Please Put your Precious opinion and thoughts over the Existance of the Supreme Cosmic Spirit.
And do you believe in it? If yes then what form it will be or what features of it be...
If no then why not...
In my opinion there might be one supreme cosmic spirit which can impact both on elements and matters and conscious and beings...
and its attached to every being and matter and our conscious is the part of its superconscious...
yes i do believe in the grand architect, call it what you will, there is most definetly one.
I do believe that there may be a Supreme Cosmic Spirit or something out there.
The reason being there are many things in this world that nobody can explain. Things happen that go unexplained no matter how many skeptics try to disprove it because it ends up proving them wrong.
Yes this is my opinion too in this multi-sphere multidimension world there must be one supreme above the all beings and matter which regulating the things...
what that will be? is that matter only or being...
I feel always my conscious touched when i try to seek that supreme through conscious seek. But could not find out what is touching me... its drowning... but its feeling only ... thats why I loved t work on conscious till 2 years ago...
i believe there is one cosmic energy higher than the rest, call it a god if you will a god of many different faiths and belief systems but i do think it exists and could all possibly be the same one but with different names and different worships
but what i do question is do i believe in it because of faith meaning it being there before all time or do i simply believe in it because my mind created it in need for something bigger to believe in.
for all we know it is possible that we all created our very own supreme being in our very own minds to replace something that was missing or void in our lives at one time or another.
Quote: "Do you believe in The Supreme Cosmic Spirit?"
A Question should be, "Why is the Supreme Cosmic Spirit, has the "title of Supreme?"
There are MANY different forms of life as we know it, to the smallest, then to the bigest... And there is "life" in the Multi-Uni-Verse, "the different types of known spirits and so on...". For a example; Just because a ant does not understand about the human life, a human life can not understand about a Supreme Life.
With a rock plant just perfect enough to support life as we know it called Earth, and the outter, inner Galaxy with a nother support network, if humans are not too busy with war beable to advance into space... As the indigenous people of the past was able to find the life- so to beable to live on. And with what has happened to the history of the world and future of humanity, it is just perfect enough for life as we know it to being able to live on and supporting the advancement, with just so, just enough so that humanity can and will live.
With what I am trying to say in all of that, is that with the history of the world, and the many levels of life, the known life in our own part of the Multi-Uni-Verse is just right enough to support our needs at certain stages of humanity advancement.
Maybe a "Supreme Spirit-God" knows, and understand while he "created it all, at, and before the begining of the Multi-Uni-Verse".
There is a human saying, and it goes as, "Looking at the bigger picture"... Only if humanity can understand that while doing everyday things in thier lives, with knowing that there is a "Supreme Being" that does, and can see-understand about humanity.
A supreme cosmic spirit ? Yes I believe that there is.
However as to what form it takes I have no idea.
Mostly I think of "it" as being a parent to all of creation.
The post that Sinora made, made me think alittle deeper about the Question(s).
Apart of Sinora's Post:
Mostly I think of "it" as being a parent to all of creation.
It, being as what we know is, as could be the Supreme Being God. If the Supreme Being God, as we know it created this Multi-Uni-Verse; What type of a "Uni-verse" the Supreme Being God came from? Since this Uni-Verse was made, created from the first being the Supreme Being God.
I honestly think that the "real true answers" about life is from the time when 'before' the creation of this Uni-Verse. Even if there is a time and place, who would of created the 'before' of this Uni-Verse; And if there could be a 'Higher' Supreme Being God, then the one of this Uni-Verse.
I'm not going into detail but I heard the math as to whether there was merely randomness to what we call creation or if there seemed some intelligence behind it and I have to go by the numbers which clearly showed astronomically that there must be some intelligence. (Heard it on the radio in the 90s) I doubt it is a he or a she. I doubt it is anything more than some sort of sentient energy form or maybe pure thought but something we don't understand and quite frankly I don't think is personal. Beyond that I don't know, so I guess in a sense I am an agnostic because I really don't have enough information. Therefore, for most it will boil down to belief. I believe there is something but I don't know exactly what it is unfortunately beyond what some assume.
yes, I do believe that something alot bigger than we can conceive is out there and has created all the universe.... It just is still a big mystery for us, as to what or who..
yet, I think everyone believes there is one higher being, whether it be in our faith , religion or just belief in general.
long yet, yes to the question ..
Yes in my opinion if the supreme being is there it can change and able to change and control the matrix. Honorable Steelindigo Matrixdoes not take place unless there is conscious with the spirit... It also is the result of bio-chemical-matter-dark matter process in the universe... this may be the reason the pyramids are constructed on mathematic basis of the astronomy and its true that when you enter the pyramid the matrix start changing and changed withinfew minutes till an hour... this changes even behavior of the animals such as dogs or cats. it takes control of heart beats too...
Matrix can changed by effort of conscious or the superstructure such as pyramids may it be small in size and of plastics...
