Okay, here is a subject I've been trying to get information about for a while now. Sorry if it sounds off the wall but I just want others opinions. Hopefully it will help me quit feeling like I'm losing my mind. LOL

What do others think about vampires being able to invade your dreams? Do you think it could happen or do you think it's just a part of someone's imagination.

I had a strange but vivid dream about November of 2006 and since then strange things have been happening. Not big things have been happening but small things that make you just say "hm, that was strange" and then just kind of shrug it off.

What do you think?

I believe that your dreams can be invaded. I think that it can be done by something other than a vampire. There is a form of ESP called Astral Projection. It allows the mind to leave the body and travel. With practice and training one can intrude on the minds of others. My understanding is that the easiest time to gain access to anothers mind it when it is at rest.

If shaman dreamwalkers can enter your dreams then vamps may also.

i dont belive it what is the benifet for the vampire to get in to your dreams?

vampires or not if you can dream walk you can enter someones dreams as long as they dont control there dreams so as for a vamp entering your dreams yes they can and more so if they have any idea about who and what you are the more they know the easer it is for them to enter

Yes vamps can enter your dreams it is not very common but it has been known to happen.

I've been told by other vampires that are friends of mine that he does exist and that he lives in the UK. He has been reported to be on a couple of forums but they are having trouble locating him.

take detailed notes of your dream and then pay very close attention to you life and semilartys to your dream.

Maybe you're remembering a past life, or your past is trying to catch up and break through.
Thats a good idea thoug, to detail your dreams, maybe you could tell us about them.
Wiccans can also invade your dreams, it could be someone you know, there are ways to shield yourself against it, the easiest is to imagine a web over yourself before you sleep a grid, or a box. and to imagine it enclosing over yourself and your mind.

I haven't heard of vampires invading dreams, but I suppose it's possible.

Dreams are an extension of your inner self your want's and desires. So if you are open and willing anything is possible.

Dreams can be controled by others, sometimes if they have some connections with you.

why would you have to be a vampire to dream walk?

Actually, most anyone with practice and meditation can learn to 'dream walk'. It's been reported back to me that I have interrupted friend's dreams. Usually during times when I lose control of my consciousness while sleeping. I've had people/spirits interrupt my dreams before. I know one was gost, one was vampire, one demon, can't remember the rest.

I know my lover used to watch my dreams when he'd wake up in the morning, he's a vampire. You can learn a lot about someone through their dreams, i'm sure there are lots of reasons to 'invade' them. Most of which are probably personal.

I do keep what I call a dream journal. It's nice to be able to look back on them and see what had happened and see if there are any similarities. I'm hoping my vampire friends can find my vampire but I'm not going to hold my breath. Vampires are very secretive, if they don't want to be found they won't be. I keep the faith though.

I don't think that this skill is available to just vampires.
I think if anyone wants to learn this that they can with extreme dedication and practice

i do not think that anything can exactly invade your dreams...it is more like things can influence them...dreams are simply what you are thinking...if you go to sleep thinking of a vamp, then you will most likely dream of one...but, that is just what i think

It's just not only vampires, anyone can do astral projection.Does not have to be a vampire.I would suggest you learn about shielding, and perhaps a protective or cleansing spell for yer bedroom.

Well I suppose if there are REAL vampires on VR they could also be in your dreams

Of course what are you doing before you go to sleep? Are you watching a Vampire movie? Are you reading a Vampire novel? Are you thinking about vampires before you doze off?

i once had a crush on a guy at my school, who was a vampire... now here's the weird part behind the dream... it felt REAL. i looked up at him, and it was dark, and gothic looking. he was wearing all black. he pulled out a shiny sword from his belt, and gave me a stern look. you know what? he broke up with me shortly after that. so i'm guessing the sword was telling me that he didn't want me anymore for some reason...

i think he was sending me a message. so yes, i think vampires can invade dreams.

I will agree with Hurtsoulless. I think anyone can invade your dreams if they knkow how to do it. Its just not vampires. Your subconscience mind is powerful.

i believe that anyone can enter a loved ones dreams, but it is hard to enter any random persons dreams. For a Vampire it is a lot easier

In my dream, my vampire, bit me on the neck between my shoulder and my neck. The pain was so intense that it woke me up out of a deep sleep. I went to the bathroom and there was a red mark like someone had pinched me. Even after about 5 minutes of being awake the pain was still pretty intense. I've had a dream about him 3 times, and then they just stopped. I was getting rather used to him, how depressing. It's like being really close to someone and then they just disappear. How odd.

invading sounds like it's such a negative thing. There are many positive purpose for visiting people in their dreams like last night as someone tried to kill me my vampire lover came and lay beside me as i was sleeping (his physical body being many states away) and entered my dreams to protect me. I mentionted the fact that he's a vampire 'cause so many people think that vampires are evil and the word invade, saying that vampires invade dreams really makes it sound like not a good thing at all. Though it can be done, invading someone's dreams isn't nice to do, i'd rather have a visitor than an invador anytime, vampire or otherwise.

I agree. I don't consider my vampire to be invading, which is why I'm so sad that I haven't had one of him for a while.

I used to have this really vivid dream about a vampyre killing my mom on a spiral staircase while I hid behind a large oakpeice chest and then the vampyre took me under his wing and cared for me... It was a re occurring dream that started when I was about 5 and continued throughout my childhood. I love my mother.... and yet still I wasn't afraid of the vampyre

Dreams have always been an important part of my life, some nights I can’t wait to go to sleep so I can dream. Occasionally I have lucid dreams, which can be great because it’s such fun to realise you’re dreaming and able to do anything you like.

