Iv embarked on a astral event and will be logging my journeys in my journal. Mind you due to crazy times im going to bed after talking to some one on VR most of the night im too tiered to successfully make the journeys lol
I do have constant dreams about my succubus and other vampire events like my dormant vampire desire has woke again and is in overdrive………………
I do keep a dream journal next to my bed. I log the following things SIGNIFICANCE like any direct link with dream and day events.
THEME like running thought it all night, like escaping a monster or blowing up shops with toy guns lol
Setting , people , feelings, symbols, words, phrases and other notes like color- times- season ect.
And I leave space at the bottom to analyze the dream latter.
Any one else do this? Or think of a good way to log dreams
I have tried many different ways to write down my dreams. The most effective way I have found is to just write down what happens in my dream as I remember it then. When I wake up in the morning, I read it and if any memories come I write those down too.
I then look into my dreams over time for any significant person, theme, event,...
i record all the dreams i can remember in a book. Like a Journal.
I can't think of any way better of logging your dreams than what you're doing now. Keeping a journal by your bedside is the best thing to do as you can write in it when you first wake up and everything is still fresh in your mind.
i agree. keeping a journal by your bedside is the best way i can think. i used to do it some but haven't in a while. maybe i should start doing it again. maybe it'll give me some inspiration for poems i write.
im definitly a "dream" person... i know i should write them down... but for the most part... i have them all im my head... as they have always been very prominant and most are reacuring that i cant forget them... times, places, smells, colors etc... ohhh well... have a blessed journey my friend and happy writings in your journal... wicked kisses and blessed be, darla...
p.s. stop staying up all night talking to all the girls on vr, hehehe... (darla = caous)
Well thank you Darla lol …… any woman I talk to for half the night must be part of my dreams?
I tend to log my dreams on my computer, as after I get up I end up sitting down at it.
I really haven't noticed any theme to mine, other than I dream some pretty crazy stuff.
Yes I think it`s a good way to write them down in any form, maybe it`s good to analyse them
Yes and you must analyze them yourself as only you know what it means … outsiders have not had the life / lifetimes you have and couldn’t conceive why that means so much to you.
well i think keep up the good work but try to copy your sgnificante details in more than one place to try and put the pieces together if there are any
ive had a few astrial projection dreams if thats what you want to call it....i usually right them down when i wake up...i really believe the soul does rise while we are sleeping and takes a little trip lol
you should pop by and see us
chaosstation.theiforum.com
hhmm i pretty much do the same thign as you, only...when im laying down to go to sleep, i focus my mind on what i want to dream about....maybe a problem or something thats going on in my life iw ant to change....as i fall asleep, i say over and over in my mind, with conviction, "i will remember" while thinking of what i want to dream about.
Hope this helps.
I have never kept a dream journal, but i have heard that the best way to do it is right when you wake up write down what you remember then reread what you wrote until other things that you didnt remember pops up in your head...
one of my old favorite places was www.dreamstop.com until theystarted charging for dream interpretation and recording.
will drop by the referenced site. astral journeying is a good thing. although last night i fell asleep. must have needed sleep more.
Yes I must say falling asleep is common when doing or attempting to astral work … we will be answering such conundrums on the new forum … just make an account and ask ;-)
Some times when I dream a good dream..
erotic... Funny...whatever... When I wake
in the night I can think to myself and
return to the same dream.
i once dreamed that i am with a vampire friend and i asked him to make me a vampire too. but i was so scared about the biting process and that it will hurt.
i REALLY felt the hurt that the biting caused and i wonder if it is true sice some of my dreams come true afterwrds
I know that everyone has heard of the book of dreams anyhting that you dream it can tell you why you dreamed it and how does it help you and what is it saying, most people don't belive it but it's true after they had that deam and did not belive me they come to me and asking me what it meant
i agree with Oceanne. and i always wanted to make a machine that could record my dreams onto a tape ar dvd, and when i wake up and i didnt like it i could delete it and keep the sweet ones. lol.
