Woodchester Mansion is generally viewed as one of the most haunted locations in Britain.
according to the Institue of Paranormal Research there are many strange happenings in this place...
--->they have recorded:
'Sinister Laugh' EVP recorded in Woochester's Cellar
Recorded at Woodchester Mansion, a sinister laugh can be heard above three researchers leaving the cellars.
You'll first hear G and Sulu talking as they leave the cellar area, then what can only be described a 'Sinister Laugh' can be heard over their voices. There is nothing physical, nor any mechanical apparatus, in the cellar that could have created this sound, yet it is there for all to hear!
listen!
what do you think of this? do you have any theories on what could be making these things happen?
have you ever had a paranormal exerience on which you have proof?
do you know of any other locations around the world that are "haunted"? if so....which ones and why?
Darkness the queen of the Rave saves the day!! Now folks.. this is what you call a truly amazing Post.. follow darkness.. and thy shall find the light!! congratulations for saving the posts cutie.... I listened to it and it's freaky... sounds a little fake, but it's hard to tell on such a short clip. I have never heard of this place, but doing some research now.. gonna have to go there and find out for myself...
ive heard of that place and thats recording does sound a little fake, my old house i used to live in is haunted and i got a pic of a ghost one night its sweet. best camera to have is the polariods that give u the pic right away. hehe
intresting, i dont what else to say, hmmmm i should go and see this "haunting"
i know, sounds a little fake to me too kind of like a mechanical laugh instead of an evil laugh...
but here's a creepier clip:
listen!
now, ive been trying to get EVPs but im too scared to do it in my room....since i sleep here and all lol...
anyway, another haunted place that seems to be causing attraction for paranormal researchers is the surroundings of the ruins of St. Mary’s Church, Clophill
heres a little history on the place from the IoPR's website:
-------
Clophill in the county of Bedfordshire is a small picturesque village, but behind this perfect example of an English country village lies something of a mystery. Just to the north of the village, atop a large hill, lies the ruins of St. Mary’s church.
These ruins have gained something of a sinister reputation, although there is nothing sinister about why the church fell into disuse. Being only a village at the time, Clophill had little use for two churches. Whilst St. Mary’s stood isolated on a hill, the other church, built in Victorian times and also called St. Mary’s, stands in the middle of the village. So faced with the choice of a Sunday morning walk up a steep hill, or a short stroll, it was obvious which one would see greater numbers of worshipers. Thus old St. Mary’s was effectively decommissioned in the late 50’s, having already ceased regular services in 1934. Whilst the Victorian church, which stands in the heart of the village, was built in 1848, the Perpendicular style church atop the hill, which is NOT Deadman’s Hill, was constructed in the 14th Century. Although A church of some kind was thought to have soon on the same site since the late 9th century. Clophill itself is mentioned in the Doomsday Book (as Clophille), and it thought that a leper colony also occupied the site at the time.

The Church

sounds wicked i might have to add that to my travel list
shit there so many place...pulls out my big book about them....
u should look for the book Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places. by Brad Stieger. its 615 pages everything in it is interesting.
this is a good site about the investigations into the mansion..
http://www.cambridgeparanormal.co.uk/woodchestermansion.html
i'm getting goose bumps all over my bosy here.. when my eyes start to water ferom being freaked out i know something is up..
Look up the Whaley House its america's most haunted mansion
http://www.haunteddoghouse.com/Winchester_Mys.html
this site talks about it. its really interesting i saw it on tv once and its in my book,
i have often wondered about such ghosts and the parnormal.. i watched poltergiest a few months ago, and had a look into the death of the little girl who played the lead role... makes you wonder that there must be something after this life...
thats a great website Dhampir.....has a great deal of research going on....awesome.
thank you =)
according to what ive read her death was the cause of wrong medication....i looked into this a while back....but it does make you wonder...
there has been some loss of life after certain horror movies have been made...all with "explenations" but...it does cause curiosity doesn't it?
can you remeber the scene where the boy is getting attacked by the clown under his bed? ever thought what a amazing piece of acting that was?? it so happens there was a malfunction on the clown and it really was choking him... spielberg himself rescued him.. and the same with the corpses.. they where ment to be fakes, (i think its the swimming pool scene) turns out there was a mix up and they where real skeletons..