One of my favourite lucid dreams happened when I was living overseas. I hadn’t seen my sister in ages, and when I realised I was dreaming, I willed her to appear in my dream.

There was a door in front of me, so I just said, ok, when I knock on that door, my sister is going to open it. And she did.

We hung out and chatted, and when I awoke, I felt like I’d actually spent time with her. And maybe, on a different plane of reality, I had.

so yes vampires are able to come in to your dreams there is no doubt in my mind that they aren't able to.

No i don't think anyone can invade your dreams. I think that you are certainly more succeptible to outside influences but your dreams are an extension of yourself, not open to outside interference

they can enter it but they are weaker when they do it, as if you keep aware of the fact that its your dream then you are in controle and you can push them away or let them take over, its all up to you.

I've had dreams about vampire's. Actually one just lastweek. So yes I believe that they can invade your dreams. Only it is weird that strange things have happened to you. Nothing happens after mine besides the fact that I want to go back and finish the dream.

Well, back a few years ago I awoke to find a man in my room. He told me one day I would stop fearing the dark and become one with it. In a sence it came true.

Ive had dreams of meeting people before I knew I would meet them in real life. I had met SlaveoftheNite in a dream twice. Once looking at a castle, him at my side. The other was me in the castle locked in a cage. I remembered these dreams when I met him on VR.

So, its possible that you can meet any kind of person or creature when they enter your dream.

Yes, I believe it is possible , and not just limited to vampires. With the right conviction almost anyone could do this. However , I prefer the term "visit" , rather than "invade".......unless it would be someone one would wish to torment . Then that would be a misuse of the power.

The dream dimension is all around us.and vampires can excist on more than one plane.so the dream dimension shouldn,t be a problem to enter.

well any things possible. it all depends on ho in tune to the super natueral one is. i get visted by ghost some time the way some wierd stuff happens to me. so a vampire could invade ones dreams i suppose.

i think you have dreams no matter what you are even if you are a vampire you still have good and bad dreams.

of course they can invade your dreams. They can also alter your dreams to reflect what they want you to feel.

I believe others can cross into your dreams as it has happened to me various times. Alot of times with vampires but mainly with ghosts/ancestors. I've gotten them since I was younger...and most were warnings when I was getting to close to something...be aware of your dreams...dream catchers and witches shoelace helps keep things out.

I sometimes get thought dreams but when i do I feel refreshed on the days i wake up after having them then the days i dont. It is always me drinking the blood of my enemy type deal draining them completly of there life before releasing my wrath on the others before me like some epic battle of sorts and i have allies with me just that i cannot see there faces battling along side of me

There are many things that can enter our dreams. So, why not vampires. We are most vulnerable when we sleep. This is the easiest time for someone or something to enter into our minds.

Dear M.R. There are so many things that can bring about certain types of dreams. Most of which have already been stated here. I would have to agree though that dreams can not only be invaded but that other things can be experience by you when dreaming. Thus sometimes you wake up with a certain sensation or the confusion as to whether or not it really was a dream. I have had many such things. So I completely understand how strange this can seem when it firsts starts happening to someone.

I think our personal value beliefs have a lot to do with our dreams. Also the type of literature you read reflects in your dreams also. You may have been"visited" in your dreams for many reasons. It could be possible that your sub-conscience may be manifesting itself in your dreams, or you may have a spirit type visitor. You may be having some type of awakening. I would suggest paying attention to all the small details, and maybe even starting a dream diary. You can access the dreams and their meanings by purchasing a good book. there are psychic vamps that can invade thoughts, dreams, and even your spirit i believe. i dont doubt that something is definately up though.

It would be nice if I could remember a dream, lol. I haven't remembered a dream is years. So I don't know if anyone's entering my dreams or not.

I think any spirit or unworldly being can enter a mortals dream. We don't always know it though. But sometimes we do sense them being there and remember when we wakeup.

I heard my grandmother tell me once that a demon or the devil could not read your mind. She said that the only person that could is you and your beliefs. If you believe it could happen it will. I was suffering with horrible re-occuring dreams about the devil taking my soul. So, I think I allowed it in to begin with. But I tend to buy my grandmothers version of this. You can only get in what you allow in.

No, I don't- but I think we should value dreams highly as a concept of sharing our complex subconscious feelings with ourselves- if you ave had such a dream, maybe you could try analying the colours, feelings, people, and idea in your dream to try and figure out what you are trying to tell yourself.

Dreams can be invaded but not just by vampires. All I can suggest is get an amulet to protect you while you sleep. That is if this is bothering you. I have had my dreams invaded many times. I hate when it happens. And most of the time I just end pushing right back into the mind of the invader. lol

I've been having incounters with vampires in my dreams lately as well. But then during the time that I'm awake, I feel like I'm constantly being watched by something that I can see. I think that vampires can enter your dreams if your willing. If you feel like when you go out at night and you feel like someone is watching you just might be.

I have had dreams where you all the sudden feel like your conscious focuses to a point and you realize you've just met someones gaze eye to eye. I've jerked awake every time it happens, wish I could stay asleep and see what would've happened!

I do believe that your dreams are symbols for something that has happened or is about to happen. I also think that it is possible for them to be invaded.

I believe that it is entirely possible.Your soul is open while you sleep and for a vamp or person for that mater, with telepathy, it would be easier at that time.

Like a spirit, I think you would have to somehow invite the vampire (or spirit) into your life, in order for them to be able to take power over you and enter your dreams.

I do think that different things can invade your dreams, however, it is also possible as Kaisaidia (I hope I spelled that right) said that you are dreaming of them because sometime in the not too distant future you will meet them. It has happened to me before.
