some of u know how busy i am...
4 the other: i got a lot of works to finish till next wednesday(hope i can finish in time!)i hardly can find time 4 myself, which i use on the rave and many others...
my question comes: how do u deal with that kind of pressure: so lil time to do soo much job...
one day one task at a time, theres only so much time in a day..and i all ways make time for myself.it keeps the mind clear. so i get done with what i get done for tomorrow is another day
Actually, I work better when I am under pressure. Like my brain works faster. When I have too much time, I feel like don’t want to work…
Im not good at dealing with it.
Although i dont work yet, Im a student in the graduation year....And I know that feeling because Im in that hurry yet for two weeks, and they wont end till the end of july...
Well, but I try to manage it by making some time schedules, they ussually work, because I used to deal with it like- " Dont worry I still have time left"...and then it was horrible stressing ..... u know what I mean.
I know how much pressure oyu are under, but I do agree that taking one problem at a time, instead of letting them all jumble up into one unsolvable mess, is the best way.
I work better under pressure, and always leave htings to hte last minute :-) butr that is simply the way I am.
Do remember to take time out to yourself, or you will simply get stressed and be unable to do anything properly.
Good luck hunny.

Have to agree with the general theme here ob1 jus take it one prb at a time and don't focus on the negative i.e "Oh sh*it I gotta do this that and the other" focus more on "Right I got to do this then that then this then am all done and can crack open a cool one and relax" hope that helps :)
i just try and pace myself. never try to get a head of yourself because you can spin outa control pretty quickly adn it ain't pretty when you land. just try to pace yourself and take a break when you need it!!
trying to make more than 1 step as a time is a sure way to fall, lol!
my problem is, i got just 1 giant step to do, kinda 30 pages paper to type in 10days with hardly ideas to write 10...
it sounds like my week this week...i know the feeling...i hit the most importain one first...the in order of importace *smiles*hope that helps
Just try to get work done asap and then have time for yourself, that's my strategie.
Sometimes I tend to get a bit bitchy when I am under a lot of pressure. And I start snapping at people, but then I realize what I am doing and stop and look at what all is causing it and when I realize it's the pressure, I will try then to prioritize what is most important, and work on what I can accomplish quickly to get it out of the way. Then I am able to focus on the bigger things one at a time.
i used to be a gymnast, i went 5 times a week 4 1/2 hours everyday. SO my scheduel back in the day was 1 school 2 gymnastics from 4 to 8:30 3 home and it was like that for 3 more weekdays and then once on saturday. It was overwhelming and i couldn't get my school work done i was always tired. I was always a bitch, so what i did was in that short hour i had before i had to go to the gym was do something for myself that i really liked just for a little bit and somehow it made things a lot easier cuz at least i was having fun for a little. I tell ya gymnastics was not fun after level 7!
i could never make the so little time so much to do thing work out. I eventually quit the gym so i could get better grades. I think i lost my motivation and drive to work hard. That's something u defiently need to have in that situation. Never give up!
i''m starting to wonder what happened to the good threads. Pressure? How does this correlate to anything?
Perhaps pressure should be placed upon VR members to post more relevant threads...
What ever happened to seeking out substantial information?

ok, sorry.. this is just me projecting my "pressure" to seek improvement. :]
please continue to your regularly scheduled chatter. *static *

i guess u just gotta learn to take it slow. focus on one thing at a time, and relax, stress could end up killing you.
I agree with blackswan up there. If I don't have a deadline, I feel like bein lazy and not doing my work. I love being busy.
I deal with it like this: I work till I'm very close to collapse and when I can't hadle it anymore I unplug all the phones and everything that could bother me and sleep for two days! When I wake up I play Bloodlines or K.O.T.O.R.2 the whole day and after that I'm fresh as a rose in the morning! :)
easy...prioritize and focus.....
simply focus and finish the task at hand....
then play afterwards
the more effort you put into thinking about the stressload, the less you get done.
sometimes when i'm stressed i think to myself "is this really going to matter 20 years from now?"
and really, most things are trivial.
this work must be given next wednesday...
i'll be over then, 4 the best or the worst...
i'll b freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
like in hollidays!
able to think about intelligent stuff again(at last)!
The way I deal with is it work through all my tasks as patiently as possible and try to keep my stress level under control, then when it's over and I finally have time to myself, I treat myself to something good, something I've been wanting or wanting to do.
I try real hard to take it one day at a time but when it gets really tough. I just stop and make myself take atleast one hour for myself. No one else and no work.
At the end of it all (well as far as my beliefs go) we only have one life, and that life should be appreciated for what it is; full of ups and downs.
my best advice is to prioritize. Put everything down in a list of what needs to be done. Then number them in accordance to an order of importance. No need to spread yourself too thin. You are only one person and you are not a superhero (at least not that we are aware of ::winks::) Don' t stress so over the small stuff.
"budget the luxuries first"
thats the key to a good marriage and more so to a good life be it time or things more substantial
fortunatelly i am not married yet:-) but i am pretty a lot under the pressure and it sucks...sometimes i m putting me by myself-i shouldnt but when i see how many things i should manage to do and then i realize that i dont have time for it-panic!!!if just a day had 30 hours...
If the days had more hours you would then add more stuff to do and you would still be under pressure.
well, that depends, sometimes i work really well under pressure. Other times I get so annoyed at every little thing that goes wrong in the day. I deal with it by just taking about 10 minutes. sit in a dark room with nothing going on just silence and don't think almost go into a meditative state. then usually i feel better and not as annoyed and I can get things done
I think that we all learn how to deal with the pressures of life and probably in all different ways. I am, as it turns out more productive and efficient when under pressure. I sometimes feel like I am going to lose it, though when the pressure doesn't show any signs of easing up. I wish there was a quick release valve to release some of the pressure when it builds that high.
last line now...
only 1 thing left to do...
type like a fool on my keyboard to reach the 30pages soon enough to have them corrected, printed and linked up b4 monday april 25th...
don't know exactly what to tell now...
won't have much time to spend in there this week...
Good luck ob1, and I hope things work out for you. We all have our down times, and it sounds from what oyu have told me that oyu are in one of those, ut if you put your mind to it (which it sounds lie you are doing) then you can make the best out of anything thats thrown at you :-)