I have yet to listen to the link. I do want to answer the question of haunted places. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall. I travel around Michigan to visit places that are haunted. I have been to about a dozen with many more to go. I have been to a grave in Traverse City of a little girl named Jenny Jenkins. In a circular field is where she likes to play HIde and seek. We could hear her laughin behind us and in front of us.. like a child. With saying " come out come out where every you are Jenny" she suddenly appears. I have heard people telling us to get out of places. I have had the feeling of not being welcomed. I have so many stories! lol As for finding haunted places. you can look up " haunted places in :::: insert state here:::: and there should be things that come up. I have websites on hauntings in MI. I do have a group that goes on planned trips in MI... I hope to be traveling to a a lot of places when it gets nice out...
You guys should check out Grayfriars Cemetery in Edinburgh, Scotland.
It has a real bad history....First the ground is very swamp-like....so the dead bodies sometimes come up thru the ground, especially when it rains.
Then sometime during the English Civil War, a man named "Bloody George Mackenzie", killed a lot of religious dissidents called "Covenanters". The Covenanters' bodies were buried in the Grayfriars cemetery, named the "Covenants' Prison". Now, tour guides who take party's of people on the "city of the dead tour" and the people who have been on it have had things happen to them when they step inside.
Further irony is that when "Bloody George", himself died, his body was placed in "The Black Mausoleum", a tomb in Grayfriars Cemetery, close to his victims in the Covenants' Prison.
For years, Bloody George's restless (and very pissed off) spirit was contained with his coffin. Then during a rainy night, a homeless man, crawled into the Black Mausoleum....went into the tomb of Bloody George....and accidentally broke open the coffin. The next thing the homeless man did was run like hell out of the Black Mausoleum, back into the rain.
From then on the spirit of Bloody George has been attacking any person who steps in the Black Mausoleum, causing injuries and hysteria.
Such proof has been documented by witnesses with video camera, as victims show scratches on their skin and tell how invisible hands strangled them.
Not soon after the attacks became really intense, an exorcist went into the Black Mausoleum to remove the angry spirit. After a very long ceremony, the exorcist left the Mausoleum, and died a day later.
A second exorcism was done, and it was somewhat successful. The attacks ceased, but city cancelled the "City of the Dead" tours and locked up the Black Mausoleum permenantly.
But tourists still walk thru the famous cemetery, taking pictures of The Covenanters' Prison and the Black Mausoleum. Sometimes, if you lucky, you can see orbs or figures around The Covenanters' Prison keeping watch over the Black Mausoleum.....ensuring the spirit of Bloody George will not escape his tomb.
Yes, I'm a believer!
On my next trip to Edinburgh, I'm gonna check it out.....and bring my camera.
niiicee Hawk, sounds like a very interesting place!
Dhampir, ever heard about the Wizard of OZ incident?
well its said that during the filming of the movie, one of the crew members, or one of the custodians hung himself between the bushes on the set, and no one knew so they filmed it.....it wasnt until the movie was finished and already put on the market that everyone saw a faint glimpse of the corpse, but by that time it was too late, so they had to re-edit and send back the movies....this was with the first Wizard of Oz movies, now i dont know if its true but its kind of graphical is u think about it....i dunno if there is anything showing this on the net but now that i rember of this i might look into it. (((dont u just love the i-net?!?)))
anyway, another place that is said to be haunted is this Hotel by where i live in Coral Gables, Miami, FL...its called the Biltmore, a very prestigious hotel if i may add....its said that the 13th floor is haunted and u can hear stuff at night....and things happen, objects move the whole thing...i haven't experienced this but i hear that from many sources, personally i think its an urban legend..but who knows???
anyone up for a night at the biltmore? ;)
I've seen the Wizard of Oz bit. Was somewhat amusing to my demented mind.
You can pretty clearly see a body swinging from a rope if you know where to look.
lol.. as it turns out, it is actually a bird, a crane they think. if you go to this link, it has the original footage form the end of the film.... you can see it spreading its wings.. very interesting though.. ty darkness... this makes a good thread.. curses and hauntings of films.. me likey!
*wink*
no problem...
we were in serious need of some good threads ;)
::: blushes and hugs DB::::

