my friends and I can have a "silent communication". it's really weird, because most of the time, we don't use facial expressions, or body language, and it's like we know what eachother is thinking. sometimes it's when we're together, and sometimes, if they're far away, I can feel what they feel.

I am not really sure if what I have experienced is telepathy. But if something is wrong with my cousin who lived with us my whole life, I can sometimes hear her say my name. It is kinda strange and I am not sure what is the reason for this.

Yeah cause I can just be in a room alone and hear her say my name and I always call her if I can. The last time it happened I called her and her son had been hurt someone had dragged him down the road with a truck.

telepathy is real, my husband and I practice it quite often. He can even tell me to bring a cup of coffee to him when i am in the kitchen and he is in the bedroom without words.lol

I think those that wish to have telepathy are worse then peeping Toms, as well as lazy socially.. they want to walk up to some one.. glean them.. and eaves drop on them, what does mesmerism have to do with
telepathy? I can see people blurting out things, and having someone connect that thought again, if people say they can read your mind, it is either a parlor trick, or the fact that you are shallow, and predictable. Or you have no inner voice modulation, I read tells, I listen to what others say about you when you are out of a ear shot, is this telepathy, no it is what detectives do, the motive to create an illusion of your mind being read, ever think to ask.. what about all the other thoughts in the room. Or how a mentalist will ask if "That was what you where thinking?" I now you'll claim, there are valid reasons to use telepathy.. but really it will always be entertainment, they cannot meet a test condition, because they are cheaters.

I do believe in telepathy. I follow My gut at every chance. I have had the urge to pick up a phone and find the person that I wanted to call on the other line without rings. Only to hear how they were hoping that I called.

Yes, I've had experiences with telepathy before. My parents and I would do these exercises when I was younger that strengthened this ability quite a bit....one would have to think of a certain shape (circle, triangle, square, or star) in their mind, and I would have to try and figure out which it was. It's a pretty common exercise. But because of that practice when I was younger, I can read people rather well now.

My experiences with people who claim to be capable of telepathy are hit and miss. They might be able to make connections with some people sometimes, but it isn't a universal skill that can be applied to everyone upon whim.

The cases I have read about that appear to be the most accurate and compelling involve identical twins. Perhaps with identical DNA coding there exists a scientific explanation for shared thoughts that might help us better understand how and why people can exhibit telepathy skills.

true but as with all things of this nature some are con artist who say they done it and have fake stories about it.

I've got a friend that I've known for almost 15 years and for some reason - when something is up with her, I know it - and vice versa. Even though we're three hundred miles apart - we have some weird connection- so I believe in telepathy, at least to that extent.

I cannot say that my psy has ever been telepathy, for mine is more in spirit communication but I can sat that I have a pretty good control over my "woman's intuition"...a feeling or a "hunch" has gotten me out of a sticky situation on more than one occasion.

I have tried it many times, and sadely I have never gotten it to work, though I have gotten it to shake.

My ex, Jon, and I have something weird between us. I'm not sure if it's telepathy or what.
But we can feel each other's pain.
He lives 2 hours or so away from me, and we feel each other.

Example. When I was going through another breakup, my heart jumped. Jon messaged me later and told me he felt his heart jump for no reason.

Example 2. Jon was gaging his ears from nothing to a size 8. It hurt him so badly. My ears were hurting for days after it.

i think sometimes that it is quite possible to confuse telepathy and intuition because most of the time out gut feeling is right on the nose with what will happen,so i suppose in a way intuition can be telepaathy though it doesnt use any extrordinairy senses beyond what we as beings use in every day life.

There are many documented cases of telepathy especially between Identical twins. Science has yet to be able to explain these cases and many people have a hard time believing what is not in black and white.

Part of things appearing to be telepathy is in interpitation, usually of things that are not "said". Like if a friend has not contacted you for a few days, you get the twing in the gut. When that person relates to you their situation on a later date you recall that twing, a good friend skill. To just brush that as telepathy, really disqualifies the bond that friendship creates, as well as social skills. Yet the real skill comes when someone or something is not right around you and friends, and you can raise the alarm without raising the attention of the potential threat.. I would want my friends to have a base cold reading skill in times like those. So the performancers who claim to do such things, they are doing something, something that is usually very convincxing, sadly that misleads people to think that only that is telepathy, and setting a high bar to those who wish to learn it.. with hopes of being able to "read peoples minds" without communication skills? As I stated earlier, I have talked with my husband and friends via telepathic thoughts. Yes I do believe that someone can actually talk to another person.

I have told friend over cards what tells a prson has, with the person oblivious to the events "spoken" before him. Accuracy? 75%.. you would swear it was telepathy, I seldom do it two games in a row, and the old new person, is usually likely to be in on it the next time. In hushed communication, their is something "Above a thought, but below a whisper.. it will be noted by those that now that words are not always needed to communicate.

i believe being ablr to have a experience would open on upto a whole lot more than just being able to read about it,though for some it might tke time to develop,more than others but would be well worth the experince nd would give insight.

