Who doesn't love 84 degree days in December? Me. I hate it here. La Niña years always suck. The dry wind is killing my nose. It's supposed to be this warm all week.
I've got a silly question for VR, if you're willing to indulge me for a moment. Someone told me recently that it's a regional thing, mostly just a SoCal thing, to say the in front of a freeway number. Like, the 101, the 405, the 605, the 210, etc. I've never really put much thought into it before, but now I'm curious if it's just the way SoCal is. So, if you would like to, put where you're from (the state, I don't want your literal address), and whether or not you say the in front of a freeway or highway number. It sounds weird to me to not say it.

New York, and no we do not
Ohio, haven't noticed here
Washington, no we do not here.
I thought it was just apart of one's street address and some have highways.
We don't where I live. If you don't remember message me and I'll tell ya again. :)
In Norcal the traffic people just say the highway number with no the in front of the number.
That's a regional thing in socal.
Gotta be regional as well as, how many syllables are needed, and of course just grammar. The I-95 is said in certain phrases, other times it's "on 95". The I gets to be too much I guess. lmao

Oh my gosh, I'd kill for that right now! My hometown is usually anywhere in the mid/high-60 to low-50 range. Now we're getting low 50-high 30 range and the wind chill is AWFUL. I'm warmer in mid 20 degree Minneapolis weather than I am right now.
