Dragons are one Creature displayed and honored through out the World by many Cultures.
I have seen many profiles that display and love them as well.
Myself included.
What fasinates you about this Creature, and do you believe they existed at one time in this world.

Well no matter where you look through out history you hear of the tales of dragons from one culture to another they may different in shapes and sizes, but yet they are always spoke of. We know that dinosaurs existed, so why is it so far fetched that dragons didn't as well ? Granted the only dragons you see this day in age are the remnants of what was long ago. We have the Eastern and the Western dragons, which are different in body form but still they are held sacred to each culture and celebrated to this day.
They exist, just in a different plane of existence then us.
There is even dragon magic that can be done, when one is in tune and vibrating to the right frequency to see and feel dragons.
*coughs*^^
Yes dragons were real.just because you dont see one..
dosent mean they didnt exsist.Maybe when dragon grew old..the flew in the mountians or seas and died.
Prob why no bones have been found as of yet.
dragons exsist still as spirits..that have reincarnated
into human bodies.
so many dragons exsisted...many shapes,colors,sizes,
kinds, and very smart to only acting on animal instinct.
i dont see why they did not exist during the prehistoric times
Dragons are real. They just live in secrecy. They don't want to be found because then they might be killed.
That's my opinion, though.
I have done a terrific study and plenty of research around Dragons and other supposedly "mythological" beings.
I can say from the findings of my research and studies that most of the "mythological" beings did and still do exist but not in the relative term. They exist on an ethereal plane, another dimension known as the Golden Age.
Civilization goes through certain aging process that humans tend to create out of either curcumstance, or chance. We seem to have a Bronze Age - Iron Age - Silver Age and a Golden Age of man according to Greek mythology and legend as per the use of a metaphor for describing the growth of civilization.
Now, according to some Utopian beliefs, both political and religious, hold that the Golden Age will return after a period of blessedness and gradual decadence is completed.
In my perspective, I think this means that after all the hallaballoo of conspiracies has ended IE world's at war etc. Then the foundations of "New Atlantis" scenerios could be born and these "mythological" beings could return of their own accord if the world were treated better then it has been by civilization.
The dragon is no exception to this outline for civilization. It has been most prominent throughout civilization, and will remain so during the cycles of human existance. Now whether or not a true flying, firebreathing dragon has been seen recently is up in the air.
If one looks at a Geode or Thunder egg, one would come to the conclusion that these could be refered to as Dragon eggs. Don't qoute me on this as it is simple speculation... Never can tell.
Very informative as always Souls, and yes I can see the point of seeing them as dragons eggs with the shape and such.
Thankyou ~LDR~, an interesting read would be: Book of the Dragon Tooth by Michael Green. This book contains a few manuscripts regarding a supposed Dragon tooth that was lost a few centuries ago.
Now, whether or not this tooth is real or not is pure speculation until it is found.
Whether or not the book is a work of fiction still remains to be seen... As it is very well written and well documented on the true secret histories of both the Dragon and Unicorn respectively.
Dragon's actually still exist in my opinion. Think about it, first off the komodo dragon. They actually have an island of their own if I'm not mistaken. I don't know the full details but I will research it and then post here again unless someone beats me to it.
Also dinosaurs to me are a form of dragon, they are extinct now as most of know, at least most dinosaurs. I believe alligators and crocidiles(probably spelt wrong) are a form of dinosaurs that have survived somehow through the centries.
((pardon my spelling today my keybored has sticky keys))
Anyways Dragons like the ones of legend however, I believe they have existed as well but are deep in the ground or at least their remains are. They probably were the most intelligent beings on earth. If they are still living then they have taught themselves to have their spirits brought above the grounds so that way humans such as ourselves would know some of the knowledge they possess of the ancient times. I believe dragons are a creature of spirit mostly, but still they may exist.
And btw this is just a theory of mine. Something I have felt from the spirits. I am a channeler and sometimes the spirits do tell me things, and this is not in my head. It is a fact. But about the dragons, again it's just a theory of mine, for the ancient dragons. But there are modern day dragons.
