ii ancient time a vampire and a liken would fight eachother to survivre
and yet these days they will coexist without even knowing about each other
what has happened to the old ways
were the old days better?
or are these times better?

I'm for peace so if these days they are friends I would say yes.

These days are better due to not so many killings between the two..We have learned to co-exist which makes us friends as said so it is a great tging to have the two getting along Lycans, and Vampires as well..We are all human as was stated and when we are cut we all bleed red..

Now in older days things were more hidden as stated and great point as well..

maybe they are more sophisticated and civilized these days?

i you can co exsist then your being shall last longer.. in my option.. and i have not seen much fighting with the physical but with mental prowess now..

If you do not see the fighting you look in the wrong places. It is interesting that there are so many more hidden lycans than vampire. I guess when the paths cross the hatred is still there. But then again, it is easier for a lycan to hide than a vampire.

and i believe the days now are better between the two for the full fact that we have a bit more information about both conditiond and have better resources to obtain what we need in food sources..and people are more in tune to givin it up

Vampires and lycens? Are we talking fictionally or real life, because I have yet to meet a true "immortal" vampire or anyone who can honestly turn themselves from human to animal form in my real world experiences.

Me either. I know people who value a Lycan way of life. Who would follow the pack rules etc but not any who have lycanthropy that changes them into a full blown were.. I know of people who are named Bolverk and fenrir etc due to their love of Lycan folklore....If there are any out there id love to meet them. Same goes for the Vampyre. I know many who live the lifestyle, many who liveit and are not sanguine but i dont know any who can turn to mist or a bat etc...

Well I see a number of people claiming that it is a real life thing, so I still would like someone to explain to me why they believe that and show me some sort of proof to back it up because I have never heard of such a thing outside of the rpg/larp and movies and video game settings to be honest.

You know Darkness I came to that conclusion after years of bitterness towards my sister for those kinds of things. I think I have become a better person for letting it go.

Since the war came to a halt for a few centuries it seems that the world is a much calmer place for us to live in. Secrecy is still a problem and there are still a few skirmishes that happen but for the most part the new days are better than the old.

Well I asked people who were claiming it was a "real life" war, to provide me with some proof, but other then the vague generalizations of "it's been going on forever" and "it still exists today" etc no one has come up with proof.

i'm all for peace between Lycans and Vampires , though in the old times you could hide stuff and almost act normal and blend in. Now it's more open and no matter how weird you act or look some one isn't going to kill like a savage. I guess in a way the old days are better but so is now...hmm i don't know if that makes sense.

Whilst the premise of lycan V vamp is more to me of Underworld than Real World, any proof that is there should be posted not just waved like a flag and then never appear... if you don't have it its just a waste of typing

I keep asking for the real life proof of this from those making the claims, but as always, no one is coming and giving an answer. So I am just going to have to assume they read one too many fantasy novels or watched one too many movies and don't have a clue on "reality" vs "fiction." Otherwise why avoid answering a question of proving such an important thing does occure as they claim?

don't confuse pure fiction with mythology and lore. the problem these days are games and movies cloud over peoples "perceptions". prime examples of this would be VTM and Underworld. although well made fiction, its just that, fiction. none of it has any true relavence to anything other then to make money.

No one brought it out, which to me says they don't have any proof of this that does not have it's origin in exactly the same places our comments originated...role play, games or movies lol.

I hate it when someone swears something is true and that they have proof and yet refuses to show that proof even if it would be something many would be very interested in seeing.

Its would seem as a 50/50 kind of a deal. Where it would sounds as the old time been good times, for the way they were back then *vampires with vampire,likens with likens* but then as well it would sound just as good for everyone its at peace so its just a 50/50.

like u said, in the old days, lycans and vampyre fought, they still do to this day, i know a many vampyre that cant stand lycans. and visa versa. i am vampyre and have no problem with some of them, most of them i do not like, they have too short of a temper. these days we fight a lot less than before, from what i understand. so for peace, now would be better. but i also belive in the old ways as well. i guess u could say i am for both sides of the question.

As a wolf let's just say it is great we get along with each other, better than the old ways. Just because we can't completely change to our chosen breed, doesn't mean much. We are what our souls are, whether we change or not, let us remember that. I personally enjoy teh company of vamps, as I yet to meet a fellow lycan face to face. So I'm glad we can enjoy each other's company after ages of fueding.

I would say that the old days would be better than now, but I really wouldnt know this I wasnt alive in the old days.

These days licans and vampires get along a lot more better than they used to. In some places licans are still hated by vampires and vampires are still hated by vampires.

I am vamp and I have lycan friends.The way I see it is that humans have increased in population due to our wars. Now we are on the same mission in life: decrease humans in order to maintain our secrecy and ability to rule if we saw fit to.
