Ever sense I was little, I have been surrounded by strange phenomenon, which most people call ghosts, or polterguiest...whatever you fancy to call it. Nowadays...its become quiet normal for me to experience such phenomenon. Alot of people think its not real and its just some noise the house makes at night. I think that if they saw what I saw...they'd believe too. So tell me...what do you guys see? squeaky pipes or real ghosts? Let me know if you see these things too....I feel alone..

sounds like you may have a power awakening that has yet to be trained.... I myself speak with the ghost of my sister perfusly, as well as others that happen to make themselves known to me..... have you tried conversing with the "being" when you experience this?

I do a lot of E.V.P. work, and I know there is something there. Voices that should not be on tape. Yes, they are real and you should explore what is happening to you.

I have explored it. Hell....I sit up all night sometimes...kept awake by the sounds of breathing in my room that is not my own. I hear footsteps and things fall off my dresser....its really scary at times. I have this feeling that whatever it is...its not happy with me. Other times...i felt someone kissing my neck....my ears....I felt a weight next to me on the bed...but I was awake...and I saw nobody there. It was getting kinda.....weird....and its really hard to explain. I've had this sense I was a little girl. Once....I was in my room...and I was in like...kindergarden....My door slammed shut on its on....and my drapes were closed, so was my window. My drapes started fluttering all over the place and somebody was banging on my walls...I started crying and hid under by bed till it stopped. Then when I couldn't handle it anymore I came out and banged on my bedroom door trying to get out. I was a crying little kindergardener scared out of her wits...and when my door finally opened...(I couldn't open it for some reason...it wasn't even locked...) I ran to my moms room and told her what happened...she said that she never even heard me banging on my door.

I know what you mean I ahd very similar expiriences as yours for a whole year and till this day I can't sleep well.

I even had my bed and furniture shaking.

It depends on exactly what you experienced. I can't say that a few noises are anymore than pipes, loose boreds, or even mice. I couldn't say whether it was real even if you said you watched something like an apparation unless I saw if for myself. Like I said, I'm not sure exactly what you've experienced beyond noise..but I would discount other factors before considering ghosts.

Actually, it could be just the house.
We sometimes go looking for stuff that just isn't there.
If you interested in finding out; the first thing I would do is to smudge and bless the whole house top to bottom. Full cleaning too, before the smudging.
Then set back and enjoy and nice clean house. Don't try to make anything happen, just enjoy.

I agree with mrd. Its too...there. I dont know what you hear or see, because I am not there. I dont think anyone can say its this or that, unless they are with you and here it too. And It very well COULD be all in you head. It more common than you think for people to hear things from mental disorders or just being over sensitive. I have heard things many time before. Once i too heard breathing that was not my own, then i realized that is was at the same time as my pulse and found out that the pressure in my ears was screwing with my head. There are lots of possiblilities. It also depends on if you are in the same palce everytime you here certain things, if your in your room when you hear on noise or something and not another room, its more likely the pipes, though it could be spirits. It is too vague and I am not there to see or hear, obviously.

Somethings the spirits want you just to notice them, nothing more and then they leave.
One time they just wanted me to "clean my altar." But they made a lot a noise to tell me first. It took some time to figure what was happening and what I was suppose to do.
So, best to clean first and start with a 'clean slate.'

it could be both. though i would have to go more with the ghosts. there is a lot of proof about it being real. voices that show up on records and all. i've seen it happen before. it's freaky. but there are so phony people out there which is pretty stupid.

my dad's house is over a hundred years old so it squeak randomly in the night ive gotten used to it. is there any paranormal activity im not sure scientifically it could be explained as pressure from being walked on all day bands the old bords down and they pop up a little at night a gost has only visited me twice (age five and age 11) so im not te best person to know though

I'd say real ghosts, though it means little without experiencing the same things you have. Maybe it's the ghost of the pipes?

Always hard to say when none of us are with you to experience it...could be, as already said, a little of both. And, the smudging and blessing is always a good thing to do/a clean slate. I know of homes and buildings that have so much more going on than the bldg settling or a squeaky pipe - oh yes, do I! Nothing to fear, except for me, a curiosity as to what is really going on.

I have about 30% native american blood, and ever since I was a child I've heard noises and had feeling as if someone was with me or watching me, I've alwayz had psy abilities but when I started becoming older my ability increased and I could sence when spirits are around and every now and then I can hear them. I believe that when we die our mortal body is gone but the energy (karma) that we have still remains here long after we are either sent to shangrila or hell. Sometimes this Karma can become violent as with some of my experiences or it can remain calm and peaceful....either way I believe that sometime it CAN be leaky pipes but it never hurts to look or listen to the "other side" for our answers

Its all understandable. I have tested several theories. I've lived in this same house for over 12 years....alot of weird stuff has happend sense then.

Very real. I have had the same ghost living with me for like 18 years now. She moves with me every time I move. She has only showed herself to me once in all this time.

Mainly i dream about events that have or do eventually happen and this frightens me...

I have seen many peopel i don't know die in wars, crashes, and then read about them or seen it on the news I believe that gost or poltergiests can cross form the "other side"...

