I posted a thread called Vampirism Condition..... but I got a response and so I want to know more.....
Is it just the beliefs that make you a vampire..... is it the medical..... what is it that would truely make you one.... or is it just a state of mind....
I have but little time left to live...... and welll mystical medical or not..... What truely makes you vampiric of any nature
LXM,I'm sorry to hear that.
May I ask what you're suffering from?
In the real world, vampires are people, special people,I suppose.
But,still people.
We are not Nosferatu (Undead).
Some of us possess certain mental gifts.
However, there are non-vampires who also are gifted in this manner.
Perhaps there is another answer or solution to your situation.
If you wish, message me & we'll discuss possible alternatives.
Take care,my friend.
What makes up you as a person. Desire, love, wants, needs, lust, goals.. There is so many things. These are just a small scale of it. You are who you are.
Depends on what type of vampire ur talking about...
like movie vampires... um good luck...
the vamps that drains energy ... i think thats like some dungeon and dragons stuff... if your dieing then make peace with god, and hope you did more good then bad in your life cause thats whats going to matter , what ever god you believe in lol. if no belief then hope your right and none of this will matter anyway cause you will be dead and theres nothing after.. if thats what you believe
Depends On What Vampire You Are Reffering To. But Basicly It's Just To Exist And To Be Dead To the World
Vampires feed off of humans. They are the special and gifted....
sd
there is an adogy stating that if you believe something enough, it will be. if you truely act as a vampire and do your research while NOT being a poser, then you may call yourself a vampire. in the satanist religion, it is stated that the only thing you need to do to become one, is to act accordingly. vampires depicted in the movies and horror stories are hollywood fascism and folklore. in my opinion, as long as you do not call yourself a vampire as an act of rebellion or a way to "gain attention," then you may call yourself one of the most spectacular creatures of the night.
What makes one a vampire is simply the *need* to feed. If we don't feed we can get seriously ill, and/or become very non functional and so on. It is also the taking in of energy or blood, but not just because we can, but the need to do so to maintain well being. I don't think just wanting to be a vampire does it at all, unless one already is one and just doesn't know it yet :)
Night
Every vampire is different we are all gifted in some way or another some more and some less however we are all cursed by the same token what makes you a vampire is just that ....you are or you are not ....
LXM?...I too am here if you would like to talk..message me
Well in my view it is how you and if you chose to embrace your darker state of mind and body. Things start standing out much more profoundly than others, like energy and emotions. It can be medical...but it isn't of thier choosing...mental is a more ptent entity entirely because if you believe you are what you claim well then the more likely you are to take on the role and outter persona of a vampire...I could go on but yea i'll stop here lol :P
i believe that vampirism is a state of mind and can be just a way of life......sort of like a religion but not.......get what i mean?
i believe that vampires just are, not a making of one. you cant make the earth again, but it is there, so is it with a vampire, you cant make one, this just are! just my opinion
I think Vampyrism is a state of mind above all else. I would like to try to explain my point better, but I can't think of how to put it into words. So I will just leave you at that.
LXM,
Firstly, I am dearly sorry to hear about you, and though I may be someone new to your acknowledgement, I would gladly share your predicament with you.
Secondly, the topic of discussion: What makes a vampire?
There are so many answers to such a question. What does make a vampire? Is it the need for some kind of energy, whether it is blood or some other form? Or is it the act of feeding off of someone, or something in some cases, to obtain nurishment or to sate one's hunger?
As far as I can see, you can take your pick of the litter, because there are hundreds, even thousands of answers to your question. But, as everyone seems to be going with the more mainstream idea of vampires and vampirism, I might as well jump off the bridge as well; but I would like to speak with you personally, so that we may discuss the other options we have for such a discussion as the one you have started.
Vampires, as seen today, are considered to be pale, blood-drinking revenants, humans come back from the dead to feed on the blood of the living. Hollywood has obviously taken to this concept and has added to it. The inscurtable powers that it gives to the vampire race is so totally blown out of proportion, we no longer have the ability to tell fact from legend from Hollywood gobildy goop.
In the older countries, vampires were beings who fed on the blood of humans at night and could not go out in the sun, were avoidant of religious or holy items, and most "importantly", garlic.