Wow...
In my country we have a road that goes up to the little hill.. And when you stop the car on the hill and switch off the engine...it goes up the hill itself!!!!!
helps if you take it out of gear when you park it lol...
iu dont hav any theorys or anythin but well i would like 2 go there and to the top of spring street in seattle
wow this is rather amazing althought I have heard of this kind of places before. I had my share with the paranormal several times but all I could advice you is, if you decide to go there, don't go alone but go with a group of friend whom you really trust deeply. And if you sense any kind of resistence from yourself while your in a room, don't push your luck and follow your instincts. Good luck and Be save!

I was looking up haunted places and found out that shadowlands has a site for Florida..
http://theshadowlands.net/places/florida.htm
I believe they have a site for most of the states. But I cant quite recall.
this is an excellant site. They will tell you if places are a fluke or not after they have checked it out.
I cant wait for it to get nice out so I can start doing this again!
i perfer the word kill
"u cant let a gd thred get killed by the admins"
there is this one place i came across today
HICKORY HILL,
"THE OLD SLAVE HOUSE"
EQUALITY, ILLINOIS
history:
Hickory Hill was built by a man named John Hart Crenshaw and became a blight on the history of Illinois. In those days, it was illegal to own slaves in Illinois but because no man would work the brutal salt mines of Saline County, it was allowed that slaves could be leased from other states to work. Crenshaw owned several salt tracts and quickly took advantage of the law.
He built Hickory Hill in 1842 and began a new scheme that would bring him even more money than the salt mines could. He devised a plan to kidnap free blacks and put them to work in the salt mines. He also sold these people back to slave owners in the south, creating a sort of reverse "underground railroad."
Once the house was completed, Crenshaw added a few finishing touches like a carriage door that opened directly into the house so that slaves could be taken up a secret passage directly to the attic. In was in the attic that the slaves were imprisoned during the night and some say, subjected to brutal torture. According to the stories, there was also an underground tunnel that led from the basement to the river, where slaves could be loaded at night.
Crenshaw devised another plan, this one to create slaves of his own. He selected a slave for his size and stamina and set him to breeding more slaves with the females that could bear children. This man, known simply as "Uncle Bob" was said to have fathered as many as 300 children. He lived until the age of 112 and died in 1948.
The attic at Hickory Hill was a chamber of horrors. A dozen cells opened off a wide corridor. They were small rooms with bars on the windows and with iron rings where shackles could be bolted to the floor. The attic had only a small window at either end, so the air was stifling. A whipping post was also constantly in use and many of the valuable slaves were said to have died at the cruel hands of Crenshaw and his men.
In 1842, Crenshaw was brought to trial for selling a free family into slavery. The case could not be proven until after the trial and by then it was too late. The prosecutor would try again in 1846, the same year that one of Crenshaw's slaves attacked him with an ax, severing his leg. His slave trade days were over and his mill was burned to the ground. He died in 1871 and he and his wife were buried at Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Many years later, the house was opened as a tourist attraction and it was no secret that strange things were going on in the house. Tourist were reporting hearing strange noises coming from the attic. . .noises that sounded like cries and whimpers, and even rattling chains.
The legends say that on one could ever spend the night in the attic of the house, especially after an event in the 1920's that got the attention of ghost researchers all over the country. An "exorcist" from Benton, Illinois named Hickman Whittington wrote an article about the house in a local newspaper. He was in perfect health when he came to visit the old mansion but took ill later than same night and died just hours later.
As the years passed, no one dared to spend the night in the room. In the late 1960's, two soldiers who had seen action in Vietnam ran screaming from the house after being surrounded by ghostly shapes. A year or so later, the owner stopped letting people in the house after dark. A small fire had accidentally been started by a lantern.
In 1978, he finally relented and a reporter from Harrisburg named David Rodgers was allowed to spend the night. Despite hearing a lot of strange noises, he managed to beat out 150 previous challengers to become the first to brave the night in the former slave quarters.
Today, the Old Slave House has been closed down. Because of poor health, the owner, Mr. George Sisk, cannot continue the operation of the house. He tried to get the state of Illinois to step in and take over the location but negotiations are still at a stand still. The house was closed down at the end of 1996, possibly never to reopen.
A few years ago, I asked Mr. Sisk if he believes that the house is haunted. He told me that he never goes to the attic and if he does for some reason, he leaves as soon as possible. He has never encountered a ghost in the house. . .but his wife hasn't been so lucky. She refuses to set foot in the former slave quarters.