I myself do believe it is possible...I cannot say for certain if what I have experienced has been telepathic or empathic...but who I am I to say that it is not possible...there must be a possibility or there would not be so many studies being done regarding it.

Reading thought, or projecting thought without words is very possible.. sign language, even morse code, are two examples, Comminication skills would still need to be developed, some have grand expectations, they are likely to miss what is already very possible, in subtle exchanges. Relative things, like warnings, or private mental memos.. will continue to fade, under such grand expectations.

Regardless, I do believe that telepathy is possible. Radio waves transmit an electrical signal, so do many others. When lightning strikes, such a motley amount of information is received, static ensues. So why can't the little zips and zaps in our brain carry outward to others'?

I think it works better when you have a common bond to what you are working with. i can do it with my kids and my boyfriend. For the longest time i could do it with my exhusband i still can sometimes i get shit from him.. Trying to make that stop though..

Personally I would not want to read another's thoughts as they are very private and would not want anyone reading mine in return...my thoughts are sacred and the only place in which I can keep totally private...so to think someone could read my mind just doesn't sit well with me.

I do agree that you can be very in tune with people and animals and when around them for awhile you come to learn them so well that it appears as if you can read that person's mind at times..but in actuality I don't believe you can.

I'm in the same quandary as lavisbre, but have experienced the telephone calls from someone I haven't heard from after dreams and reminiscenses. More importantly, I think I can hear my kid's thoughts; the trick here is to not reveal what I hear (or guess?). Less importantly, I've heard former bosses' thoughts. they were all assholes.

i have not done telepathy before altho id like to learn, my friend has it , she says she gets migranes trying too use it, heh. must be strength will power and non negativity, gravity and other sources.

I believe that some people may have this gift. People that claim to be telepathic couldn't prove it in front of eye witnesses. But I do believe the mind is a very powerful thing. The average human uses only 10% of there brains capacity. With that being said, imagine how amazing it would be if they could use the other 90%.

I dont know about anyone else,but for the most part ,it seems to me ,that it happens most when the mind is completely relaxed,if that makes sense.So locking down on the state of mind on a continuous basis isnt an easy feat.And it also seems to go in cycles.

It is to show that some of the things claimed to be telepahy, are in fact tricks, they have done this as far back as ancient times, so it makes sense that someone back then would explain it in a form of oral communication (later written) as something unexplainable, so it entered the world as telepathy.. then later someone showed that it was a trick, yet others still use it, perhaps varying the trick. The wholer thing about using 10% of the mind? I would challenge that in connection with telepathy, I would press for links..

I think in a tense situation is where telepathy would come in. Like at a party where your friend is ready to leave with a bad person.. that would be where telepathy would come in handy, I would like to ask, What purpose would having telepathy serve? What percentage of the population wqould you feel comfortable with having it? Would you want it by device possession only? So those that can afford the device have it. would you have subsrciptions? I can talk to my mom and best friend through their minds and they will answer me thinking I said something. My mom knows when I do it, but my best friend is now just starting to catch on. My boyfriend and I that is usually always how we talk.

It is possible but you have to be open to it. I don't like the idea cause people thoughts are private and it is hard not to hear them if you open yourself to them. People will not be able to hold their tongues so to speak. Most people don't always say what they maybe feeling strongly so you have to trust someone dearly if you open your thoughts to them and their thoughts to you.

I am somewhat like HalfBlood above... Me and my Mother were able to communicate at night. She'd have dreams with me in and that's how the messages were sent. She had the power of white magic and said that I would have it once she was gone... well nothing yet!

How many times have I thought about calling my mom or one of my sisters and pick up the phone to have them calling...saying that they don't know why they did but they called me. Or when your close to someone knowing what they are going to say before it is said...if a connection or will is there anything is possible

its alot people do not understand and its like anything you stop using it your forget it. We just need to relearn it.

I have it often, I know who is calling, what will the person ask, or why they call, I can know before a person enters the building they are coming, I can know the phone will ring the door bell, I can even sense when someone is in pain miles away and will call them

It happens very often with me, mostly with my family and close friends. I don't hear clear words, just images or a feeling to go/do something.

I haven't tried it, but I know it can be done. But, I have used telekinesis, and so has my brother. It works in a similar way, but instead of sending a message it moves an object.

My grandma and I have dreams that come true, births,deaths, just events. But I can sit back and think to myself that I want my grandma to call me and within a few mins she will call me.

you just have to have a open mind and just relax and really concentrate on it. After awhile you can do it without getting into a state it just happens. This is all stuff we can do as a kid but forget and let go of when we hit around 9.

I've never really tried it but with reading some of what you guys did... It seems pretty fun.

I practice micro observation, I can tell you this, Something exist .. Above a thought frequency.. but below a whisper, the first step is to examine what result you are expecting.. some portion of such communication is projection, and sync. between the sender and the receiver, some static bleeds as well. If one has too high expectations.. "Looking in the sky for fireworks , and missing the parade."

In a game of poker a form of telepathy(or reading) is taking place.. we all have our tells, we say a lot in what we do not tell, body language is set to pose our active engaged thoughts, not the intent, unless one can falsely project this.. (con men).

