Before we begin, its only fair that i admit that i'm a skeptic, but i'm asking this question in an open-minded way. Many topics on this forum are about feeding from others energy. I was just on a topic that asked people what lead them to there prey and sure enough, the whole energy thing poped up and took over the conversation.
So, my question is this: HOW exactly do you TAKE the energys from others?
Well, I use visualization and sexual activity. On the visualization part, i visualize something like a hose or tube going from me to the person i am feeding on, and use my breathing to simulate the taking in of the lifeforce. I can also use the keyboard for internet swans.
It's really not as complicated as it initially seems. I see, or rather feel the person's energy, and draw it in. Most people don't have strong shielding, so it's rather easy. To start, however, it helps to have a grasp of what energy itself "feels" like to you. I use quotes because there are many ways of interpreting it, and your personal way depends on what you respond to most effectively (e.g. some people "hear" energy, whereas others "see" it, "feel" it, etc.). Using the form of visualization that works best for you, all that's left is to "see" someone's energy coming to you. There's no prior step. Similar to the principles of magick, see it happen and it will happen.
I actually appreciate this post because as I am young in the art of energy work, its still a sort of reflex to me. It happens and I havent quite figured out how to "make" it work. I look forward to reading more responses.
For me, when it does happen, its a feeling of pulling and warmth that encompasses me.
There you go. You've already got a grasp on what energy feels like to you, so I'd suggest meditating too. Just quite your thoughts, focus on your energy as it cycles through and around you, and take note of the feelings it invokes in you. With practice, you can differentiate between different types of energy, which kinds are better for you, what kinds of people have more "healthy" energy to feed on, etc. Keep at it. It's a slow process, but well worth it when you have real control.
skeptic or not the energy is everywhere, people give off the more energy and it is strongly felt when a person is excited or sexual. energy or auro around them heightens my senses and i feel revived. whether you believe it or not many other posts will help you decide.
Well, provided one doesn't take too much, the effects are nigh on unnoticeable. There are rules of etiquette in feeding, especially when doing so when low on energy. I'm speaking, of course, in the context of psy vampires and their energy needs. Someone who is non-vampiric, according to the most popular belief, can regenerate the energy taken from them. Vampires can't do so, for whatever reason. We need the energy to be drawn from other sources. Aside from people, you can draw it from nature, animals, storms, the sun, etc. Human prana is just better, most likely because it's the most similar to our own energy. There is much less processing our systems need to do to incorporate it.
As for over-feeding, if too much energy is taken from a person, they will lose physical energy, get tired, and given a good deal of time and obviously conscious effort on the part of the vampire, they would probably die. Everyone needs energy to survive.
To feed, I find it necessary to stir the emotions of the donor (i.e., sexual, fear, anger, ect...). Their emotions emit energy and my body naturally absorbs that energy.
So I'd assume you're an empathic vampire then? I don't personally bother with emotions, as they don't do a whole lot for me. Raw energy is just more satisfying to me.
For those who don't really understand the concept, there are many types of energy, and each person reacts to and processes them differently. Some people who are proficient in empathy find that they like emotional energy, even specific emotions.
So if someone warned you not to feed off of them, would you suspect some counter measure that would effect you?
That would depend on their own proficiency with energy manipulation. If they can sense that you're feeding from them, then they should already have some semblance of control over their own energy. Shielding is a popular technique that books tend to put forth as a method of protection against psychic vampires, but Damien Daville provided the best argument against shielding that I've ever come across. I wish I still had a link to the article, but I've had enough experience with it to paraphrase.
Basically, shielding is the act of putting up an energy "shield" around your body, and it can be effective in discouraging weaker and inexperienced vampires from feeding on you energy, as such uncontrolled feeding is much more difficult when one can't really tell what they're feeding on. More experienced vampires, while having a sense of etiquette most of the time, will not feed on someone who asks them not to. It's rude, and can REALLY piss of some people. However, a vampire of enough power CANNOT be protected against with a shield. Keep in mind, a shield consists of energy, so what you've done is concentrated a good deal of your energy outside of your body, so while it may be harder to feed from yourbody, your shield is an open target to someone who can directly sense it. On top of that, someone with sufficient control can even open your shield, walk inside it, and close it around them. Most people don't have the will to combat that, especially when they're focusing on their shield in the first place.
Bottom line, unless you're REALLY good, you're ultimately at the mercy of a powerful psy vampire. Fortunately, powerful and reckless vampires aren't all that common. We have more courtesy than that.
And to continue with my other response....
If you can control the typesof energy you emit, you can actually force a vampire to feed on energies that can damage him/her, to the point of physical pain. That in itself can persuade them to feed on someone else.
I absorb elemental energies mainly by touch and visualization. For earth energies I touch the Earth or plants and visualize a green fluid being drawn into me. For air energy I stand in a violent wind or electrical storm especially hurricanes feeling the wind caressing me and a yellow light coming into me. For water a gentle rain storm is most effective for charging me with a blue light as the rain runs over me. Finally fire I absorb best as a red light by standing in bright sunlight on a hot day, this worked best for in Kuwait in the Summer heat that was a Hell of a charge.