This is called Mansfield Reformatory. Its an old prision that is located in Ohio. If I am not mistaken this is where the movie Shawshank Redemption was filmed. It also was filmed in music videos such as Godsmack's awake video and Marilyn Mansons muic video. There are a few more movies there were filmed here also.
they offer ghost hunts and tours for people. There have been cases of seeing people.. hearing strange noises, some even have brought equipment to use and it wouldnt work. People have also felt things and having doors open for them.
I really really want to check out this place this year. It is a very active place. Thw website has virtual tours and tells you a history of the prision. I am doing everything I can to check this place out this year!!
when i was an infant my mom was meditating, and said a dark cloaked figure came out of the closet and walked towards her, past my cribe, she prayed to god and it went away, later on a phsycic said it was my father, she also said she saw an angel playing a harp or a horn at the edge of my grandmothers bed...keep in mind i was like 5 when she told me this so it freaked me out..my friend also said he saw a man down stairs in his house, his dog was loooking at the man, then the guy went left....he went down stairs there was noone there, his mom was in the basement for like 20 minutes and she was the only other person in the house, but what s creepy is the man was walking in the direction of the room that he was in when he died, it was my friends grandfather who died in that room a while before..
I have had almost a similar experience.. When I was young about 5. I was asleep in my bed. Something woke me out of my sleep. I looked at my doorway and there stood a women about 5'6 in a white dress with long hair. She glowed. She was beautiful. I called out mom and she put her finger over her lips and was gone. She never came into my room. She never scared me. Both my parents seen different figures in the hallway inbetween the bed rooms. They each resembled a member in the family. Except the lady that came to my door. After that I don't recall seeing her again. I wish I did though. She gave me an amazing feeling of peace that night.
fasinating... What a great read. If anywhere is going to be haunted that attic sounds like a good place. Poor people that must of suffered great ordeals in that house. you won't be catching me in there thats for sure.. Uncle Bob, what a great charactor he'd make for a story.... *bravo*
We have a lot of castles in Ireland and one in particular where the headless guardman roams at night! Stay at your peril!
LOL Emmy......what castle is this?...i might want to visit it when i visit Ireland =)
The biltmore in Miami freaks me out. Under all that prestige lies a very dark secret. I would love to figure out what goes on in the thirteenth floor.
Urban legend , or not..it's still interesting.
darkness, my lovely, you have saved the threads. You're the best *hearts;

DANVERS STATE HOSPITOL
DANVERS
An abandoned lunatic hospital perched on a hill north of Danvers, Massachusetts, on New England Interstate 95. From the highway, automobile occupants can look up at the foreboding tree-shrouded silhouette of Danvers State, one of the most mysterious landmarks in our region.

