MMh I saw something that remined me of this question.

Has anyone felt or know that they are from another life.

The past, doing things or saying things that you normally would not do but other people catch you doing it.

Are you from the PAST?

Another life, another name, another family, a soldier, a lord, a servant, etc.

Once in awhile I have nightmares that remind me of a past life. They are vague and its hard for me to put things together and make sense of it. I'm a civilian in a foriegn country thats under attack. I am very young and watch my parents die in front of me. I'm left by myself and scared to death... I wrote about it in my journal. I'm not sure what it all means, just that I wake up screaming and crying. I'll never forget the way I feel in those dreams, ever.

im pretty sure i was an enraged Gorilla ^_^, then a fluttering dragon fly ^_^...

a psychic friend once told me that this is the first of my lives in which i've been female

and that in my most recent previous life i was a charismatic religious leader who embezzled money from my church.

he was probably full of shit, but I dont have any thoughts of my own on the matter.

OK, has any one noticed that if you ask any one "What were you in your past life?" They always respond, "Me? O I was a great King that ruled over many lands." or "Oh I was a beautiful Goddess that the world worshiped!"
Why cant any one just get real and say, "In my past life my name was Ockmon, the nasty smelling goat herder."
As for my self I had to be a bug that was a science experiment of a child..... >; )

i once had this dream where i was in a burning building i was like one of the old fashion buildings well i went to a libray and looked some things up and in 1936 an old meeting house burnt down. the weirdest part was that i knew were rooms had been and peoples names that had worked there without even looking at the blueprints. i was soo freaked out that i looked into the death records for that night in the fire someone died i think that it was me. in the dream iwas running around looking for an exit i finally found one and i couldnt get out thats when i woke up it was sooooo weird

Let's put it this way, I don't know if I believe in past lives or future lives .. I'll know when I'm dead .. if i do have more lives you better believe that I will be right back here on VR doing the same thing I do now LOL >;^}

I made this thread myself not too long ago and the answer is yes i do believe in past lives but i also think that who some people are having memories of, are not always themselves. some might believe they were gods, and in reality they were maybe their servants etc. Everything is not always as it seems. Question everything.

i think everybody has already lived a life before,in another consistance..i believe in reincarnation so....i am sure i was some mouse in my past life cause i have a snakes-phobie in this life....(hopely i wasnt any rat:-)) )

It would seem to simple to believe that our Spiritual journey would end here. The soul is much more than flesh an bone. It began somwhere else before we were born. As such it will continue once this body has long gone.

hehe another thread about past lives, and like I said in other threads:yes I believe in them and yes I think I 've got past lives cause of my dreams and dejavu.Just yesterday I had a dejavu.I entered an old house and felt I was there before.Felt very welcome and happy in it.
Still I don't feel 100% sure so I say I think rather I had past lives.

Recycled souls? Why not, do I personally believe that I was born long ago and just repeat lives over and over again until I get it right is something that could be true. I have had feelings of being here before but I will not say I was Napoleon.

My friend is convinced that she has had several past lives. She has been through regression therapy and remembered them vividly.

I however, am not sure if I believe the idea of reincarnation, or like the thought of my soul being recycled. It does interest me, but it still clashes with my current philosophies.

im pretty sure that some of my memories are form past lives. I'll remember things that never happend to me and that I didnt see in movies. sometimes it scares me cause I think that I might be going that its just crazy but Im pretty sure they're just memories of a past life.

I don't have a lot of luck. I'm still trying to make it to twenty-five. When I was younger I apparently used to talk about "last time I lived" but I don't remember ever saying it. I started remembering things about six years ago. My last life wasn'y much different from this one in terms of my beliefs and opinions but physically I'm very different (plus I was a minister's daughter :/ )

The clearest memory I have of another past life is dying. I was from a wealthy family and in love with a village boy whom my father disapproved of so he paid the gardener to kill me one stormy night. I found my tombstone when I was on Holiday in Eire last year. It really creeped me out. (That story sounds like such a cliche but I swear it's true)

In my past life I was a cat that got hit by a car and survived. In the next life, I want to be a cheetah or a tiger. 8^D

I was once told by someone that I was a slave in a past life. That I worked in someone's kitchen. That would explain why I love to cook and can create so great meals out of nothing. But then again, it could mean nothing. I haven't had any dreams about places or things that could be verified. I do feel like I am doing something that I have done before.