Ahh, I see what you're getting at, dabbler. You mean the act of halting the flow of energy from one person to another. It can be done, and can indeed stop psychic draining as well, but imagine it like a tug of war. While no physical energy seems to be expended in either the act of feeding or the act of pulling energy back, it takes a concentrated will to perform. While it stops the feed, it drains all of your attention and energy just fighting off the attack. More importantly, though, against someone who is sufficiently skilled in drawing energy, it will still prove futile. Someone with a stronger will and better attunement to energy itself will still exact a stronger pull than you can combat, and you'll only succeed in weakening yourself to the attack. It's like a tug of war between Charles Atlas and, say, me. I might provide a little resistance, but as he would still be much stronger, I'd ultimately lose, as well as tire myself out needlessly.
i have to be close to someone in order to sense their energy i manipulate the energy and bring it in towards me kind of like what skylar said and then i use my breathing to controll it and yep thats it
That is why one must present a false front, which draws the initial connection, then a spark to "prime" the transitional "thread". As I would imagine.
I draw more from elemental energies then I do from the person themselves. What I mean is that I feed more of the energies that are emitted in nature then any other. Being an empath it is hard sometimes to feed off of other people's energies. The energy that a person could emit beign negative or positive can hurt if one feeds too long on the energy.

well i know if im having a bad day and the people around me are lively and happy it cheers me up and when people are negative and mad i tend to mellow out so i can see how peoole feed off energy.
usually ones draws another living beings energy by psychically consuming it,like a practice of meditation in a way
LovelyXDEATH35, most people need to be close to someone to feel their specific energy. It's VERY hard to consciously sense someone from a distance, especially if there are other people, objects, etc. between them. Even though the connection itself is really on the astral plane, and doesn't conform to 3-dimensional concepts of spacial distance, we identify more easily with the third dimension, and therefore are hindered by our perceptions here as well as on the astral. It is possible to single out a person from any distance, but without some key as to what they "feel" like, you have nothing to guide you. However, when you feed on the same person a few times, you establish a stronger connection to them, and it is subsequently easier and easier to feed from them, from anywhere, at any time.
sometimes you can tell what energy puts off, even from the other side of a room. these are the ones that we draw too in many cases. looks , reaction of the body, yet all things living give off a small yet ample energy, yet we are drawn to those that have a ball around them too energize ourselves.
In such a case, it's either a person with an unnatural deficiency in energy or a latent vampire who hasn't yet learned to control it. All psy vampires feed, but until they become aware of their condition and learn to control their feeding, it's generally less effective and erratic, and they tend to draw constantly off of anyone around them.
I'm sure everyone has their own way of taking or feeding off energy. I'm sure it's not as different as sending energy either.
It's easy to forget though that it's easy to take someone's energy. It's happened to me, it sucks.
And then you have some people that can do it, and not be able to control it.
Keep in mind, however, that there is a marked difference between a latent vampire unconsciously feeding due to lack of control, and a learned vampire training his/her body to feed without having to actively concentrate on it. The latter is far more powerful, oftentimes, and I would think it is more selective, as they likely already have a sense of what energies they want to feed on.
Of actually "taking" energy from someone, or anyone infact. I love how our minds can play tricks on us, make us believe that something is there when it isnt, or even have the power to make up beleive that we are very close to death (Panic attack)
It would not surprise me if this "Feeding" was just entirely your own imagenation.
No offence intended.
On a human or animal I do it best if I can actually touch them. If it's a tree or nature, I just close my eyes & picture what I am trying to take energy from.
We all have our own way, there is no wrong or right you find something that works for you, As for myself.. I have mastered the feeding.. I lack control to stop..
Well, I wouldn't exactly call them prey, for Strigoi Vii that is. There are many ways to feed. If you're talking about the more general form of just feeding off the aura of another, it's quite easy once you get the hang of it. You have to block all of your surroundings out, there can be no disturbances or it'll be too difficult to concentrate. Focus on your donor. Imagine seeing their spirit, or aura, within their body. Imagine yourself pulling the energy your way. Taking it in with every breath. Try to visualize the energy, spiraling towards you.
Well firstly I never take energy without asking permission, if I take energy from someone else.
I usually use my hands and taking their hands in mine. But mostly I take from nature, sitting in the moonlight or sunlight and absorb the energy.
I also think as you make contact with people whether verbally or by touch you exchange energy all the time.
Well I believe in the ability of water
attracting and conserving energy and
vibrations from its surroundings.
I also believe water is responsive to
written words and images.
If this is true, human being 70%
water, imaging all the things in our
surrounding affecting us.
Also I believe people with negative
vibrations and carnal bondage;
people in total disconnection
with their spiritual self
are energy vampires.
We are all vampires in a way.
The idea of transference of energy has been around for thousands of years. Some call it feeding but I don't like that term. You can take energy from anywhere. Some like it to be bioenergy and others take sexual which is associated but everyone in one way or another interacts with it.
Healers have dealt with energy...they are like a conduit that focuses the energy to its target. Where as those who need it do the same thing basically but they metabolize it. You don't need to have "prey", lol...thats silly and from books or an off kilter mind. People expend energy everywhere they go of all types. Empaths pick up on this and many times are very unsettled by it. They aren't always what some call psi vamps. Most of them are empathic. Some prefer negative energy and when they are around they will stir the pot and sometimes it isn't deliberate but just in their general make up.
Surely you have known someone like that who seems to always arrive and cause some sort of disturbance???
Its a subtle thing. Those who consider themselves to be mature say they can control it but if you don't get enough the unconscious will grab it. I prefer energies that do not come from people. I have the philosophy you take on things you then have to slough off from that person. I prefer from well I will say nature and nothing more. Anyone can learn energy manipulation but that doesn't mean they need it. What do you think enables magick?
