yes i do believe that they are a gateway to ones soul and having seen into the eyes of one that is willing you to look , is even better, for you see the true nature of ppl thru them.

eye's are strange things. eyes look at eyes and see changing circles. a black hole getting bigger and smaller. with a chunk of colour. doesn't seem like much.

the movement of eyes, the speed of the looking process and the focus change all make eyes lock. lovers eyes lock all the time. you're looking at the things they are looking with. pretty close

as for being windows to the soul. how can you believe in something that isn't proven? i know the whole faith thing. but why believe in something that might be false.

the eyes are special. but i don't think anyone can explain why. maybe it's a brainular glitch that we find them fascinating... who knows?

Hehe I guess so.I look at the eyes first whenever I meet someone new, especially of the opposite sex:P But I don't think they're exactly the windows of the soul.
Still people tell me that I look bored when in reality am having fun,I donno maybe I have boring eyes lol.

Most definately, how else would someone go about learning more about one person, just by looking at them? You can't go and look at someone's feet, that would be pretty weird though... lol

Eyes are such a common way of expressing emotion, and they are the main device from our own view of interpreting the world around us. I think thats why honesty can be seen through the eyes, just like when a person is hiding something.

I really do see the eyes as a window to what we are and who we are, and thats why I find it so important to have eye contact with people.
