If fictional vampires were real, what kind of vampire would you be? The romantic, the monster, the...'create your own'? Give details please, I don't want a poll question here.

I would be a 'create your own', a force for good. I'd be a female version of Mick St. John from 'Moonlight', that had Toreador and Tremere tendencies :)

I would not change my nature to become a fictional vampire, I would remain the same person as I am today.

the fictional type of vampire that I like the sound of is one with a soul (Angel and later Spike), but not avenging like someone else said.

Yeah, I have never honestly understood how a vampire doesn't have a soul when if have feelings, emotions, and desires. Soul-less to me equates to no feeling. So I get ya ;)

I guess being demon would account for the soullessness but still having desires, but by being part human gives added emotions, yet still having the vampire characteristics

a very quiet sneaky kind would not ever know I was coming and then it would be all over that quick, that quietly ....

I would be the hideous Nosferatu (the white wolf version) simialr to Daedalus in the TV series Kindred: The Embraced.

My disfgured features would drive me to live underground, where I would exist in a realm of art and beauty of my own making, something like the Phantom of the Opera :-)

I beleive i would be a Gangrel type simply because I have a wild nature and love nature such as woods, parks, but i do also take energy from storms, lighting, thunder etc so i'm nor sure where that would fit in??

Fictional i would have to say, the victorian era vampire, mysterious yet alluring, much like interview with the vampire. I think this woul suit me to a tee.

I have to go with the "make your own". As a roleplayer I have delved into the many kinds of vampires, including Anitaverse, Ricean, Carpathian, etc.; my best characters have been those I created combining V:tM (White Wolf) and being as historically correct as possible. And each has a part of me in them--so I would suppose, my vampires are me as I wish I could be.

In real life I feel out of place in "present" time; I prefer keeping my storylines to Renaissance Era. I would say that in the eyes of most, they would be considered the "romantic" vampire. As for the one character of mine that is closest to me, I suppose his nature and demeanor would be considered like Marius--artistic, scholarly, and romantic--yet powerful and deadly.

I also would have to say the Victorian Style and Era, I love everything about that era aand the Vampire tales of then .. ummmm Sensusal, sexy and just very aluring LOL

Its very hard for me to survive without going to space and getting there space energy.

once i gain cosmic energy there, I really become demon. Coz sc a powerful flow in, I cant handle and it makes me more and more powerful and more powerful I really become demon the beast and bark in the space, after few minute the fed energy. I do get my self calm by merging into space, or I think i become monster. Aah when i gained the energy, the my materialistic eye is like sank in the cave. every object visible to me as if I am looking them from deep dark caves and the object is in twilight. it remain for hours even sun rays are seem like that only when i taken space energy. its simply a bliss and I love to walk in he even hard sun, its my feeling as if I am floating on the road or on the place.

If its odd when in public, to go to subtleness, goes to active mind state and open my arms and open my al psychic centres to the nature around us and get inflow of aura, that too bliss but not powerful. its most graceful ut nto powerful as space energy. when aura fall on me as if its piped over me of 2 feets least diametre, as long as the flow fall over me, wthin 15 to 20 seconds I am full of aura and psychic energy and flow after that goes to sphere and earth only and I have taken sufficient energy and after that its waste for me.

If we're going for true fiction...

I'd be the romantic, sensual style vampire. Not necessarily friendly all the time, and violent when I need to. Even as a vampire, I can't see myself wanting to go crazy, and massacring (Is that a word?) humans. I'd be a fighter when necessary, but more amused by the pleasures of existence than the painful sides =)

Names people can pronounce are generally helpful. But if I had all the skill plus a hard to articulate title, or jacked up name period for that matter, I wouldn't complain too much ;)

I'd have some kind of weird latin name. I love annoying, hard to pronounce names.

Well I would assist those children in need and I would be a romantic type. I would dedicate my life to eradicating child abuse and I would spend my spare time looking for my soul mate and treasuring every moment with them. but then again being sensual and enjoying the sexual side of life would be interesting too.

I Think that I would be at constant war with myself, wanting to be a "good" vampire where I used my new found powers to do good in the world within my capabilities. Yet surely there would be an animalistic side as well, that needs to feed to survive.

I think that I would veer to the "romantic" side as that is how I am now. I would have to be cunning and somewhat reclusive. Time would be endless so I would spend much of it learning to hone my powers to my advantage. I also feel that I would be somewhat scholary as think of all the things you could learn over the hundreds of years.

Well i most likely would be a version of myself to be honest but torn between being good and evil.
I would try to overcome the true evil people in the world and right the wrongs but also release the bad that i have always wanted to release from inside myself as well.

I love the fact that the Ventrue are the business types and all the quizzes online put me as a Ventrue. But I'd probably be a long haired biker rebel type. I dunno, being unfettered is just kind of sexy if you ask me.

I would be a world dominator. Someone who went from town to town, infecting certain key people in the populace, having them control the towns, and all of them answering to me. Changing to the world to suit my tastes, and caralling the humans to feed and please me.

For the first 100 yrs. probably be wild brat. Biting & feeding till dawn. Then I might calm down . Hey its a lot to get use to.

I think maybe the "Lost Boys" type vamp, but ride with a 1% gang, forever 25 years old. Self educated and intelligent, but very introverted. Live a gypsy life and not stay in one place too long. Use multiple names so no one would connect me with myself, and talk about myself in the third person sometimes. I would take enough blood to fill my thirst and not kill to survive, except those who deserve to die, and I would shoot or off them in some other way. I would have the ability of invisibility, and shape shifting. And 2 or 3 vamp lovers, and some human lovers who get off by sharing their blood with me. Long blonde hair, multipierced, and tattooed, black leather and denim, none of that frilly Anne Rice crap.