Some people don't know they do this and they will be the one who is the last person at the party to leave wondering why everyone else wishes to go home and rest. Been there done that. You learn over time to control it if you are aware which has nothing to do with awakening...unless you consider that personally to mean just self knowledge...I personally don't. Not everyone has these and appears to me to be a philosophy of more modern times. The how do you do its to me is sort of something I wouldn't want to talk about. To me its like asking what people do behind closed doors...no difference. It's a very personal issue as vampyrics are not lab rats.
well teh psychic energies are in the cosmos ad around our surronding nature (greenworld) is enough. butthe mind attractd with the person do fetch emotional and sexual energy too its due to nature only nothing else and even sang do fetch the blood due to addict of that...
I am a psychic vampire too and i do grow upon all type of energies.... even i am autovampyre in sang very rarely when my psych lead to have taste of blood few times a year.
When i was making it a regular habit to feed i would just concentrate extra hard on the person i wanted the energy from and it would seem to flow from them to me.
I know some think it is a crazy thing but it actually isn't there are some that try to take your energy in a negative way where you are totally drained.
Wind also makes an excellent source of energy feeding someimtes better than another person.
You get outside and there is a good breeze blowing you can get a real lift just feeling the wind has helped me more than once to feed off the wind rather than a person.
Most of the time it's instinctual, and the feeder will do it mindlessly...sometimes, they don't even realize that they're doing it. Visualization also works, visualizing the person's energy, visualize it going into you to give you sustenance.
Sex, or any other activity that brings forth strong emotions, will usually aid in feeding and make it come more naturally.
vixxen, that's one of many interpretations of what a psychic vampire, or "energy vampire", is. It may even be a type of vampire, but it is definitely not THE definition, as I and many other psychic vampires have total use of our spiritual selves, and are perfectly capable of astral projection, which makes use of the spiritual self.
I sense energy..... It is like most people feel the heat of a fire, or see the beauty of the night sky, or hear the melody of their favorite song, or taste the perfection of their favorite drink....... It is automatic and I can only sense it when I am in a close proximity...... But I was feeding off my surroundings before I learned I was doing so.... You want to know what I feel? Ask yourself what you feel when the morning sun touches your face.... When you jump into a cool stream.... When you eat sleep or hear your favorite song..... Im willing to bet that you draw a certain amount of energy from all these things.... I simply require it.............
If you've ever been in a crowded dance club, or a silent classroom, you have probably "taken" energy from others. Think about it this way: when you're surrounded by high-energy, hyper, get-on-your-feet-and-MOVE people, most of the time you probably are infected with their lets get moving! attitude and feel your own energy climb. On the other hand, when you're sitting in a classroom full of the ticking of the clock and drowsy students, you probably feel sluggish and dull. That, too, is "feeding" off people's energy.
Also, many witches, Wiccans, and various other pagans hold "energy rituals" in which they share energy by visualizing coloured light streaming between themselves and others in a circle, moving faster and faster and faster, intertwining and re-energizing everyone in the circle. I have participated in such a ritual, and could feel the pulsing in the air almost, like a static crackle. Energy is as energy does.
As indicated by the responses here, all it requires is lots of imagination and a strong desire to believe that energy is somehow being absorbed or consumed.
There is, of course, no actual energy exchange taking place. Just because there is lots of different kinds of "energy" around us doesn't mean we are absorbing or even capable of making use of any of it. Thermal energy (heat) and electro-magnetic energy (light in all its varied spectrums) bombard all of us daily from all sides... yet we are not increased or decreased in energy by this. Our physical energy is derived from the food we eat and expressed or used by our bodies as required metabolically and muscularily. Our emotional, sexual, mental, spiritual energies are derived and expressed by our brains and our spirits as we choose to feel and express all such... which is derived indirectly from the health of our bodies based on the food we take in and the lifestyle we live.
Anything more than this regarding energy-"feeding" is simply self-deluding imagination... until or unless any actual and legitimate scientific studies indicate otherwise.

yeah I bet you blindly follow richard Dawkins too right upir?
there are many many things in existence that science hasn't a clue how to track, record and codify yet....not saying they won't be able to at some point.....but thats science is not the be all end all it's made out to be, the scientific community is well known for "hiding" anything that goes against it's status quo, or things that would turn some major concept on it's head
don't forget...the "science elite" of the time are who drove nikola tesla out of the spotlight and tried to say that only direct current worked properly...
while it's well known now that alternating current is more efficient
Daermon -
How deliciously ironic that my requiring actual legitimate evidence for energy "feeding" prior to believing in any such has me accused by you of "blindly following" an evolutionary scientist (what DOES Richard Dawkins have to do with any of this... btw?). Yet you, who has no more scientific evidence whatsoever for your quasi-religious belief in "energy feeding" than do Catholics for their own belief in "transubstantiation," consider yourself NOT "blindly following" such an evidence-less belief.
As for your pronouncement that there are "many many things" that exist of which science has supposedly no evidence... I would love to have you name one.
That's all... just name... one.
- Upir'
Define "mind," and I shall be happy to respond more specifically to your claim re: same. While science cannot yet read our thoughts, yet our brainwaves can be mapped and measured, thus providing strong and legitimate evidence that thoughts, dreams, etc., do exist. No such evidence can be found for "energy feeding." And I wasn't asking for scientific "measurements" but instead only scientifically legitimate evidence that when one claims to "feed" on another's energy that energy is indeed being exchanged (consumed by one and, thus, diminished in the other).
I, for one, would be more than happy to volunteer to be "fed" upon by any claimed "pranic" or "psy" vampire anytime... anywhere... and am most certainly that I shall perceive no decrease in my "energy."