Ok, well, this thread is for the dragon master. I've been obsessed and researching dragons my entire life. It's been 10 years since I 'thought' I saw my first dragon. I'm still speculative on whether or not I can believe in astral dragons. I know for sure the physical dragons existed or possibly still do exist. In my research I've found that they in fact lived along side dinosaurs. There are many distinct species throughout dragons and it's come to my knowledge that the so called "Wyvern is most likely the actual 'dragon', not the six-limbed fire-breather we hear so much about. All through history there has NEVER been a land or air creature with more than four limbs other than insects. It's not plausible. Also, having six limbs would just weigh the dragon down. Flight would be impossible. 4 limbs, two being the wings, would be somewhat possible, but it's most likely just for gliding. Many theory's have evolved into figuring out how a dragon or 'wyvern' could fly and breathe fire. The fire is speculative, but who knows what these creatures could do. Flight on the other hand is still somewhat possible. Gas in the stomach has been a theory, but for this to work, many of the organs in the body would have to be extremely small, so it's not so likely. Extremely, large and feathery wings would be the only real option, but why would a reptile be so large and have feathery wings. It's ok for smaller creatures like the Archeopteryx. Now, as for different species of dragons, who knows. In china and russia, dragons are supposedly descended from similar creatures as komodo dragons. In fact, it's believed the Komodo Dragon and the crocodile are the direct descendants of Eastern dragons. In the West, the actual wyvern is most likely it's own species. In the america's, dragons are most likely a misconception. The Questacoatl in central America is thought to be the Coatl bird. Who knows for sure? In Africa, a dragon is supposed to be so big that it picks up elephants. While this is higly unlikely, there IS one species of dragon that is almost certainly still alive. The most famous of these creatures is believed to live in Scotland. The famous Nessie herself is, according to most scientists, and I quote "a prehistoric creature that has survived for billions of years.* This is just another form of terming the dragon, which is also a prehistoric creature that has survived. It's not really that impossible. The snake, alligator, crocodile, shark, and spider have all been very much alive beside dinosaurs and have NOT changed a bit since then. The only difference is; they have become smaller because their food became smaller. The idea is that dragons are very much still alive in the physical realm, just a lot smaller than they used to be. Thank you folks, I just might be posting me later. My fingers are cramping, lolz.
Animal Plant aired an awesome show called Dragon’s World: A Fantasy Made Real a few years ago, it was about all the physiology behind dragons and how they could have survived since the dinosaurs. I really enjoyed it and used a lot of info from it in a project I did in high school. I would recommend looking it up if anyone is interested.
They were around its just the fools are putting the bones together wrong so they can be right. Just like our Nessi is around and hiding the dragon hides to. We all love the power and mystic image of the dragon. Who does not love the dragon?
I personally don't think that they exsisted in this world, but I do beleive that they are real in the astral world.
I think that many cultures see them as a source of strength, and nobility, so they choose to have the dragon on their sheilds or family crests.
I want them to be real. I love the look and thought of dragons though I must admit I find them fascinating and terrifying at the same time. could you imagine if they were real and having contact with one who was tame enough to ride. wow now that would be something that words could not describe.
strength, beauty, poise, and agility all in one creature and all on display for the imagination to take and use at will.
i'm particularly fond of dragons because it is my chinese zodiac sign and the element of fire. Ever since knowing so, i have been collecting pieces that i'm drawn to, even artwork. I have had a few dragon dreams....so where someone above has mentioned believing in them on the astral may very well be true to my own experiences. my biggest question would be...if they didn't exist, why would our ancestors make them part of the art or stories along the walls in great detail of great historical sites? Why would they be made into tapestries of great castles? How does Vlad Dracul respectfully have anything to do with a dragon? Why does the bible write about a great red dragon? Apparently these creatures have made quite the impression from the past to now :)
Well, most of us here agree that dragons are real. And some of us agree, dragons are probably in hiding.
I believe in many mystical things.
Here is an article I found researching and thought you might find it to be of interest. Here is also the web address if you want to view it yourselves.
http://ancientthoughts.com/creatures/dragons/are-dragons-real.htm
Are Dragons Real?
There are three ways that dragons can exist. The first is symbolically, as an idea or a philosophy. While these can have every bit as much of an impact on the world as a truely monstrouse beast, perhaps even more, it is a less overt, direct exisence.
The second is by definition. On earth there can be found a creature known as teh Komodo Dragon. A large dangerouse predator lizard, it has the name dragon, and yet is not considered one in a traditional sense. On other planets, there are many creatures which ahve evolved with characteristics similar to that of a traditional dragon from human lore. Unfailingly these are categorized by human scientists along various biological features, completely overlooking the obvious similarities these independently occurring species have to one another, and to the traditional dragon. The large, fire breathing, flying lizard, with a penchant for shiney objects known as the sciliopath of Vegii 9 (a newly discovered species which some realities may not yet have knowledge of them yet) is one of the best examples of an undefined dragon. While the need to define things along evolutionary direct biological lines is understandable from a scientific standpoint, it shouldnt stand in the way of a deeper understanding of the reality of the universe, and of the dragon.