There is a good chance that a Supreme Being exists. The difference in the many versions of this Supreme Being lie in our different perceptions of the world around us.
I think it's very possible that this Supreme Being is what makes up all faith and religion in the world and people see it from different perspectives. None of these perceptions is wholly right or wholly wrong, for they only touch upon the very beginning or surface of that which is Supreme.
Whatever this being is, I also believe that all living things share in its power, having the ability to decide and do for the self whatever it is that one wishes. That innate ability lies in most people and it is either dormant or quite awake and aware.
I do believe in a cosmic spirit or energy that we are all connected to. It has no physical body and resides in us all. It is a great consciousness that we are all a part of, and everything we learn and do goes back to that consciousness, as the universe is always expanding and growing.
Yes Honorable NightangleGale the chance is always till it is discarded by science and science never discard the matters beyond its reach...
Honorable Gordon, oyu vision is precious and others too... this multi entwined universe is really very big and to other sphere of universe our materialstic world what we see is may be the mirage or dream as we think of ghost etc...
well ther is opinion that at the time of Ice Age till the Co2 melted te ice, the alien beings saved species of earth. this can not be happened if any species advanced than the human... if any space craft reaches earth from other species exist on other planet or star, shows that there may be possibility of beings superior to human... may this be probability but human think of this and if human think at such a determined level, there must be much more than the human thought in this line...
even in so2 or other poisonus content of water of 70 dee centigrade the life taking form on this planet...
this make much more probability oflife on other planets and there mustbe more advanced form of species living somewhere which have aces of reaching us and watch over us... butwhat about the Supreme.. this may be beyond all species... may be linked to us at the source of living form took existance...
see here prbability of life in one Note
on http://ces.iisc.ernet.in/curscinew/25nov98/articles12.htm :
The question of life beyond Earth is intimately related to the origin of life itself. Is there an origin of life? There are two lines of thinking about the way life first emerged. If life arose from abiotic processes, then it must exist everywhere, wherever chemical and biological evolution can lead to conditions that are suitable. Origin of life should, therefore, be an inevitable consequence of laws of physics as inherent in the Schrödinger’s equation. With about 200 billion stars in our galaxy, and over 100 billion galaxies in the universe, we must have a large number of hospitable planets on which life could exist, as can be predicted by probability considerations given by the Drake equation. In our galaxy alone, the number of life-worthy planets may range between one and a million. The only limiting factor would be the small fraction of planets on which life can originate since origin of life is the most improbable event. Communication with such civilizations would be further restricted by the fraction of them which are technologically advanced enough to communicate and the length of time such advanced civilizations can survive extinction against natural or self-made catastrophes. Since we know that extinction is the ultimate fate of all forms of life, the last two factors may be very small. On the basis of the experience of just one example, namely ours, it is unlikely that a technological civilization can last much longer than a few thousand years. This is a very short period, making it improbable for us to receive a signal from another civilization. However, if we do not search, we may never find out and that is a strong enough reason to make an all out effort to look for our companions beyond the Earth.
Honestly, I don't believe in a "Higher Power", and I'm not too keen on the whole science aspect of creation either....I believe in the here and now, and being a good person because you want to be a good person, not because some God or something says you have to. Idk....I don't spend a lot of time wondering how we got here, because really, all that matters is that we're here now, so what are we going to do with our lives while we're here? Idk about anyone else, but I would rather spend my time here living life rather than contemplating the existence of it, and being a good person because it's something that I want to do. Not because of a higher power telling us to, because if we did it just because we were told to, it wouldn't be genuine at all, now would it?
i belive there is something there, but i dont no what or what to call it
i am kinda a person who belives something is there but at the same point i want to see proff as well
I believe in something, but not a Judeo-Christian concept of a G-d...
I'm afraid the universe is simply too vast and filled with wonders (what we know of it so far at least) to be simply random acts.
I do think there is a greater power guiding creation and while I have my own faith as to what that is, it could also simply be giants playing a dice game making it all occur.
It took me a long time to accept that some things I will not know in this lifetime or plane of existance and now I try to view the next with curiosity instead of fear. But a higher power exists in my world for sure.
If you mean one Ultimate God/Creator/Supreme being, then I would have to say ~ Yes!
i do believe in a great architect. i teach physics and the more i learn about the universe, the more there seems to be an intellect behind it.
check out the number "phi"....
its really quite cool.

No i don't i believe when you die, you die.
Nothing happens there after, it all seems a bit too much too grand to think there is this supreme higher being, seems too much like fiction. And you would think if they existed they would let themselves be known. If they created us, we would in essence be part of them, made in their image, and who here wouldn't let themselves be known if they were a supreme being?
I'm with the lion king...circle of life Yo!
Why don't you just ask people, Do you believe in God? Why all the nonsensical gibberish words?
To answer the question, I honestly don't know what I believe right now. I have a lot of soul-searching to do.