- Upir'
However, science can't explain why we never use the huge portion of our brain that just sits there, or why people who use part of that have extra abilities.
Also, are you saying you've never felt the energy in a room and responded to it, either gaining or losing your own energy? I find that rather difficult to believe.
I believe you are referencing the false myth that we only use about 10% of our brains. This myth has been debunked by modern science (there's that "nasty" word again) for quite some time now, as can be verified online at many legitimate medical and scientific websites, including the following:
Neuroscience for Kids
Snopes.com
As for your second point, there is a huge difference between our emotional responses to our environment, which is exactly what our emotional natures are all about, and supposedly having someone parasitically "feeding" and consuming our energy. If you enter a room with lots of energetic, vivacious people, you will tend to respond to this in a positive emotional fashion. If, instead, you are around a bunch of depressed, sad, boring, selfish, antagonistic people, you are going to respond negatively to that. No where in either scenario does a "vampire" have to be present to cause you to respond to that environment as you do. No "energy feeding" has to take place to explain your emotional reactions to your environment.
To use a physical analogy... if you enter a room where the temperature is... say... 110 degrees, you're going to be hot! That doesn't mean you're "feeding" off of others' thermal energy; it's simply your body

Emotionally, spritiually, sensually, intellectually, and physically... we all react in all these ways to our environment and the people therein. None of this involves, requires, or is at all dependent upon the "consuming" or "feeding" off of others' energy.

Hmmm, some very good points you have made thus far ~Upir~, but then I remembered an episode of Ghost Hunters, when the TAPS team was visiting a so called "psychic". As pertaining to your sound presumption that there is no real proof that energies may be otherworldly connected and that they are but mental and physically aligned...
The TAPS team was wishing for the "psychic" to give them a reading. Following along with this, one of the members had the idea to tape the reading with an infrared camera. Sure enough, while the "psychic" was concentrating, an unknown event did occur. The "psychic's" energy field did reach out for the TAPS members energy field, and latched on. It was not until after the fields were combined that the "psychic" started to recieve the required information.
Now to put you in the spotlight ~Upir~, can you, and or science explain this one as relating to this thread?
Just skimming through a discussion board for the video, it seems skeptics are claiming that Grant (the cameraman, I guess) flicks his fingers in front of the screen, and that the supposed psychic's heat signature is really the heat from Grant's fingers. I wouldn't put it past a show like Ghost Hunters to distort their findings to make for a sensational episode.
Besides, since when does psychic ability translate into body heat? That would imply that anyone with supposed psychic abilities could manipulate heat and cause noticeable physical changes to their environment. To date, no one has demonstrated such an ability.
And, after finally seeing said footage, I have to agree. They faked the "evidence". Grant slides his finger in front of the camera as it pans over to make it seem like the psychic is pulling Jason's energy over to get a reading.
And here's a rather long discussion on the SciFi channel forums, discussing the docu-soap known as Ghost Hunters.
The show is staged.
Interesting thread for sure ….
I do take energy for use with witchcraft. Can I explain it … no, La6muerte66 said it all.
I find the challenges from Upirlikhyj that is isn’t real due to science not understanding it .. weak to say the least.
Science is only a concept or theories, they hold water till someone disproves them or confirms them or makes a better theory, then everything based on the old theories has to be changed, like the earth being flat.
So id keep away from science as total proof or at least word it better, ie current scientific understandings are in the dark ages again regarding supernatural theories, maybe the feeling you get as a psy vamp is a self chemical stimulation that helps confirm your belief or understanding that your taking energy and as of yet science has no way of knowing so far or in the immediate future. Possible because there is no drug to be made for mass profit or weapon of mass destruction, which does get all the scientist working on it. Our knowledge of the brain is still limited and only last month pushed back the time and understanding of brain death with the advancement of open heart surgery and ways to stop brain death…. Funny old world isn’t it.
Personally I feel this existence we live is based on the law of attraction, understanding this basic law of nature is it wrong to presume one can attract something from another.
I think your scientific skeptic logic will understand the Law of attraction?
*If something sounds too unbelievable to be true... it almost certainly is.*
• No you just lack imagination and resorces lol
Goddammit, I hate changing views in the middle of a thread.
*If something sounds too unbelievable to be true... it almost certainly is.*
• No you just lack imagination and resorces lol
No, lavisbre, it isn't that simple. Imagination alone does not get you anywhere. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and so far, none has ever been presented. We know our perceptions are flawed, and that our minds are fully capable of fooling themselves. It is because of this that we must use the science that we have to further our understanding of the universe.
Science is only a concept or theories, they hold water till someone disproves them or confirms them or makes a better theory, then everything based on the old theories has to be changed, like the earth being flat.
People always fail to understand what a theory is when referred to in science. Theories are confirmed when mountains of evidence points towards a conclusion and no one has ever been able to prove it wrong. It may be true that theories are updated and discarded when necessary, but using the "flat earth" idea is foolish. The only people who thought the earth was flat were VERY primitive and simple, and the only reason it held for so long is because it was written in the Bible. Anyone who had ever watched a ship sail over the horizon understood that the earth was curved.
A more accurate depiction of a theory being updated with new discovery is Relativity, and the Newtonian theory that it replaced. Newton was the first person to actually come up with formulas for the acceleration due to gravity, and they are still used today in the teaching of basic physics. It isn't until one works with very large bodies like stars or entire planets that the difference between Relativity and Newtonian gravity theories is even apparent. Very seldom are theories actually discarded, and very little is actually changed when they are updated.