I'd just like to say that it's nice to finally find something worth spending the time to read, here. I just wish my connection was good enough to follow all of these tasty links.
Oh...and I think my pants are haunted. But I don't have a link to post for that. Sorry.
AAAAHHHHHHAAA Damn you Jason ... y'r too funny and uh y'r a pup since when do you need pants LOL everyone can see what you got when you walk away >;^}
MMMUUWWAAAHHHAAA
psst yeah this was a bump
Darkness.... when you visit Ireland.... can you pack me in your suitcase? :)
Err I dunno what to say I've had quite a few experiences including photographing orbs i the house I live in I'd say there was a presence here but it doesn't seem harmful I do beleive but I wasn't there to see what happened so I can't say either way about the tape might go see for myself one of these days
My god this is one of the best threads I have ever read in my life...
I grew up with ghosts, my grandfather owned a large house, very large house and I lived in it for years. Every night there would be "people" walking up and down the stairs, there was a dark imprint on the ceiling (body shaped) right over my bed. People would take photos in the house and when the film was developed there would be whispy forms and even actual people in the photos that no one knew nor had they actually seem them in person. I loved that house and I still do. I don't have much of a fear for spirits like my other friends. sometimes it feels like they raised me, when I was alone or scared something seemed to be there for me.
But I have more freaky stories and such, not involving that house but the house where I moved to about 8 years ago. I'm glad to get out of that damned place there was something seriously wrong with it.
now that i think back to my childhood....um i think my old house in cuba was haunted.....at night i would sleep with my grandparents in one of the houses that we had and the bathroom light would always be on because i would get scared when i had to go do #1 lol
but i always saw someone standing next to the door of the bathroom like a shadow of a person only it had no feet.it was weird ....thats why my grandma always had to hold my hand when i had to go.
i dont know if this is why little kids are afraid of going to the bathroom at night hence why they need a night light...but that shadow of a person with no feet, ill never forget that....plus my dad and grandma used to be into all that necromancy and obscure stuff...you think that might have something to do with that? ha!
oh and the fact that my house in cuba was built on top of a swamp where a couple of dead bodies were found back in the 1940's...supposedly rebels killed by fidel or his hitmen or something....
*this needed put back where it belonged, there should be a Hall of Fame area for some posts.. and this one would definatly be there!!!!*
Nice to see this thread get bumped.
Unfortunately, it's not my pants that are haunted. It's my boxers.
hey!!!.... take a look at this ...tres much info etc about haunted Britain ...YAY!!!
http://www.mysteriousbritain.co.uk/hauntings/hauntingstemplate.html

Here is a link to an abandoned hospital they are studying:http://www.researchwebcam.com I have seen things in there, mostly camera 4. Late on Sat. nights they have a sitdown where the investigators sit in the dark and just see what happens.
Am I the only one craving to watch EITHER VERSION of House on Haunted Hill right now?
O_o
Khay, sorry.

okie i found more EVPs for those that are into it.
http://www.mysterymag.com/audio/
it is like an online library for EVPs from haunted places in Britain, although you have to register to be able to listen to them, i think it's pretty cool. The website has other information as well so if you want go check it out. pretty cool stuff =)

http://www.chillingham-castle.com/
At first a 12th century stronghold, Chillingham became a fully fortified Castle in the 14th century. Steeped in the Nation's history we occupied a strategic position during Northumberland's bloody border feuds, often besieged and often enjoying the patronage of royal visitors.

Lady
Tankerville's
Encounters
We have a number of ghosts. The most famous is the "blue boy" who as midnight rang out would cry and moan in agony or maybe fear. The noises could be traced to a spot near a passage cut through a ten foot wall.
When the bloodcurdling wails die away a soft halo of light appears around an old four poster bed. Anyone sleeping there, even today, can see the figure of a young boy dressed in blue, and surrounded by light. Behind the wall the bones of a young boy and fragments of blue clothing were discovered.
Another ghost, Lady Mary Berkeley, searches for her husband, who ran off with her sister. Lady Mary, desolate and broken hearted lived in the castle by herself with only her baby girl as a companion. The rustle of her dress can be heard as she passes you by in the turret stairs. But there are more!
A visit to Chillingham Castle is certainly worth a visit and better a stay. If you dare.
(its givng me goosbumps just looking at the place)
..I was just looking at that site Dhampir..
I am sure you will experience a bump or two in the night .....*giggles*

