for those of you that are here and use the rave on youre phone as i do.

just woundering what youre oppion is on it.

me personally i feel that there is a lot of room for improvement though i like the idea that i cna acess it there simply because i can keep on top of things here as far as messages go no to mention that i get to friends that i useally wont get to now

I haven't tried it, but most have said it is worth it.

I have been thinking of checking it out, so I'll watch this thread to see what everyone thinks first.

I find it quite user friendly.

I have not used it yet,But myother family have and do like it. as with anything new it will improve over time after all it is new. ;))

Actually I had no clue you could access this on a cell phone. I've been thinking of buying a cell so when I do I guess I'll check it out. If it's anything like it is on the computer Im sure I'll like it.

I think there's alot of room for imporvment becase everytime I even try to sign on it kicks me off and I don't think the reason it gives me is accurate.

The phone I own right now doesn't support VR.
But... If I got a better phone, I would definetely have VR on it.

You can get VR on your phone? I ahve Soooo got to get an upgrade....

Maybe it's just me, but why would you need to get on VR from your phone?

What are things you can do on VR from your phone?

I guess I could see wanting to check messages on VR from your phone if you're out and about and don't have access to a computer. But really, if I'm out and about, then obviously I'm busy doing something and don't really need to be on VR from my phone. That's just me though.

Mobile rave is an excellent way to message friends when you are on the go.

A new Vampire Rave section has launched: Vampire Rave Mobile.

VR Mobile is a part of Vampire Rave that has been specifically designed for mobile devices. If you have internet on your cell phone, PDA, Blackberry, Sidekick, or other mobile device, VR Mobile will display pages in a much quicker and more mobile-friendly fashion.

VR Mobile doesn't cover all of Vampire Rave, but from within it you can quickly and easily send messages, access VampBox, and basic Profiles. More content may be added in the future.

There is also a new link in the Main Menu under Services.

I've tried it on 2 different mobile and its hard, seems it dotn like my cell...its take too long to laod and when it does it is hard to keep track, it does not refreash well, I mena I got a nice screen and all nice, ususally easy and fast to surf but it seems not to like VR as much as I do *sniff sniff*

I use VR Mobile all the time, but I've had troubles connecting with my wireless phone since it switches IP addresses. I solved the problem by downloading Opera-Mini. Now I am on regular VR on my mobile phone.

I agree that mobile is a little limiting, but it does have a lot of great features that most sites would never have for for mobile phones.

It is handy enough if you really must get here I suppose. I brought it up once to just to see what it was all about but I think I would wait until I am home and using better access tools.

I haven't got it to work yet - it keeps logging me out

I can also surf the full site on my phone but each page is split over 12 which is a pain lol

so far i have found that there is one major change that id like to see on the moblie rave well actaually two for one all the text for messages that i get is squished on one centimeter of my screen on my phone on the left. two i would like to see the friends list show up on it

If it is squished, it is an issue with the specifications of your own phone. My phone does the exact same thing due to its lack of memory and storage space, but I have seen blackberries and sidekicks handle VR just fine.

I do not need another way to stay on vr, I already spend most of my free time on here now...

i don't have a cell phone with messagers or email so that really does suck but i think if u can get vampirerave on ur cell then go for it

man... I wish I had mobile rave... freakin' idiots! gah...

thats a sweet feature i think it would be cool if they had it set up where you could just install the messanger and not the whole site

i havent tried it yet..lol i didnt know you could do that....damn would have do it along time ago

i have yet to try this feature out but from what i am seeing it sounds like something good to keep up to date with whats going on in VR.

honestly i thnk that the issue with it being squehes on the cell phones is a diffrent reason then the balc berriys are they are running i diffrent type of browser though still a mobil versiona i know a few other thats use simular type of phones and well they have basicly full version browsers i think thats its an issue with the mobil browsers that are for standard cellular phones is all

left hand side of sreen it says vr mobile. and i have had only one problem and that was do to my carrier dropping signal.

to get on to the rave mobile you do need to have a permeium membersship though from there it is easy go to vampirerave web sight and then go the mobile part of it ( mind you make it eaiser to book mark the page) then log in

I've tired to use it on my Blackjack, Windows Mobile. Reads fine, but it generally won't let me send/post messages.

Considering the fact that the mobile VR hasn't been active for very long, I think it is great. There is room to improve but, so far so good; that is for sure. =)

I like VR Mobile. I use it to check my messages and stuff.

As someone said, if i'm away somewhere without access to my PC i'm obviously doing something important so wouldn't use a phone to check into VR.

I'm sure the service works well for those people who do feel that need though

i am curious since there is mobile vampire rave now is there the possibility that members will use it as time spent to level up or do they use it just to keep up to date on whats going on with site and friends

I think its a good idea but like with every good idea there are bug and kinks to be worked out.

well...if you use the rave on your phone
it might waste a hell of a lot of minutes on your phone BUT it will get you out into the open and then you dont have to sit on your @$$ typing on a computer lol

I access VR from my mobile all the time, but I access via Opera Mini and just access the regular site rather than utilizing the Mobile Rave option.

I tried it a few times and didn't care for it. When I wanted to go through profiles, it wanted me to search for names; if I'm looking for new profiles to rate, I really don't know names yet so that seemed a bit backward!

this is true though opera mini is a great program from what i heart they dont lhgave it set up for kyocera phones so im out on that one though i can say this that i can still get on to the rave with the browser i have so im content though i do feel that there is lot more that can be done to make it better. my biggest problem is that the memory capacity on phones are verry small so a lot of messages clogs up my phone seriously fast and runs it out of memory and makes it hard to work.

I am going to have to try it sounds like everyone is fairly pleased with it.

i will bide my time and see if all the teething problems dont escalate.

i forgot that i could get it on my phone so i think ill have to try it out sometime...it sounds like something i could use since im so busy most of the time

I have nothing but good things about it... but between my 2 phones... my charges are enough to hold me back from tryin it at the moment....

well don't have a phone to use it on.... but do see the point at least seeing any messages you may have so people may not have to wait so long......lol just my 2 cents.....

I've used it on my mobile device...and I have to agree that there is much room for improvement. I'm sure that given time it will improve. However, for the time being, if it is your only way to access...in a pinch it will do.

Well seeing as I dont have the net at home and only at work I use mobil rave alot aside from it being a little slow i think it great just like surfing of my comp the only improvment could be to make it a little quicker but I suppose once I up grade my phone it'll speed up

i have yet to try it, but Virgin mobile is terrible on their mobile web services....

I have a TMobile Sidekick. I used to be able to access VR with it- but can no longer as the phone picks up a different IP with eack click. VR will end your session if that happens... protection from those who possibly hack into accounts.

I have never used it, I must be honest have never given it a thought either. I think it is a good idea if u wish to utilise it but afriad i am not I got enuff problems with my mobile and trying to keep the charge down...

can't get vr mobile to work. Everytime I try loging on it says bad user name or password. And I know I have the right user name and password otherwise I wouldn't be on vr rightnow lol.

I don't use it for obvious reasons, but aren't there some draw backs for it? aren't there some things you can't access that make the system a littel faulted in some way shape or form? I don't like accessing anything but a messanger service on my phone because those are the only ones that truely work really well.

It's nice it allows you to keep up. But it's best to have an internet plan on the phone since you dont want to run your minutes.

vr looks great on my phone, verizon envy.
