does anyone know why these demons attack people when they are asleep? i've heard some stories about incubi, and succubi... quite frankly, i'm INTERESTED in the incubus, i think they're... intriquing... did anyone here ever have an incubus dream?

to feed off the sexual energy of the sleeper, a male will feed of the femal and the femal demon will feed of the male. I use to live with a incubu and I do have succubu part of me, as I do feed of the orgasm of the male, it makes me stronger and feeling better, as the oposite when I use to feed the incubu living with me, I was getting so weak when he was feeind of me, really weak.

I think they are seeking sexual intercourse, mainly the energy that they get out of it...

The experience for me was/is not intriguing in any sense... I have woken up many times without the ability to move, feeling as though there is something in the room with me... It is terrifying...I can't explain my experience, but the dreams that have occurred for me were/are anything but pleasant.

Questions one should ask is who told you it was a bad demon, and question their motives for telling you it’s a bad thing, sex is great even if it is with a demon.
Personally I don’t know of anyone who died and said it was a succubus/ incubus that did it to me... coz they are dead.

Incubi/Succubi attack during sleep because that is when most people are most receptive, to feed on the person's sexual energy. I had an encounter with an Incubus once.......it was more unnerving than scary, but I was weak when I woke up.

My reason for why it attackes in the person's sleep is because that people will easily succum to anything in their dreams, if they think they are dreaming. In your dreams, you will do things you wouldnt normally do when you are awake. I guarantee you have done some things in your dreams, that you would probably not admit or do while you are fully awake.....

I'm not saying I'm entirely sure i was attacked by an incubus, but as far as I know the description of an incubus attack is the one which best compared to my experience...

Of course, I am open to hearing other suggestions as to what it might have been.

I didn't really experience any sexual intercourse with this creature or whatever it was, but from what I could grasp from it it definitely had sexual intentions.

I've never experienced the incubus or succubus but I think the reason they attack the sleeping is because we r more vulnerable when we're asleep then when we're awake.

The reason incubus or succubus come in the night dreams are simple.
Your not in there dimension normally, altered states or frequencies in the brain change and allow contact……..

I think the creatures you are talking about would attack people in their sleep because it is so much easier to influence the sleepers dreams to the erotic and it was believed at one time when a man had a wet dream that it was caused by their night visits

I've had many incubi dreams. They eventually became terrifying and it wouldnt stop.
It was almost as if it could have been an out of body experience while it was happening, I felt like my body was really moving, but at the same time, I'd still be partial to my surroundings and knew I couldnt move my body.
And I always knew when they would happen. I'd be lying in bed, with my eyes closed, not yet asleep, and a dark foreboding feeling would sweep over me, followed by, a sensation that something was crawling up to me from the end of my bed. I could feel the pressure on the bed. It happened for a long time before I ever knew what it was. Once I knew, it scared me even more.
But then I got used to it, and began enjoying it. But like I said at the beginning, they became almost obsessive like and eventually violent. And it felt like my mind was locked into the dream.

Eventually they stopped and stopped for quite some time, every now and then, they return. I remember once though, shortly after they stopped, i felt a pressure on me at nite and it was female, and she was strangling me.

Oh, therein lies a tale... I can make several accounts of not only dreaming of them, but actually having signs of them being there when I awoke. At one point in time I actually set up a sort of trap in my mind. They say you can control your dreams if you have strong enough willpower.

It would appear that I did because I caught the beast in the act and was very happy to know that she took a particular liking to me.

However, the interesting part in all of this was that I never once felt drained, only satisfied with the normal followings.