Special Note: Recent discovereies have shown that there is a mystical connection which may exist between all of the independently evolved dragons which have appeared on seperate planets throughout the universe. This common trait may be a result of these creatures existing on a more subtle spiritual level as transdimensional biengs, that only resurface as biological creatures in our reality. Some indications show that this may even be a trait shared by creatures other then dragons.
The third way dragons can exist is based on a complex understanding of reality. Existence is made up of moments, and each moment has an infinite number of possibilities, each of which can lead to a different universe. Every single one of those universes exists realtive to our own, and can even impact on our own in certain subtle ways. This means that the reality we understand is only one momentary possibility, constantly changing, in an infinitely infinite sea of possibilities. In a truely infinite universe, everything is reality.
In some realities dragons do physically exist. In others, they once did. Along some lines of possibility, a universe where dragons exist, evolved into our current unioverse. In others, our own universe will one day evolve into one in which they exist. This understanding of the universe leaves all possibilities open, and provides us with a wider perspective of the nature of possibility, and teh reality of the dragon.

i do believe that dragons exist they are too powerfull to be fully killed off i believe that they may have transcended to another dimension because we have 13 dimensions and when the ancient ones of our world were around they revered and protected dragons but as the world went on people began to fear dragons and wished harm upon them so the dragons went to another dimension to await the time when they could return in all their former glory and reverence
honestly from reading all these post, I think in theory, perhaps we are all right. We have pretty much said the same thing, and agreed. Just in our different forms.
I do recall there being a show on discovery channel last year called when dragons lived, I will have to go and see if I can find a link for it. But it pretty much summed up what everyone has already said
"Souls" I will have to stop at borders and check to see if they have that book thanks ! =}
Expanding upon the point, and also probably repeating a lot of what other people have said, I wish to point out that hundreds of different civilizations thousands of miles a part from one another all spoke of dragons in ancient times. Granted, the plates that mark our planet's core have shifted quite a bit since then, yet, if dragons weren't real, or at least hadn't existed on this plane of existence at one point in time, why would different civilizations that had almost no way to contact each other all have writings/pictures/variations of the dragon?
I did watch that show on Animal Planet that talked about how dragons may have lived right along side the dinosaurs. In a sense, I do believe that dragons are real. Whether they can cloak their appearance (which is probable considering their images started popping up in the Golden Age predominantly) or they exist in the Astral plan, remains to be seen, however, as someone who has been fascinated with dragons all my life, I do believe that they did or still exist in this world.
No,they don't exist....they are imaginary beings.
As far as the Komodo Dragon in my terms.....its only a damn lizard just like a Chameleon or Iguana.
Dinosaurs were the inspiration for the dragon myths.
Well i do believe in dragons and apeman is reality. once the quantum machine is formed to cross time space, they will be in front of you and even then the human can not correct its evolution coz it will be very costly.
well spirits and conscious takes shape to attract person in its best mystery.
id like to believe they did exist. I collect dragons and wizards and castles. dragon is part of my name. too many cultures have their own dragon stories. And i wish the did exist now.. like in the movie eragon
Well according to history they did exist at some point, or one would believe they did. I feel they did and I am amazed at their skill of firebreathing. Well so the stories goes, I think i wouldlove to be a friend to a dragon LOl they just seem so mystical to me.
Im not sure if they existed or not Roma..but they are very beautiful creatures..would be awesome if they did..:)
Yes at one time i think they were very real, with that said i think sooner or latter they will come back to us
does anyone know when the final eragon book and the second movie is coming out?
I love dragons and everything about them....if they ever existed I cant say but what I do know is that scores of cultures that had no connections with one another all threw out our existance all speak of legends of the dragons and as we all are aware legend normally gets started by a shread of fact.
I do believe at some point in time on this planet a creature existed that couild be considered Dragon, else too many cultures that would have had no contact were all describing the same creature. What happened to it, I cannot say, perhaps it shifted to an alternate dimension when humans became too plentiful and violent toward them or they may have simply died off and it's fossilized remains resemble another creature so closely we cannot differentiate.
