Has anyone had the opportunity to have a picture of their aura taken with the special cameras that are hooked up to electrodes that you place your hands on?

I was lucky enough to have this experience over the weekend. Mom and I attended an aura reading "party". The psychic who was taking the pictures and giving the readings was absolutely AMAZED by our results:

We had our pictures taken seperately, within 10 minutes of each other. My mom and I have TWIN auras! The psychic has been working with auras for 25 years and she said that she sees this very rarely with mother/daughter pairs, let alone a mother and a daughter who are not blood-related. (I'm adopted)

The main differences in our auras was that I had a little more purple, which means I'm developing my spiritual self more. We had a lot of white around us(protection) and orange and yellows(creativity).

Does anyone know of any good reading material on auras that I could look for? Also if you have any experiences with auras please share them! :)

I have not had the good fortune to have an aura picture. It sounds pretty cool and while I havent heard of machines being able to see auras, it wouldnt suprise me that it is possible.

The cameras are showing up at all the "Mind, Body and Soul" expos and fairs. You can find them also at flea markets where they rent the booth out for the month. The first time I saw this done was several years ago at Salem Mass.

Billy has a good point. A lot of these aura readers are subject to whether they are scientifically accurate or not. I don't lay too much stock in their results. However I would be interested in finding out what my results are like. I think that they may point towards certain things, but I have also found that psychics tend to tell us what we want/ expect to hear, too.


Did you obtain a copy of the actual picture?

There are some who say that those cameras could also(or similar ones?) point out a vampiric entity as well as your aura colors.

I have never had the opportunity, but would jump at the chance. There are plenty of books, and web pages online. If you do a search on books about auras, you will get a good list. I believe in auras, and would like to ignore people who want to disbelieve, or debunk the idea.

I never got mine taken but I was priviledge to see one of a complet body taken by a special machine (dont remember the name sorry it was about 2 years ago) it was of a martial art artist, he coudl use his aura to litterally attack and knock you out so the scientist took a pitcure of it (well more then one) and it was impressive.

I have always been able to see people's auras. I don't how or why. I just can. And it more then just colors I se. I can also feel what is in thier soul. Werid huh?

I missed a seminor on this. I am sorry I did, for many were satisfied with the results, others had their doubts.

i never heard of aura reading machines before. this is something i would love to try out. I wonder where i could go in florida. there are many places that have tarot and other types of readings but ive never seen one like that.

Even tho many of u are saying that it might not be real, there is always speculation on stuff like this.

My son operated the "aura machine" when he worked at the state fair, last year. Actually, it was just a program loaded on to a computer, and the 'participant' would place their fingertips on the piece of equipment that would read their aura and translate it into a color scheme radiating around the person's head on the monitor. The picture is snapped and the aura photo printed. Whether this actually detected a person's aura or not may never be known for sure......my son's boss told him that if anyone expressed an interest or desire for their aura to be a certain range of colors, my son was to wait until that color scheme displayed on the computer and then snap the pic. I believe we all have auras, I'm just not so sure they can truly be captured on film using this method. On a funny side note, there were several people who expressed unhappiness at there not being a "black" aura.....the possible color arrays ranged from whites, reds, blues, etc., and subtle combinations of them all. And, surprise, surprise, almost all of those disappointed in the lack of what they considered a "bad" aura were young, goth-types or cagey-looking hoodlum-types. lol Did I just use the term "hoodlum"? Sheesh.

I think the photos are taken using something called Kirlian photography

The science is very real but quite how to interpret what you're looking at is a different thing - as Billy said it could be water vapour

No I've never had that kind of picture taken, it sounds very interesting. I don't know a lot about auras, however an enjoyable piece of fiction called "Insomnia" by Stephen King dealt a lot with auras.

No I have not had the opportunity. But I am skeptical, are they for real?

artemka, thats a good point adn picture. i think that inanimate objects would have auras too tho. everything has energy in it, even inanimate objects.

seeing Auras is not that hard..
cross your eyes till the edges of objects or people become blurred..
theres a faint edge of color that surounds the body at all times..and yes the colors do change.
Also those that are looking to have black auras are going to be sad, for speaking on a personal level I have never seen one. Seen a few pale, and or brightly colord ones but thats about it..

Me, I've been told that mines is always nice Orangey color...

Havnt realy thought about giving it a try but since it has come up i would not say no 2 trying it anytime...wonder how often it would change if it could be monitored for a whole day or something...???

Kirlian photography is not really an aura reading ... it is more like a palm reading.

It has to do with the energy flow through your hand when you are thinking f the various levels of conciousness that the reader asks you to think about as you do each stage of the photograph (There should be 4.) The background can determine how many chacras you have opened, the flashes determine how protected you are... etc... It is something that is not psychic... it can be enterpreted by anyone liek basic palm reading, provided the photograph is done right.

i personally do not believe that the mechenes work i was not happy with me reading so went a second time and it was totally diffrent so honey i have nothing to really recomend i would hit the closest witch craft store that you can find that is where i got all of my books

that's pretty cool, but I stick to my own senses. I can tell what color a person's aura is and I can also tell what parts of the zodiacs they belong to (like the 1st part, towards the end, etc.)
I don't think that machines work, either. I think magick and your own senses would do better. It might not even be an aura you're looking at. And sometimes what it says about you is false.

