Instinctively - do humans drive for balance, darkness, or the good in life?
well for the most part I would say that majority people seek balance, because with out balance there is chaos
I believe there are mostly driven towards balance, and whatever would create it.
For example, they may feel surrounded by darkness and do good, or vice versa.
A very interesting question, with potentially very interesting answers.
I have pondered this question many times.
We both fear, and want to be entertained by our darker nature. Some want are drawn to the darkness so they can project an understanding of the things that they fear, or even project a mastery of Darkness.
Being able to balance the darkness and the good in life is what balance is, isn't it? When we lean toward the darkness, we tend to stay there a while but the need to balance leads us to good eventually. The same goes for good. When we let the good dominate, doesn't it seem as if darkness creeps in whenever we aren't looking?
I personally want balance. Being aware of keeping that balance gives me better insight into myself.
Yes, I am sure many humans are drawn one to the extreme, since their process of understanding and self-identification is made out of duality. I believe that it depends on the circumstances who would go which side. There are those individuals which had pleasant useful experiences with something that is considered unnatural, or evil, and so, they automatically turn them selves to such way of expression seeing it fitting, no moral or ethical problems cause unsettling feelings by their choice and the sort of behavior that comes with it. There are those which had undesirable experiences with one side of the duality, and with that turned away from it, seeing it as unfit for their perception, expressing them selves only trough the light side. But circumstances can form those individuals as well, which as a result of those, both sides experienced as useful, fitting, and those tend to express them selves, and primary of course drawn, to both sides of darkness and light behavior. Those individuals might be understood as chaotic, since their behavior would be perceived as irrational, jumping from one side of the meaning to the other. I believe circumstances which are experienced, and how, are the ones which play the main role in the choices which the individual is making, and their sort.
Then there are those that find in the darkness, shade from that which is artificially bright. But when they embrace the darkness too much, they shiver.. and to some that shiver is a desired thing.. to others it is the source, and power to irrational fear.
Chaos is a random event and given what we know of quantum physics nothing is truly random as it can be predicted.
Entropy is more of an effect than drive. Entropy is a measure of the unavailability of a system’s energy to do work. How much useless energy there is in a manor of speaking.
dab - I like what you said about using the darkness to find the exploration and mastery of your own fears.
I use it to guide my poetry toward understanding human drives, emotions, thought.
Our behavior and how our "vision" effects that projection. In dark there is only feelings and silloutes. The best way to see in the dark, is to close ones eyes, something that only those who are truly comfortable in the dark can do, others they may only be in the shadows, as far as they venture. I bet you understand darkness on the metaphoric level..
Arch - Forgive me but it sounds as though you have a disconnect with human emotions.
It may sound odd, but I also see that as an intentional drive of meditation.
But everyone has a slanted view on meditation ;)
Forgiven
dab...being able to be comfortable in the darkness is the end result of being in the darkness for a long time I believe. Only when you can open your eyes to the darkness does it become comfortable.
Here is an expiremenrt, place three objects in a room, or better yet have someone else place them, then turn seal all the sources of light, and switch off the lights, now with your eyes open, try to locate those items by touch, then do the same with your eyes closed. if one is staring into darkness one is struggling to define light.
Good example of leaning on biased and specific sensory stimulus instead of the best sense resource.
I believe kinetic learning is a prime example of touching an innate part of you and redefining yourself to be more open to truth.
It's like one of the statements I live by: If a statement is correct the source is insignificant.
When you no longer search for the light and focus on the darkness, your sense becomes the resource.
Achieving the ability to be more open to the truth is so very difficult. The level of self awareness can become uncomfortable. I too believe the source to be insignificant. We often focus on the source as correct and the statement to be insignificant as it stands on its own.
Wanting to be in the dark, and being able to see the dark.. or in the dark, Is that contradictory?
I think we have a balance between the darkside and good of our existence. I think certain events in our life drives us one way or the other.
Some hot words here: instinct, drive, darkness, good in life. Juxtaposing darkness and good is problematic for me.
As a class, humans move toward balance and what will provide for their survival. Overall, that means the "good" in life, but there are trade-offs, or sacrifices, to be made along the way. Perhaps, a war must be waged, lives and property destroyed.
From observing humans and primates, it does seem as if society, culture and class takes its toll on individuals. Some members are never properly socialized, never fit it, and their behavior is disruptive to the whole.