The garlic and religious items such as crosses and holy water were said to be used as protection from the vampire, causing serious pain or harm if the vampire touched or ingested such items. In some cases, they could be used as weapons, along with the classic stake through the heart.
Though Hollywood has clouded the minds of millions upon millions of minds with their rubbish, there is some truth in what they provided as vampire "truth". Depending on the vampire, some may be able to walk in the sunlight, have a religion like Christianity, and even ingest garlic, and the such.
However, the most common use of the word and being "vampire", is that of the blood sucker who can only walk at night, and has the aforementioned weaknesses. Despite the many lies and legends that fly around, it really is up to you to decide what makes a vampire a...well...a vampire.
I hope I have helped to clear up anything that may have been cloudy. And LXM, message me so that we may talk more in depth about this subject, I know a lot more than I can put here.
Nykl Dormir.
1.5 lbs of ground beef
1 cup diced onion
0.5 cup diced green pepper
o.25 cup fat or drippings
2 cups canned kindey beans
1 cup diced celery
2.5 cans of tomatoes
2 teaspoons of salt
0.5 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
0.5 garlic clove, minced
Pressure cook then simmer.
This will make one vampyric vamp!
And make one feel really good. :D
It goes without saying that the clothes you pick, the walking stick you carry and the women one chooses all contribute to making a vampire
i really want to avoid a long post here, i hate when people post 10 pages of script.....all I can say is for you to please refer to my profile I have dedicated it to answer just this question....msg me after you read it ...I may hae what your looking for.
You know when you are a vampire by the way you have always felt your entire life. Set aside from the world, different from others, you long for things that ordinary people would think insane. You like what you like and there is no reason just you like it. So do what makes you happy live life as if there was no tommorrow. Don't be one when you die that has a list of things you always wanted to do and never did. Do them while you can embrace everything as if you will never do it again. Peace be with you. May darkness keep you safe.
It's a state of mind. Your mind has more power sleeping then you will have awake. If you believe it possible then you can have it. Most don't believe and therefore lose it.
An excellent point you make LordHellfire. I agree with, on one thing. Some capture the moment, while others embrace it.
Personally, one who chooses to embrace the darker side of the world and their life can be seen as vampiric, or of similar qualitive creatures of the night kind. Those forced into accepting what they are, often turn out like bad seeds, Gnarls and the such(Gnarls are a lesser species of vampire; any questions about this or other things, please message me). Or they could turn out like Louis de Pointe du Lac, a self-hating individual who sees himself/herself/itself as a monster. But you do make a good point, nonetheless.
I think what makes a person a sang vampyre is the need for blood. Desire for it means nothing. It all boils down to wants and needs.
it is both medical and a state of mind along with the loss of faith
i don't think that can truely ever be answered. yes, some people have valid points but they don't answer your question. so im not going to try and give you an answer because i believe there is none.
Considering the term 'Vampyre' is being considered litterally AND metaphoricly, you can bend and break any piece of knowledge you wish to call yourself vampyre, and thus declare it anything but sacred.
As I've understood 'vampyrism' is the entire belief structure around vampires, including its pointless fanatics.
Therefore, ... let me try and categorize things a little.
1) Hollywood Vampire - Most litterally, the kind of vampire portrayed in the movie. In other words, a vampire impressionist who dressed up and acts like one, and bases the image off of Hollywood lore.
2) Sanguine Vampire - A vampire who craves the taste and sustinence of blood. ... No further definition.
3) Psychic Vampire - A vampire who consumes ones energy via the astral plane, either by projecting, dreamwalking, or relative means. Can also attack someone psychicly.
4) Metaphoric Vampire - An individual who is simply someone who has felt darkness in their lives and out of facination, calls themself vampire in substitute for 'goth'.
5) Full-blooded Vampire - Being a category more skeptic than Sanguine, this one can be considered a "kind in its own". The extent of its capabilities are lost in translation, myth, and even existance. Very possibly, those who claim and brag that they are full-blooded are pathetic liars to their very tounge. ... If you indeed are, you needn't say anything to prove yourself.