And even though I have dreams and shit about it this scares me deeply...for if I can sense the dead what can others sense i don't believ it is even the dead though...my dream are usually about peopl i love and know dying and mainly this only happens when I am under stress or upset...

I do love to stir up some subjects. I like to see what you people have to say, and to see if I can find some answers. I really do appreciate all of your help. Goodness though, lets try and stay on topic people please.

The question was, do spirits exist or not..thats the main question. Am I losing my mind or is it real? Alot of you say yes...and alot of you say no. So am I to take it that there is no real answer? Its more or less what I want to believe. Thats what I'm recieving from the imput so far.

I think that it is real. I write about things that happen. I've dreamed of my best friends death. I hear the cries from the souls who lost. Squeaky pipes is what the non-believers call it. To be honest...a person will never know how real these events are until they expirience them for themself.

Squeaky pipes. Everything is in tour mind. You see what you want to see or what you have shaped inside your brain.

You will believe what you want to believe and you will either be a borderline psychosis, or a case for study of localised poltergiest phenomena.

Have you researched any organisations which deal with these issues?

Don't feel alone. I see spirits all the time, as do my children. Some people are more open to spirits than others.

Personally I dont feel like I need to go see a doctor of any sort....I really don't know what it is. I really wish you could understand, but some do lack that ability or simply do not believe. I am not trying to offend you in any way, but we just have different opinions. It is understandable, but thank you for the advice.

i've seen and heard them from the corner of my eyes. your not alone, lol people tend to think that their imaginations are crazy when they get scared, but it could be something else that goes bump in the night...

I believe their ghosts or spirits, I've seen some weird stuff though. But to answer your question it could be ghosts or an old house instead. But I would say spirits myself.

i've had many such encounters, no one beleives my either. my friend say's she does but i think she's lying.

It's real......ever since i was about 10 years old i've been able to see hear and feel spirits ghosts demons and the whatnot.......i had a shrink tell me i was scitzo because of it when i was 12 my answer to him was just because you can't see them or hear them doesn't mean they do not exist!

I definitely do not think it is squeaky pipesince i live in a new house.

I *definitely* feel that what you are experiencing is real. My mother still thinks I crazy when I tell her about the spirits that I've seen or felt their presences drifting around my house. My clairvoyance has really become more acute over the past couple of years. Even though some spirits can be intimated, it's best to not show you're fear because some(the "bad" ones)feed off that fear and you can end up driving yourself mad over something that could be very simple. Good luck with keeping everything "calm"!

Oh it's certainlly real, or I'm just as crazy as you are. I see them, but rarelly. I occasionally feel them touch me but mainlly they just move things. I forgot a prayer coin I never leave behind yesterday and they slapped things off the desk where it was as I was leaving. I picked the coin up in a hurry belive me.

Mist – for the fact that I can walk both sides of the mist/veil that separates this world from the spirit world. I often walk both sides at the same time even. Now that is a really odd sensation!!!

Rest – for the fact that I am perfectly at rest/ease on either side or even on both sides at the same time.


As you see, I not only see them but I talk to them and even visit with them on the other side. :-D

I too have had experiences with ghosts. If u r sure u saw them then stick to ur guns, u will be believed by those whom have experienced the same.

i still see spirits so does my mom we have 4 pics of spirits 3 are from my old house and the other one we have, we don't know where it came from but it is a pic of our new home and in the pic there are two spirits and what looks like an tiny angel

I have had many a strange experience, been alone in my room and felt something stroking my hair. A little girl sat on my bed, even the hotel i work in has a spirit which causes a little disruption!

The house I bought is pretty old, and I had the opportunity to speak with two other tenants that have lived here and they all felt it was haunted,... one friend of theirs would not even step into it after he spent a night here. lol. I have had a few strange things happen. The lights flicker now and then and always when we eat supper in the dinning room, but again old wiring or ghost spirits? The stairs creak at night, and the cabinets slam in the kitchen. Enough to wake the dogs to commence barking in the middle of the night. That is a bit strange to deal with when I am up late and my desk is close to the kitchen. Its like a spirit gets mad and wants a late night snack and raids the cabinets.lol. It's not my cat she sleeps in the kitchen and it bothers her too. No drafts I can find. I literally was standing in the dark in the kitchen having a glass of water and the cabinets slammed one night so hard next to me that I dropped my glass! SO you could say I live in a haunted house. Anyone wanting to investigate paranormal is invited. lol. But really I dont mind it. It could be all in my head ? (not)

i believe that what you are experiencing is real.. there have been times where i'd be at home by myself and hear the things that you have mentioned.. i have witnessed some of the same things as well... so i'm a firm beleiver that what you are experiencing is real

i beleiev in ghosts and i can say ir probably was a ghost

i hear things
they sound like some one walking around the house but when i look no one there

i hear them sometimes see them. i think one's that are open-minded and see the world in a different light are able to detect it

personaly, I believe that some people actually draw "spirits" to them. Even if by accident. If you've had experiences your whole life with ghosts or whatever, I could believe it. I don't see them all the time. But, I do know when one is around....generally. So see, your not alone....

I feel things. Odd vibes. find thats enought to give me the intuition of something, although I'm not sure what my beliefs are.