Are they dwelling in darkness, letting their evil side deny them access to the good? Or are they the living sacrifice so that others might thrive in the benevolent light?
"Wanting to be in the dark, and being able to see the dark.. or in the dark, Is that contradictory? "
Do you wanna to point out the contradiction here pal?
'Cus I can't see any.
Why wouldn't someone that wants to be in the dark, be able to see it too?
You don't make a lot of sense, y'know?
"Instinctively - do humans drive for balance, darkness, or the good in life?"
What does instinct have to do with morality, huh?
And where do you get off equating the darkness with what isn't "good in life"?
You remind me of the people who equate the dictionary definition of "black" with Africans.
It hardly seems fair to assume that people who like the darkness, are not good, or balanced.
perhaps, easier to self doubt then self worth?
This is a horse of a different color, darkness as self-doubt or depression or worry, rather than drawn to the supernatural.
I don't think we're instinctively drawn in this direction, toward self-doubt.
More like we're taught.
Also, there may be some genetic predisposition, and also environmental (drugs) conditions that may affect how the brain perceives.
This is like asking why do some people see the same glass as half-full while others see it as half-empty. To me, this is one of the fundamental differences I see between people.
Some expect to find a solution to a problem even after some error, or even calamity. Others roll over and wallow, spewing out their bitterness in as many directions as possible.
I say that it depends on the human. Some go to the extremes, and others try to keep balance.
i think a dark morality can be shaped by experience(driven to it through mental trauma or hate) or chosen and can be instinctive,me for instance i am all three because i choose to be evil and life experience made me hate humanity and in terms of instinct i have always felt a pull towards darkness a desire to inflict pain and suffering upon people.
mankinds morality is not limited to darkness, but everyone does have a darkside whether they know it or not
Humans are easily corrupted creatures. Naturally they are drawn to darkness easily.
A alot of people I would say go forthe balance
Some do go for the dar k
another part of people go toward the good
It all depends what happens in their life as they grow and get older
*Chuckles softly* This tends to back to the question of "Nature v.s. Nurture".
The problem is that Light, Darkness, Balance, Good, and Evil, are all products of our own design. These are Ideas that have been formed by "Society" and "Higher" thought. Putting these "Idea" in the same question as with "Instinctive Nature" tends to be abit contradictory. Survival has little to do with "Good" and "Evil", "Light" or "Darkness". These are often learned behaviors all depending upon the enviroment in which one is raised.
corruption and evil are two very different things,i know i am evil the differance is hard to see because of similar methods but there is a line between them evil kills for pleasure, fun or the sheer act of evil and sometimes power but corruption kills for money, political gain
LOL "Evil" is merely a discriptive of an action for intent. And tends to be fluid depending on ones point of view. LOL What is an "Evil" action to one is merely "Survival" to another. LOL
an evil action maybe used for survival but evil as in an evil person do what they like, both the action, intent and the person themselves are evil, survival is what everyone wants and can't have.
evil is not as common as people think for example a killer's actions maybe evil but the person himself/herself might be just insane, disturbed or desperate.
a true pure evil person is no where near common.
Survival has little to do with "Good" and "Evil", "Light" or "Darkness". These are often learned behaviors all depending upon the enviroment in which one is raised.
-- So we're on the whole.. is there an absolute right and wrong.
I tend to believe so.
yes there is an absolute right or wrong but they are not common, you don't meet a lot of people who would sacrifice themselves for others or a pure, dark and evil being who only wants to cause terror and chaos and has little little interest in money(like me),good and evil are part of each other there is no shadow without light
I only ask because, if there is an absolute, then there is the idea that instinct can play a role.
i do believe instinct plays a role, i don't just choose to do what i do i am also compelled to do evil, its a natural predatory instinct to prey on the weak and i listen to my instincts, its also possible evil can be inherited,my father is evil but not like me i am pure evil.
the answer to the question is simple "yes instinct does play a role"
I think it depends on the culture, depends on the person, and depends on the definition.
In most Western cultures, the cosmos is painted in shades of "good" vs. "evil" with people seeking to be on the side of "good".
In other cultures the goal is balance.
In the US, we're a mix of enough different cultures that you have entire sub-cultures that see things one way, while others see the world differently.