6) Roleplayer/Delisional Non-Vampire - Not a vampire, and are usually found bending knowledge to fit their impulses. They also defend their motives with their belief and statment that vampirism is fake anyways. Can be related to Hollywood and Metaphoric.
7) Slave/Familiar - Considered to be a human/mortal made slave to vampire. The name is coined from 'Blade', but can be substituted with just... 'slave'. Either they actually found real vampires and are working to become one, or they mistakenly came across real vampires and have been impressed into servitude against will.
8) Integral Non-Vampire - Someone who indulges in the darker side and observes 'vampyrism' and its 'patrons' with a well controlled interest. They might indulge in Hollywood or Metaphoric activities, but to a moderate level that is unprovokative to simply being human. Some may go into extensive understanding, wanting to provide as much logic to the concept as possible. ... Some may even be found typing up an 8 bulliten list of what defines a vampire. O.o!
...
Rly tho. I'm still open to being incorrect in any of these, but this simply what my own understanding is.
... Didn't mean to kill the mood. lol
Fact is, this community is a mix of all of these I believe, and everything is lost to assumption and confusion between what does and does not make a vampire.
Well, obviously, like everything else in life, there are several different views. You need to find your beliefs in that spectrum and go from there, really. You could look at the Webster's dictionary definition, or the Vampiric religion's definition, or your own. :)
Right you are, MeowMix LP. There truly are many answers to such a question and none at all at the same time. Your own beliefs dictate the outcome of such an observation and inquiry.
Look for yourself in your own eyes,
learn with it,that makes to it.
Well I would start off saying Im sorry to hear that your time here is short. I feel that what makes you a vampire is many things. It could be a thing that happens at birth or a beleif. It could be a calling or a lust. It could be a medical condition. Many people practice and many people have there own oppinions. Thats why we have places like this to learn and be able to express ourselves and not be judged by others who dont understand.
Its a belife a state of mind and a way of life.........To make you a vampire you don't have to be bit or anything like that as long as you drink blood well at least thats the def. for it......But i think that as long as you follow it and belive that it is true than it is and you are.
Well said FallenXAngel, I agree with you...to a degree. But by all means, you are correct, and should be applauded for your insight, as well as everyone else with an opinion. Everyone is neither right nor wrong; you are right in your belief of the topic, and no one's opinion matters unless you believe they do.
I believe you can be what you want to be..it is a state of mind and for those of you who do have medical problems it is a need, a way of life..
I agree with darkie actually.
I mysellf am a sanguine, without blood, I am sicker then a dog.I pass out, get dizzy and medically I can even die, in the real world, they call this anemia, in the underground, its a sanguine. take it as you want, in the real world, its black and white, and only a couple shades of grey.
Vampires are vampires because they have a vampiric soul. They are mortal, human flesh, but they have something within them that makes them a vampire. There is a DISTINCT difference between a blood drinker and a vampire.
A vampire generally personifies their inner nature as a "beast" or a "thirst" or a "hunger" because it can literally feel as it if crawls around, just below the surface of the skin. There are problems often with mental instabilities from repression of this sorta duality within them. It's a hard thing to come to terms with. It both is and is not separate from them. It's a singularity of the duality; as I said, a bit like a symbiotic existence.
A vampire has a permanent emptiness within. It demands to be filled regularly with blood or energy. It is required to be "whole" and "complete." Sorta like the only way a harmony is achieved; that symbiosis - is through feeding. More regular feeding keeps the vampire in harmony. Infrequent feedings cause disruption leading to weakened state leading to mental degradation and repressed immune system. (a vampire does not die from lack of blood, but rather, from a disease or infection as a result of the weakened immune system as a result from lack of blood)
When in harmony, a vampire is a very powerful creature. They exist in the night in an almost mythical reality. They are simply at home in it. Many can feel when night comes because the change in their perception is that distinct. They also do gain a poise and a grace with their harmony. It just has a price.
A vampire is always a vampire. There is no "cure" for it. One can certainly stop feeding and attempt to make dormant their inner nature, but it never goes away. Never. Why? Because you can no more will your soul away and still be you then can a vampire carve out their nature and still be them.
