I HAVE HERE, I photo taken by a friend.. NOW, the friend is an open-minded-sceptic...

THIS is HIS bus... and HE took the picture with a standard digital camera.. (nothing fancy) THIS photo is one of 4 taken in relatively quick succession.
The date on the picture is wrong.. this was done, this year.He took pictures as he had just bought it and was planing to do it up.. 'before and after'

OK.. he doesn't smoke and he was the only one on the bus.. none of the other pictures had this mist, (ectoplasma) in..
OK... NOW, on this picture.. Please look up to the right hand- top of the photo, by the bell press button..and up by the top of that window and then cast your eyes over the photo.. THAT is where I believe this entitys Head is...
a hat, perhaps!???

I won't make any further suggestions.. as I do not wish to contaminate this thread..
I have also sent this photo, to professional paranormal Investigators.
I had feed back this morning "on initial investigation, we can see that this is not JUST an ordinary mist, there is not condensation on the windows nor is it foggy, outside.. so not enough moisture to cause breath to mist or humidity, will analyze further and get back to you"

RavenKnight.. i DID reply to you on the previous thread.. and I have added WHY. on THIS thread.

HE had JUST bought it.. and was chuffed to bits with it.. He planned to do it up,, and was Taking pictures for the before and after thing! Plus, it was his new toy!!

I am not closing the doors to the possiblities that that may be a spector of some sort but most of the stuff can be easily explained. The date could be from neglect on setting the date on the digital camera. And what exactly is an "open-minded skeptic"? Those words are contradictory to each other.

Open minded skeptic Means.. He diesn't believe in ghosts, BUT if he has evidence of one.. he is perhaps interested to KNOW.

Personally, i have NEVER seen a ghost.. I am not sure If I believe IN ghosts....
BUT I'd LOVE to see one then I;d know for sure.

a sceptic doesn't have to be closed minded on a subject..

Now if you really want to find out if this is a genuine spirit/ghost or whatever photograph you need to get the camera and take it to a camera shop and see if its functioning right.. I belive in paranormal things so i am not doubting the picture but digital cameras act weird sometimes, so it will have to be reserched like you said and then whatever happens atleast you know you looked into every possibility.

mayne theres a smudge on the lense, or maybe there was a lightglare from a passing object or maybe the sun hit it just right or maybe your friend's not all the way truthful or maybe the air was on and a dust cloud popped up in the flash, or maybe it was strands of hair or a finger caught in the lense sight without your friend's knowledge. there are alot of maybes, so I still choose to refuse to beleive in a paranormal nothingness that I cant explain.

awesome, did ur friend feel anything at the time, did the air temp change or anything be interesting to know if his camera was functioning correctly.

i can deffinatley see an image there....

even sitting at the pc now whereas before i was further away....

He felt and saw nothing... He is just as baffled as the next guy..
since the other pictures are clear!!

I message'd him on his mob and asked if he still has the pic on his camera.The camera is working fine tho... as he still uses it.

Was it the first photo taken in the set? Camras can do this. I am not discounting the fact that it could be something as I my self have seen quite the number of things that just should not be.

If it was the first shot he took it is from the camra warming up or cooling off. If you go from a warm or cold house to the out doors where its is cold or hot the camra has to ajest to the temp change. Its very common really.

This is the 3rd picture in the sequence.

Have you taken it to a program to lessen the contrast or brightness ? If you do you might be able to make it more clear...

No.. I haven't done anything with it..
I think the PI's are tweakin it to test for dimension, clarity etc..

I wonder why, if this is indeed an spirit they chose to inhabit the bus. Do you think it showed itself to scare your friend, if he had just purchased the bus? You should look into previous owners, the bus doesn't really look that old maybe 15/20 years.

Yes but she said that was 1 of 4 photos taken in quick succession why would it not appear on the other 3 if it was just fog or smoke?

Well the pi's should know what to do, and after they get done with it they will know what it is or what it is not.. I guess everyone will have to wait... It would be cool if it was a ghost/spirit photograph...

Ishta, she said "relatively quick succession", which allow a sudden breeze... Or maybe it is his own warm breath...

but wouldn't a sudden burst simply disperse it, it would completely disappear in the next photo?

why not? we dont know exactly how much time passed between a pict and the other... and I doents looks like a hmmm burning building... I mean, it is just a few smoke or whatever it was...
Im just a little bit esceptic about this, not that I cant believe in ghosts, but, I just, dont see a thing in this pict.... May be its just I need glasses or something...

