For anyone who is in the north west of England, there are now Haunted Liverpool Ghost Walks
In Liverpool City Centre or Childwall.
The Liverpool city centre tours are every Thursday and Friday, whilst the Childwall tour is every Sunday.
All the money from these walks goes to help a local animal sanctaury called Freshfields.
for more info please take a look at www.ghostwalks.org
Everybody who works on these ghost walks does so out of the goodness of their hearts to raise as much money as possible for the sanctuary, and all the proceeds from the costs of the tours goes directly to the charity, not the back pockets of it's creators.
I'm on the grotty side of the Mersey, Angelus is on your side
No grotty side of the mersey, lol.
I used to live right behind the baltic fleet pub in an appartment over looking the albert dock, wish i was still there, lol.
And back to the point of this thread, lol
The animal sanctuary is really struggling in the current ecconomic climate, there are going to be some pyscic nights held soon, i'm not 100% sure on the dates yet, but as soon as i know i will post them.
Please folks if you can go on one of the walks, and help save an animals life :D

Fantastic, woohoo. The walks really are good. i went on one at Christmas, and Captain Moonlight who leads the tours is very knowledgable about the stories.
I have it on good authority that there is going to be a Jack the Ripper Ghost walk being organised by freshfields, as Jack the Ripper may have been a scouse bussiness man, so keep an eye out for that.
I'm in Whitchurch not a million miles away, I'm heading up to Liverpool with some friends soon so will defiantly take a look
is it liverpool which has native skorpeons living in the docks?
BUT they're not 'native' as such. Bloody immigrants coming here killing our mice, I shall write to my MP...
im moving this up to mascara until a date has been set for a meet up
Wigan here.
Not one for the old ghost hunts but the Jack the Ripper sounds great! Might have to keep eyes/ears open.
not bad im in manchester and braniganns is a fun ghost experiance
Scouser :)
Liverpool bred and born wouldn't mind goin to Scotland for a meet up.
I love that place.
Chaos I would never have guessed you were a scouser :-P
you need to come on a ghost walk I am organising with someone for the autumn
They do sound good, me and the missus might have to take a trip down!
Robin will do! haha.
So stupid question but des the ghost walk, take you around all the old back streets o liverpool? Or do we get to go in houses as well?
The ghost walks take you around the streets.
The new Jack the ripper Tour, takes you into St Georges Hall for a Trial, that happend in Liverpool. the story evades my mind at the moment.
The Jack the Ripper tour is based loosely on the alleged diaries of a suspect in the case, who came from Liverpool.
I am how ever starting to work on a new Ghost Tour with a new group, which will be a one off, ending in a ghost hunt in St James' cemetery, with EMF readers and a psychic, if we can find one who is any good.
We are trying to decide which charity the money will go to, aswell as sorting out some other details at the moment, I will add more once it is organised :D
Ooo, Jack the Ripper, That is a must then. Robin pack one for me too please!
am living on The Wirral, I have heard of em on Local Radio.
Aye robin, sounds good. We'l have to arrange something for the near future? like a mini VR ghost walk.
I met Richard Felix last year, as he has written a book about Merseyside, lol. half his stories were relating to my family, which I took great pleasure in telling him when I met him, lol.
I always forget the name of that pub, thats where the ghost walks that take in the cemetery begin from.
murder most foul begins at Exchange flags, and the Childwall tour, I have no idea, as I don't know childwall at all, lol.
Childwall Ghost and Murder Tour @ the Half Way House,

Thursday and Sunday walks are the same. And I did mine in Winter, which was good in the dark, lol. (oh yeah this is LadyS by the way, just on my other name, lol)
The walks are really pretty good when ever you do them.