I do believe I would be more of a romantic type of vampire. Very passionate and decisive. Though I would be of a romantic nature I would be a loner as well watching life pass me by. Watching the people and the little things they do.... Maybe I would be a philosopher as well.... There is allot of time when you're a vampire so why not try to be it all at sometime or another?

I would be the romantic type as well. I'm a romantic type of person so I think it would carry over if I was a vampire as well. I would be like Jean Claude off the Anita Blake vampire series. Romantic to one person only and that would be the one I love.

Yeah I'd go for the Mysterious Romantic type but with a dangerous streak, classic vampire of lurring you in with promisses of love and a new life and offering only death. I wouldn't be the self hating avenging type because whats the point in being a vampire and living forever if you hate it.

I would be a self created, a beautiful monster that is full of rage and destructive but also romantic that is slave to his deepest passion that lives in his heart and only the being with the right essence could ever tame the beast enough to see his true nature and not fear him, but the rest of the world still has much to fear...

I would be self-created, taking on the traditional character of Vlad the Impaler, in combination with Rasputin, even if he was not a vampire. I tend to prefer the industrial/modernistic concepts of technology and symmetry while stll maintaining the comfort of natural surroundings. I do not value human life nor flesh and blood for its own sake, so dignity over prey has to be earned.

I tend to me rather self centered as it is.

well i really like the vampires from Stephine meyers twilight saga only because sun doesnt kill them or hurt them but of course the essentials like strength speed power beautity immortality european vampire i guess

I would be more of a romantic vampire...because well...I am obcessed with supernatural romance stories....

I'd be a smurf vampire. Why? A couple of reasons. First off, smurfs are adorable and I would have no problem catching a bite from people who were cooing over seeing a pint size blue creature that would stir up fond childhood memories. Secondly, since I would be small- it wouldn't take much blood to keep me going. A third reason to be a smurf vampire is that if I'm already blue, than no one could tell that I was undead or emo.

I would have to say I'd be a blood-thirsty beastly type of vampire. The kind whose just as likely to take a chunk of flesh as sip the blood. I'd delight in being able to out-maneuver the slayers.

I would say this kind of vampire is probably some sort of human demon, meaning it hides within a human form but has demonic origins.

I would probably be a create your own...or maybe not...my ideal would be a romantic with a darker side who is witty and jokes and able to joke about myself when necessary but also be a force to be reckoned with when made mad...

Yea, as much as I love the Twilight Saga, I would be one of them, great smelling, perfect looks, sun doesn't hurt them, and each vampire has a special gifts as well, such as mind-reading, clairvoyance, etc. The special gift comes from your human life, for example, if you could read people easily as a human, you might be able to read their minds as a vampire, etc.

If I could choose, I would want to be like the Vampires in Twilight..... can go out in the day as long as they keep out of the public eye, can feed off animals to survive, etc. It seems like an easier transition to me.

But if it was involuntary, I'm sure I'd wind up as one of the bad guys. Like a Dracula type.

If I were a media vampire.... I would be a beautiful seductress with piercing violet eyes and long black hair. I would kill those who were greedy and lustful, caring only for themselves and nothing but their own pleasures. I would draw them to me with promises of pleasure, then steal their life away once we were alone. So in a way, I would be good, even if I was a murderess. I'd be ridding the world of those undeserving to live.

In reality though, I am but a simple hybrid vampire with a longing for blood and energy. Nothing all that special here. I wish I could be as cool as my fantasy. Heh.

I would love to be a fiction vampire from J.R. Ward's "Black Dagger Brotherhood" series. I would be one of the female vampires. They are strong, powerful, and their men look after and protect them viciously.

I would also love to be a female version of Spike. He is quick-thinking, extremely cunning, and a total badass that you just don't want to f*** with! LOL

I would be the "oh so unoriginal" type of vampire. The ones that made us wonder with mystery and even a little bitter taste of envy.

I would be the type that had cold veins and a longing look in the vibrant, old, wise, and lifeless eyes. With pale skin, of course. The kind that walk the street and pry on helpless victims and when I'm done- feel the emptiness from their hearts in mine and cry curses to God's creatures. Where I live decades alone and have knowledge from every era and an intelligent bite and wit.

If I'm going to be a vampire- I might as well be the one that actually attracted me to this whole genre to begin with.

I see myself as being very reclusive, holed up in an old castle full of books constantly reading and learning. When I emerged to feed it would be on the people that the local population would be grateful to be rid of, criminals, rip off artists, unscrupulous people. Sort of a vigialante vampire!

Not exactly welcome, but not a terror to the average citizen such that they come out with the torches and pitchforks!

Wearing a completely black monk's robe and armed with a huge samurai sword. I would appear out of thin air as a little black cloud, just becoming solid long enough to cut the head off the bad vampire before immediately fading back to cloud and then nothingness ... by the time the vampire had gone *poof* and dustified, I would be gone too ... leaving witnesses wondering if they had imagined the whole thing.

Vampires would be executed for not behaving like vampires, showing reflections in mirror, eating garlic, playing with crosses and so on

The one that would be there to watch over others and take care of different things but the one that would do whatever was needed to protect the ones that I cared about. The rough rugged type that would just catch everyone's no matter what direction they were going.

I think i would want to be the romantic type. They seem to be more "powerful" in regards to "glamor"

Pretty much as I am now, or at least that's how I'd end up after going through a maturation process. Probably do some slumming and kicking ass activities in the beginning, hanging out in those scary places where ordinary humans get destroyed. I'd love to let the cholla in me run wild, alternating with my nerdier activities. Humans would be precious to me, something to savor.