I only sense the auras and zodiacs it at a weak level, so sometimes I'm wrong, but I've been right about people so far

well Ive never had a picture of my aura taken but I definetely believe they exist.

I've never had the experience of having my picture taken or a reading of auras of any kind. Although I do believe that auras exist, I wish I had some more information on it on how to authentically get it done.

is there anything you can do to build up your ability to see different colored auras i can see the white outlines and see the changes in it when someone feels something strongly but i cant see colors, i wish i could, if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated thank you

So im sitting at work. theres lots of customers passing by and im trying to see their auras.... and i realize... i cant cross my eyes.

you have to look past the individual or almost trough them until they get sort of fuzzy or distorted think of it like one of those magic eye puzzles where you look at the image presented to figure out the hidden truth within

My mother and I were able to take home the actual pictures...I took a pic of them on my digital camera and I will be uploading it to my portfolio over the weekend. The reader wants copies of our photos for her book that she takes with her to the different readings.

I'm not so sure I trust the machine myself either but the fact that everyone else's auras were different(some people had their heart chakras open, it was noticable on the photograph) kind makes me less skeptical about the science aspect of it.

As far as my reading was concerned, it was almost a psychic reading more or less and the woman's ability to interpret what the photograph provided is comparable to some psychics who use tarot to give their readings. I think this reading was very accurate. When I went to a psychic who used a tarot deck, she was asking me questions - as though she was unsure of what was coming to her from my spirit and my energies. This woman - the aura reader - stated everything in a very matter of fact kind of way. The best way I can describe it is that she confirmed a lot of my own beliefs of what is to come in the near future for me.

And yes, your aura will change. It all depends on what is happening in your life at the time of your reading.


Leelue - if you have a lot of orange around you that is great! You must be a very creative person :)

I have had the picture done. It should mostly white with a bit of ....yellow I think. It has been few years. In any case, what she interpreted it to mean was that the white was my being protected and looked after by the powers that be... and the yellowish color was the need for my health to improve.

I have also had someone tell me that ehy could see my aura and that it was a lovely magenta color that meant I was very caring. Shrugs shoulders......I take both with a grain of salt....altho I will say that I am caring and my health does need to improve. As for being watched over, I certainly hope so. :)

i wish we could all go get aura pics taken and upload em. see what we all look like. and what colors our little auras are.

what is the deal with auras? how can you know what yours is? i dont even know how to figure out what someone elses is much less my own. im just curious.

I wonder how accurate those pictures... it would be interesting to compare the pictures results to that of someone who claims to see auras.

I recently saw a special about vampires on the discovery channel. And they had a entire segment for Kirlian photograpy. During the segment they took photos of 2 peoples auras. One was a psy vamp. The other was a donor. They would take pictures before, during, and after feeding of both subjects. The before photo of the victims aura was a blue colour. The psy vamps was substantially larger and red and orange. The pattern quite firery. During the feeding the victims aura diminished more than half of what it was. And the psy vamps aura had small singular tendrills comming off as if reaching out. The after photo of the victims aura was still smaller than normal, with what looked to be small white punctures. The psy vamps aura flourished. About twice the size as normal and the tendrils gone. The firery pattern more intensified.

hmm interesting it is any body know of people who can see them with out technology?

Id pay good money to have someone that could do that. My cousin tried to say he could see Auras in pictures. I mean like..he could look at a picture and see it. I always thought he was kinda crazy. But now it got me thinking..hmm

I actuallly had my "aura picture" taken a couple of years ago in Nashville. The results, however much I do or don't really believe, were cool. My "aura" presented as multi-colored. There was mostly green, but it also consisted of blue, yellow, red, and orange.

From my understanding, the type of reading I had was a form of biofeedback reading. I actually sat in a chair and placed my hands on the feedback pads. The aura presented as colors over and across myself in the picture.

Like I said, I don't know how much credence I put into it, but it was nonetheless cool.

I unfortunately have never had one done but would love to know what mine id and anything else that can be read...I am still searching to find out exactly what I am and need guidance badly...

I have never known anyone who has had that done.But I have seen photos in books and online of auras.
Many spiritual folks can see auras, doesn't have to be any particular religion or belief.Mine I have been told is purple most days.There are several websites that can tell you what colour depicts what kind of person,etc.The webpage below shows into from a photo from 1939 on the this subject.

Haven't had the pleaure yet to have my aura photographed. But sure want to have it done some day. We gotta have some dreams and plans for the (not so distant) future.

thanks Dragonspawn for posting that link :) I've never had a picture taken of my aura but I have had numerous people claim to see my aura and it always seems to be the same every time. It would be interesting to get the aura picture taken just to see :)

I remember being in 5th grade and having this girl go around and read everyones auras. She told me mine was black. HA!

I am a bit sceptic when it comes to these aura reading machines, so I dont think they are enough reliable way to determine ones aura/s....

But yeah , might be the real deal, what do I know....
