do you believe in the power of menifestation?...

can you believe that something will happen and it does...have you ever tried to menifest something into life...

I know I have and it worked...I believe I would get a fone call and I did...I also believed I would get money and I did...

what are your thoughts?...

can you really menifest things into being or is that just luck that you got what you wanted...

I don't see why it can't be possible... I have tried at times but I don't think I tried hard enough... I'm not sure to tell you the truth... One thing I heard and I have to say I believe is, "there are no coincidences in life." I can't remember where it was said or who but it has always stuck with me... I hope this helps a little at least...

Here is an example of something I invite you to assess.

A friend and I where out walking,he mentioned how he didn't get paid until the following day. Not that he was broke just that he had no leisure money for coffee.
As we wandered, he spotted a coffee he looked at it , and looked around for the owner. The coffee was still fresh, and hot. Now the question was that support for manifestation?

Ok so let us look behind the scenes, where was this majic coffee found how did my directive walking play a part in the discovery of the coffee?apon hearing that he was thinking of coffee i went into the coffee place route.Walking to the area btwwenn two coffee place.
with shops in between notablly cloths shops.Where the retail workers drink plenty of coffee all day long and customers leave there beverages upon entering.

I truly doubt there is such a thing as menifestation.

Menifestation: A) Where males are overcrowding every inch of your home and living space resulting in the need for a specialist to rid you of them. Often done by placing cans of beer and remote control devices outside of the door.

B) The ability to dream of a man and have him appear. (I know several women on VR who would love to possess this ability. ;)

I believe it works. My friend who has a slight case of kleptomania says that she never gets caught(which she hasn't yet) stealing because she gets it in her mind that its hers and she can just walk out with and no one will stop her. so far so good. I never go shopping with her anymore though.

As for what you are classifying as "m'a'nifestation, this would be known as summoning, a small portion of alchemy.

The individual thinks hard enough about needing, wanting, or desiring that certain something, then after a while, depending on how strongly said individual thinks on it...It usually "m'a'nifests itself for said individual...Hence the summoning.

There were times when i was broke, not a dime in my pocket, and I would be walking down the street and see a $20 bill, and another, and another. I would be in the Goodwill store and buy a pair of jeans and find a $5 bill in the pocket. These seemed to menefest (sic) without conscious will, but I saw no reason to analyze stuff like that. Just thank the Gods.

Yes it is possible, I have done it several times.

A part of me thinks....yea okay tell that to the people in the 3rd world and see what happens......I think perhaps a mixture of possitive thought and action makes more sense to me.

I have been able to manifest things before. I think on them really hard and determine why exactly I want them. As I continue thinking about them I write it down and start thinking about the steps it may take for the thing to come to me. I write down the item, some intermediate steps, try to guess at some timelines and monitor progress towards the manifestation by checking the intermediate steps against the timelines.

I've been able to manifest things in this manner, following the above prescribed procedures. The key is to determine how huch you really want the thing and why, then put it above otherthings as you follow the procedures. It works.

I do belice in the power of manifestation! In both its positive and negative forms. I have seen it work for me inboth ways. In my life. When I realised that the negative worked too well I started to train myself to be more positive in my thoughts, wants & deeds.

Do you actually take any steps, make any physical actions or do you just think about these steps?

If you're taking physical action, then in my opinion, it's no longer a manifestion by mind, but a product of the steps that were taken to obtain the "item".

If you believe in something and want it, strong enough, I'm sure you could manifest it. I've done it a couple times trying to get a job or wanting a quick $5 and I've gotten them. Its all in your will.

Nothing can be manifested through stagnation. That includes using only your thoughts. It must work through action. We learned this from the Gita. Even working on a dream board will help. All manifestations are created by action.

I believe that if we put good thoughts into the Universe to manifest they do. I have read many good books on this subject....one I am reading now is Wisdom from the Ascended Masters. It tells you to picture what you want into the Universe through meditation.

Thank you 10241024, as I said, I was curious what you meant. The physical steps to me didn't consitute manifestation.

