This my pleasure to place this quest forth to you regarding the ghost seen through your own eyes.

I wish to know that how many people on the rave have seen a ghost or entity in human form and not orbs... because orbs may have many reasons, but a ghost seen is reason to believe in them.

I have directly seen ghosts or a soul, it was in pure white cloth in the day time nearly 8.30-9 am and continuously seen for 30 minutes to 50 minutes till it disappeared..this was daily for many times.

Please if you have such experience, then mention it. Because this is very important.

Persons having confusion do not mention it, just post the truely seen incidences. But remember this should not be illusion.

its not like im the kid in 6th sense or anything, but several times in my life ive seen ghosts.
now i dont know if these are souls, and i cant make that claim, but i have seen the forms of people in a place, where no one else could have been.

My mother has a ghost that has followed her for as long as I can remember. She calls him Fred. Fred literally does nothing at all, except during basketball season. The little turd will change the channel to ANY basketball game that is on at the time.

As for actually seeing ghosts and spirits, yes I can see them. Its a norm for me.

it's not something that happens everyday but I have seen spirits as well. I have since asked my god NOT to see them, because they can often give me nightmares and distract me during everyday events and such and have yet to see them since, but I can't say I miss them. Some people see only some types of spirits... but I do strongly believe you have to be religious in some way to see them.

People who don't believe don't ever see.

Yes. I see one ever nite. But hes my Grandpa so im not worried. But ther is a demonic entity that has followed me since i was six. I have tried to perform a clensing and even had a catholic minister perform one. It just went away for a few months then returned:(

Coz I have clearly seen one spirit in white cloth ad it was fair and came and sit along with me at distance of 2 feet...

I could not speak to it coz only that spirit and me was only in the room... none else that time... I could not think of communicating it that time but letter I am trying to follow it by my senses and conscious.

I can feel spirits, but I cannot actually see or hear them

i've never really believed in ghost in such as something u can see and interact with, just spirits then are present around u that u cant see but can kind of sense.
that was until this one night i was with my ex waiting for a bus by a school that has had rumors of being haunted. i was sitting there talking to her while she was standing infront off me, i look to the side and something catches my eye, it looked like a female figure all in white standing besides a tree, i jumped and looked again but there was nothing to be seen, it freaked me out because i can never be sure if i was seeing things or if it was real.

my neibor waved goodby to me three months after she died.ive seen a ghost spitfire and a ghost heinkel bomber.and two ghost cats.both very cute.

One day I was talking to someone on the phone and I swear a man appeared on my couch, with a brown bottle in his hand
watching television.
I described the person to whom which I was speaking to and she said yes, that is my ex-husband.
She continued to say that is all he did was watch television, and drink.

I used to see them when i was younger. I've had some rather freaky experiences, once when i was about 8 i was outside looking though the living room window and this lady was playing the piano, she had lovely long black hair and was an amazing musician, after a while i went inside and she was gone! So i asked my gran who the lady was...she had no idea what i was talking about, then i described the lady and my gran sat down in shock and said That was your mother! I had no idea my mother ever had long hair or played the piano.

I seen them on a personal note and also because I am a paranormal investigator.

Yeah I have seen a lot. Have sence I was 4. So yeah. But only most resently have I seen a demonic spirit. Well a summoned spirit in the wronge ways. But I believe they are everywhere. Some wants to be known and some wants to be left alone.

I see people pretending to be able to see ghosts and souls more often then I see ghosts and souls.

I've only seen 3 so far, but one I cant honestly give a claim to it because of the circumstances. This is when my uncle had died and I swear he was standing right next to me as I was doing my hair. I was looking in the mirror reached down to pick something up and when i looked up there he was, looking exactly the way he had before he died. Side by side with me and it scared the hell out of me. My mom later said he was probably just telling me he was safe wherever he was.

The very first time I saw a ghost was when I was younger. I was at my grandma's house and she was introducing me to a butt load of people. (dont remember half of them) A woman approached me she seemed to float out of the crowd, i think thats what made me take an interest in her. She didnt introduce herself she just held out a hand to me. My grandma pulled me away which at the time I thought was strange. Later when I asked her who it was (I had seen a picture of her on the dresser) my grandma told me i couldnt have seen that woman because she was dead.
I hadnt seen anything like that till a year later after my uncle died, then almost 8 years past before I saw another. And that would be the last time.
This is when I lived out in the country ... in a creepy house...I seen a little girl in a white dress that looked like a 50's dress. I thought I was crazy, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. But I seen her multiple times. Always in the same vicinity. But a friend who lived down the street from me asked one day "you see her too?" I asked what she was talking about and she described the little girl to me exactly as I saw her. We were the only 2 people that could see her.

i have had personal experiences where i seen spirits on a few ocassions particularly when i was younger

I've only seen ghosts in dreams. I've seen those "shadow people" but i realize those were vampires so that's about it for me as far as entities go.