I can't believe you people are making light of this. My friggin drawers are haunted my a malevolent spirit and all you can do is make premie jokes!
Ok let's get back on track here shall we ..
Uhm Jason, do you hear any funny noise's when this happens, I mean have you tried to make a recording of what takes place any funky talking or ghostly sounds???
Ok, no seriously ... There was/is a factor back in Georgia where I used to live, and no I don't know if this has been documented, I’ve not had a chance to look into it, only know what I see and even I'm skeptical .. but anyway's ... I believe the story goes that supposedly in this factor the original owner of it years ago hung himself from the rafters, I think due to financial problems .. but anyhow at night you can go there and there are different lights on in the back of the building. Now this building is empty / vacant completely has been off and on over the years. Last Halloween my friend, her kids and I decided to go check it out. I sat in the car while they went to try and see in the windows (which are all either very dirty or frosted glass). Not to mention you'd have to stand on someone’s shoulders to see into them, so I didn’t' bother trying. But while they were looking I keep seeing funky shadows in the light. Then on the outside of the building in the oldest portion (the original building has been added onto over the years) This outside light in a very, very old rusted out light fixture kept flickering off and on. As the only other light on anywhere around the building was an timed parking lot light, this seemed a little freaky, but at the same time could have just been a fluke in the fixture and it was supposed to stay on. The part that kinda freaked me the most was the inside lights being on ... as I said this is an old abandoned factory and had been emptied out last about 9 months to a year prior, so you wouldn't think there would be a need for any lights to be on, not to mention the strange shadows..... But again I don' know that this place has been documented or not, I should look into it more and find out about the history of it.
Who0ps... lol I didnt mean to link the whole story.. lol well if you click it you will just go to the page.. lol
moonie u funny girl u *hugs*

Ooo thatll be awesome moonie!
plkease do share with us here, im sure many of us will enjoy what you have to show of the place...*does excited dance*
you r0k!
cant wait..
the place where john dillenger was shot is haunted. in chicago, ILL. they say that you can see his ghost coming from the theater. chicago is filled with haunted places. the river is haunted cause of a really bad accident that killed tons of people. i forget. i saw it on the travel channel.
i often feel hands on my body. people touch me. i don't know who they are. but i am touched.
I think that a place can hold htings that have happened there, and I htink its this repression over the years which is the problems that houses and buildings experience. there are too many things that we cannot understand, and they cannot all be explained away by the superior technology that we percieve ourselves as having.
I always believed that regardless fo where you die, if you have a special attachment to a place or a thing, for are going to have the longing (even after death) to be there. Whether it is a good place to be or not. It all depends on your emotional strings and where they are tied.
LOL Jason....call a 1-800 number or something they should exorcise (sp?) your boxers lol
;)
anyway,
I was just wondering if anyone had any recent sites they would want to share so that others could visit. or any experiences dealing with this topic they would want to share.
thanks =)
♥
thanks to this thread i had to update my player! lol *ok listens*
the first sounded fake to me too, and the bless you could've been anyone. I tend to not get too carried away by autotapes because you never know who is doing what just to try and get paranormal attention.
*bump*
I thought this would be a good post now, since we have new people who can possibly know more haunted places.
->Addition:
A Cementery that shall not be mentioned.
By where I live there is a cementery with restless souls who lay above ground and have laid above ground for a couple of decades. There is high supernatural activity there and it makes your head spin and go haywire. These souls are angry and try to drain you whether it be emtionally or physically.
I certainly DONT recommend this plce for a visit, but for those who live for the thrill of the chase and obscure....contact me for directions (cuz i sure as hell aint taking you there. ive had my fix of adventure in cementeries thanks LOL).
**more to come with re-search**
post away! ;)
Ii have had numerous experiences with haunting, posession, and general ghost hunting.
Ii have taken several pictures in the past that have ghosts in them. One such incident, I took a photo of a horse. When the picture came back the horse was there but so was a transulent image of an old cowboy. Very creepy.
The town Ii live in seems to be a mecca for all things supernatural. There is a series of books called haunted indiana. It lists all places in indiana that have been proven to be haunted as well as those mythed and non proven. In my home town of Richmond, there exists a plot of land that was owned by a farmer in the early 1900's. The handy man of this farm is responssible for the deaths of at least 28 kids. This time every year we go and visit the kids. The handy man also shows his face and does his best to keep us away. This piece of land crawls with negative energy, bad spirits, and all those nasty things of the night.
On several trips we have brought along digital cameras, both still and motion. Each time we catch figures, or orbs, or fog that wasn't there. Several places exist like that here. The main section of town is so haunted some can feel it as they enter town from the interstate. Even the famed crybaby bridge is only a half an hour from here. Now i know every town has a "crybaby brige", but this one is fact the orginal. In camdon ohio is a prison that is hauted. It was publicised in the short lived mtv show fear. It's hauntings are so regual that people can now pay to stay in "a real life haunted prison". It really is scary as hell though.Anyone in or around Idiana should pick up these books. They are really great when you have free time to go ghost busting.
The only proves I have for my paranormal expiriences is the fact that other people heared the same things:/
But at the same time I've got to pics in my portfolio where there are strange figures....
As for haunted places there are some in Malta:)
And one of them can be my house:/.....
also, if anyone near here would like to take visit, i give guided tours of all local ghost hot spots. The one i mentioned in the last post, also shares a plot of land with the spirits of a Shawnee or Cherokee tribe. At night you can hear the fire crackle, you can also hear drum beats and sometimes make out the villiage as sort of a mirage. On one trip we were on our way to the main ground when we began to hear fast drum beats. Everyone in the group heard the drums get louder and faster. When we reached the ground we could see a full on war party being had. I decided it was time to leave. On our way back down the trail we could hear the sounds of hooves behind us, comming up very fast. As we froze to listen we could hear the full party go by on horse back, two people say they even could make out the images through the trees.
Has any one heard the song stairway to heaven played backwards? During the second verse Robert Plant speaks of satan, it's very real. Ii tried it with my own copy of the vinyl. Here is the link.

