I have always been interested in the power of stones. Do you carry stones? And if so, which ones? And what does it do for you?

i carry rune stones, the other stones i have i keep with my tarot cards, to keep them protected and cleansed

I carry some from time to time, but they're ones that I have charged with a specific purpose, I.E. balance, protection, awareness, etc...

I have always loved stones, rocks, and crystals. I have carried clear crystals for better insight. Rose Quarts is thought to benefit the owner in healing a wounded heart. Amethyst is thought to relieve us of additions or obsessions. There are many stones know to possess different properties. There are many books on the properties of crystals that can guide you... so you can choose the stones that would best suit you..

when i was 4 years old i loved collecting stones. I carry one sometime if i have charged it for a specific reason.

I do not carry stones, but i am fond of blood stones...

I have alot of crystals and things....they range from moonstones to bloodstones and clear quartz to moldavite and things...they are all for different things like chaneling energy and protection to healing......

No.. I don't carry stones on me, but I do deal with runes and the set that I have are made of amethyst... I chose them due to the energy and connection I felt...

I carry a tiny pouch full of stones that represent the charkras. This is to help me cleanse them.

i know what you're talking about. you can get them at barnes&nobles. but i dont believe in them all that much

A while back i carried rose quartz and amythyst as i believed they made love find you.
From my experience though i dont think they worked as the result wasn't what i hoped it would be.
Many of my friends said that it was because i didn't believe properly and i was just experimenting, but im not sure as i havent tried it since.

I was at the flea market with my mother and we walked by a table with some sort of cute rocks on it. I paused, picked one up for a bit, and then set it down. I carry red jade, opal, rose quartz

I do not believe that the stones you carry can affect your life in a positive or negative way.

I carry a rose quartz crystal to balance myself and I find it soothing. I also use amethysts for healing. I have many stones that I won't list that I have different uses for but the amethyst and rose quartz are the ones I use the most.

I have both the rose quartz and the amethyst, but I don't always carry them on me.

I almost always carry Amethyst with me.

I always carry tiger's eye and amber with me. Tiger's eye for courage and amber for inner beauty. I am frightfully shy, so I thought they might help. Which they have, a little bit.

I don't carry any with me but i do keep Rose Quartz by my bed

I have just about any stone you can imagine. I have been collecting since I was a very little girl. I love my quartz and amethyst most.

I don't but my grandmother did when she was alive, she said that they were her protection.

As I have said before, I do not believe that stones hold their own energy but someone has to charge them in order for them to have a positive or negative affect on people.

I carry different stones depending on what i need them for, I have 2 different types of runes and i like amethyst for peace and tranquility i guess it's all personal choise really some stones like heamotite causes my anger levels to rise so i don't use them much but jade and snowquartz are good for healing the mind and the body.

I like blood stones. They seem to help me.

I typically wear Hematite on my finger, it helps me ground myself.

I can feel the vibrations of most stone types, however I believe to use them, you have to focus/charge them to use for specific things.

I carry runes on me. I am learning how to use them. Waiting until I have the time to craft my own personal ones. I find it comforting to have them on me because I show people what they are and try and educate them on what tehy can do.

I carry with me everywhere - heamatite, azurite, flourite, angelite, and cat's eye. The list changes according to what I feel like I need at the moment. My collection of stones is huge so I can easily change what I'm carrying.

The power of stones that I believe in the most, are the stones that are used for hot stone massage. It is wonderful the energy that brings!

Never really thought about it but It might be something to look into.

stones, i carry several when i'm going to be going on a trip.i have 3 crystals, 2 loadstones, one male, one female,obsidian, micca, tiger eye. they all have there function. i aslo have a replica of the crystal skull, and a 7 inch blood red and clear oblisk of crystal. i'm ready.

I have my pendulum its made of crystal quartz, I want one made of sphuire but..moeny i guess is lwoing it aquisition down (lol)

I carry whichever one I feel best suits my purpose for that day...mainly I carry rose quartz with tigers eye and a hematite stone...These are to attract love...have the courage to speak to them and to repel negative energy.

I'm almost always wearing some stone. Before it was obsidian but lately I've had a lot of garnet and rose quartz. I find them very handy dandy.

i dont talk about the stones i have because to do that would take away all powers the give to me, choices r emmense when anyone carries a stone of power

I don't leave home without my rose quartz pendent. I don't feel like me without it... It keeps me balanced and I believe it helps attract love...