Is it possible for a vampire to make a non-vampire into a vampire? Yes, but with a large but...it involves, in brief, a permanent sacrifice of part of the vampire's soul and the merging of it into the 'human' recipient. The vampiric nature must them override the soul there and force it into it's path. The then-made vampire would poses a vampiric nature, but only in part. They, having not been born that way do not share the same exact existence as one who is. (they suffer from much worse energy needs with very little of the 'powers' as a benefit) It is simply the most dangerous and fool hearty thing that can be attempted. Most often it results in permanent mutilation, insanity, and even death in both the vampire and the 'human' because it is that drastic a change. The vampire is losing part of their very soul to undertake the process and the human is attempting to alter their own. It's a hellish concept and one that very very few true vampires even know how to do.

luscioubbygrl,
You are right on a number of things, especially dealing with the "making" of a nightbreed. The specifics of how to do this however are usually taught by a vampire's sire when the "pupil" is preparing to bring an individual over to the other side of existence.
I could post my understanding of the process of the "making" of a new vampire, but I do not feel comfortable sharing such information, from my own knowledge stores/experience in such a public form. If someone REALLY wants to know what I know, you'll just have to talk with me personally(i.e. messages, etc.).
BillytheJust, that recipie sounds absolutely yummy, a deffiante must try.
As for the question, What makes a vampire is individual, and in the eye of the beholder. Hollywood has planted ideas in poor peoples little heads, but it is up to you. what do you think makes a vampire? that is what counts to you.
Well we are people.. But i think it goes with our souls.. kinda what we believe in but also what society or coven we feel most comfortable in. I am not a expert. but i felt the need to spill my insight to you.
Well I think its all the above. Some its medical some its a way of life a choice. Some its a facination. Some truly beleive they are born that way. Im sorry to hear your time here is short but I hope you find everything your looking for and all the answers you need.
Yeah there are conditions which display the same traits as so called Vampirism but how much proof is there that Vampires actually exist in day to day life?
Don't you think if some guy was going round at night killing random people in one area in a suspicious way, ie no blood at the scene and funny puncture marks, that the whole world might know about it?
Ok very true your comment makes sense but Im sure there drinking the blod other ways then the typical puncture marks on the neck thing. I have heard of slitting the wrists making it look like a suicide etc.
VBery true, but he could also be a fake, making himself seem like a vampire as a sorta of a tracde mark, and others like that can simply just be copy cat killers. its happened before. And your right it can be certian fasination, or maybe medical or other wise. sometimes a little bit of both. I mean in todays world, doesnt it all really come down to who and what you look liek to you peers and the people around you?
The term "vampire" is today frequently abused and misused. The usage on this thread is adjectival and not as a noun. When we speak of a vampire bat we are using the term as an adjective. Likewise, psychic vampire employs the adjectival application and not the noun which is clearly defined by the English dictionary.
See: www.gothicpress.freeserver.co.uk/What%20Is%20A%20Vampire.htm
Montague Summers explains what makes a vampire:
The vampire is one who has led a life of more than ordinary immorality and unbridled wickedness; a man of foul, gross and selfish passions, of evil ambitions, delighting in cruelty and blood. The vampire is believed to be one who has devoted himself during his life to the practice of black magic ... or for some reason is buried with mutilated rites.
I agree somewhat, but what is he basing his opinion off of? The hollywood gimick? or does he know what a real vampire is for a fact?
I mean, I usually dont believe everything I read, and that is no exception to that. just becasue one man says thats how it goes, doesnt mean thats what it is. I mean how does he know, has he met every single 'vampire' on the face of this planet. I, highly doubt that he has.
Sorry, the previous link for the dictionary definition should have read:
See: www.gothicpress.freeserve.co.uk/What%20Is%20A%20Vampire.htm
Chambers’ Twentieth Century Dictionary defines a vampires thus:
“An accursed body which cannot rest in the kindly earth, but nightly leaves its grave to suck the blood of sleeping men, [women, children et al].”