Let me know what you think.
I love to go to cemeteries and take pics of orbs and so forth. I recently visited a little untouched cemetery close to my home and took some pictures. No one ever goes there. I felt things there at this one headstone and in my pics I seen 3 faces in it. I also have one or two in my house. ONe time I seen the apparition of a little girl around 8 or 9 yrs old. I had pics of her but they mysteriously disappeared. I do have a pic of my sister I had taken and you can see some kind of energy around in my living room . Thanks for such a awesome thread hun. Love paranormal and the research. Thanks for the links as well. Enjoyed reading them.
I live in St. Louis, Missouri and we're supppsed to be on the most haunted list.... for Normandy Hospital (which is where some of the exorcist took place) and the Lemp Mansion

Something besides stupid vampires, thank god. I love hearing about haunted places, watching shows about them, visiting them..its a fascination I always had. I'm excited so I forgot what the post was supposed to be about but thanks to you for changing the forum up a bit. I believe in the paranormal.

wow creepy i didn't believe it untill i herd the sound clip
I do believe in that whole ghost talk (I forgot what it's called...EVP?). I've got websites where you can watch live recordings of haunted places... if I could just find my book with the websites... but there are many places to be sought ^-^
There are threads about EVP....you might want to look into it within the FORUM searches.

If anyone is ever in Iowa (it really does happen sometimes lol) a great authentically haunted place to check out is the Villisca House in Villisca, Iowa. In 1912 two adults and six children were bludgeoned to death by an ax. They never found the murderer. The place is pretty charged with wierd energy and I think that you would feel it even if you didn't know what had happened there. It was a rental for quite a long time but the current owners have renovated it so it is as it was in 1912 ( no electricity, when you are there you only have lamplight and they only recently added a working bathroom in the barn outside of the house, before they added it you only had an outhouse to use while you were there). Anyway, here is the link for anyone interested..

I have never heard of the place.. lol and I clicked on the topic assuming that someone has misspelled "Winchester"... eh, I just can't understand why most people can't spell topic titles correctly.