My sub-psyche chooses what memories und dreams I remember; I tend to remember the 'Vampiric' ones though... Usually because of the nature of them or the situations...
I wish I could remember everything... But I can't...
I kinda have the same problem as SyDa , i can remember peices of things but cant put them in order, fleeting thoughts of different scenes..I have a journal beside my bed just for this reason, tis part of my Studies..i have tried everything to remember the most important parts, i do remember that my One, i say my One is always watching over me, i can never see His face..been having this dream of One in the shadows watching for some time..and every once in awhile i wake up well lets say very drained as if sex was a part..not sure what mine are, are vampire dreams..
I wish that I could remember my dreams, as far as I can tell I don't dream at all. People tell me that I appear to be dreaming and talk in my sleep sometimes but I have no idea what about.
I do the same thing .... I keep a journal of my dreams. Most of my dreams are premonitions so I have done this for as long as I can remember, it helps me to figure things out or even warn people of certain thins. Keeping a journal/book of your dreams is a very good Tool.
you have a very creative imagination ;) i think it is a good thing to log such events for later use in recalings such activities that may become dorment in the near future. i would defintely try out different cenerios and see what works best fro you when applying such works.
how can you make your self remember your dreams? i remember bits and peices but alway feels Him standing there watching and waiting..i can never see His face but i smell Him, feel Him..when i wake up all i remember is the Dark Presense and odds and ends of dreams..I have a journal just for that and thats part of my Studying, i need to learn how to remember details, not all but most important ones..may be the wrong thread to ask but didnt know where else
well you would need to teach yourself to remember the shadow memory.
As part of learning to astral ascend OBE you need to remember so I don’t know why this wont work for you.
What I do is when in lucid dream state or OBE is take note of things around me.
Detail in this state, I remember a smell or a picture or a tree and focus on the detail.
Then during the day if it is fragmented a tree will jolt the shadow memory or a smell.
It can take several visits, just jot down on the dream pad the bits you do & place them together and whoosh it suddenly dislodges a shadow dream in it’s fullness.
This is how I got to communicate with my succubus, is your visitor a incubus?
The best way to record your dreams in my opionion is have a pen and notebook right next to your bed write down what you can remember colors images feelings it helps then after a while you will be able to decipher your images and everything without the help of others I have a friend who I talk to all the time about my dreams and he has helped me plenty of times with my nightmares
I found the best way for me to remember everything is soon as I awake I lay their with my eyes closed and think about it and everything comes rushing back like I am in the dream again. It helps when the alarm clock isn't going off in the background. I have read if you can start remembering your dreams the next step is to jump in and control them the next I'm not to sure it was kinda left open but I believe it is astral projection. How far i don't know I've only been able to get a little outside my body.
Another good way to record your dreams is to buy a mini tape recorder, and when yo wake up all you have to do is talk into the tape recorder...
I usually remember all of my dreams. I used to write down all my dreams when I woke up, but now I just write down the ones that seem significant in some way.
I don't keep a dream diary, but some times if I remember some of my stuff I put them in story format. I have a few posted in my journal as well. Mostthe time I only rmember the weird dreams.
I don't have a very good memory, but my memories for dreams s extremly good. I don't have to log them becoz i can remember everything that happened. Sometimes they give me ideas for stories that i post on quizilla or fanfiction
I keep a dreamcatcher over my bed because things like to connect with me in my sleep. I am a very vulnurable person while i'm asleep--something could take a hold of me and take over my body if i'm not careful. But the dreams I do remember are logged in my Dreamcatcher Diary
i have tried 2 write down my dreams but when i wake up i get hit with a huge headache 4 lik 5 seconds and then i cant remember nothing but maybe wut time it looked lik it was in if anyone has any idea y it is lik this message me it would help
I'd like to remember my dreams, but as long as can remember. Remembering dreams is not something I can do. I really hate that.
I can't think of any way better of logging your dreams than what you're doing now. Keeping a journal by your bedside is the best thing to do as you can write in it when you first wake up and everything is still fresh in your mind.