There are endless published works where innumerable cases of blood-sucking vampires, ie reanimated corpses, are cited, eg the works of William of Newburgh, Leo Allatius, Joseph Pitton de Tournefort, Joseph Ennemoser, Philip M Rohr, John Heinrich Zopfius and Dom Augustin Calmet. Plus the works of Emily Gerard, Sir John Mandeville, W R S Ralston, Sir James Frazer, Dudley Wright, Montague Summers, Peter Underwood, Devendra P Varma and Seán Manchester. The lists goes on and on. The cases of traditional vampirism also go on and on.
The ancient Egyptians believed the souls of the dead could return as vampires. And a Chaldean epic of the third millennium B.C. portrays the goddess Ishtar, who goes to the underworld to find her son/lover Tammuz, declaring:
"I will cause the dead to arise and devour the living."
yes, you have done your reasearch, but, why is it that its all 'traditional vampire'? hasnt hollywood taught use enough about ignoring tranditions and going straight for the blood hungry, seductive bastards that they are? or is everyone jsut following what they guy with the phd says?
lengends also states that babies born with teeth are vampires, unless properly burried, you will rise as a vampire, children without fathers are to die and rise as vampires.
superstion gets the best of many men.
Hollywood teaches nothing. That is just fantasyland where exploitation and money-worship reigns eternal. They're sort of vampiric the way they suck an idea dry, but they're certainly not vampires.
The real thing is foul and gross, not beautiful and glamorous. Ask any operative vampirologist whose encountered these predatory entities.
And, yes, the vampirologist Montague Summers did encounter real vampires.
vampirologist? these guiys actually live theyre fantacy meetings out in life? are you sure that none of them werent mental in any way?
im not saying that hollywood is correct, nor am i saying that it is wrong, and nor ami saying you are right or wrong. but think about it, theyre were probably a little weird in the brain anyways, and these creatures were so vile, how in the hell were these people able to realse stuff about them?
Greetings Brothers and Sisters: Bowes

im not sure vampires even exist what proof is out there to show they do
Because their is no proof they exist and proof they don't this could be argued or debated over all day.
Vampirism goes back thousands of years and will always be of occult interests. People who study it to find out the truth can bever be certain what they are doing. They meet someone who claims to be a Vampire. In reality they just use to much white foundation and shop at VampFangs.
although there are many different theroies, thoughts, and opinions on vampirism, if you truely know of them vampirism is more medical than any thing it's an alter of DNA if you wnat more info ask my clan leader Krona
I believe that it is a state of mind, and a decision of what you want to be, and that if you want to be a vampire you must take it very seriously other whise your just a poser pretending to be something.
i think it is some thing someone is born out of darkness or why else would we have fangs like vampires.
in my mind a vamp is any one/thing that feels the need and longing to feed off another in some way
i think it is just a state of mind as all the medical conditions are never rolled into 1, so that can not be the case i think it is just what someone believes
as maybe a job can be im a pressman by profession, so if i didnt work in a print shop i wouldnt be a pressman then. same can be said about vampires i think
well there is an actual condition that mimics the requirments of being a vampire how ever there is no benefit gained in it.
There are the state of mind vampires that as well show no definitive signs of gaining any sort of longevity or strength. The only relitive connection between the myths and the real world would be the stories that were born from the native american tribes that often spoke of men turned to creatures that feasted on human flesh and became more powerful almost imortal but those myths clearly do away with the romantisim of Vampires.
in the end the answer to your question of, "what makes you a vampire", would be the willingness to put your needs absolutly above the lives of others. as to say that my need for money is more important than your life, or that your life is more important than mine. one of those age old questions of "Is one human life worth more than another?"
I'm sorry to hear...Not trying to be mean...But as far as I can figure you are looking for a way to live...I have really studied on this and I have found nothing that will save you by way of becoming a vampire....If I have missed something then with all my wishes I hope you find it.
What makes you a vampire can be the medical background, an attribute of your ora, and some people yes, can be a state of mind. Usually they are anemic, and some other things that cause them to need more iron. Which is also in blood, obviously. Thats why they thirst for it. You can also inherit a vampire spirit, and when that spirit posseses you, you kindof "become" one. Also, people can be just huge fanatics and start to inherit the need to drink blood. Thats all I have for now. I wish the best and fulfilled piece of life that you have left.
im sorry to hear that if there was something i could do i would, what makes a vamp is him or her self the life style they live also a sire is reqired or a master aka mine was a female that used me,just to pass it on,but im ok with that,u will be ok i pray for your health......
count lestat
Vampires are very Special and very gifted and should not be mocked and I'm sorry to hear that you do not have long to live but the fact is that Vampires are not that much diffrent from you or me their just a little more advanced then us in just about everything the only big diffrence is that they drink blood in large amounts ware humans can not
Its a cutural thing, a spiritual thing...we are all defined by how we think and feel.
