The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I know a lot of people collect vampire stuff. books, music, movies, posters, etc. But what would be the elements of a COOL collection. ElderDaniel and I, together have a good sized collection of nearly everything, giving eclectic a whole new meaning.

What kind of stuff do you have in your collection that stands out the most or should have?

i worked on a vampire film, that is yet to be released. but i have most of the costumes and a few of the props.

I have only one item in my collection that is a Sword that has slain at least 200 vampires and lycin alike, the true sword of a slayer.

I collect swords knives daggers axes.....any medieval weaponry....and I make a point of learnig to use those in my collection.....not really vamp related...
but it's what I collect..I also collect souls...
I have 8 contracts signed in blood....payment due upon death...odd what some people can be convinced to sign....

Apart from movie memorablia, my prize is a suit of armor I aquired while I was stationed in Europe worn by the members of the Order of The Dragon, from which Vlad the Impaler received the name Dracul

i have a small wooden coffin that i keep all my vampire related novels in

no its not a childs coffin, i had it made for my books

Nothing special. it's mainly books. and only one or two Anne Rice novels. I love to read.

I have a growing collection of vampire-related handbags and backbacks though. Coffin-shaped, bat-related, vampire-inspired, ect.

i have a blade 2 movie box that was sent to only a thousand movie rental places with the screener copy of the movie

I also have the complete Midnight massacre series by Marvel comics, where our freindly 'daywalker' (ha!) Blade goes on a mad rampage killing all his vampire freinds...I like that one...recommended, even if the end is a bit lame...

I had a DVD which was enfused with the spirirt of a centuries old vampiress from eastern europe, but I saw Ringu and ditched it quick sharp...

...my masks...yes, I like my masks....Not quite the same quality of that of Empress, but I am always on the lookout...

gave my sword away...it wanted to eat children...can't have that...very odd...

apart from my stories and poetry...the rest is the usual white wolf literature...

Vampires have an extrem sense of obsession and they usually store a lot of things........therefore is not about keeping a collention on vampire related objects or things is about how they see things

I don't really collect anything vampiric on purpose. If it is an interesting book that happens to be about vampires I'll get it, or a cool poster. I'm more into wolves, but vampirs are extremely cool.

I collect swords, knives, and vampire books.

Together Elderdaniel and I have filled a huge wall unit of vampire books. It's nice. Somehow we need another shelf unit now. Our favorite I think is our "blood angel" from Michael Linsner, we had him autograph it when we met him in person. We just had her custom framed and will be our focal point at Nocturnes Ball.

My other favorite piece is our Dracula Castle 3D puzzle we still haven't worked on yet, *sigh. The cutest one is a 'dracula' bubble gum ball. He's in his own little square acrylic box, and everything about him is edible. *giggle.

Then there's Dawn, my sword under my bed. She was used by one of my house members, a million years ago, and she was given to me as a sign of deep respect. She's kept me safe during the darkest hours.

I love everyone's responses. It's amazing what we collect, aware of it or not.

Good thread, no one's arguing. *soft chuckle.

Oh and the last thing, Dan and I are bringing out of our own home, into Nocturnes ball pieces of our own collection on display. We are thinking two large coffins, and we'll still manage to have a lot of stuff at home.

for me, it's not so much that i collect things, but that i never throw anything away...

well vampries colect blood as such.. i have done much to collect my own... mmhmm

well there are those who collect blood vials and pictures and other tools are always nice to have around

i dont have a very big collection of anything, but all the things i do collect i like very much and consider all of it to be cool. if i didnt think it was cool i would have it as part of my collection.

My collection consists of computer games, video games, rarely movies, but books (about Vampirism) and some ankhs.

Half bat half fish! LMAO yeah it was taxedermy? or whatever in the early 1900's for a circus prop, I named him lefty cause his tail is plaqued in the left position. I've made a crossbow of the chinese mechanisim's, looks like something out of Dracula 2000, that's what inspired me. Got a sculpture of a woman with vampire teeth from a romanian ship that was asailin the 1700's that I picked up in an antique shop in Louisville. Got an old spanish book with a story explaning the order of the dragon from Vlad, It's from the late 1800's. I collect a lot of junk? Who knows, Thinking of making a coffin table soon out of left over pallet jacks. HMMMMM?

O yeah I saw a lot of people interested in weaponry, I don't know the correct address? But go to search engine and look under( sands of time antiques) great weaponry and jewlrey from achiological sites from around the world. Spreading the info! ;)

Vampires are not interested in weapons as people usually think, they're more interested in paitings for some reason they feel identified with them

Bloodthirst.. As a vamprie can not see there reflection and don't do photo's this would explain their love for art.. as in QOTD, the paintings are captured memories...

I have a large collection of swords,silver bullets*never know when i might need them eh* ,i have a coffin that i made i use it to scare the hell out of new people and some amulets some i made some i bought

I have also begun collecting skulls....not those cheesy pored resin things....real ones....at the moment I have a coyote, a cat, two birds, and half of a snakes skull....
I would love to get a human one.....perhaps from a medical supplier.....for research studies....
and I have an antique turtle shell that is in the process of becoming a shamanic rattle....

I have muti-ankhs, movies, a celtic scull, a dragon scull, a gargoyle, blood red roses, and so much more... I dont know if that is all "vampirelike" but I enjoy it...

I tend to collect many things but mostly...I collect movies and anything that has to do with wolves. I also collect old things I guess I just value history. I have a large collection of scars but not because I want them.

i collect movies and mummifed animals that i find under old houses...
i have a cat(my pride and joy), three rats, two birds, a lizard(mainly its skeleton and a bat.

ankhs, crosses, candles (does it count?) and yes, books, movies and music.

i have all the annie rice books all the blade movies both of the annie rice movies, a movie called razorbladesmile, underworld and more, i collect what ever movies i can find.

I collect things I find that seem to remind me of vampires, I have a bunch of rusty nails. Knives and old wineglasses, and black velvet dresses.

I collect scrimshander. In addition to those carved bone statues, I have bone runes.

Comix...Mainly 2000AD (the daddy of brit comics) and Marvel (I love you Stan, I hate you hollywood.) with a sprinkling of DC, independants and Manga.