I don't believe in just ONE supreme creator. I take a look at nature and most things that have the ability to produce or create requires more than one living entity, therefore it's my own conclusion that there very well may be, what i would even call....source parents.

I believe in God. I believe in a lot of things. I believe God speaks to all people via their language and culture. It is interesting how so many very different tribes of people ended up with the same myths, only the names and settings being different. All the while, never having met. Most have a very similar moral code as well. The Golden Rule- is all over the place... why do we believe in so many of the very same things? Some will argue different points as to why. It doesn't sway what I feel and faith obviously isn't for everyone. But you can't see God. You can't see love or the wind either... but you can see what it does. That's an ignorant concept for some. I really don't care, the belief is mine.
I don't actually believe in "The Supreme Cosmic Spirit".
I believe all things are connected, are basically one and that we are more then the parts that make up our body.
I looked at the title of this thread of and read it as "Comic Spirt." In a sense, that could be very true.
I do believe in a supreme being in which things have come to be , yet spirtually followed or not life has come to be by something.
Another "Child of One" here. Never ever thought otherwise.
That's not surprising considering that just One supreme entity has been pushed down through the years and not in the nicest of ways, esp those that were pagan *shrugs* Majority of the masses have either been swayed into one way of thinking, molded if you will, through power, through war....not surprising at all. Even if the majority of human collective only sees ONE, i am still just as firm as the next person to say given our history, more than one will always be in our roots.
I don't believe in one God because it's been forced down upon us for 'ages'. I don't fall into anything because of pressure or 'norms'. I believe because it comes from within. Some feel it, some don't.
I believe in ONE, one that has many faces and facets. This 'one' would be beyond our miniscule human understanding. I can see how others would take God as 'several', while I see this one God doing it all in many forms. I don't put any limits on God.
Again, this is my personal feeling.
I don't like the word "belief" as it connotes the professing of an opinion lacking any real evidentiary or factual basis. Thus, I try not to profess such.
I will state that I am convinced through personal experiences together with in-depth logical reasoning and extant scientific evidences that we are apparently the result of design, not random chance, and that this life is in preparation for learning and living beyond mortality. And, therefore, if such is the case, then there must also be a Designer or Designers who have, in all probability, progressed further along the same path we, ourselves, are currently on.
As Human Beings, we are by our very natures driven to design and create. We are at our best when engaged in just such pursuits. Thus, were we the sole result of a Universe in which no design or creation has ever existed... from whence came this all-consuming inherent drive burning within us all? From whence came our foundational Designer and Creator natures?
And that is but one small example of the logical conundrums that, for me at least, point to the existence of some Grand Design... and thus... Designer(s).

I know there is a Supreme cosmic spirit, which I prefer to call the Divine.
I believe there is no form or substance to the Divine that it is the universe herself. Everything that exists in the universe is the embodiment of the Divine. That we are just mere sparks of the Divine that are on a journey of learning and discovery, when we finish that journey we return the the great consciousness that is the universe or the Divine.
I always find Panentheist, and deist to be sound company, with a healthy context of faith, far less prone to the sensationalism of other theist.
No because of the old arguement of "where then did he come from? and what of the creator of that creators creator?" etc.
I do belive something parallel to "everything we know is but a molecule of an atom of a speck of dust and one day the great cleaning will wipe us away for good." or something. But on the bright side there is but one everything, of this I am almost certain.
I believe that there is something above us all, Whether I beleive it to be the Christian God, The Almighty Father I would say no. Everyone percieves what they believe their God or Goddess to be, based on what their culture and up bringing is.
No, I don't believe in a supreme cosmic spirit. That would mean believing in a spirit that is supremely flawed since it does not create perfection. is it possible that a capricious energy abounds, a sort of juvenile power capable of creating human life? yeah, sure, I'll go with that. That would mean worship at the font of Shite Happens.
I don't beleive in them. I don't have any evidence to make any claims, because iv'e never had a experience with a supreme cosmic spirit.
just because you never experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I mean no one in the world has done everything or seen everything, new discoveries are made daily.
Yeah its all crap, the fact 200,ooo homes just collapsed after flooding, well it is all just nature.
if this supreme being is anything like a god.... then yes.
Of course I believe in a Supreme being.
Sometimes we need to search for our answers.
I believe the Supreme being as the Buddist and Wiccans do, part male aspect, part female aspect.
Life always holds mysterious.
I have had some beautiful unexplained blessings and miracles in my life to know there is a Supreme Being.
well..the universe did not make itself.the simple fact thats its made on logical principles indicaet the a logical mind made it.if there was no logical rational mind behind it then it would be in daily chaos.
i beleive in the supreme power because there is so much that we still don't understand that is out there
that and everything is so complicated and beautifully made, for it to be 100% pure coincidence is like hitting the lottery 1000 billion times in a row.
