This is just one way of calling a power of suggestion.

I winder if any of you have had a similar experience to this...

I don't and can't do it these days and In fact I haven't tried hard to do it..

However...
When I was younger I was able to affect people by thinking things towards them.. it is hard to explain but I hope those of you that are familier with this can understand my lame, articulative ways on this topic.
One could put it down to coincidence.. That's fine...
what I cannot explain tho.. is the accuracy of my THOUGHT that was then motioned after a few moments..
ok.. I was at school, I was bullied by this arrogant girl a year older than I.. she was a school bully and it seemed, this was MY day to be bullied on..
she jumped the queue right in front of me.. looking down her nose as if to say yeah, AND?
I averted my eyes as to not provoke her... she then stepped back and trod on my toe.. she turned to see mw whince and then said "oh... SO sorry" in a sarcastic tone.. It really hurt and I tried not to let it show.
her little minions arrived all jumping the que in front of me, showing their shoulders in to me and giving each other scappy banter.. careless about others.. one looked over at me as the 'bully' whispered to her..
Then she laughed.. and said "is that what that smell is" and looked at me then said I ought to wash.
I was getting really upset now and just wanted to get my dinner in the line and leave to sit down.
the 'bully continued provoking me and elbowing me and stoo on my toe again.. and trying to make me rise to it.
I didn't say a single word.. But I found myself imaging her falling over and everyone laughing at her...
we were in the diner hall, and I found myself thinking this as a time out.
She was about to get her tray and then get her chips for lunch and she started to go and find a table.. with her 'friends'
I was still finding it hard to fight my tears.. I turned to get my dinner as i was now my turn, I heard this ROAR of laughter.. I turned and I saw that SHE had fallen over her dinner all over the floor.. and EVERYONE was laughing at her.. she got up and ran out of the Halll...

OMG did I chuckle!!!

has anyone else had a thought suggestive experience?

Hmmm. I would say, it is may be a coincidence... But I really dont believe that.
I think the mind is powerful, but it is not anyway the reason why I DO understand you Minx. Yes, I have had some similar experiences, but, I think, it is because everything has a natural order...
Let me see if I can explain myself better...
When you have a feeling about something or someone, it is probably, true. If you are envolved enough with the things going around that thing or person, you might probably "see" , what is next.
All has a pattern. If I see something forcing with something else, so hard; I could say that, sooner or later, something will happen to the first. If Im paying attention enough... Im quite sure, Ill see something happening.

If you believe consciously and unconsciously that it will happen, it will. If you do not or have any of the slightest doubts or opposite thought influencing you, it won't.

Sometimes, then, in extreme moments and faith or belief we can empower ourselves to "see" certain things happening. Often we are too specific, but similar to what Harpia said, if you are involved in the situation enough, it's very possible you'll be able to see the different variety of things that could happen, or at least one of them.

If your thoght is in that realm of probability, it's likely to happen. If you believe it strongly enough, it will happen anyways.

Next time you're in the lunch line, try getting someone else to fall. or, if that's too harsh for you, try to et somebody else to pick on the girl who was bullying you. It may just give you an idea for the range of things that can happen in certain situations.

I don't know if I think you saw the future, more like you were very upset and trying so very hard not to show it that your intent was condensed and focused to the point that your suggestion that she fall was strong enough to affect her. Sometimes mental suggestion is intensified when you are under duress or fearfull.

i have had similar incedents happen as well. WHen I was younger and even once in a while now. I cannot explain it... except that for it to happen i focus entirely on the event and picture it in my mind and it does happen. not often now.. but alot more when i was younger.

I've had incidents like this happen before, but I've put them aside as coincidences.

*shrug* I don't know, even if it is a coincidence, it is quite satisfying.

My sister was walking with me to a friends house and she was bringing them a couple dozen eggs in some cartons. She was being a snot to me and I was walking in front of her, she said something rude and I looked over my shoulder and said, "I hope you drop those eggs..."