Many of the orthodox religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam) are going to paint the world in absolutes of black and white, good and bad, with the believers falling on the "good" side of the equasion. Christianity has several denominations that take a less orthodox approach (perhaps "less absolutist" would be better phrasing), but they're still going to see themselves as the "good" combating the "evil" in the world. The definitions of what comprises "good" and "evil" would be different though.
-i am also compelled to do evil, its a natural predatory instinct to prey on the weak-
LOL Just because it is a natural predatory instinct to prey upon the weak does mean it is evil. It is all about survival.
Does one concider the Orca evil because it plays with its food? Or does one concider the Lion evil because it goes after the weak sick and lame of its prey? No. The is just nature.
Instinct is Instinct. Survival is Survival. Evil is a concept created by those who sought to put boundries on the world. Evil and good were boundries created by those who sought to control the natural order of chaos.
and p.s evil and good were not created they were merely named, good and evil has always been here and always will be
*Chuckles* So in the begining thee was Good and Evil, and from them was created all things. Interesting idea.
i believe life is about choice,
and
i believe there is a cursed,somewhere.
enter the dark or been there,is not only from the born.
and yes, human are created.so,whatever in the world is possibility as well.
I did not have thrown to dark world till i did not start such exercise... I led to divineness..
but there was one point when i started testing the divine exercises and along with this i did try expanding my senses such as try to move through eyes farward after teh visual range and after the blocked obstucled and moved to other way when wall come in the way of vision for example I am watching the door in front of me as passage to move for the vision and tried to see what is other side of the door and even after that...
in hearing regard i tried to hear from other place...
sense of smelling i tried to expand
I did nearly half exorcism thanks to blows each time to dim bulb of mid night which broken my conentration or i was not knowing to handle the entity infiltered through the gateway of exorcism
I wont mention the exercises which clicked the para-psychic experiences started happening to me. but i did start focal base and divine concentration base psychic exercise...
its though i was doing oftenly, that started the reactin from para-psychic to happen in my home or around which thrown me to psychic world in search of answer to my quests and to safeguard my family. being famioly head it was my prime duty and now i am very much comfortable and stable in my materialstic world with intervening the dark world.
coz my entrance is now both side divine as well as the dark side...
i did read much literatures to assure myself that my family is self now ad para-psychics won't harm my family.
I am the creature of darkside which bonded not to have bad aims from the dark world. Yoga says harm to none and heal if it is possible.
Depends who, I am drived for the three of them.
Then it also depends what you mean by darkness for me it is the mystery.
Storm, I understand the different view points... that's why I was asking if there was an absolute right and wrong.
A few people said yes. So then I was asking for thoughts compared to those rights/wrongs.
It's all abstract as we would not know the absolutes, unless we were speaking mathematically, and we're speaking morally.
But was trying to take out the obstacle of culture in the theoretical argument.
i was not talking about cultures with dark beliefs,i was talking about evil itself, pure undiluted evil which cannot be explained,it trancends explaination as evil is not something you can truly see,you can only see its mask.
evil is in hearts humanity as well as the light sometimes people have both aspects while others are dominated by a side.
absolute evil and good cannot be explained with science or maths because its not just a choice, its an unknown emotion fueled by other emotions(negatives and positives),its also a feeling,an instinct and a desire.
its different with everyone and everyone has different pov of it.
I think that humans are sometimes driven toward darkness because we all have a lil darkness in them. Some just repress it and other embrace it.
hmmm I dont think its the darkness humans are drawn to its the supposed freedoms that the darkness brings.
the ability not to care what others think, the ability to make your own rules,no worries about doing something illegal.
Those are all tempting things that about 90% of the people in the world want.
Well all humans have a dark side it just takes some longer to realize it and thats when they think they were driven to a darkside.
we are driven to survive - whether that involves going beyond the norms of our particular society depends on the situation. Define "darkness" for example
Odd how people will claim to be drawn to the darkness, or the dark nature as they call it, yet then they take one step further , and claim mastery over the dark.. Now in metaphor, that is really telling to a majority of those that claim to be "Dark".
