The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I just watched this on the Cartoon Network, and I have to admit I liked it a lot. This was the first time I've seen anything from the new "The Batman" cartoon series. I'm a fan of the 90's "Animated Series", and I think this could be a worthy sucessor.



If you are a fan of Batman, specifically the cartoonish, campy kind, you'll like this movie. If you're a hard core movie or comic fan, this might not be to your taste. But it was still fun, even dodging the bad puns.



Dracula was done well, and how he got to Gotham and was dredged up, is handled OK -- it's a cartoon, don't dig too deep for exposition.



The Joker is very different from any previous incarnation, and I loved it. And yes, Drac bites him (I'm not spoiling too much here) and he was quite possibly Malkavian material.



Note well, this is NOT Red Rain or anything so well-written. It's a kids cartoon, but saying that as a baseline, this was well done.



Would I buy it? Maybe. The extras sound cool... but it was definitely worth watching on Cartoon Network, and it will probably get played again as Halloween nears.