When i was in college I had a ghost of a young woman become attached to me for about 3mos. She appeared as a shadow. At that time in my life I was practicing black magic and I think that may have been part of what drew her to me. A few of my friends could see her too so I know it was not an illusion or hallucination. She would travel with me every where I went day or night. She communicated with me from time to time as the mood suited her.

I have seen for as long as i can remember. I used to have a Ghost that stayed in my room and would continue to get closer to my bed every night. Eventually one night I woke up and it was sitting next to me. I stared at it until it disappeared. Didn't see it after that. I'm pretty sure it left all together cause I didn't feel like I was being watched anymore.

I believe I have seen ghosts and spirits. Once in a while I watch my nephew looking at his grandfather, and he died 8 years ago. My nephew is now 3 months old. So it is good to know our families are out there somewhere.

I do quite a bit of ghost hunting with my paranormal research group. You are right about orbs having many different meanings. Mainly dust particles on the lens, and it is hard to tell a true orb from dust on some occasions. As far as evidence goes, I have pictures from the old Tuberculosis Sanatorium here in Booneville, Arkansas (the only cool place in the whole town) of anomalies. It is evident in one photo taken from the west wing looking east towards a window on the 4th floor, that there is someone standing in front of the window, but you can only see the top half of them.

The house I live in now I bought in 2004. It was for sale by owner. The people I bought it from, bought it at an auction because the old man that used to live here passed away. They fixed the place up and then all of a sudden bought a different home and this house sat for over a year before I stumbled on it. It is on highway 10 and in the country so no close neighbors. But the closest neighbor down the road said the old man died the day before he and the old man were putting the last board in for the bridge that is on one side of my pond. He never said if the guy died in the house.

Well, my garage doors are closed at night when I go to sleep. When I wake up, they are open. One time when I was in the shower getting ready for work at about 9:30pm I had put a cd in and turned it up loud so I could hear it while in the shower. The cd itself had 14 songs on it and when it finishes it will automatically go to the next cd. Well after about the 5th song, there was silence. I turned the water off and got a towel, went out into the front room and it was on 100.00 fm radio. nothing but static. Didnt think anything of it just a little creepy until 2 nights later I was watching tv with my boys (my stereo, tv, and everything is hooked together) and at around 10pm it just went to 100.00 fm radio. My boys were like mom turn it back. I told them I didn't do it. I checked the remote to the stereo because I thought maybe the alarm was set but it wasn't. And if it was, it would have been going off every night at the same time. Happened only twice since I have been here.

I have went out to the shed before where my washer and dryer are and when I was coming back into the house through the back door, I could hear someone inside whistling. I was the only one here.

My boys had came back from their dads early one morning and I got up to let them in, they went to their rooms and went to bed. I walked across the house to my room and lied back down. I heard someone in the kitchen and then walking through the house, through the living room and right up to my door. I was expecting one of my boys to open my door for something. No one ever did. I got up. No one was there. I checked on my boys and they were asleep.

Lot of little things like that go on here in this house.

i don't see ghosts but I sense them, which is a continuing issue with me. Is it a ghost I sense or am I just imagining things.

I've had experiences with the supernatural all my life. I saw my first ghost in human form when i was 7. I saw a man in a blue shirt walk through my yard and disappear 3 feet in front of me.

i have seen ghosts that look almost like real people, and u never forget something like that

I have seen something on three occasions. All three occasions, another person also saw the same things I saw. One a separate occasion, a ghost touched me, brushing my hair out of my face, but I did not see it. That was more scary than seeing them.

The first time was in the living room of my mom's old house. I saw a woman in a fluttery white dress of some sort walk by. I was talking to a friend on webcam and I saw her walking by me in my webcam. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me, but my friend Michael that I was talking to said, who was that? I asked him what do you mean? He said, the woman in the dress, who was that? I told him, OMG You saw it too?? crazy stuff.

The second occasion was in an abandoned house in camden, nj. Myself and a friend were in there getting high. We started to leave and I went in the bathroom, and she followed behind me and we both started screaming. There was a dead girl with her arm and leg hanging out of the tub. we ran outta there. She saw her.. I effing SAW her! We called the police, (which my friend didn't wanna do, so i sent her the hell on), and I told them.. Look. I'm gonna tell it to you like this.. I'm remaining anonymous, but a friend of mine and I had been getting high in one of the abando's and we saw a dead girl who must've OD'd laying in the bathtub.

