If an immortal was turned into a vampire, then they would be a vampire, that happened to be immortal already. Its not like someone can be doubley immortal now is it :-)

it would seem to me that an immortal like Duncon Mcleod, if turned would only suffer for the causes, first he is already immortal, so now he can no longer go out in the day, only feed on blood, he would benafit to just stay an immortal an not be a vampire

I doubt that comprehensive proof can be found, but as i said earlier, you can't really be doubly immortal, so maybe you cannot have double power (that sounds like the title of a really bad TV programme)

But going on the basis that if you have been turned, then you cannot be turned again, wouldn't it be the same?

well the way isee it if an immortal is killed he doesnt have his head in the case of highlander and the quickening unless they bring frankenstein into the story line i mean his head was sewn on and when it gets chopped off fit another head that makes you immortal again living on that minds twisted revenge and thoughts what happens when all is caught up then what where does a vampire retire to bask in the moon light and enjoy

Ok...so say he is immortal....is turned into a vampire and then has his head cut of. Wouldnt the first mentioned immortality be gone and then allow the vampire regeneration process to take over?