*SPLAT!*

Yeah, not saying I made it happen, but it was satisfying seeing her clean it up...

It is frequent in my case that it happens, this is why even pissed off I am now carefull in what I say, last to times I did nto think and said someting really bad, one it was: whish you hurt yourself, the reuslt ws that my brother broke his upper bone in his legg, the second time I said,:hope you have an accident, result my daughter got one almost got kill hitting a wall, both times I was sayting this to another person because they pissed me off.

But it also has its good side tobe able to do that, I said one time for exemple: there is a ring in ose flower I am sure, this a marriage proposal, result my mom's fiance at that time propose now she is married. lol

In all the case tho I never said it to the person involve but always to a third party.

I dont know if this is the same but if i really dont like someone and they give me a reason not to like them something bad usually happens to them, not always but most of the time...

i have had similiar situations occur myself ... but never with such immediate results lol.. that had to feel great!! lol

it did not feel great cause the ones who got the "accident" were not the ones who had hurt me or pissed me, it was innocent people that got the "revenge" of me saying it.

I do understand what you mean. I have actually had many times where the same type of thing has happened to me, which is why I do not think bad thoughts upon people unless I really have a hatred for them. Most of the bad thoughts I have I would not even wish upon my worst enemy, but if it came down to it, I know they would deserve what they got.

You may have experienced a coincidence, but it seems to be too perfect to be just that... Or maybe you were thinking something in the future and it happened. I'm not sure.

i used to be able to make it rain, or summon storms when i was young. it started as a koke - but i found i could really will it to rain. then, i found that whenever i travelled outside my home town, storms would follow me - whether i wanted them to or not. it became a joke amongst my friends who lived far off - "don't plan anything this weekend - it's gonna rain" "how do you know?"

Minx, what comes around goes around. I think that you wanted it to happen and it did. But, it is very, very possible it was her turn to fall.

Well I believe the mind is a powerful thing and if you think something and put emotion to it, it can manifest. Unfortunately negative thoughts can be stronger and more powerful than positive because its easier to think along negative lines. It is possible that this incident was brought on by your emotions and hate for her at the time of the incident. Or it could have been just pure coindenced or karmic intervention.

My husband is good at saying becareful what you wish for... and it is a good tool to use to stop yourself thinking nastily towards another.

I didn't MEAN to think nasty but I was in a lot of pain at the time... I really couldn't think of pretty flowers or scooby Doo.. And I was tryin hard not to cry thru Pain onm my foot.

I have also has this happen in a more positive way..
I was in a club.. and I was about 2 feet from a busy bar.. I was scanning the bar just because...... I saw this person that had an alluring appeal to them.. something 'different' I sensed about them... ALL of a sudden, they turned completely around and looked RIGHT at me, As I was thinking about them.

i do that to but its either persuasion of mind or somewhat a prayer to me i used to like this guy and for a while i was to shy to talk to him or even have him look in my direction one day i ended up wishing hoping and thinking your gonna ask me to junior prom ask me to junior prom and i was walking out of class he caught my arm and asked me so im not sure either or other things would happen like i lost my favorite sunglasses the other day *please let them be there were i left them please lat them still be there* over and over in my mind and as i had asked wished whatever they were still there under the tree were i left them

I also believe that thought association can work both ways and have had it work both ways for myself as well. There was this one time in my life where I was extremely ill and the doctors had little they could do to help me, they could not figure out why I was having the problems I was. Basically, I got to the point where I was tired of being the victim and willfully made my body get better, it's kind of hard to explain. But after about a week of just thinking positively and having the strong will to want to get better and after much meditation, I just was better. I guess that is along the same lines hmm?

Vamp...That is a great story. My brother in law was severely hurt in a tractor accident. The tractor tipped over on him. They took him to the hospital with the steering wheel through his arm. The doctors said he would never use it again.

Years later, after regaining full use of his arm in a very short time, he told me he willed his body to repair itself. He visualized his body healing.

Nice it would be if I could do that sometimes. With my close family, if I think about calling them, they usually do. Does that count?