What limited spectrum some have of what is dark, example, if a junior hign, suburban kid tells me something is "Tripped-out-weird" There is a chance, that I would find his "Tripped out weird" to be "amusing, but not "Far out". One mans Dark, is another mans shadow..
all this talk of light and dark good and evil and the blance that falls in between but what if is truly dark and truly light what is good or evil
i for one have never belived in the conspet of that
i belive in surviel
for exampel if i need food i will still it if i need shelter i will kill for it
i will do what i need to survive
but humans by natuer are base and need things in there live to valadte there own exstince
i chose to live as an animal in the fact that i dont need your light or dark i need to survie if that means im detached from realty then so be it
SonOfLoki...My point exactly. LOL LOL LOL Light and dark are all fluid as to what one believes in. The higher mind creates what is right and wrong. But the baser needs. Baser instincts. These are not concerned with what is right and wrong. Only what one needs. It is when the necessity of action for survival is no longer a matter, that we start to say one thing is wrong, dark, or evil, and another is right, light, and good.
I use to tell people that I was capable of slitting the throat of the Pope while he kneels in prayer without a second thought. Does this make me an evil person. I do not believe so. I believe that I know what I am capable of and for what reasons. Evil and Good, Light and Dark have nothing to do with it. It is purely Survival.
most people have a side that wants the approval of society...some even want to just do things that make other people happy.
some people want to be dark and seek the dark...i think that is the minority however.
i am part of both
I personally believe that Humans are born with Good and Evil within them....
it's the choices they make that will direct them onto the path they are meant to take....
Hmm. I think on a certain level, humans are irrevocably drawn to the darker side of things. It all depends on their strength to resist, and to what extent.
well for one no human is a like so you are going to have a very good mixture for them all
i think it depends on the way human view their life some have had such horrible lifes that they just don't care anymore they never saw the good so why be it, then there are the one who have had a bad life too but look at ways to bring good into it,
i said before that good and evil are choices but they can be more,i am not going to repeat myself.
there is another paththat is dark and light,ORDER and CHOAS,they usually labeled as good and evil but its not entirely true, take "order" far example the plus is-- peace, quietness, suburban bliss and the negative is in order to get that you would have to eliminate liberty(free will) and oppress people with laws that are not needed
chaos(i better say this from a neutral pov b/c im evil)
the plus-- free will of course, being able to do anything you want
the minus(well only tothe goodies)
free will of course, being able to do anything you want,in this case absolute violence and destruction.
Good point, SonofLoki.
I perceive good and evil to be as societal values dictate. Sometimes those get a little blurry, but generally you have the area in between.
Though, it can be argued that there really is no such thing as either. We could simply be instinctive animals. In that case there would be no right and wrong. There would only be survival and the aim to improve your own situations.
And this question is asking for the instinctive side of things. So I guess, if that's the case, humans are drawn to none of those options. They are only driven by the desire to survive and create the best circumstances they can for themselves.
Evil is ultimate way to live no remorse, morality or blinding positive emotions like love, kindness.
just absolute free will, fueled by emotions such as rage and hate makes you powerful(especially in hand-to-hand combat)
causing untold violence and terror is amusing
but unfortunatly it comes with a hunger to do more chaos and destruction, that why some people get because they get careless and succumbs to the hunger
Evil is freedom from the world and humanity
i do have more to describe but i don't have the time
causing untold violence and terror is amusing
but unfortunatly it comes with a hunger to do more chaos and destruction, that why some people get "caught" because they get careless and succumb to the hunger
i missed "caught" out in the last one
There is no absolute good or evil outside of us. Evil is not an entity, nor is good. Evil and good is societally and individually defined and come out of us into our world. We can be evil or good based on our deeds and our thoughts. Self-definition one way or the other solidifies in the brain like a lodestone and decreases flexibility, thereby hampering survival.
i never said that good or evil is an entity, evil and good are ways of life
they are deeds, thoughts, actions and so on
and there is an absolute evil and good but its within a person not outside,
evil in someways is like an entity because the way it spreads through suffering, like a ripple effect twisting people's thoughts and feelings until they become insane or evil themselves
Honestly my oppinion dont mean much to people thats fine but when it comesto the different between light and dark depends on the person we all have our darksides and people word things differently so that everyone thinks that it is make believe when it is real they are basically trying to pull a con job on others and alot of time it works unless you know about the topic at hand.