I just got in touch with a friend of mine and they told me they were being pulled to come to my house a couple of weeks ago and they don't know why. We weren't even talking at the time because we had a really bad fight. I got really sick that day and was deathly ill and needed help. I think I was calling to her in my weakened condition cause i needed help.

That is the sync I spoke of. A good thing to have between friends, application for the phenomena.

I also would like to add that sometimes when you are around a certain person for so long, you begin to 'tune' yourself into them. You will start to do things and say things that become in sync. It happens to me all the time esp if i have grown to know someone for a while. We'll start to think alike, say the same things so it's all pretty natural. It's part of the 'molding' factor. I think because we are all spiritual beings underneath it all, some of us are learning or have learned that this isn't some new talent. It's something that can and will grow as time goes on.

Tuning into a person also involves learning cues, not just when the cue is given, but when the cue is not given, My friends and I use this to verbally communicate one thing yet project a whole other thing (usually opposite) Example:

"Are we going to take this guys girlfriend with us?"

with out a cue for yes, *Glancing away and waiting for that person to be distracted also contributes to the intended communuica

I can sense things sometimes they come to me as a warning

If we experience things in life only as they happen to us, then we fail to gain that sense you describe so well, to learn what it feels like to be stalked or deceived, teaches those that observe to learn how to sense a situation that could occur, it is the person that is not paranoid but cautious that scans and assesses rather then blanket panic, in an unfamiliar situation. When someone vibes you wrong it is tied into patterns that we have experienced or had a person relate to us (in a learning environment). Irrational fears clutter this ability.. it is burying instinct for those situation that are more likely to occur. To pick up those cues to good or bad intention one needs to be able to process them into action.

Ok...I have had this happen to me....I had been thinking about a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a while and was in the process of calling her at the same exact moment she was calling me....would that be considered telepathy or just quirky coincidence?

Reinforced by the Sub Conscious time piece we have. If it had been a while since routine contact with a friend, those set times that routinely happened become infrequent.. that window of usual contact is when the sensation and preparation come from the sub conscious mind, Like every day prior to the distancing I would be called by a friend after they got off work, at a set time.. so that gap after a distance is sub-consciously noted still.. as a likely time to contact others.. or be contacted.. Still a phenomena, more behavioral then mystical.

Telepathy is a wonderful thing if used correctly but like so many other energies or powers as some call them you must use it to keep it fresh.

I can not say I have it but I have had strange things happen that lead up to it.I wont say anything and someone will answer me or if i say It they say why are you repating your self? I assume I might be claravoient but I beleave all mothers are intuitive when it comes to when the childern get hurt.My son lives with my parents in utah i am in california and I will feel something is not right I will call up my parents and find out my son Is haveing some major issues wich is leading to his removel from the home. I told my mom he is in need of medication wich they had removed him off of it .Last week after 2 years of my presistance they diagnoised him with one of the 7 levles of ADHD and have placed him on his new meds my mom thanks me for being persistant and helping her by calling out of the blue when things got rough...

And as you stated...I believe it is more of mother's intuition then it would be telepathy as mother's...and some father's...are very linked to their children.

I think science has attempted to give metaphysical mumbo jumbo a fair field, yet all the Tricks and Ruses has really outshone any potential actual phenomena. All the performances that have been claimed to be psychic are usually exposed. Fakirs go far back, and at one time science was baffled by such things, until people came forward and demystified those very same performance secrets.. what science found was a lesser physical phenomena that under lines the para behavior of the human condition.

How some can claim to have power over such things (show other tricks that they claim to be abilities) and then bulk on demonstrations of that ability, that could make there case.. I cannot help but agree it is 99.99 percent bunk. Until someone pockets 1,000,000,000 from The challenge by James Randi, I will keep the metaverse and the universe separate.. and I will enjoy what physical astonishing things that do exist. As far as calling people closed minded, or unenlightened .. More that body language has appeared to be telepathy. (sounds like a variation on telepathic claims) well Gods voice was that of his wife reading from the little prayer request forms filled out by people as they entered his seminars.

It is uri making a scramble to save face after Randi switched his prop tricks for straight items.. Popov is going about claiming God is telling him "You have a Back problem, I have a person her who has a back problem.." With his wifes voice being dubbed over the broadcast with cues about the people in the audience.

As for MRIs I would first scan an entertainer, like Chris angle Or the Mentalist while they do their routine, and then I would scan a claimed psychic. A jazz Musician playing improve has an activity in a certain part of the brain. A Detective has activity that fluxes between abstract and factual assignment. So if one could find a medium that would cooperate with set Scans (doing their abilities.) we could actually see if it is controlled or "random" output/input.

When former psychics come forward with their variations on themes that have been around for centuries it really is astonishing how the same tricks are bought as proof of something that has yet to be applied to anything outside of Seminar groups. The fact that I can make someone believe I can read their mind, show them how I did it, and they still believe i read their mind.. convinces me that there is a part of the human brain that is not being used, I think it is the Logic process part.