When I wish good things towards people it sometimes happens.
I don't even bother wishing negative thoughts or energy towards losers or idiots because I beleive in Kharma and "What comes around goes around."
I have no interest in an idiot taking up any space in my mind. I just ignore them.
That makes them angrier anyways LOL

I used to be able to do weird stuff like that before I had my first child. I was told that once you have children you pass along some of that power. My grandmother still has alot of hers, but I seem to have lost some of it. But then again it could the fact that having a child has made it where I have not had the time to concentrate as much.

i have never been able to affect any ones minds but i knew some one once that could read minds it was a little weird but cool at the time

I have not had the end all result that many of you have spoken of, I do know that the power of suggestion is a powerful tool. I have my current job by willing it, sat in the interview, telling the individuals that they would give me the job, and after I left I received a phone call around two hours later that I had the job.

Calming chaos... Indeed!! I find myself thinking if I can still do it.. It's like having the cake.. and the ingrediants, but don't know the method in the cooking!!

I think it is very possible to do things like that with your mind and I myself have done similar things as you have mentioned.

i can say yes as for myself no but i do knbow someone who this is very familuar with things happening to people that does him wrong it is very possible

I believe the mind is a very powerful thing and yes you can will something to happen. Africans being brought to America use to will themselves to die while they were on the ship. They did not want to face what their captors had in store for them.

I think the universe or someone in the universe may have heard your thought and thought karma should be instant in the bully's case.

Thoughts are very powerful, I rarely project to make things happen, I save it for when walking home, my thoughts read "Beware" and noone bother's me. When in a social setting and there is someone there I really don't want to talk to I form a sort of shield that that person feels very uncomfortable when they pass through. Just be careful when projecting, I'm sure you wouldn't really want to hurt anyone.

There is a parallel to magic. Spells consist of steps which almost always include visualization.

Also, Visualization boards are a great positive way to harness the power of your subconscious and conscious to achieve what you dream of.

i stayed over @ a friend's one night cuz i didn't want to drive an hr back home in a snowstorm. he went to his room and i laid down on the couch. well, in my head, or so i thought, i played out a conversation and "told" him things that i had never really told anyone b4. then drifted off to sleep. the next morning, he asked me about the things i had "told" him the night b4. i was a lil shaken that he actually had heard me. this has happened several times since then w/ the same friend and a few others...

If I were feeling more opptimistic, I'd say otherwise, but I think it's just coinsidence.

With the right circumstances and atmosphere thought association is possible. The power of suggestion, whether we use our minds or other mediums is not mutually exclusive to the individual either.

Thought association can be influenced by many outside distractors. My mind goes to propaganda, terror tactics, economics, and human nature just to name a few.

How do you think that the Nazi party convinced so many people that the non-arian persons were dangerous to the state? How do you think the American Government convinced people that it was our right to push manifest destiny? Or how every teenage girl is convinced she has to shop in a certain place to be popular?

There are situations built called think tanks were scientists come together to pool thier intelligence to come to conclusions never heard of before.

I have long believed we are a system of collective thought. Each thought we have goes through a collective consiousness. So, if this is true, thought association is very possible.

Most people can cause something to happen if their thoughts hold enough power behind them . . . since you were upset at the time, maybe this is the case.

Perhaps you were thinking the future subconciously , and percieved this as your own thoughts . When it was really a form of intuitive vision .

I don't believe in coincedence, so I'd say there was some impression from the thought. I'm unable to explain it, myself...but I do know exactly what you're speaking of.

It COULD be a coincidence but I dont think it is. I think that minds that are open enough give off and recieve thoughts from one to the other. This might sound really dumb but I was thinking about Friday when my hunny and I will be in madison that it would be nice to go to red lobster because I rarely get to go and its one of my fave places and he comes in the room and says..."hey I was thinking that when we are in madison friday...why dont we go to red lobster?" and I almost fell out of my chair. This happens to me alot honestly