Perhaps it is swamp gas! Or a bit of undigested potato. A problem with the lense? Maybe the remainder of a fog machine discharge. Perhaps a number of people blowing cigarette smoke? Or perhaps something that has remained after it should have gone

It is also possible that the camera was cold. I have gotten mists in my pictures from bringing my camera inside and taking photos right away, not allowing for it to warm up.

Or could be vise versa, the camera was warm until they took it out in the cold and took a picture? Not saying this is what happened but it is a possibility.

I really want to know what the experts say. I have had this happen to my photos when I have had condensation on my lens.

Yes, but, there is a point: he took a serie of 4 pictures. This one is the 3rd of the group... Then, or it is hectoplasm ( which I seriously doubt) or, he took them with a few minutes of difference between each other, what makes me think again about the exposed before.
If he took them with a few seconds between... Then my question would be: why he wanted to take 4 pictures so quickly of an empty bus, if the 3rd one is which shows the smoke?

Seems weird to me...

If the driver was a smoker, then perhaps cigarette smoke getting in the picture could be a possibility..

Ok let me start off by saying I am a professional paranormal investigator and I would have been honored IF you would have sent this to me for investigation, My whole profile is based upon the supernatural. Id like to comment that there are so many possibilities as to what it may or maynot be, however at forst glance it looks like a solid possibility. I completely agree with the open minded skeptic terminology since as an investigator my first job is to try and come up with good scientific proof that it is not an actual ghost, however if all the evidence passes research and no logical conclusion can be made the picture will be believed to be authentic and treated as such. I rarely ever believe a haunting to be authentic until proven otherwise although I never rule out the possibilities. I personally have seen hundreds of ghosts and will most likely see hundreds more so if the picture is authentic you have something to talk about for years to come. If I can be of any help let me know.

Harpia.. he took 4 pictures in quick succession along the whole bus, starting at the front (inside), he wanted some photos of the inside as he had judt bought it and was excited about it 'new toy' He says it was more like 30 seconds between each photo.
all other of the 3 photos are clear!

NB.. There is a note Just above the photo of the latest back from the PI's.

Yes. I have seen orb shaped thngs on pictures.. I can see that THEY can be from light refraction and reflection.

I dont see how a foggy mass can come from reflection?

Well I would have asked you if the Pics where taken a couple seconds appart and with Flash however you stated that they where taken roughly 30 seconds appart which would rule out the possibility of it being a still flash from a previous picture. I dont have the pic. to analyze however with a glance it appears to be ectoplasm of sorts. I really dont believe the Pic is a prop although I cant be certain since I cannot test the integrity of the photo but my guess would be a VERY good chance of it being authentic.

personally, i think everyone has got at least one picture like this one. i know i do. i was told it was just moisture on the camera lens.

It could be a number of things, when I was in school one year I rode this bus that when sitting in idle, exhaust smoke would enter breifly and look exactly like that, so thats what I think it is, but who knows, maybe the bus wasn't even running.

Ok Minx... I'm coming to visit and WE are going to go get on this bus and ride it until we find out!!!! That is really cool looking!!

Really fascinating. I've seen evidence of hauntings myself. I'm also a paranormal investigator and one of the guys I work with has a bunch of computer programs designed to rip apart the different parts of a picture for analysis. You should purchase programs like that. You can try yahoo to get information, or I can try to get you a list.

That pic is fecking brilliant! I have done some ghost walking and I work as a medium when I can.That picture gave me chills,literally.I can see a face and perhaps a hat, but can see what I think is a man's face.perhaps it is someone who rode the bus alot in life
The energy attached to that picture though struck me very much as manevolent, whoever or whatever it is, was is not happy.

Do you know if he can figure out the history of this bus, where it was from and how it was used before? I definatly see something in the mist possibly a hat, looks like maybe an old straw sun hat, but then I also see a woman holding a baby... Maybe my eyes deceive me... Then again, you may never find out EXACTLY what or who it was... But I'd say check the background of the bus first hand. See what it's been through

Have you tried to re-create the picture? I mean, if it is really a ghost, perhaps you can get lucky enough to snap another pic.

You are lucky enough to have snapped this one. Maybe your luck hasn't run out. I would also like to know the history of the bus itself and the route it was on. Maybe there is something in the past that caused the pic.

That is awsome! I think I can see a face.....I love it when I take pic's like that. I used to this old camera and I was always getting pic's like that on it.

I have some news back from the PI's
they were on an investigation hence the delay.
They are gonna test the photo further, but they have outruled the chance of it being water vapour on the lense.
as the mist 'appears to be moving on the left hand side in a tunneliing manner"

The windows of the bus are not steamed up even partially, so they said "it is unlikely to be condensation in the air as the windows are completely clear"

I will call my friends this afternoon and ask him ALL the questions and get back to you..I am sure he'd know by the log book if this bus is fresh out of service or if it was a private use bus.

