okay I would like to know if you guys think that engery work is real or not... I believe it is but I would like to get your guys input on it..... so feel free to say what you think?

the type of engery work that I'm talking about is like Rikki .... I think thats how you spell it lol..... not many know this about me about Iam a massage practitioner and went to college with someone that supposely was a Rikki master ..... sorry for the confussion all

I'm not familiar with Reiki, but I am interested in learning more about it. I believe more in the transferring of energy than I do in any religion. I think it's all a matter of the mind power, will power, and belief you place behind what you do. You must believe you can do it to make it so.

I think there are a few who practice Reiki on this site, so I'm sure your questions wont go unanswered. =)

There is a few Reiki Masters here on VR. I'm just one of them. As to answer the thread's topic, yes Energy work is real. I have several stories to tell. As these are first hand, it is a matter of fact. Really should be no surprize that energy work does work since we all are energy beings in the first place.

i don't no too much about reiki. however, i believe pooka is a reiki practitioner

energy work is real. it is as real as our intention. if i cast my intention out with a goal and a specific end in mind, am I not casting my energy into the Universe/ etheric, etc?

In my opinion & experience I would say yes energy work is very real!

I feal that it works. I have had my own experiences with it. The mind and the body are powerful things.

There are a lot of excellent articles on this site about energy work.

The power of the mind, body energies and so on to me is not in doubt. I am sure that the lucky few can master and control this energy for their own purposes.

I don't believe in any kind of psychomatic drawn energy at all. I know nothing of this topic but I would be interested in learning more about these kinds of things. I find the only energy one needs that is real is a desire complex.

The energy work done by Reiki is definitely real. However like most other types of "mystic" works, the practicioner and receiver of said works needs to believe that they do in fact work. The chinese do a form of internal Chi medicine, which names escapes me at the moment. And of course for the believers there is the power of prayer. Another form of energy work in my opinion.

It is very much real, am studying Reiki healing and Pranism...seriously it's one of those things where u have to experience it and see it..to really understand.but it is very very much a real thing.If you do not sense energy in others, then it may be hard for you to believe in it.I am being taught by a Reiki master, and the energy is unbelievable.It heals as well, it's just not all about being big and bad and powerful bull shite.It takes years to fully understand have some control over it, but if u have the energy within u , it most possible to use it.

As receiver of services from a Reiki Master, I can attest to the fact that energy work does indeed work.
I have felt both immediate results and long term improvements.

Oh of course it is real. Look around you. All the people in the world. Energy flows through everyone. How we focus it and what we do with it is another thing. Some of us pull energy from others, some take and use energy that we get from within ourselves. Dont underestimate the power of energy.

Have to agree with Satin on this one. I myself am not completely familar with the topic but my mind was following the same path Satin's is right now.

I have seen enegry work done before and felt it... I am also a psi vamp so I know its out there and its real... this discussion for those that want to know little bit about energy work and all *smiles*

Yes, but there are a lot of frauds out there. I think that people who truly have a talent for working with energy are rare.

I believe that energy work is real. I do not claim to be able to work with it; however, I have always felt this steady hum that emanates from everything. At times, it can almost feel like I could reach out and take the energy of a rock into me.

I have a friend that is a Reiki Master. The more I get to know her, the more interested I am in learning more about Spiritual Healing, and healing with energies.
I also know that Reiki and Touch Therapy, etc., are being done right along with Animal Massage Therapy,(which I will be doing soon).
So, yes, I do believe that Energy is very real.

I believe so. I go to Reiki class right now. It's amazing.

I am most certain that energy work is real. I know from studying and teaching the art of Ninjutsu that it is entirely possible to channel your energy to the point of attacking an opponent with touching them. Additionally, energy can be used in manners of healing the body. So, yes... Energy work is very realistic.

dont know ask me a few years ago and I would have laughed my ass off. but I have yet to try it so im not sure. though I have had quite a few people ask me to get it done to me or to do it to me. its a funny thing the more you learn the less you know :) life can truly be great like that.

Yes it is real, are bodies produce low leval electrical impulses and you can interupt them and make them move faster. If you introduce your energy to someones body whether by touch or emotion you effect thier energy. I work as an Energy Worker/ Reiki. And It can help calm, improve wellbeing as well as help learning disabilities. It is also incorperated to help PTSD and other nerological disorders. It is very real and can work wonders if you have a knowledgable person performing the work. And they should have good energy.

there is so much more to learn, fine tune and expand upon. It never really stops. You never know it all. it's impossible to. There are so many different ways to use the energy source..just remember it isnt your energy you use, it is just channeled through you

yes I believe that energy work and energy play can happen. I can feel when my friends are hurt and some of the things that happen to my sis, but that may be cuz she is my twin.

hmmmm good question.....ok heres my outlook.....Energy is made through machines, machines are made by man, man gets his energy from the earth (in one way or another), and earth is supposedly made by God.

back on the hive we called these people trolls.
what is a troll a troll is some one who has no intention of actualy using this place for what it is and comes here to either show an opinion on something or to catch some one out for doing something. this being a none illicit site would probably negate the latter. thankyou I will look into this healing now. energy work is real its all around us... and it also has many names for it as well... you don't have to believe that energy work is real ...just look around you and you'll see it... in many different forms

i have had rehki done and it does work. I believe tht it can center you when your chahras are all messed up