So id keep away from science as total proof or at least word it better, ie current scientific understandings are in the dark ages again regarding supernatural theories
That's exactly opposite to the approach that one should take. Science (peer reviewed science) is the ONLY thing that can be considered "total proof", as awful as those words are for describing what science does (remember: logic, math, and alcohol). Current scientific understandings are what brought us OUT of the Dark Ages, and supernatural beliefs are no more founded today than they were 1000 years ago. It was (ironically enough) supernatural beliefs that brought on the Dark Ages, and it was science and reason that finally brought them to an end. There is no such thing as a supernatural theory. Thoughts on the supernatural are hypotheses, conjectures, and speculations. Until someone can provide ANY evidence for genuine supernatural phenomena, they NEVER WILL be theories.
maybe the feeling you get as a psy vamp is a self chemical stimulation that helps confirm your belief or understanding that your taking energy and as of yet science has no way of knowing so far or in the immediate future.
(Highlighted for emphasis.) A "self chemical stimulation"? Would you mind defining these terms? You're being vague and general, and that phrase specifically makes no sense at all.
If someone could demonstrate that taking energy has a beneficial effect outside of the mind, and that NOT taking it has the opposite effect, then science would be able to study it, and personally I think that would be a great place to start if you really think that it makes a difference. The wonderful thing about science is that you don't have to be able to directly observe something to test its effects. We can't see electrons, but through tests and the effect they have on their environment, we can divine their location or velocity (but not simultaneously ;] ).
Possible because there is no drug to be made for mass profit or weapon of mass destruction, which does get all the scientist working on it.
That's a gross misunderstanding of science and its motivations, and I'd have thought most people knew better than that. Just out of curiosity, what drug or weapon are string theorists, particle physicists, cosmologists, evolutionary biologists, etc. currently working on? Did you actually look these things up or did you just feel like spouting conspiracies?
Our knowledge of the brain is still limited and only last month pushed back the time and understanding of brain death with the advancement of open heart surgery and ways to stop brain death…. Funny old world isn’t it.
I'm not even sure what you're getting at here. Yes, the brain is an incredibly complex organ. That does not, however, mean that it is perfect in any way. I would liken it to a poorly-programmed computer, with faulty memory storage and poor recognition functions. There is very little about our brains that even hint at a higher capability. Part of the reason our knowledge of the brain is still so limited is because it's not exactly easy to take apart and examine a living brain, now is it?
Personally I feel this existence we live is based on the law of attraction, understanding this basic law of nature is it wrong to presume one can attract something from another.
I think your scientific skeptic logic will understand the Law of attraction?
Wiki: Law of Attraction.
This has nothing to do with science, and everyone who has ever made such a claim has been rebuked by every reputable and credible scientist to date. This was brought up before by someone who watched "What the Bleep Do We Know?", and I've already written at length about that movie and the outcry it generated (especially by the scientists who were misrepresented and quote mined by the movie itself). The scientific laws of attraction, or more accurately, Chemical Affinity, have nothing to do with the supernatural. No one has ever made a credible or genuine connection between the two, outside of their own fanciful imaginations.
Really …. Long post La6muerte66 lol
I do understand science, it is a business project that needs results to keep going!
The best one was an observation of baboons in Africa .. it showed stress patterns and due to an accident that killed half the troop, he found a rather nice society made with the none aggressive and subservient apes (hippies). Nobel winner.
We now know mars is alive, due to methane being released into the air.
That I thank science for … however science seems alien to us as it really has forgot as have we the spiritual connection with us and the universe.
No im not saying put the church back in to science or politics lol
I do believe in the Law of attraction, and feel complete when in nature, science cant explain that to me.
I think us living in concrete jungles makes us the way we are.
My comment on self chemical stimulation is something you must know about being so scientific lol
Every time we look at an attractive person our brain rewards us with a high that is also addictive…….. I was thinking along that line.
As for my comment about the brain and death were on topic I feel, yet don’t know what your getting at saying it’s hard to look at a living brain………..
Thanks for the link to law of attraction … nothing wrong with magical thinking.
I guess were all looking for something as science destroys the spiritual world .. maybe that is why it is such a best seller.?
still back to the post .. i agree with your points on feeding
transferring of energy happens all the time whether consciously or not. Some people have just learned to tap into other energy. Every been around someone that was really happy or sad and you find your mood chaging? You are subconsciously feeding off the other persons emotional state and it's effecting you.
The same Idea applies to feeding of of others energy. you take what you need and make it apart of you.
Alot of people feel calm at at peace in a forestor at a beach, part of this is ht e harmonious interacting of nature. When you stand it these places you become inveloped in the energy and it will have some kind of effect on your whether you consciously know it or not.
Many forms of mediation and magik are also based on priciples of maniuplating the energy of the universe to help with things from sickness, to concentration, to influencing a business deal

There is a huge difference between our emotional responses to our environment, which is exactly what our emotional natures are all about, and supposedly having someone parasitically "feeding" and consuming our energy.
That doesn't mean you're "feeding" off of others' thermal energy; it's simply your body reacting to its environment. Likewise, if you enter a cold room, you're going to soon feel cold. That doesn't mean someone is syphoning off your body's thermal energy. Instead... again... it's simply your body reacting to its environment.
Emotionally, spritiually, sensually, intellectually, and physically... we all react in all these ways to our environment and the people therein. None of this involves, requires, or is at all dependent upon the "consuming" or "feeding" off of others' energy.

Great post as usual, Upir. I'd like to add another analogy more akin to the emotional response.