They have also tested the photo for genuinity.. it is confirmed it has NOT been photoshopped.. ( I knew that anyways.,.. or else i'd be makin a right prick of myself on here)

I've heard PI's on TV say that there need to be certain conditions met for ghosts to appear on film.

i see a mans face right next to the pole. i'm not gonna say that it is a messed up pic because i just don't believe it. Me and a friend were taking pics at her house one night on her digital camera and i was surrounded by orbs. I thought maybe it was just light refraction but there really isn't much in her house to make that happen. Not to mention her kids have seen a blue person in their rooms. I've looked out of the corner of my eye and saw the blue person walking down the hallway and all of her coffee cups has fallen out of her cabinet. I believe that your friend has caught something in that pic.

oh man for the longest time they wouldn't sleep in their room . when it happened the boy was only 3. So you know he wouldn't make it up and he was so scared.

greetings Minx. as you know i took the pic and sent it to a paranormal society in my surrounding area. they had 9 other professionals take turns and doing thier thing to the pic and researched this pic for a couple of days. there research concluded with mine goes like this.

the picture is a definate original and was taken by a digital camera. the picture isnt a fraud. the coding in thier macjines showed that the picture wasnt entered into any other program and messed with.

i told them what everyone here was seeing, and they pointed out to me what was going on. they agree that its a mist, not on the lens but adrift inside. but the image of the person that alot were seeing was the mist rolling and just happened to make that form when the picture was snapped.

everyone must realize when in this line of work that most paranormal investigators have to be the biggest skeptics of all. just to make sure that the analysis is correct.

this is what i have been told and what i see as well. i hope there are other answers in all of this.

Atleast your investigating it... Some people would discredit it and that would be it...

I'd say it is a lucky shot, to take a picture right when a rolling mist forms a shape that resembles a human? I bet the odds of that are one in a million.

Save that picture, spook your friends and tell them it's a real ghost LOL!

yeah i can see a person, kind of like a fire fighter, but get the camerea and lens checked, it might just be a smear or something.

its his reflection from the way he is standing in exasust fumes coming in from the window on the right but its a good pic!

Rolling mist my butt... There's more to it than that...

it's very possible that the light somehow reflected under the lense *shrugs* but maybe you've got something cool here. Glad you're having it investigated! massively good. Keep us updated!

Thank you for forwarding it to the investigators GreusomeTendacies. After reading about their findings, it did seem like a lucky shot.

It could be that the shot actually caught something and even though I do believe in that, it's too inconclusive to form any kind of conclusion.

I will keep an eye on this one as I'm interested to see if anything else is discovered.

it looks like a hat and if you look at it long enough you can see the place where I should be and it looks like whatever it is pointing.

... I saw a lady with a hat holding a baby... does anyone else see that?

Hmm, well I see a few different things.

Ok.. What I saw was a hat brim that starts around the same level as the window top edge... and I saw an emblem in the centre of the hat... I saw 2 eyes and shoulder on the right. The sharp edge to the right hand side is what completely puzzled me, I have NEVER seen a sharp edge to a mist before...

Smears have been ruled out because the other photos were clear.

I initially saw an unbalanced face which I can still do. Like I said it may have been a lucky shot but if you keep staring at it, the mind will naturally start forming objects and things from it.

It's the same thing as closing your eyes and looking too hard at the blackness... Eventually you'll start making things out which can be also related to mist/fog.

What IS interesting tho, is that everyone has said if they see anything they see a 'face'...

might be someone STILL tryin to get to Peckham!! ;)

I actually see two people, one a bit shorter than the other both wearing hats.

my friend was by himself in the bus (in physical)
I have emailed the PI team to find out if they have any updates on the investigation.

The latest was that they confirmed the pic wasn't fake and that it had not been photoshopped, or even edited. They said it was not moisture on mens as there appears to be movement towards the left hand side of the mist.
They are running some blue dye over it and had converted it to b/w for further investigation.They can't explain at this stage, what the sharper angle is on the top right. It appears in front of the pole so it isn't a shadow..

From what i gather, the blue dye needs to be soaked in..!i knew it'd take a few days

However, he said if the find is of anything worthy. he would contact the previous owner ( he doesn't wanna come across weird asking the previous owner "have you any knowledge of the bus being haunted"?) He really isn't the type to DO that kinda thing!!

You need to know the history of the bus, and spending the night on it would be enlightening.

yeah, I see something. a face and a torso, perhaps. but then again, I hear voices that aren't there, too, so my input probably isn't going to help you.