Well, the police went there and said there was no body there. Just a bunch of clothes. I was like, look, I saw this girl. My friend saw her too. We BOTH screamed at the exact same time. But they said their was no one there. I was shocked.

The final time I saw one, I was laying in bed with my ex, Jason, and it was pretty dark out. We were gettin ready to fall asleep when we saw this black "figure" float across the ceiling. I had to get up to turn the light on because HE.. the "MAN" was too ScARED to do it himself lol. But we both saw something that night.

I have seen alot of weird things that I cannot explain even though I would like to be able to.I even had a lost dog talk..like a human to me in a dream when I was on the other side of the planet.He told me where he was and I called the next day to the person who had been taking care of him while i was gone.I told him where the dog said it was.80 miles south and following my instructions,he found the dog exactly where it said it was.I have also heard things that where right in front of me...footsteps and nothing was there to see.Im not sure whether I would call them ghosts in the traditional sense,but I do believe that during those times,my mind was accessing/entrained into the Akashic record.

When I was about 6 at the end of my bed there was always an old woman, when i told my parents, thinking they could see this lady they thought it was an imaginary friend and once in bed i felt a hand on my feet it pulled sharply and let go. After than I never saw the woman at the end of my bed.

Have I seen an apparition? No! Though I have felt the presence and been witness to the actions of two.
My earliest encounter was actually while watching Bram Stokers Dracula late evening November 2nd 1997 on television in my room. I was in bed and while watching the film I heard a tone of voice that was my father’s in the upper right corner mention Boo! I looked briefly in the general direction where the voice came from then went back to continuing watching the movie. A short time after the phone rang. It was late and I answered the call and it was a nurse calling to inform me my father who had been ill and in intensive care for some time had just passed. After a few days had passed I loaded the vhs copy I had of the film and forwarded it to the scene where I heard the noise to see if it was reordered in the movie, there was no evidence of it in the recording. Whither or not it was my father’s voice or a poor recorded television movie at the time, I believe the later.

My subsequent account is a result of my passion; that being photography and photographing old homes that have become ghosts to landscapes themselves. I had been en route to a ranching job for family and pulled in to the yard of an old domicile I thought to photograph. I looked around sensing the homes character, its dampness, its musky scent and dilapidated state, to come to idea at how I would go about photographing the home. There was a stairwell leading upstairs, it was narrow and step making the case seem never-ending. The sun was near to setting and was low shinning brilliantly through the window that was at the staircases’ end, making a beautiful silhouette of the stairwell, which I planned to photograph because of such fact. I have shivers this very moment at sharing this, much the same as I had that very day because what to happen subsequently. I began photographing the living area of the home. The walls were adorned by faded and torn wallpaper, and where plaster had once been were now punctures, revealing slats that resembled an internal skeletal structure of the house, like the homes rib cage. I made certain to photograph closely the wall paper, the torn shapes of it and its seemingly faded elderly print. As I approached the stairwell to make my way upstairs I came to a hesitated stop, I couldn’t progress any further, and that I did not. As I remained there dormant, not wanting to further my way I felt the sensation of a cold draft pass through me. Upon it leaving I had begun to hear what sounded like paper tearing. The hairs over my entirety are on end right now! I looked about the home and noticed immediately that the wallpaper I had just photographed was peeled further from the walls. That moment I felt unwanted in the home and took my way to the door. As I walked through the doorway upon the stoop was a ground squirrel, or what appeared to be similar however yet different in appearance. It was not startled at my presence, seemed to not even notice I was there. I passed by it and took a few photographs as it was so friendly close. I had a various few frames on film prior to this occurrence and then as well after. Upon developing the film all the prior then after photos including the squirrel/gopher what have you were developed fine. However all the photographs I took within (again the goose bumps) the temperament of a home had not? The photographs’ as with negatives of 9 or so frames purely did not and were entirely black.
Have I been witness to ghosts in form, or as orbs? No! Though do I believe there’s something in addition awaiting for us after death? Yes! Yes, I certainly do.

I have had a few experiences with "ghosts".

I was working the night shift (11pm to 7am) in a local nursing home in the Denver Colorado area.
Well I was sitting at the desk one night by myself charting when I looked up and saw an old lady standing at the desk. I asked her if she needed anything but she never spoke.
All of a sudden one of my co-workers was coming down the hall and she just vanished.
I asked my co-worker if he had seen an old woman standing in front of the desk and he said there was no one there.