Have you ever watched a movie where something tragic happened, and you felt bad for the characters? Possibly even to the point of crying over it? How would you explain that? Did the movie drain your emotions, or did you feel bad for the character and respond to the overall environment in the movie?
What about when you're watching an action film, and an exciting chase sequence is playing. You naturally feel a little excited and "pumped up". Does that mean you fed on the movie's energy? Or is it because you got excited over what was happening?
We respond emotionally to our environments. It has nothing to do with 'energy', but merely our own conditioning and response to certain stimuli. Have you ever been in a room that just felt wrong, for some reason? Even when no one else was in the room, you couldn't bear to be in it? More often than not, it's the aesthetics of something that we react to, whether we're aware of it or not. Colors, scents, sounds, all have the potential to invoke emotion out of a person. It has nothing to do with the supernatural. It's normal human conditioning.

Hate to have this sound like some sort of mutual admiration society... but your post was great as it went one step further in using the Scientific Method to help further reveal facts by isolating and eliminating from the analogy a few extraneous variables to better ensure the accuracy of the hypothesis: indeed... if a DVD is being watched at home with no one else around, and you find yourself inevitably responding (key word) to the emotions evoked by the movie... from whence comes the "energy" being supposedly "fed" upon? That's right... only from yourself. And it's not "energy" but simply your emotions DOING what emotions do... they make you FEEL happy, sad, energized, depressed, etc.
It's call emotional sympathetic response, something we all have as part of our emotional natures... and that has nothing to do with supernatural "energy-feeding" (*rolls eyes*).
If I make take this yet one step further in another analogy: consider a mosquito, one who truly derives sustenance from parasitically feeding upon a host. The medium of that feeding being energy... in the form of blood. Now... does the mosquito care at all whether the host is happy or sad, vivacious or depressed? Does the host's mood affect the energy in the blood? So also... neither would a host's mood affect the life energy they possess. Whether happy or sad, angry or depressed, one life energy is what it is... and while it might fluctuate a bit, yet so long as we are healthy and alive, that life energy is going to be strongly there. Thus... just as for the mosquito, so also for a true "energy-feeder," the emotional state of the intended host/victim would not matter one whit.
And yet... as we see here time and time again, people use the emotions they feel as evidence of energy being transferred and consumed... when the emotions of the host/victim would have no effect at all upon their energy.
One final observation: when a mosquito feeds, it withdraws blood... and while it is only a tiny amount given the small size of the mosquito, that blood loss can be detected thus proving that blood was indeed transferred from host to parasite. Yet when an "energy feeder" supposedly "feeds," no such energy loss is detected.
Oh... and before someone tries to counter this with by talking about Kirlian photography (and someone here will) that exhibits the "Kirlian Effect," don't even try it. As the name states clearly... this is an effect, only, and not an actual representation of factual measurement. It's an effect... not unlike the optical effect found in those "X-Ray Glasses" you could buy as a kid. Just as those glasses did NOT actually give you x-ray vision, so also photography exhibiting the Kirlian Effect cannot measure the actual "energy" of an object.

Upir.
just in response to your post to me. I agree with your analogy about walking into a hot room and not feeding , however if you put too bodies beside each other to use someones else body heat to stay warm. You and that person are feeding off of each others energy with little act of will. Many people are like this when you so elegantly put it as parasitically feeding on others. Alot of people do this without kind of feeding without knowing what they are doing which can be very trouble some to both parties.
Now this is not to say that some don't have the capacity to control this. Just has been my experience with many peopel on this site. Te like to syphon without permission
Your analogy is an interesting one, ReaperHunt... though I don't know if it applies to the parasitic ("vampiric") nature of fictional "energy feeding."
Whereas the concept of "energy feeding" has one person gaining energy from another, thus depleting that energy from the other... yet when two or more combine their body heat, as in your scenario, ALL are benefitted and the thermal energy of BOTH is increased. And that mutual benefit, by its inherent nature in increasing energy for both, is not parasitic ('vampiric") in nature at all... and thus, not applicable as evidence of "energy feeding."
- Upir'
as taking the thermal energy from one body
From what ive experienced......it just comes to you. You draw it out of them. You feel it and it attracts you....or maybe it is attracted to you.....its kinda hard to explain. At first it just sorta happens.......you get uplifted and they get more down....or in my case the other way around (If im a vamp im the worst one there ever was lol).....then you start to recognise it. You become more aware of how it feels and what you are doing......its sorta scary at first.
It is simple to me; you drink thru sex and feed off the energy thru touch and spirit. You play with them for hours on end and then have sex. By that time they are so weak they cannot move and you can. lol
I like the scientific view but its just the emotions I drink off of.. More of an empathic view I guess.
rajakitty -
We all like sex and the sensual and emotional pleasures and energies such generate. This description is nothing unique to the "vampire."
I did find it quite strange that you should then state... "You play with them for hours on end and then have sex. By that time they are so weak they cannot move and you can. lol" ... and read that you consider this having "More of an empathetic view..."

How I would feed off of people is usually I have to make eye contact with them and watch them if not talk to them for a little bit. By then their energy is up and flowing and if they don't seem offended by it then I just feed off the outer layer of the energy line. I don't want to take too much that can mess with peoples moods.