I do believe that there use to be dragons and in the world and I feel that the roll they play in the movies are a misrepresented . they are beautiful creatures and hold a mystical meaning .
hmmm, not sure if dragons exhist now. It's possible that fossils were found ages ago and were misinterpreted as dragons. ( I think my mother-in-law may be half dragon )
What fascinates me about dragons is the fact that there is a form for every element. They have temperments for the elements that represent emotions, urges or instincts of the human psyche, And simply I just like the way they look
I belive that there is truth in legends and that at one time they did, hell we had dinosaurs so why not dragons
Someone beat me to it... dinosaurs were the inspiration. Scientists today are still trying to recreate what dinosaurs actually looked like, how they moved, what they ate, etc. Now imagine hundreds and thousands of years ago. A group comes across the bones of a dinosaur. They place them together and hypothesize what creature it may have come from. They tell their story, an the story evolves over time to be the fire breathing, flying creatures we speak of today.
I love the mystery of dragons. They are to me beautiful creatures.
Don't people have to see something to write about it?
Maybe not in this age, but who really knows how old the planet is....or maybe they came from another planet.
So much mystery with dragons.
That's just what I was gonna say Curmudgeon. I think the ancients found Dinosaur bones and constructed what they looked like. I like their renditions better than modern sciences. They were probably right.
I have always loved dragons.I believe that they have been in this world and still are.
What i mean by this is that they were once real in this world. Now the essence of dragons are within man. They are powerful, wise, mejestic, and cultural within one lifeform.
i have a few friends that believe in dragon eggs of differant colors and energy popping levels and then other friends actually say that they have dragons that ride on thier shoulders they claim the dragons help them make life choices these friends all claim i have the gift to see them i do not wish to make them feel wrong but sadly i only see my friends auras clearly but do not see no form that is dragon :( i so wish i was in tune, i want to believe i try to see but only fail.
Dynosorus are the family of dragons and the reptiles are so beautiful that if you are in their vicinity, they will hunt you.
Dragons are in almost every ancient culture.
Even the kamoto dragons of today are so deadly, even if their saliva drops on you, you will die. Highly venemous. Perhaps causes an extreme burning sensation as to why the belief of Fire breathing dragons once existed.

glitter-graphics.com
Well the power that they represent. Also that they are viewed as incredibly intelligent creatures.
Yes I believe that dragons existed at one time.
The dragon is a fascinating creature in itself. It can fly, spit fire and possess magical power. What is not fascinating about it?
The dragon is an icon in many cultures.
I have heard them called: dragons, serpents, hydras, demons, dinosaurs, and behemoths.
Do I believe that they exsist?
I don't know. I agree and disagree on that subject.
there are so many stories through out history of them, and they represent so many different things, but i like the strength they represent
Yes I do believe they existed and still do. Many countries have what they call dragons. For example there is the Kokomodo dragon. We in Australia have the goanna. They say that these are relatives of the dinosaur which I believe is a form of dragon.
Dragons are powerful creatures which I feel is why we are fascinated by them. For a hugh creature they are portrait as graceful.
We present them as big, fierce creatures who can be loyal and very powerful. Yet we tend to be afraid of them because we are unsure of them. I believe in dragons and yes I think they existed and they still do.
I also like and respect dragons. I think that they repesent many wonderful and nessassary traits which humanity as a whole seems to have placed in their past and forgotten
Until there is scientific proof there is no way to know for sure.
Personally I like to believe that there were dragons long ago, all myths and legends have to originate somewhere. And they were originated in the dark ages long past the dinosaurs and cave men so unless they were even legends then after the ice age which I find slightly improbable but could still happen. I believe there were dragons at some point in time.
Dragons come in all forms, sizes and shapes. You find them spoken of all around the world. Even the Ouroborus is considered an African dragon. The one place though that I feel revered them the most and had the most lore about them is not the type of dragon most think of. The Otherkin community has them divided into Western and Eastern. As I was saying, the one country that really revered them was China. Here is an excerpt from an article I wrote. I have written a general one and one on China.
"Having unrivaled wisdom and power the dragon symbolized the Emperors of China themselves, who were actually called Dragons. Hsi, China's first Emperor was said to have a dragon's tail. Shen Nung, his successor was supposed to have been fathered by a dragon. The Chinese Emperor sat on a dragon throne, rode in a dragon boat and slept in a dragon bed. To distinguish the Chinese Imperial Dragon from all other dragons, only the Imperial Dragon bore five claws."
I feel there is enough said about them to make me think they lived at one time. I have always thought man hunted them into extinction. I think all we have left are small species that were related like the Komodo Dragon.
I think dragons do exist. In actuality most "myths" start from some sort of truth. Like Vampire's, living vampiers have to have blood as a sustainence to survie, physic vampires pull energies form people. So on and so forth. There is some kind of truth behind most myths. In my opinion it is plausible for there to be actual physical dragons, wether in the past or here in the present.