Summoning or goal-setting works most of the time, but not always. With goal setting you visualize what you want, in as much detail as you can --- what it feels like, smells like if it is a possession. Something more intagible, like say a job, involves imaginaing what you would do in that position, and you would feel.

Write down the object of your desire and again detail the steps to acquire it, intensely imagining performing each and every one of them.

Your mind cannot distinguish between "real" and "imagined." It learns whatever you program it to learn, so that as life proceeds you respond along paths and tracks you've already set down.

In other words, you're prepared to react appropriately when you find yourself in the right place at the right time, whether you even recognize it consciously as the right place, right time.

I say it works most of the time because what you're attempting is to control variables, and for most of us that's impossible 100% of the time. Shite happens.

Put your mind to anything and most likely it will happen. Its called a self fulfilling prophecy.

This reminds me of the now widely commercialized book and DVD, 'The Secret', which explains the rules of attraction... that if you have a positive mindset, that positive things will come to you... that when you send out a certain energy into the universe that it channels that and responds accordingly.

I really am not quite sure if this works or not... although I could say it has worked for me in a couple of instances, it hasn't in others.

Haven't read "The Secret" but there's always some new guru or gimmick propounding positive thinking.

thinking positively is not enuf. You also have to visualize the goal in sufficient detail, that it's almost as if you have what you want. The key is follow-through on the details, the step-by-step you've outlined.

Most people just "wish."

Also, there have been laboratory tests on this kind of visualization, primarily with athletes, and how mental practice enabled them to improve their golf scores, dives, etc.

doesn't mean they gaveup their workouts. The visualization was in addition.

everyone keeps telling me to read and or watch "the Secret" like it's some big answer out there to explain everything. i simply believe that if you set your mind to things, ain't nothing "reasonable" that you can't do...hence a manifestation.

I think that some of these situation people have mentioned can be attributed to human physcology. Wishing and thinking about an item and then finding it could be attributed to paranormal forces, or perhaps, since you are thinking about it alot and it is in your mind, you tend to notice it.

In dabbler's story about the coffee in the woods. How many of us have seen litter and not paid any attention to it. In this example, it may have the been simple desire for coffee that made the two notice the litter.

Have you ever bought a car and then noticed how many of the same model were out their, or perhaps even just the color of the car. You thought it was a nice color and all of a sudden everyone is driving cars of that color. Nothing really changed except your perceptions.

You may have noticed something just because you were thinking of it, not necessarily that your thinking made it appear.

I believe some humans have the powers to do certain things. Manifestation I fell could be achieved if a person had been given that gift. I also believe in a medium. I've had some physic events occur in my life, only twice, but I do believe.

Ok, here's a true story; you can decide whether or not you believe it was a manifestation:

Back in late 2001, I was out of town. I had quit my job to go and spend time with a loved one who was in his final days here on earth. I practically lived at the hospital, and got by on money I had saved. At one point, I had nearly used up all my monetary resources, and I desperately needed more. I thought, "I only need $100; that will be sufficient at present." So, I visualized a $100 bill -- in detail -- thought about it, concentrated on it, then went on about my everyday business.

A few days later, I received a check in the mail for $100. It was the refund check for a dorm deposit from a college I had attended four years previously. I hadn't even known I was owed $100. Also, it came to the address where I was residing -- the place where I grew up, where I had not lived for (at the time) 7 years.

Manifestation? I think so. :)

I do believe in the power of manifestation. That visualising something you want to obtain and then setting things in motion helps bring about that manifestation.

A good example for me was my doing a course in counselling. I every paper I turned in, every exam I sat for, I visualised myself standing in front of a crowd, graduating and having my diploma handed to me. Every time I got nervous I kept up the visualisation until I was finally handed that diploma.

People who seek miracles, miss coincidence every time. Even on a subconscious level we intervene on our own behalf. I do admit though, after coming through dire straits, even a simple stumper event is enough to stir my sneaky suspicions and believe even if for a brief moment, but in hindsight it is temping to sustain that moment
, kind of cheapens it for me. So I call it focused self gifting.

Again I say as long as one believes in something hard enough anything is possible. I find it amazing the things one can do with the power of the mind and spirit.