It seems most people do carry some sort of energy stone. Rose Quartz appears to be the winner. Do you think that is because it is pretty? Or is there something in that particular stone that makes it more prone to be picked?

I have a stone my mom got for me i don't know quite what it is.. but it looks like Marble anyway. It's shaped in a love heart and is black and grey.
I take it everywhere with me, and use it as part of my Altar. x

I have a blue stone . which is valueable to Apache . It stands for Yosin (God) . Its like having a cross or prayer beads our than that Idk .

I know that heated stones are often used in spas, to soothe muscles and such. So many things contain hidden powers, and I seem to recall reading something about the healing power of certain stones or crystals.

I have worn a rose quartz crystal for years. No, not for love and warm fuzzies... *rolls eyes* Actually I ltell everyone that it promotes beauty ad keeps one looking young. But then most people don't believe my real age so it might actually be working for that. *heh*

I used to wear a necklace of Andaluscite, blue tigers eye, labradorite, onyx, with the tri metals of copper, gold and siver, it also had a quartz piece on it. As well as a necklace with a 300 yr old cross on it, with malachite, onyx, jet, and nickel.

But like all things material, they go away. The cross was loaned out for casting, and i never got it back, and my chocker broke when I no longer held to my path...but everynight I sleep with a black obsydian sphere like a child would his plushie.....

There are several in her series, but the thick purple book is the best quick reference.

Stones, like planets, are formed of energy, just as are the minerals. So it becomes possible for storage of any material be it part of your essence, memory, power, luck, hope, love, fear, hate, passion, lust, justice. They are a great tool to augment the purposes of a rite, or to store something until it is needed including spiritual entities and the souls of the dearly departed. You can graft spirits to any mineral, any metal, and for any purpose. Its just up to your imagination.

I actually ahve a few big stones in a few coeners in my house in a few rooms...also on my altar I have a small pile of stones. I got them from outside by a creek..... I feel that they help me with my energy levels.

i think that such stones can be helpful but i am curious do most people concecrate such stones with particular energies and if so what kinds of energies do you place inside these stones.i would only think that these stones and their energy would get stronger with the memories that were built up by their holder when using them.

Yes that is true blood, the memories and such do get built up, and enhance the stones etheric properties, thus adding to their overall eficacy. But all in all a stone on the ground and a stone you have in your pockets for 20 years all stem from the earth, its just a way to focus on the energy, they type of stone is a specialized type of energy.

A friend of mine gave me a necklace made out of Jade and quartz I lost it about 2 years ago my husband and I had moved into a new house and about 2 weeks ago it showed up right outside the door of a friends car in our driveway..When my brother in law brought it in, I about cried that made me believe that blessed stones do find there way home it was empowered with protection from a few of my closest friends.

so is it safe to say that some stones have a stronger energy than others...i am curious is there any particular stones to stay away from when one decides to get one.

I carry some stones with me. But most of the time their cept away. The one i carry with me the most is a brick red one. Stands for fire cuz that is my favorite element.

black jade... someone i loved gave it to me.. telling me it will keep me in balance as one side of me is dominant inside me and i need to controll it

Typically i wear hematite for grounding purposes, but that's all I wear/carry at this time. I'll have to go shopping for more soon.

I keep many stones, some I wear, like my crystal or my amethyst and others I use around my home and in rituals. As for what they mean - there are too many stones to tell you what each one means but Barnes and Noble have many books on stones.

I only carry amber on a regular basis. The ancient energy of the Earth it contains is very calming and centering to me.

I wear stones when they look good on Me. I've never experienced any type of negative or positive energy from any of the stones that I've worn, or kept around My house. I guess its just not part of My everyday life to concentrate on that aspect of nature. I'll continue reading to find out more about what others think.

I've found some stones have certain energies.... I have an amithyst that I keep in my room and it seems to make me feel more comfortable so I can sleep better... I haven't had the time to really look into it but I'm glad you posted this because you totally reminded me of it.... Thanks!

all stones have energy in them, its how you use them that makes the difference.

I used to carry stones around. I don't anymore. I think I was then looking for something to steer me in the right directions and 'lean' on. I have since grown to realize that the power I have as a mere human is enough. I have everything within me to stay on course- and I have the power within me to not be swayed and affected by negativity. It's a practice.

In my house we have stones placed throughout it. In any room with a mirror we have quartz and in the bedroom we have amethyst. I always carry a jade totem animal that is my boyfriends as protection and to for grounding purposes.