I do believe that dragons exist and they exist on another plane. They choose to not cross over as much now as perhaps they once did.
with all the different cultures around the world all havin dragon myths it impossible for them to not have existed
I adore dragons, they are wonderful, wise and unique creatures.
I too believe the exist only on a different plane to us. And only a lucky few get the opportunity to find them. I also believe that they don't cross over to our realm, as they were hunted too much.
if it was not for the dragon
there be no vampire
because the first vampire was held as the son of dragon
who revere the dragon as the devil
but the fools they are
the dragon and the devil are not the same
The fields around my city are filled with "dragon bones" as people call them.In reality they are huge bones of beasts from the ancient past. Not necessary saurians.
Maybe that is the origin of the Dragon legends. The people from the past, from the country said that dragons preceeded us.So if we consider what they considered dragons, the DRAGONS EXISTED and are very true.
The rest are beautiful legends that can teach us many things in a non-dialectical manner.
I love the dragons as symbols of human inner forces or symbols of naturee forces anI also like the bones.
Djarahna:
Thank you for the beautiful videos.I love the flying lizzards.I guess those are archeopteryx isn`t it?
Animal Planet has some of the most fasinating videos to explore on their web site. Just type in Dragon on their search engine to veiw them. Unfortunetly they can not be transferred here.
Dragons in some cultures are considered good luck. I guess what fascinates me about them is that they are powerful intriguing and are almost always full of honor. Also they represent a mystery, an enigma. I believe they exist but are very well hidden. Besides scientists are always discovering new creatures so who's to say maybe one day they won't find a dragon. I like the concept on the video game drakken the ancient gates that they've all went into a deep slumber in a secret place.
What i like about them is the magic and power of them.. I love them for thier beauty.. I think at one time they existed..Its a shame we do not see any anymore.
Say about me what you will ..I have caught glimpses of dragons 3 to be precise ..they changed by the time i got a full view on them one to smoke ..that stayed in the shape of a dragon for several minutes .one into a cloud ..that dissipated..after about 5 min ..I believe that they are magic and there fore turn back into magic once they die.
I believe that most of the physical dragons of our plane of existence are now dead...however, there are probably still a few still living in hiding.
I also believe that they are around us, existing in the astral plane...lending us their power when we ask.
I find them fasinating actually and I believe anything could be real until I'm proven wrong lol
Dragon do exist and have long before mankind came into existence and will be here long after. They don't visit our plane much but you can see them once and a while on late night eve's.
I dont think Dragons ever really existed but I think there just a more fantisized version of dinosaurs.
I must inquire for those who speak of Dinosaurs, How do you know if the ancients where right and for you is painted wrong? Why everything seams to resonance from others perspective, and on top of it create more theorems? Do you actually accept everything given without a possible reaffirmation by your intrigue? How do you know dinosaurs "bones" were well "that"? Do you believe archaeologist reveal a full extent of the findings they interpret? and do you believe a machine will tell you the approx' years of a chemicals extracted from a source? Many sciences collide with each other, evolutionist studies, genetics studies, plate tectonic studies, and in various cases archaeologist studies, is simply shifts perspective on who uncovers it and sometimes their explanation of things clash with all the others, as it might seems.
http://www.rae.org/paluxy.html
This is an article to the extent of which I want you to reason instead of tell weather is authentic or not, set aside the creationist and evolutionist standards, because they have their own agenda in the system; both looking to hold their life supply, but in my watch it may seem like the discovery this time was uncovered by other side of a group, and it seams they have no "conclusion" for the "anomaly" and mask it with" is not human prints until given examination" the only comment from evolutionist to this matter. All I can say is: Who says it has to be a "barefoot" impression, that had to be crumbled by erosion?. And for creationist, who says is a Dinosaur. Just my thought, not implying is Dragon either.
http://www.rae.org/paluxyphoto.html
i am just fascinated by dragons myth, legend, lore doesnt matter i like to read and learn about them. it could be that i am a reptile lover and dragons are sometimes seen as the king of reptiles. when i think of what dragons look like i see the chinese version, long snake like body, no wings but it is constantly flying. personaly i do belive they still exist but refuse to be seen by humans, and why should they show themselves? humans in general are stupid dull minded beings, even if someone did happen to catch a glimps at one they probobly wouldnt know what they are seeing
I haven't had the time to do the research myself, but i want to, i want to know which culture viewed the dragon as evil and good and what time period it originated and how many times it changed. I think it would be interesting to see if there was a wave effect, like some one going along a trade route or something spreading word of these fossil findings or maybe just some good story that got blown out of proportion. maybe even if it was always there just changed as people passed it on from generation to generation as stories generally do. I would love to know if any one has already researched this or has any thoughts as far as my idea.