Odd how people want "darkness" to entertain them. As mentioned people want to be accepted for their "dark" side, the projection that they are comfortable in the dark, yet they still want others to be mystified by the darkness. Wouldn't darkness be about isolating ones self from view? To be drawn to the dark could it mean one does not want to be seen? So standing in the dark, and calling out.."I embrace the dark!" Seems a bite contradictory to me. When those that declare an affection for the dark shun uncommon behavior, or morally slanted people?
SonofLoki and Oni are correct.
Good evil are but terms used by society.
We have all been tamed by society to act in a certain way. We were born to with a base nature to survive.
Take away all you have now. Food, Shelter, Family everything. Throw you out to survive on your own and you will do what you have to. You will kill, steal. Morals like right and wrong, good and evil no longer apply.
Basic Maslow.
And yes we all have a dark side or shadow (Jung) *giggles* sorry couldn't resist.
good and evil were named so but what they are has always been within us,and as for stealing and killing for survival,no its not evil it is instinct.
evil and good are just choices or terms, like i said before
they are thoughts,actions and feelings.
someone can't just wake up one morning and choose to be evil and then cause chaos, the said person would have to had these thoughts and feelings for a long time or at least have beeen driven to it.
the sociopath is differnt to pure evil, the sociopath is caught between good and evil but obviously leaning towards the dark side, they are sometimes if not always emotionly or mentalily unstable and usually kill if they "think" there is threat to them and a lot other reasons.
Evil well pure evil anyway kills just for the fun of it and likes to toy with their victims first sometimes even letting them go so they can hunt them downan evil person revels in their violent nature.
I think for the most part, humans TRY to seek balnce in their lives but some of those people fail and are driven to darkness.
It is society that sets the rules and man follows. Why do we divide everything into sides? Who decides what is dark? If you wear black and certain makeup styles does that make you dark? I don't think so it just makes you like certain types of clothing and makeup...nothing more. There are those that would say that person is dark just because of what they wear and it can be very far from the truth. Are we driven towards it? Well if you can figure out what that is perhaps to immerse ourselves in what we think is dark and some go to extremes but why is what some term the light so much better? Anything can be too much and overload and voila you are now moving over to the darkside. It's merely a perception and most won't agree on that. Don't forget to turn on your nightlight :)
Being drawn to the dark, and being comfortable in the darkness are two separate things. The reason for being in the darkness, varies, some to hide from inquiring eyes, others to hide their activity. We can project our selves as mysterious in the dark to others in the dark, but is one persons dark shade to others?
I feel that mankind is a curious being, and that is how it learns, so it would be curious about all concepts it may generate in an attempt to understand their origin and meaning.

for the most of people id say balance but not everyone wants balance

The world is all about balance. For every "good" person there's a "bad" one. When you sleep, you're body works to become perfectly balanced. There are enough plants to make the air we breathe as well as enough animals to supply them with CO2..... I believe that as infants, all we want is balance. To live in the perfect world is ideal but too many people have become fucked up and all children know how to do is imitate.. that's how they learn... so...... *shrugs*
I think that most people look for a smooth balance in their lives. Although that doesn't always happen.
Re: being willing to do "anything" like kill or steal in order to survive.
I couldn't disagree more.
There will always be heroes. They emerge in every society, even in time of great duress, even when putting their own lives in jeopardy.
I'll repeat: Self-definition one way or the other solidifies in the brain like a lodestone and decreases flexibility, thereby hampering survival.
Specialization in pure "evil" or pure "goodness" probably doesn't advance our survival. Our adaptibility --- problem solving and emotional acumen --- are equally important.
We're gifted with both.
What is "Good" and "Evil"? To each person this may vary. The only real way that this does not vary, is if one bases their opinion from what someone else believes. Or by chance.
I personally believe (like many out there) that all things came from the same source (what that may be, no one really knows). If all things are from the same place, then the are all acceptable. There would be no in between or separation.
With this mentioned, you can gather that I believe nothing to be "Good" and "Evil". I also consider it a natural tendancy for all Mankind to drive toward all aspects of life and death.
I think that Family Upbringing, Culture, Religion , Education and overall influences in an individual's life determine the path they take, so there would be no absolute answer to this question.
Although, generally speaking and defined, Light and Dark are opposites, there is much gray area between them. As well, what one may consider to be Dark (or Light) can differ from person to person. The thing about Darkness that may be alluring to some is that with Darkness comes the unknown and unexplained; peer pressure, human nature and curiosity might tempt us to delve into places we normally would not.....