We would have doors opening and lights come on in rooms that were not occupied.

My husband walked in the front door and turned around and walked out again saying the place didn't feel right.

I only worked there a month because my personality was changing for the worse. I was angry and upset all the time.

I have noticed that many of the encounters have occured during the night.I have had some things happen in broad daylight and with others around and witnessing..anyone else experience this?

yes i have had a conversation with one, thought he was a fellow reanactor , come to find out he was one of the first killed during that battle of the civil war in va

Yes, two out of the three of my encounters were in broad daylight. When my friend and I saw the body of the dead girl in the bathtub it was a hot, sunny summer day.

The occasion with the older woman in the white fluttery dress was also during the day, and not only that.. approximately where she was standing there was a huge bay window behind her.. light shining in and all.

The black figure on the ceiling while laying in bed happened around 11pm or so. And the ghost that touched me while I was recording EVP, (I didn't SEE that one), happened around 2:30 in the morning.

Forgot to mention.. you were talking about other people witnessing these daytime encounters as well, well every encounter I have had, I was not alone. Well, for three of them I wasn't alone, the one with the older woman I was technically "alone in my house" however, I had a friend that was watching me through my webcam and he saw it too. That's how I saw her. I saw her in my webcam and when I turned around, no one was there. My friend that I was talking to was like, who was that? And I was like, who? He said, The woman in your house? creeeepy stuff man!

The occasion with the black figure floating across the ceiling, my ex was with me and also saw it.

The occasion with the dead body, my friend also saw her. However, when the cops investigated the abandoned house, they said there was no one in there. Dead or alive.

The other occasion (I'm not sure I mentioned), when I was touched by some sort of spirit or entity, my husband was with me. We were recording EVP at about 2am. We would stand in front of headstones and read them. Then we would ask, ___, do you have anything you want to say? Give it a few mins and move on to the next.

Well, I came across a really old, very thin, broken, and faded headstone. I couldn't make out the writing, so I grabbed the tombstone by the top and moved it forward and as I was reading, I felt something brush the hair out of my face. I screamed, and yelled OMFG, Matthew, RUN! And we started running for the house. As we were running away, I took snapshots with my digital camera. Every picture I took had an orb in the air as if there was something chasing us out of there.

When we got inside I told my husband what happened: That something had swept the hair out of my face. At the time of my encounter with this entity, my husband was standing about 50 yards from me and last time I checked, he ain't inspector Gadget, so it wasn't him.

So we decided to listen to the tape. The first hit we got was on our way walking to the graveyard. (It's a very small family-oriented cemetery in a lightly wooded area with a dirt road.) Anyway, you could hear our feet crunching in the dirt road and us having a silly conversation about ghosts and stuff. This was actually only the third time we had done this. Anyway, we continued listening to the tape, the sound of crunching feet and then our conversation came to a silence. All you could hear was us walking for about 15 seconds or so and then all of a sudden we heard someone or something saying "Get the F_ _ _ outta here!!" We just stared at each other, while I jotted down where the counter was.

So we keep listening. We enter the graveyard. We hear some more words and phrases.. nothing too exciting.... One phrase we did hear that was pretty strange said, "OFF-MA-TOMB!" That was about as exciting as it got..

Until I got to the messed up headstone. We heard myself say, "It's really flat and old. I can't really make it out..." This was when I went to grab the headstone. Then we heard a really scary loud voice say.. "SOMEONE'S cOMING!" And about a second after, we heard my screaming and us running back. On the way running back,you could hear our footsteps running on the dirt road, the sound of my dig camera taking those couple pictures and a voice in the background. It was a faint voice, it was yelling and we couldn't make out what it was saying. All we know is that it was NOT happy.

Even though we didn't SEE anything, that was one of the scariest encounters I've ever had!

I bet!! That sounds pretty creepy.Personally,I think it is creepier if it happens in the daytime for some reason.
Do you feel these ghosts are a type of recording in a torsion field and we see them when our minds are at a certin frequency? Or do you feel they are as they are in life and meerly suck here?

I feel that they are stuck here... but by choice. I think they have unfinished business and won't rest until it is taken care of. For other's, I think they may have gotten lost along the way. And some of them are evil and want to haunt the earth. That's my opinion. What do you think?

I first saw a ghost with my own eyes when I was 7yrs old, it was an old man and he was looking out the window of a high story factory, he waved to me as I walked away and I waved back. The thing is, the building only had the front wall left it was being propped up by wooden support struts and there is no way a person of any description, age or agility could have been standing at that particular window.

