Has Anyone Here Experienced This? I Have MANY TOO MANY Times, And Would Like To Know Why They Are So Different From The Common One.
I Have Had Very Strong Vivid Dreams, With The Devil Dressed As A Fransiscan Friar But His Face Covered In The Cloaks Hood, I Have Dreamed With Dead People Walking About...
I Have Felt, I Have Smelled, I Have Heard Voices In My Dreams...
So If Anyone Would Honour My Thread With Experiences And Meanings, I Would Be Grateful To Know I Am Not The Only One....
TY.
Mircalla
I'm sorry can't help you there. Although I have had reaccurring dreams before , very strong dreams.
i've had vivid dreams before... not like yours though...
still haven't figured 'em out myself.
the ones that i have figured out usually are linked to past lives though.
Well, one thing I can clarify upon is the "devil" appearing in your dreams. Mephistopheles, one of the demons in the Goetia, most often shows himself in the form of a bald-headed friar. Perhaps that has something to do with it?
i have had very realistic dreams but nothing like yours. sorry could not be of more help.
Actually,I can get in on this because you could say dreams are my thing too.Ive had them all of my life, and am only now breaking a little ground on how to interpret them.
To reply to your comment, yes, they have a very profound feeling all of their own, which you cannot shake. This can sometines go on for days, and you will most likely find that you have an overwhelming urge to tell someone about them..And you never forget them either.Ever.I have found too, that despite what content they bear,I have never once been afraid of what I have seen in them.Interpretaion is a different story even if they do seem literal. The clothing you speak of,hidden face etc...that kindof thing ,are all indicitive of these kindof dreams, and I believe what we do see is symbolistic regardless of how they might look..

I too have had very vivid dreams upon occasions. They are so clear that I can smell things like the ocean or a perfume.... I can feel sand or whatever.... I am not sure what makes these dreams different from all the rest, but I do know that I can do dream interpretation if given a decent amount of detail of the dream... it is the details that are most needed sometimes to see the truth about something.
In That One Dream There Was Alot Of Latin Speaking, That Week I Dreamed 3 Times With The Devil. Anyhow, I Woke Up In A Shock, Very Nervous And Trembling... But These Dreams Either Come In A Row, Or One Alone Every Now And Then...
I have walked into rooms and buildings that I have never been to but have had dreams about and I know where everything is
Some logical things to take into consideration -
1. Some people can be more prone to vivid dreams than others. It all depends on the way you think. If you are a very imaginative person and tend to focus on things in great detail, you would likely be prone to vivid dreams. So, if this were the case, you are actually having very normal dreams, just in excessive detail. :)
2. Your dreams tend to mirror whatever is happening in reality with your mind's own symbols. So, lets say you were under a great deal of stress at the time. Lets say you tend to link the devil to stress. In your dreams, it is likely you would have a dream about the devil because you mentally symbolize the devil with stress. I hope that makes sense lol.
But if neither of these things fit, you may have something paranormal going on.
In some tarot decks the devil is nothing more than a symbol for change. I think the religion you follow might give you a hint as to what the symbolism means. There are other things as well that can cause vivid dreams, including many medications and nicotine patches.
well sometimes i have had also such dreams but never thought in details about them all.
I know what you mean. I have been having dreams so real since i was a kid lol my mum used to wake me up bc i talked so much in my slepe she thought i was still up lol If anything you shojuld try and read your dreams. They can be a way of problem solving, or just pure imagining your options.
I can now tell, when a dream of mine IS going to happen in the future. Tho its only small things like me wlking to a store or something.
start writing them down. maybe ull get an answer, connecttion that way
Hello,
Why, yes I have experienced such things. I even had a dream with the dead walking about at all times. The cloaked person, yes also, but I don't think it was the devil in mine... I have had so many vivid dreams it scares me to a point because they seem so real...
Blessings for posting this...
Most of my dreams have been prophetic in nature; however, I have had a few dreams such as the one you are describing in relation to being vivid. I have never dreamed of Lucifer but have been able to smell, touch, feel, etc. I rather enjoy those dreams especially when I have control over my actions.