I have been logging my dreams for a long time.Since my awakening, I have past life dreams. And it helps if i write them down right away so i don't forget details and names.
I keep a dream journal right next to the bed. First thing I do when I wake up is write down whatever I remember from my dreams during the night.
I often forget that not everyone is as much of a book geek as I am and that not everyone keeops a journal with all their significant dreams in it...*sigh* Writing down your dreams and thoughts is very helpful. And if vampires are a recurring theme, then that may be telling you something, eh?
I should imagine those vampires awakening would benefit greatly from this journal of dreams to help understand your past
i agree that only the dreamer can understand what their own dreams mean i can't see how someone else can analize and say it means this or that yes i know certian objects in dreams mean something particular but i feel to take it to a personal level only the one who has had that dream can really understand it i feel dreams are like messages.
100% correct
The symbolism in dreams are molded by your life … walking down the street naked might mean insecurities …. Unless like me your parents were nudist n you still take your cloths off as soon as you get home.
I wish I could remember my dreams these days. I haven't remembered a dream since I was in school. I have no idea why i stopped recalling dreams, but if anybody has any thoughts i would like to hear them.
a vampire dream could be a door way to your past, now or future event that can or will happen.
as ravenknight stated about the recorder that is a little better then a notepad. for when you are writting things down your thinking to write and sometimes youll forget befor u write it all down... this way all you need to do is talk and its all there, then maybe write it all out when you get up and put things together that you remember from befor but id go with the recorder
By the time I wake up, I usually only remember bits and pieces of what happened that night.
I have never really tried to jot my dreams down.
I usually remembe my dreams because they are dreams, or it probably was a dream that I really liked.
Hey flower
I try to focus on an event in the dream a plant flower or something and that can make shadow memories.
The purpose is when your walking along you see a trea like the dream one and it all comes flooding back … just jot it down, read it latter and more comes … it can take weeks or more sometimes … even years.
keep a recorder right by your bed and as soon as u wake up at any time even if your 1/2 sleeping you wouldnt believe what u hear sometimes
i log into VR and post my dreams in my jornals where a have a log of them. that way ppl can give there imputs about them
i keep a dream journal but i get diffrent ideas about mine.
This was really revealing to me! I didn't realize there were so many of us out there that journaled or logged our dreams! I use mine for insight into my daytime activities.
unless you pay to get your dream state monitored with the aid of science etc, you seem to be doing the right thing.
Journals are awesome. I write in mine alot. Poems, emotions....everything. Although i have to hide it from my mom. She doesnt like it when i use language she doesnt approve of........she would murder me
Yes I do write a lot.... I keep a journal, and especially if the dream seems like it is significant to something going on in my life, I will write it down.
You are doing a wonderful job with you log..... I haven't had anything worth writing about lately so I can't say anything with my experiences but when I did, My log was just as detailed... Keep it up...
I've tried the dream journal thing...coul dnever wake myself up to write my dreams down..the only time i remember dreams are the weird ones or one that feel real.
i think our dreams are very important .. and also keep a dream journal.. looking what you add to your seems you have covered all the bases and given me a few things i havent thought of adding .
Im making sure I write down three defining things in each dream, every morning … im going to get it all down and pieced together
I used to be militant about maintaining a dream journal before I entered college, although I am now quite lax; it seems to be alright though, as my dreams since beginning college have been few and far between for whatever reason. Those that have been intense enough to remember are locked in my head in any case as I seem to have a phenomenally good long-term memory.
Anyway - I absolutely suggest keeping a journal by your bed. I found that keeping it next to my alarm clock was the best way to get me to write down what I'd dreamed upon waking.
As far as interpretation goes - I speak to a psychiatrist regularly during the school year, and he helps me with a lot of the interpretation. I know some people might think that is beneath them, but it's what works for me.
I have tried to do it once before but for some reason kept forgetting to do so when I woke up. Or when I would wake I would forget my dream. But I'm going to try and do it again. It sounds like a very good Idea.
for mi i wright down kee notes then keep my eyes open for the things i feal are inportant