They are real I even read the Celtic Dragon Tarot .
The author of them sent me a book with Dragon spells to communicate with the creatures.I have worked with the spells I did not see any dragons but the spells worked.
WOW I love Tarot cards. I need to get some of those. I hope they read the same as the Minor/Major Tarot cards.
Thanks for the info to get them!
Your very welcome I have read many types of tarot. I found these are the best.
I believe that dragons did exist and even still do exist. In the material world that is. I believe that they are living breathing creatures in flesh. Why else would we have a defined look at what a dragon may look like.
I believe in the spiritual dragon as well. The guide and teacher that helps with humans.
mythological figures........ but so are vampires... And we are all stil here !!!!
In another sense believe it or not, the Oriental society holds a family tradition that their ancestors came from dragons, this is based on hereditary traits as well... Depicting their facial features to be somewhat "serpent" like in depiction, I can see why they think that.
So, in that aspect... If the dragon still exists, it is called the evolutionary process within the Oriental society which could be the very reason why they respect the dragon and why the dragon is so prevailant within their society.
I do believe that the dragons still exist if not on this plane of existence then on another one. but for the most part I do believe that they are real.
There is a place although its basically geared for children is one that can help teach you a lot about the dragon and other types of myths.
Here is the site www.ologyworld.com
Like I said it is really geared for children but it does have a lot of good information within the web site.
Souls said it right with the post above me though. Its really not about whether or not we believe in them but the many traditions that hold the dragon with high respect.
There have been unidentifiable found in countries all around the world. Japan, China, England, Ireland, and even the Roman countryside for example. So in my opinion I do believe in them.
Me too. I had a friend die a few years back and she believed so heavily in the draconic spirits, that when we held a pagan ritual after her funeral service on the beach front, everyone was in awe at the cloud that appeared in the shape of a dragon.
RIP. Blv. Lady Loren Borlase.
Dragons, like nearly all other creatures have and in some cases still exist. The question of when, not where is usually the nail bitter.
Guess the best place to seek your own answer to this and many other questions lies within your own acceptances.
I have long had a fascination with dragons even long before I found out I was born in the year of the dragon and cannot specifically why. In a way maybe it's because they are an enigma similar to vampires with similar stories and legends all over the world yet little or no proof and still many believe.
One of my favorite dragons of lore is Tiamat. She had three heads and was said to be the mother of dragons.
just a bit more lore, if the blood of a dragon is spilled on the earth (soil), nothing will grow there for a hundred years.
Do Dragons exist? of course they do. be it in the mynds of believers, or hidden away in a cave in some far-away land, they have, do and always shall live.
what draws me to the Dragon most is the Majesty of the beast. i luv Dragons and i always will
dragons probably did exsit during the age of the dinosaurs
Dragons do still exist, in all of the planes physical, astral, celestial, all of them
i believe they existed in our world once seeing as every culture in this world has stories of them but if they were hunted i think they fled to a different plain of existence. i love chinese oriental dragons myself
Ha ha! I love dragons, I've loved them since I was a small child. Now personally, I believe that dragons are real... I've seen one... And only one. And I will remember that morning for the rest of my life, the dragon was small, dark bronze in color, and flying. Not even four feet long, it had a wingspan of about 5 feet.
I saw this dragon at about 7:30am on a August morning in 2005. He DISSAPPEARED once he got higher in the sky, and by dissappear I mean like teleporting. Poof. A little flash of bronze light and it was gone.
Nobody on this earth will ever tell me dragons do not exist. And to be honest, with all the odd things we beileve in, a dragon is not the most unlikely.
By the way, if you think I'm nuts, I'll grant you the possibility. I believe what I saw, but you don't have to believe it. But I'm willing to take anyone, anytime to the place I saw it.
I believe in dragons I just believe they do not want us to see them for fear we would use them for war.
The fact that EVERY society and culture, beyond modern society, has stories and legends about dragons, you can't really turn a blind eye. Now whether they all became extinct or went to a different plane of existence or what is up for debate.
One thing to debate though: if they existed or still do, why have we not found any remains? Honestly I think that they are immortal, or much like the phoenix. That way there are no remains left.