Theres alot of interesting things being said here . I,d like to come at it a different way , and try to describe how things have feed off me . I had enegy forcibly taken from me on many occassions , and it seems to me that psy vamps that attack on the astrall plane prevoke a response that they then feed off . Their presence alone is enough to cause fear , and it is this fear that they draw strengh from , fear weakens your mental and emotional state and thus your defences are droped . The psy vamp then can gain access of your astrall body and even manipulate your mental and physical responses it as it sees fit . As for the typ of enegy there after , that has varied on occasion , but for the majority of times it,s been from the lower chackras around the groin area ( sorry i don,t know the name of them ) and sometimes the heart . Other times it,s been genrall .I think the enegy they take can be given freely to them , or even used to overload them . With understanding and an ability to feel the enegys of which they feed it,s possible to reverse the process and when they come , feed of them . Although this is crule , in my oppinion if they want it they can have it .
Sorry about spellings
First, separate the fakes from the real.
The New Blood are not the same as The Pure Blood.
The New Blood are vampires that try to adapt to or imitate the abilities of The Pure Blood, but usually it's all in their mind for they haven't made the transition yet into the second death.
The Pure Blood live in second death and living this way they are connected to all things and people around them so taking becomes more automatic.
The second death is when your body sleeps while your mind stays awake. Even when you are awake and doing things all day, parts of the body must sleep when not in use. Then you'll be able to reach your hand outside of your hand and experience touch without your flesh. Then and only then will you learn what it means to feed.

I HAVE SPOKEN
message me for more information.
So now I am enlightened, vampires are people prone to adapt medical conditions, and I intepret them as confirming " paranormsl" experiences
So anybody that wakes up wousy has been victimized by a vampire.
How desperate is that? Thank you for being so concise, and revealing selective. You provided a vslusble clue as to what is convincing a lot of impressionable young adults they are somehow mytical creatures. Just ask a few leading questions about a persons sleep habits, chances are they experienced SH, or SP , the rest is in the conversion pitch.
Is that why I feel so ill today? Victimized by a vampire
Logical sleep patterns or even stress of economy has more people sleeping less today. This is not the age of old when all illness or fantasies of the mind where geared toward monsters in the night.
On the other end some in medicine press Rx to every symtom, ideal zealous personalities would rather drain the resources of those that adapt to the mutual benifit society, rather then a take, or be had. Goat, or Sheep are both herded cattle. The evidence is clear when leaks from professed community associated treat their" live stock" like toys.
I find it necessary to stir the emotions of a donor as well. Most threw sexual arousal but energy can be obtained threw fear, anger, hate, love, lust. Any base emotion emits energy which can be absorbed.
It's a matter of concentration and being able to control your own energy. It can also depend on the aura of the person. I know some people who are natural energy sinks. They just absorb energy non-stop whether they want to or not. According to a Wiccan high-priest I used to know, I am an energy pool. I give off unlimited amounts of energy. This may explain why I attract so many parasites.
I am an energy pool, as well, DJJarak. Though, I have learned to....reverse the flow. I play the victim to "feed" from and before you know it, I own the predator. I pick and choose which energy I am in the mood for and want to reflect at the moment. Does this make sense?
Don't get me wrong, I am not all about manipulation. Some are above that for me.
xoxo
I use visualization. I know, not very descriptive, but it's true.
I taketh energy on a base level by willing it into me.
I believe this, and other things such as magick, are nothing but forces of will. Granted, don't expect to fly or throw a *visible* fireball, but these things can be learned and these things DO exist.
. . . Just don't expect something out of Hollywood as I always say.
Sort of like a Pep rally or a concert. The energy is contagious. Only for some it is much easier to Siphon, manipulate and enjoy. This is how some artists are inspired. Myself included.
I find all of your posts completely entertaining as well as hilarious, save for as select few posts that actually have meaning to them and do not follow other posts with common sense answers.
Most of you seem as if you really think you know the "ways of the psi" vampire, when really... You are all just touting your own horns and agreeing with one another to establish a certain vortex of "we are all vampire, therefore we all agree because we can." Which is utter sh*t to begin with.
Sites such as the psychicvampire.org page are not the be all end all for vampiric information by any means. Just because I put up a webpage that is full of common sense knowledge that could be considered easy roleplay material to the naive, does not make it factual.
But that is okay since most of you are feeding off of the others posts anywho, thus creating that sort of psi-vampire atmosphere that you all seem to adore so much. Most of you are full of hooey and I will say this out loud and to your faces. Quit being followers already and manipulated by the whole "psi" "sang" idealisms. It only goes to show that the main stream "vamp'y're" community still has its infuence on youngsters like you.
For those of you that are keeping quiet and staying mature about it all, and either not posting because you know the truth... More power to you and I respect you more because you have not said a word for these little fish to follow the food. Nothing like telling the "We are" from the "Don't you wish" crowd.
And what is the truth, vvSoulshroudevv? hmmm.
Please, enlighten us. I have never seen this website you mention. The question was "how does one feed from others energy? It is a rather common occurrence. wouldn't you agree?
The truth is that no one does know what "psi" vampires are, since there is no such thing. It is simply another stereotype to put the vampire in, in general. For those roleplayers and lifestylers that take the vampire phenomena way to seriously like I have mentioned in the other thread.. Psi/Sang. I go into it in detail. Try reading the other threads before asking me questions such as this.
As well, if you were to go to that other site... psychicvampire.org instead of saying that you have yet to go there, then you would have no need to carry on in such a childish way of saying.. "ooh ooh ooh, tell me more!!" Which is rather annoying.
Those who would be the acclaimed "psi" vampires, would not tell the world what they are, but instead carry on in privacy since it is a bit of a personal thing.
