Once the feature is avalible I wouldn't mind being a mentor ^_^

By the end of July I will be able to have 30 Pupils, so I have a lot of openings.

As soon as the feature is available I plan on being a mentor as well.

Hmmm...that will be *sooo* much different from what I do on a daily basis already here for other members. lol ;)

I am already a Coven Master and an Acolyte, so I am also willing to take under my wing some, I really love to help and I hope I can give a hand.

I feel really good inside when I can help, when I can make a difference in a positive way.

I am not perfect, never pretended to be, I got my bad and good days, I make mistakes. But I know one thing, I never give up and never stop hoping, and that is one thing that count the most on here.

I want to make a difference, and if by helping I do, then it is wonderful and perfect for me.

I am not the best exemple, as Imade mistakes along the way, but I grown up learning, I learned from my mistakes and amend myself on the ones I could.

I constantly try to improve myself. And I beleive everyone can change for the better and can help VR bloom even more. I think mentor can he a way to help others avoid the common mistakes we all make when we begin, or even when we are leveling up and not ready yet for the big leagues but getting there.

My 2 cents.

I wonder if Mentors will get a name stamp like the admins and now Coven Masters.
I also want to know if the 1% bonus shows up as a mark.

I could mentor, I have already done profiles for people and made crests & stamps & such...

okay i have to say... I am also willing to mentor anyone who wishs to be my subject... i quite good with coding and graphics and blah blah blah... but i do have one question... when are we to expect to be able to mentor... im not complaining just wondering when it might be available.

YM, this update was expected last week, but because of the extended status update it got pushed forward to the middle of this week.
As you know it is now the end of the week and still no update.
So now we just wait for word from Cancer.
As I am posting this he is online so he might be working on the update.

Last info I got is that the Mentor system should be in place around the 14th - 17th.

I didn't feel like pestering Cancer with this with all the bugs I was already sending to him.
Once this is active, I will comb through it making sure there are no bugs.

Something I haven't thought of yet is if you can be a Mentor and a Coven Master at the same time.
I don't see them conflicting with each other, but we will see.

Marix, the mentor system from what i understand will be in the society section... and a coven master already has a society they are running, so it would be my guess that mentoring would conflict with the fact that they are already in a way "mentoring" the members of their coven. that would be my guess atleast

What are some of the areas you're considering mentoring in peeps?

I will be most interested once of proper status to help where I can and am needed.

I wat to help them feel at home on vr, feel like they can make a positive difference if their heart desire so.

I can help with some HTML, and with the rules of the site. The manual, FAQs.

With the societies, and the site in general.

Also to just be there when needed to be is, or if only an ear is needed.

Cause I think no one should be left alone.

Provided CMs can be mentors, I'd love to be one. Particularly for issues with HTML, CSS and the database :-)

I would love to mentor under someone, but I'm not exactly sure what comes with that. What is involved with mentoring under someone? What are the benefits? What are the cons?

I dont know how long it is going before im passed level 80 but im willing to either learn or teach from or to people when the time comes as I am lookin forward to the changes that are ahead.

having a mentor or being a mentor, is on a volontairy base, so no one is obligated. And no one can obligate you.

I, also, am interested in mentoring. I've been on VR for nearly 2 years and have helped my share of new members learn the ropes. I'm also an acolyte... basically, helping is nothing new for me.

I may not be a profile building guru but I know of plenty of sites to get backgrounds, graphics, and I know my way around html.

I'm kinda broke so I don't have 2 cents but I have 1/2 of one. Does that count?