Seeing the Devil in your dreams relates to those negative aspects that you hold within yourself. It can also mean that you are harboring feelings of guilt.
Seeing the Devil can also represent intellect, craftyness, cleverness, cunning, deception.
If you see the dead it can mean that you are going to be or are being influenced by negative individuals.
If you hear voices in your dreams this can mean that you are receiving a message from your unconscious and if it's in a foreign language it's a message that you do not yet have the ability to understand. If you've attended a Catholic church or even school where Latin was used during mass or class study your sub-conscious retains those words and phrases. And if you are able to smell odors in your dreams it means a memory from your past, considering how it smells, cna be either a good memory or a bad one.
Some dreams might have to do with your past lives. Most memories past lives dwell subconcience. Yet, reoccurring dreams could be telling you something. The times when i have reoccurring dreams are when i get premonitions. There was once that i was about to go to a party, and the police showed up...months in advance from the party, and on that day of the party, low and behold gang violence happened and the police were called and arrived. Some people have vivid dreams just to help them change their life for the better.
I have many vivid dreams myself. Nothing like yours, but in mine I can pretty much do everything that I feel like I can do in real life.. but can't. Like there is stopping me from being able to do it.
I myself have had such vivid dream that when I awoke I could still smell things or even feel cold or hot from them.
I had one specific dream which ended with me being run through with a sabre. It woke me up, and I could literally feel the excruciating pain of the sword in my gut. I never want to feel that again.

Reality around us.. everything we sense, smell, see, hear, feel... it's merely how our brain interprets those sensations.
Colors appear different to different people - even though it's the same reflected light entering our eyes, our brains have a different and distinctly unique way of interpreting that input.
Because our brains control these functions, our brains can also create those functions via our dreams. In your dreams, everything you can sense in reality can be just as real because that is the way your brain is experiencing it.
What do dreams mean? Many different opinions exist on that. Personally I see dreams as being the brain's way of resolving everything inputed to it during the day. As you sleep your brain recovers from the work it has done - it processes leftover information and makes sense of new experiences. Physical connections perhaps broken down by activity are re-established... and we dream. We dream about our fears, our fantasies.. many times we simply dream about what is most on our mind, or even what was last on our mind before sleep.
Just my two-sense....
oh...lol...I already forgot what a common dream is...I ONLY have Vivid dreams...I got use to it...but one time It was so real that I woke up somewhere else, out of my house(!!!)but that's a different story and it happened only once(thank god)...You really don't wanna know where I found out myself...lolz...yea it was pretty scary...
i have many drems like that they usually somehow guide me through life...
no i have not But try dream recall before bed that will help.
I have had vivid dreams most of my life, starting from childhood.
The texture of the dreams are so different, the aura within the dream is almost palpable.
These dreams used to really scare me as a child, however my therapist suggested when i was having such a dream, to try and relax further into the dream, to allow it to carry you along further than you would normally go, sometimes these journeys take you to darker places than you may wish to go, sometimes the dreams become less vivid and peeter out to normality.
Hope this helps.
I also, have had extremely vivid dreams. I have seen the face of the devil also, and he was portrayed as my x husband. This is not a joke, though it does seem funny. When I woke, I was really distressed. Sometimes something you have seen or read during the hours spent awake has an affect on your dreams. I also believe that stressful things manifest themselves with vivid, frightening dreams. And yes, my x was truly like Satan, evil ,rotton, and cruel.
I don't know how to help you exactly what to say about this to help you, but all I can say is that I have gone through what you have gone through when it comes to sensing more than just sight and hearing in my dreams. I was stabbed once in the back in one dream, and I could actually feel the cold metal go through me...it was EXTREMELY painful!!
Maybe the couple dreams I remember would be considered vivd dreams. All I really remember was that my knees kept trying to re-dislocate....I woke up feeling like my knees had actually done that...kinda scared me
yes i have had many vivid dreams ....they seem so real at the time ..even after you awake you still have to think if they were a dream or not....
I see vivid dreams as the sign as a clear subconcious. The things seen in your dreams are pieces of memory that have built up, sort of loose ends that need to be tied up. Vivid dreams are very healthy.
