i don't think that we just go away into complete nothingness once Death sweeps us off our feet. i have dealt with numerous ghosts in my time which is proof enough to me that there is some alternate dimension of exsistance.
the fact that deamons (or at least not so good spirits labeled as deamons) have possesed people before, suggested that things from the other side can conntact us.
and well the fact that these "deamons" have been removed from people before suggests that we can interact back at them.

I belive that there my be an underworld.

I believe in reincarnation. I also believe that there is no heaven or hell. We come back as many times as we choose until we decide to stop then we can become guides to the living.

Yes. I believe there is an Underworld, or atleast some form of dimensional back alley where the more sinister entities meet and scheme with one another, among other things. But, my belief doesn't stop just at an Underworld, it carries into the whole idea that there are as many different dimensions and alternate universes as you can possible dream up or imagine.

I dont believe in the Heaven/Hell concept, btu I do believe in other dimensions. I think that contaact can at times be made with whatever else is out there, but Im not thinking baout fire and brimstone. However, I also dont really have time for theories of reincarnation.

i'd have to say yes. but that is because i dont rule anything out when it comes to death or life there after. i tend to lean more towards reincarnation just for the basic fact i believe i've met a person from a past life because there was a strong sense of knowing who they really were. as well as feeling older than the physical body. but if you believe, anything is a possiblity, it all depends on your mindset

to each his own...I believe in several planes that coexist along side each other, and that occasionally for whatever reason, they have a tendency to overlap-there are too many things that simply can't be explained away scientifically otherwise-then again, cavemen threw rocks at the moon because they didn't understand it either...lol

I can't remember who said it, but I agree most closely to the statement about overlapping. I tend to believe that dimensions exist alongside eachother, and that if the right energy is manipulated, the dimensions can be crossed. Indeed, Daermon and I have had interesting experiences regarding such things.

So, do you believe that there is a moral or ethical law regarding travelling from one dimension to another?

oblyvia...I don't feel that ethics plays a part other than to be judged by the moral standards of our society in our participating in such acts of communing with otherworldy beings.

We are essentially existing at the lower level frequencies of our being and are transient in nature, so, for me, the otherworld is the eternal reality and this life is but a dream.

Interesting Stab. My fiance was just saying something similar the other day...that we are very possibly the dream of the otherworld's reality.

yes, indeed...I believe in reincarnation principles also...that the soul invests its conciousness in a physical body in order to experience a predetermined path of life, just to know certain pains, loves, sorrow, etc...we choose our own path between lives...similar to the Aboriginal dream time theories...

I think the underworld exists for the lost souls that can't accept they are dead, or even the souls who were lost when thier bodies were killed experiencing astral projection.