If you feel you're a vampire, you are one. I dont see how anyone can say otherwise. There is no true definition.
I think it can be a little of both medical & beliefs! I think internally, you always kinda know your different, but wether you choose to call yourself a vampire or not, that's when it comes down to your beliefs! Sorry to hear that you are not well & that your time here is short! Message me anytime if you ever want to talk!
I think that we are who we are which sounds quaint. Our desires, our goals, our gifts, but as we ponder who we are, we often discover that there may be more to be developed than we once thought. Our roots and are ancestry play a part for sure.
May your days be joyful and peaceful
Blessed Be
For me, I think that for some it is a state of mind, for others it's true. I think that it has to do with a lot people trying to discover who and what they really are. It's human nature to explore and learn about what they don't know, and want to understand.
it is quite difficult to know what makes a vampire per say.but the truth is that it depends on what you mean by vampirism.if you are a psychid vampire then that is a discussion for another time but if you are a blood drinker then that can explain.
do not be so quick to explain vampires away just yet we do exist and as far as meeting a real vampire do not hold your breath.
most vampires are solitary in nature and would rather avoid being noticed or discovered by those who wish to study us.
no we do not burn in the sunlight they are able to walk in the daylight but we just get massive headaches and our powers are dormant untill we need them,we are not allergic to garlic but if you were able to smell garlic better than that of a wolf or cate would you like the smell?
and we do not shy away from religious artifacts in truth most vampire are either catholic, christian, pagan, wiccan, satanic or whatever.
there are so many ways to explain vampires
but i think that some of us already know.
but i just want to say that it is possible to change shape as a vampire but i seriously doubt it
Well I know for a fact that its not a state of mind with me...maybe if I was a teen in this day and age it might be...because I would want to fit in, but I was in my 20's when it happened to me....I read lots of vampire books and watched movies before it happened...I just want to know why Interview with the Vampire seemed to trigger it?
the only way to be a vamyre is to have been bitten by one, just before your "death" drink their blood. then you are a vampyre. anything else is make believe.
there are people who absorb energy, walk on water, levitate, etc... they are not vampyres.
there are those who dress as vampyres and goths. they also are not vampyres.
most "real" vampyres "fly" low under the radar to avoid being seen or hunted.
you will find that the majority of so called vampires will die when their time is up on this planet.
I am sorry to hear that time for you is short.
May whatever GOD you believe in has mercy upon your soul.
I must disagree with you....since most of my life I never craved blood I just read books and watched movies...something triggered the feelings I had and they are very real...Most mundanes cannot drink blood without vomitting...because that is natural.....but I have had numerous amounts of blood at once and never even got a stomach ache....and most sanguins can do this....
I think being a vampire is not only about being bitten and having that experience, but about trully believing you are a vampire.
i think what makes a vampire is you were born to love the culture.
i think lots of dif ppl call themselfs vampires for lots of dif reasions so its hard to put a label on what makes a vamp
Possibly a need for blood. The physical appearance of a vampire cound be some genetic mix up in DNA and not mean anything
i dont think the way a vamp looks is really what makes a vamp i think the distorted face is a mockery that has been put up in to many films and shows just to make what ppl dont no about look scary
There are many people who claim to be vampires, myself included. I think there are almost as many different things that make someone know they are a vampire as there are indeviduals who are vampires. One thing I'm sure of though is that people who don't call themselves vampires are vampires to me if they drink blood regularly.
~♥~
Only socially confused people that get lost in what movies, liturature, and famous people shout out believe that. Vampires are people, they normally have surtain health aspects that show so. If it is too confusing for you, think of it as a special sinister person with a virus, if you will.