So, are you saying that all 'real vampires' have the same personality, that all of them keep to themselves? Although I would think most would keep to themselves, I also find it possible vampires are still human, they still have different personalities and views. Not even one vampire would want to open themselves up to others? If thats the case I suppose they need no attention, which is shit because mankind is a race that lives in numbers, we socialize and desire others attention despite how much we try to hide it or how much we hate it. While most probably are fakes, vampires do not all have the same views and personalities, they are not superhuman, they are vulnerable to 'human ailments' and I would imagine some could be just as annoying as any 'human'.
The problem with your reasoning is that you perceive vampires like something out there, they are human as many other things out there that look and have different characteristic still remain vacant in the humane sense they are all from lyra. We are all the same but different animated bodies. We have the same right as every being we are just encased in a freaking trance of fear and manipulation. While we fight and destroy other feed of it. All in all vampire is a name for another things. Their could be such a thing as individuals that can drain someones energy but it is not a being is just a awareness trait, a very misunderstood one which does not remount in esoterics at all or thinking of being special in any case.
Well I have seen completely different beliefs by many people claiming to be an actual vampire.
"they are human as many other things out there that look and have different characteristic still remain vacant in the humane sense they are all from lyra."
By that part do you mean I think they are Starseed Vampires or is that your belief?
However I dont believe they are all in a "trance of fear and manipulation." That is more of a state of mind that most vampires actually have, but I think some aren't like that, we all think and percieve things differently. I just dont believe all vampires think the same, some could be confused about themselves or even unsure as to how they do what they do.
You misunderstood my post in an extension, when I said "we" I referred as in "us" in relevance of humans as a group. We are manipulated and implanted with fear. As for my belief in vampirism is not exactly in starseeds given that starseed are placed, this race were dumped here. It was the mission to be starseed and watchers as well as teachers but circumstances took a twist into another reality.
Ok, I understand that part now. When you say 'this race was dumped here' are you referring to humans as well?
And yes, manipulation through fear is the most common way among people. Although mankind has quite a stubborn nature, once we have our mind set on one thing it is nearly impossible to change our minds. Which is why I say logic and reason no longer play a major role in society. It is all about appeal, popularity, and manipulation. It is neglect of human intelligence that I think has led to that twist you are talking about. Can you further explain what you mean by "it was the mission to be starseed and watchers as well as teachers" Do you mean teachers for mankind and earth only or something else? (Sorry, sometimes your posts are hard to read, due to complication or typos, and are misinterpreted at times.)
First of all, I have a life so no time to read every thing here.
I rely on elders that appreciate their successors.
There are no such thing as vampires. Not how so many on here think. Mostly it is just a way of grab someones attention.
It is the mystery of the "legend" that is so appealing.
And for some, it is a reason to go on and on. So they have a chance to come off as brilliant. If you ask me, "what is a vampire?" I would have to say. You won't find one here.
We are not dumped, we are created out of existing bioforms in earth, As for the: "they were suppose to be starseed commentary"' It was the primary mission to influence a spark of comprehension in humans as a recent new race in our system, not to taint them in any way or intervene in our politics, social or intellectual means, as to be independent and just be guards and eyes in the shadows of our civilizations, just as "angels", I cannot brief more, although you are right on the whole analysis of our present status, but the "other ones" feed of the very malevolent design of our current condition as a group, I suspect we are deviating from the main topic.
I imagine tendrals reaching out from myself toward others. The the tendrals suck energy from the others around me. I only take what I need. Anymore than that , I've found to be walking around drunk on energy. It's actually not very fun. So I have learned to only take what I need and never drain anyone of all their energy. It's safer for me and those I draw from. Since I haven't found a donor yet, I usually find a crowd to feed from. That usually keeps me going for two weeks before I have to feed again.

Good Sir,
It would seem that you contradicted yourself... a lot!!!
You say there are no such thing as psi vampires yet you claim to now what they are and aren't. You make rude and unwarranted comments because the kin in this thread are being to general in their descriptions of how they feed and then don't answer the young lady's (Lilwhip) question of what you do know about the subject. You instead redirect all of us to a web site that tries to teach tolerance and understanding - something your statements in this thread lack.

If I may give a word of advice, in the future if you are going to preach so loudly don't do it from the pews.
lilwhip- The truth about vampires? One can only speculate, we may never know the truth about them. I however, stand by my belief that vampires have a touch of realism to them, nothing near supernaturl or subhuman.
IlLuminaria- I concur with the first sentence, we are a result of evolution. I like the idea that they are eyes in the shadows, like guardians. But what do you believe they do exactly? If they are truly our angels in the shadows, do they simple watch and judge or do they guide mankind in someway?
And if we didnt deviate from the topic, would this conversation still be interesting or even something worth talking about? it seems this post is a mix between this one and what the 'psi and sang' post has become.
This is a very interesting topic. I do believe in energy transference, I tend to use it in my work, I have personally seen the results of it when doing reflexology on my clients. Also many times, I have had clients who come in feeling completely drained, who leave ready to go and party. I also should ask if any of you have heard of Reiki, it is a type of massage that is use to balance the chakras within the human body.
I do understand that people tend to absorb the environment around them, so if the environment is up beat the person soon will be feeling happy and upbeat, and vice versa. But, I personally have experienced when someone cam into the place I worked, they come across fine and in a good mood. Then by the time they leave I and every one who has been in contact with this person feels as if their battery has been pulled.
This topic can be debated forever for there are always those who believe and feel and those who claim it is all just in their mind.
I for one believe there are people out there who drain energy from others, just as there are those who store energy and can help exchange other negative energy for positive, or even balance the energy within the body.