Darkness stirips us of a sense, or dulls us. A dark area (every town has one) and a group of wondering teens (told that the area is forbidden (as it is "Unknown what could be in their during dark hours) will they go there? Yes they will. Will some bring flash lights? yes they will.. will some want to use the preconceived notions of dark places to test the metat of their friends? Yes they are very likely to do so.
I would say as a species humans are more naturally driven to the light. Light means safety, or it at least means you can see the danger coming.
We are also driven to do good, after all how could a species grow over the planet in such a way as we have done without having a natural instinct to protect its self.
If someone turns from the light, or commits evil acts it is usually because they are possibly in some way damaged. ...That’s not always a bad thing, I myself find the darkness comforting, and are drawn to bad people. But that’s just how i see things.
Do you walk through dark areas at night? Especially areas that have reputations?
It would seem so especially for people that were raised in religious families. I'm only saying so since I was raised by two wonderful parents and they're both ordained Baptists. But yet I don't yearn for what they do. I crave something darker.
I think humans strive for what ever they feel is best for them selves. I think humans are also curious about things that are shunned by the general population and so they tend to try and get into it to see why it is shunned
that honestly depends on each person i think.
each one has their own thoughts on what they might want from life if they are after something no matter how they acquire it than they would be heading toward darkness.
most though i feel honestly do want good out of life or at least a happy medium of balance although some might have something happen in their lives that affect them and they would end up going toward darkness after all.
I go for all of those , but ALWAYS wind up on the darker side .
its easier to bad than good...I believe that because we are all imperfect we all lean to the darkness...its in our nature to. its a more of a struggle to do the right thing all the time i think
I disagree, you choose what direction you go, you simply have to attempt to find the "good", or find the "evil". Neither is harder to find than the other, you find an animal that has been injured, do you care the wound, or give up on the animals life and put it out of its misery? the only factor would have to be how hard you want to try to bandage and take it to a facility, or how hard you try to find an item to kill it.
I would say that people are not born good are evil it is the choices that they make in there lives that make them one ore the other. So I believe that most people are balanced light and dark.
Humans are incapable of being drawn to one end of the spectrum. This could possibly be attributed to the effects of propaganda on people which teaches them to falsely reward sub-concious desires with material consumerism and to override the rational mind. Again I still look to history and find the biggest differences is in not only the propaganda, but also what was culturally acceptable. It must be kept in mind that the age when you were considered an adult used to be about five years younger, so there would be nothing unusual about a pregnant 13 year old. In fact it was culturally accepted. Today I think we undersell our children, and as a result create a tension that is only likely to increase frustration between the old and the young. Rather I say view them as intelligent beings and offer them not only a way to be responsible, but also freedom to the degree of their responsibility. (i.e. if you have the ability to pay for yourself a child and a wife, than you can have whatever sex that you will take personal responsibilty for.) Drug usage was also highly revered for religious reasons, hence the original definition of shamanism, and it was not only acceptable but normal if not all children went to school. So I'm not so sure that we've really gotten worse, but I am relatively positive we have become much stricter in certain areas. I say that sometimes this is for better, but other times... not so much. What do you think?
I thank you went off-topic, the pull of good and evil, I do agree that it is by choice of actions.
Haha, I think you are right! I tend to do that. I apologize.
humans are not all driven to one partiular thing or another as an entire group. We are too complex and different from one another.
well i am crying that why i led to go on often testing of exercise to check whether i can do these exercises and why i tried to do new things.
If I ould not do those all, am not thrown to dark world to the quest and i wouldnot addict to dark sites on net.
I think the values of light and dark are taught to us as we grow from infancy. With out being taught consideration or ethics, unless there is an event or chemical imbalance humans will do what is necessary to cater to their own needs and wants towards survival. Society, Environment and upbringing determines what is light and what is dark.
in my particular case 'yes', but i supose it depends of, i know some persons that are really light persons and dark don't touch them
Well I think people are drawn to all 3 and as for the darkness, everyone is drawn to it is like the forbidden fruit par-say to people, yet I do agree that some people would not even dare think of the dark side of anything because the way they were raised or just scared of what it may hold or unleash within themselves if they go looking to anything that is on the darker side of life.
Balance is the main thing though we cannot have the Balance without the Chaos of light and dark it is how things work. Just my opinion.
