I would like to develop in this thread the everyday things that are ether disturb or invade by the spirtual realm, like the office, the bus, thigs you and no one else can see or feel, I mean by that, do you see dead people? Or can you sense them, can you communicate with them, and if you are able to do any or all of these how do you manage you everyday life?

Me, I see them, everywhere, like in a bus, or a restaurant, a library, when I walk near a woud, at poeple's house, I can sens them without seing them but not all, only a few, everyday the worst is to make sure if I talk to someone they are alive...and not just a spirit or a dead person,....cause trust me I,ve been laugh and whispered at when I was realsing I was talking to a dead persoon, and no one see her or him...The way they comunicate with me is mainly in my mind directly, words, emotions, images.

Depends on the type of day I am having or what my mind is focused upon.. I usually can sense spirits or beings... but I have never actually seen a spirit... just felt the presence

In situations as happen to me i get like the chills and a strange feeling in my gut that I was visited.

CryMist, interesting thread. It sounds like your gifts lie in seeing spirits. My gifts are more in the foreseeing events. They can be equally scary. Most spirits that I sense are there to harm me.

I'm sure there are others here with the same gift as you. Good luck in developing what you have. I don't think it's by accident.

I usually cannot tell whether they are there to help me or harm me... I just usually ask them to leave and they do...

I have never seen them personally but I do believe in those that can. I think that the best way to handle it is to go about your every day life and ignore them (if they become a problem)

The worst I guess is not knwoing when they will show up or not, until they are there and looking at me, or sending me emotions or words

i have to agree this is an awesome thread.

it is a great thing to have a gift to that nature. mine is to be able to feel them and on occasion see them as well. but the energy has to be high for me to see them.

I have not personaly seen the spirit of a dead person, but i belive some people have the gift to do so, it would be cool if i could...

I can definatly sense them, I have seen them, and I don't have any issue living my life, I have been freaked out a couple times, but you get used to it, and for those of you that cannot sense or see, don't be disapointed, I'd rather not sense or see

I have never seen them, but I can definitely sense their presence and have been directly affected by a few... I've had spirits enter my body and try to communicate with me, but I never saw them before they did it. It was very strange..

I don't think I've ever actually seen a spirit, but like most everyone else, I've sensed them on several occasions. All of a sudden, I'll get the feeling that I'm not alone in the room, but no one will be there.

I can usually see them no matter where i am sometimes this can be a little un-nerving as it happens in the street when i am in the bath or on the loo. My fiancee doesn't see them as often as i do althopugh he can sometimes sense their presence (especially when they inadvertantly pass through him) which is rather funny sometimes LOL

i see many things while i work at the corner of my eyes and all i can do is just keep on workin

I would rather not have this "gift" As it is a pain more then a good thing, plus from what I was told I have to "guide" them to the light and create rays of light for them to go to and enter...It does give me the chill at times and freaks me out too. So I dont consider it a gift but more a burden of good.

I dont think I've really seen anything . But I've felt things before . other than that I usaully ignore it .

This maybe a stupid thing to ask, but do you think that, since they are trying to contact you then they are looking to you as their way of passing on from this life?

I dont tink so....otherwise whhy do they sometimes hurt me? I think if it was the case I would not fear all these fears and sadness they release on me and anger...right?

Maybe they're just trying to get your attention and that's the best way they know how? OR, maybe that was the type of person they were when they were alive and they kept going on that way in death.

i ahve had a few true incounters and it isnt a typacal mood or anything that ive noticed befor this had happen it just came and it feels cool liveing my life knowing that this has happen to me how ever some people dont believe but as long as i know thats all that matters

I think the more of an open mind you have to the paranormal, the more likely you would have the ability to see spirits, and that is why i think when your little you see things that no one else does, because your mind was not corupted yet...

has alot of people seen things while being young thyat you can remember what types of things have you seen

anybody can sense a dead person. the only way you can sense them good though is if you're psychic or were extremely close to that person

I've seen one in my grandma's house and young girl in the hallway, that freaked me out as i just opened the door and she was just there. But ever since i haven't seen anythink else, but sometimes i can sense things and do get the chills quite often as if i've been visited or sumthing.

How do you deal when for exemple you are at the restaurant or the librairy and they are there looking at you wanting to talk to you, I mean you cant just get up and shake hands you'll look crazy...so how do you deal with them on a everyday basis, I know I am like trying to ignore them but its hard...and sometimes my mom is asking me "Do you see any? What they look like?" and blah blah blah, like its not hard enought to look normal she has to make it harder.

Have you tried blocking? I don't see spirits like you do. But, I see them. When I am really tired or over emotional I see them more readily.

To block I just push my consiousness into my castle (great imagination) in my mind and raise the drawbridge. It has taken me years of work to achieve this. Sometimes I just does not work.

I recommend meditation and seeking your inner self. Only you can determine what it is you need to do to protect yourself from this.

I pretty much have an experience every damn day at home.. our basement is haunted... *NODS* my girlfriends brother won't go down there... hasn't in years lol

i dont feel you need to be real close to somebody whos died, or have to be sychic or anything to have them come to you after death.. they choose who they want to come back to thats my opinion

i dont see them...but i sometimes can feel them in certain places

at times i kn they r there, i dont really see them as such but i can feel their presents and depending on how i feel is wether i feel them more

CryingMist, I am disturbed by the fact that you say Spirits sometimes hurt you.

I am a partially trained medium.

May I sugest that control is all important.

No Spirit has power over us unless we empower them ourselves.

If you should choose to learn control/shielding perhaps you will see your gift in a different light.

I have never seen anything but I have felt a strange presents many times.

I have seen some bizarre things happen, but I can't see spirits. If it happened to me on a daily basis as it does you, I don't know how I'd deal with it other than trying to ignore them the best I can while around other people. Sounds terrifying

The only downside of being able to see dead people would be them popping up when you do not expect them to, other than that i can not see a downside...

There are times that it goes both ways with me. I have many days that I can see them and on other days I can feel them. I know it may seem weird but most of the time weather I see or feel them I get some sort of energy from them.

I usually sense them near . Only once did I think I saw my ex father-in-law in the train station. But my father-in-law now is gifted and he sees them all the time. He doesn't always talk about what he sees though because he doesn't want to spook us. After my dad passed and my father-in-law said my mom was there to guild my dad over, my son said he had the "creeps" in grandpa's room.

I cant say that i see dead people. i've only seen two spirits my whole life. but i always feel them. It doesnt affect my every day life only because I sense so many things around me its like over load. so when i am on buses or at work or in public, there is just too much energy around for me to focus in on something particular.

but when i am alone, or in small groups, i do tend to sense when spirits are around. i feel them near, i feel them watching. sometimes its an uneasy feeling, other times it feels very safe.

...thank god I'm not the only one who sees spirits... every time I go to the local bar I see spirits lined up behind the bar tender... they have names too like Jack Daniels... Jim Beam... spooky!!!!

I can sense and see ghosts and sometimes it's very disturbing . Cause I have come across some very angry spirits . Then there are those who don't know they are dead and have some unfinished business.
