my daddy passed away a few years ago..... afew times sence then i get a strong scent of his aftershave.... no one in my family uses that kind .... could it be possible he is trying to say hi..... ?

When those we love are taken from us,I firmly believe they are allowed to visit,sometimes its to guide,sometimes to watchover,and sometimes just to let you know that they are at peace.

I believe its possible that your father maybe coming back to keep an eye on you making sure you are alright and letting you know that he is alright too.

Usually, when you smell aromas like that from a family member that used to be alive, it's supposed to make you feel soothed and comfortable.

He is more than likely just letting you know that he is there watching over you, maybe even protecting you, or he could be letting you know that everything is ok with him since his passing and doesn't want you to worry.

yes I definately believe that he is trying to contact you. My gradfather contacts me all the time at it first started with his scent. So i am pretty sure that your father is there watching over you.

My brother was killed in a motorcycle accident when I was eight years old. Until I was in high school, I could smell him and sometimes hear him playing guitar and singing to me.

In my experiences Investigating hauntings I've come to the conclusion that the majority of the time in most legitimate cases of hauntings this is a normal occurance, somerimes the spirit just isnt ready to move on or they dont realize they are dead and in other cases they are attached to something they had in there previous life or they have left something unattended and like in your case after the timely demise of a loved one stopping by to say good bye before moving on.

My aunt gave me a christmas cactus before she died and the whole time she had it it had never bloomed. The day she died I woke up and there was a big pink bloom on it so I knew she was gone. It didn't bloom again till one year later on the same day she had died then there was the big pink bloom on it again so I knew she was ok and letting me know that way.

I think it is very possible that he is saying Hi.... especially if it is a very intense smell... that's when you know it wasn't just what you mind wasw remembering....

It is quite likely that he is indeed watching over you in your daily affairs and you may have found a tear in the veil which allowed you to experience what you did.

I get that a lot, actually.. small reminders of people who have passed on that were close to me at one point in my life.. its reassuring.

I think it is very possible! My mother made her presence known to two family members after her death. It was a very comfortable feeling for all of us to know that she was there.