Oh I claim to be vampire.....and its not a state of mind, the way you dress or how you act...its something within your soul that tells you who you are....thats what the awakening is. Its your soul awakening your body to the fact that you take energy be it blood or psychic energy to feed off of the feel normal and alive....
Sorry to hear that your time is short.....
Personally, I agree with Darkie and think what BillytheJust suggested is worth a try :)
Other that that I think it's a state of mind.
Well from what I am told its a feeling that comes from deep in your soul and thirst and a craving that needs to be feed. I know some like myself that finds the lifestyle fascinating but a true Vamp at some point of there life know that they feel whole when they feed and practice the ways.
well I do believe you are one or not that you cannot make one yet that is just my belief.
I think very often we view vampires as superhuman, but also as a creature that must feed. In my mind this is how a vampire fits: They need more than we do. Their whole life is an addiction. They take in that which they need (blood), and that act is all consuming.
In many cultures believe that the vampirism is as real as the light of the sun, but I don't ever hear about a real vampire, i mean saw his dead body, or some skull, the believe that a vampire turn in askes when the light of the sun touch them, makes more dificult the subject,
Honestly, I believe that the vampires exist, whoever, in this days the vampirism is a state of the mind, but is all based in some history...
i believe that vampyrism is whatever you yourself make of it. people always seem to associate vampires with darkness whether it be the night or the way they dress and act. i myself believe that a vampire is just someone who needs to feed off of other people whether it be for attention, love, hate or energy. we all know a vampire.i'm sure everyone has someone in their life that will do anything good or bad to get the same end result. eg: an attention seeker will do something very nice for someone to get the praise but also do something bad to someone to feel the hate. the need to be thought about and seeked whether it be good or bad
Different vampires have different opinions as to what makes them a vampire...the lifestyle is what defines me...I do crave blood and the taste of it excites me, The sun burns my skin and causes severe pain in my eyes. I am a very dark and morbid person, but that is just who I am. As a vampire you define what makes you YOU
Depend's there are many different type's of vampire's...and very sorry to hear your ill hun...you need to talk at all im hear message me .....
Doomsday.....you seem to have the concept down pretty well....thx
"Ask any operative vampirologist whose encountered these predatory entities."
How did i know i would find this guy spouting his dictionary yet again, haven't you beaten that dead horse quite to death yet
as the these "vampirologists" it's a members only club by invite only, so basically they can make whatever claims they like, and then they back each other up in said claims, because they are the "official" source and group of experts on the subject, yet they don't let others close enough to their "research" to actually learn anything that might not go along with what they say. Their claim is that they do this to weed out the "flaky" people, seems more likely they just don't like people digging too deep into their flawed research practices and pseudo religion, like the vampire photograph he displays in his profile that any hack with photoshop could do up in about 10 minutes
I will tell you this my friend,,,, you have asked a difficult question with many factions. It is many things combined that are considered Vampiric,,, and there are many different types of Vampires. So look inside yourself and decide what makes you a vampire. What do you possess that makes you different and unique. Rest in the knowledge that you will return again to this world,,,, but before you do,,, ask the master spirits to give you knowledge of such things.
I think this answer is simple a vampire needs 2 feed! or gets adicted to eather mdrinking or draning bloor or energy
i read somewhere that vamps are like witches that die and their souls aren't ready to leave our world yet..so they feed on other bodies to keep their own sustained...
and in Blade movies..its kinda like a virus or something...
many people have different views on vampirism...i believe all of their views combined would make some form of a vampire
Well, there are the Medical conditions that lead to the Mythos of the Vampir. Sanguine iron defciancy, photic allergies, or photic sneezing are real conditions common to Eastern Europeans (Slavics and Romanians) that are part of the supersticious make up of Vampire lore. These hereditary conditions are common to Eastern Europe and affect about 1 in 9 Americans. I know, I unfortunatly suffer from all the above. I dont run around pretending to be cool about it though. At an early age I had to give up all sugar drinks and drink lite Beer and Diet Pop to keep my weight normal because of the non stop unsatisfied thirst. Trying to take iron supplements, or eat rare beef, or at last resort drink blood are all short term fixes to the thirst. However considering how many more serious diseases are out there its a liveable condition. Apart from that Vampirism is a state which many people define differantly.