I believe in past lives. I have had at least 2. In one, I was a whore in a harem somewhere, but I was prized for having firey red hair-which I dont have.
In another, I owned an inn and was male.
I am now in my 3rd life.

i remember things in dreams of people and places that i havent been, but the dreams are so vivid that i feel like im there then when i wake i met someone or talk to them and i remember where and when i knew them, they are my dark messengers. Reminding me of where i really came from.

I saw a documentary on reincarnation. A young man was shot in the head during a burglary in India, at the same time another boy was being born. On the babies head was a birth mark in the same spot where the man was shot in the head. As this child got older he started to remember certain things and told his parents about it. Since he was too young to have these experiences they began to think. They somehow found the parents of the man who was shot and brought them to see this child. To child remembered them and told broken stories that related to there son. Reincarnation…Fact or Fiction? You decided.

ive ran into a lot of people who 'see' themselves as rulers , "gods" etc but a shaman friend of mine told me that sometimes people can get information jumbled up a lot and they will see themselves as such and just maybe only be the 'servant' etc. of said "god" or ruler. If you can't see the whole picture, don't assume that's what YOU were.

I don't believe that animals are born into a human body or visa versa. I believe that human souls stay in human form and animal souls stay animal.

I sometimes wonder if I was male in my past lives. I have feelings sometimes that I was. Espically with my thought patterns lol. I rather like being a girl in this life though. I am to girly.. lol

I have expensive taste and enjoy the finer things inlife. I link this back to maybe at one time living in a family that had wealth. I don't feel that I was ever a goddess, god, rular, queen, or something around that. I think I was just a person with wealth.

For all I know I could have been some street whore back in the times. lol

well the whole dream thing i say i agree with freud dreams are just wish fulfilment so if you wish you were queen or you are obsesed with it for lack a better word in your dreams you will fulfil that. like i've played next levels of games in my dreams before and when i wake up i just follow the dream and win thats cuz my mind so wanted to win so in the dream it happened then i kinda mimic that dream and yeah.. lol

Im not sure. I think i might have been from the past because sometimes i will go to places or caves or something and feel like i have been there before and know stuff about the place yet have never been there before.

yes I agree some dreams are just wishes but if the same dream is repeated constantly then it can be not.I just dreamed of other times and had the same dreams since I was a child so they can be for a reason but still I guess no one can say he/she is sure...or maybe not

I have many recurring dreams.. dose this mean that I have had more than one past life? One is where I am driving down a road, that seems to be very familar but, suddenly it alwayse ends there. So now when I go down any road I'm not famillar with I alwayse look to see if it is the one in my dream.

i have a fear of water which nothing has every happened to me that involed water...so i ofen think maybe it has soemthign to do with a past life

me and my cuz tryed a spell to open our mind and what i saw was my past. it was more like pictures in my mind going like 500 mph. but what i do remember was that i was born in 1781 200 years before my last birth. i saw that i was a witch of high power and was able to control the 5 elemants. fire, wind, water, earth, and spirit. i was burned about the age of 43..from there i dont know much more of my past..i do see things in my dreams now that scare me of my past. i hope one day i will see it all

All I know about my past lives is that I'm in my seventh life. I have the oldest spirit of anyone in our group and for some reason, I have always been able to pick my lives. They aparently get progressively worse. That's all I have been allowed to say.

I've had memories from things that haven't happened in the life I'm living now. I have memories of things that happened in my family before I was born. I don't know I don't ponder it that much i just accept it.

Well reincarnation is the reincarnation of a PEICE of the soul, so that the individual ends up with characteristics from thier past life (s)....and so that they normally don't have memory of thier past lives before. I've only had one other past life...lol. It's kind of a long story, so I won't get into it...but if you're interested in finding out about past lives...there are people who can read your past lives...seriously read them..not just some idiot psychic. I mean...I have abilities to do things...and I've read into people's past lives before...but I can't always do it by will yet. I'm working on it. But you can find people out there who can do that...you just have to know where to look.