I next saw a spirit when I was in my teens and have seen a few since. I am a clairvoyant medium and although I get to provide evidence from pictures within my mind and from spirit talking to me I only ever see a solid spirit person every so often like twice or three times a year.

Yeah, but clairvoyants are supposedly able to summon the dead and converse with them in some type of form. So, maybe you are just having normal encounters just like everyone else here. If you were clairvoyant, you would be able to help me if I asked you if my dead grandmother had any messages for me. By all means.. if I am wrong, PLEASE correct me, because I'd love to hear a message from my deceased Grandmother.

I almost even hate to give an opinion as to why they might be here Sexy,simply because Im really not sure.
But if I were to say anything,I guess I would say that I dont believe that we are able to finish any biz here once we die because that is what this life is for.Alot more to that thought but I will spare everyone for now.
Another line of thought might be the whole limbo thing,and perhaps it might be closer to home than we realize..but Im up in the air on that too.
And the last thing is the Akashic record.My thinking at this time there is that they are not concious at all but meerly a recording in that record that we get a glimps of from time to time.

but talking to the dead is different than seeing dead people its like there are levels of spiritual openness

Firstly clairvoyants do not summon the dead, they are channels like a telephone is a channel for voice communication.

I will not prove myself to you either, because i am not being manipulated like that, if your grandmother is in spirit and you'd like a message then go to a medium face to face and if your grandmother wishes to communicate then maybe you'll get the evidence you need to prove life after death.

Im pretty sure that those who summon the dead are called Necromancers.

I think those are people that worship the dead but I could be wrong. I mention in my profile one instance that I saw a ghost but I actually used to see them just about every day when I was younger. I still see them but not as much. When I was younger I used to see my great grandmother a lot after I took over her room when she died. Also saw a woman in a wedding dress drenched with water staring at me and I looked away (after I almost pissed myself) and looked back she was gone. Also had a couple instances of seeing a little boy holding a teddy bear the first of which he was standing in the median of a road and when I looked closer there was a cross like people put when they've lost a loved one in a car wreck, the other time I saw him was in the bathroom in my high school I was using the urinal and saw him run behind me in the reflection off of the silver piping. Those are the only detailed experiences I have but I have seen spirits in graveyards at night (used to go with friends just for fun) also in the woods and running across streets at night. Haven't seen detailed ones in a while but I still see spirits once every couple weeks.

Oceanne, Necromancers don't summon the dead they just reanimate them. (no souls, just empty corpses)

I grew up with spirits, ghost, demonic spirits, wtv ya want to called them. I'm the only whose been able to see them in the family. Its true there are good and bad ones. And a lot of them stay by choice.
I live with a few and they're really nice. They never harm us in any way so far.
But a few have come to mess, destroy.
I also saw my uncle a few times, who passed away years back. When I told my mom, she was shocked by the way i describe him since i never saw him buried or anything. She was glad when I told her he was happy. And wanted them to be happy as well.
I can also hear spirits speak, my family believe I have great gifts with the non-living.

ever since i turned 9 i've seen ghost and shadows. It varies for me i see entities that seem to be normal shadows but its a human shadow forming when i'm the only one in the room,and normally they're male. Other times i see what looks like a person the only difference they're pale as if the color has been washed out of their very being. and as soon i as i look in their direction to make out the details of their face it vanishes.

theyre are people who say they start seeing the dead after they witness a dead. and for some reason it make them see stuff.

Anyway, yes, Oceanne, you are right about Necromancers. clairvoyant's, to my knowledge, don't exactly see or raise the dead, they are able to get flashes/pictures/memories from a ghost and are able to pass it along to another person. To my knowledge, a Necromancer can see the dead and can raise the dead. Must be a really creepy thing to realize you're a Necromancer.

There's a 3-book mini-series about a Necromancer. It's actually pretty good; about a girl named chloe. The Summoning is the first book, followed by The Awakening. (I am reading the second book right now.) I don't know the name of the final book, but it's available.

I think what happens with a Claiavoient with these flashes and glimpses is that they access the Akasic record .If this all works the way I believe it does,we are all able to do that and many accidently get glimpses here and there.Some take it farther and practice accessing the record.

I have seen my grandfathers ghost he would walk back and forth on the second floor were all of our bedrooms were. He seemed to be watching over us. Ive seem many other souls including children,Ive heard them as well crying in the room they had died in.

I have seen many ghosts ,the first one I saw was the ghost of Puma ,the homeless person who lived in the building that became our bike club in N.Y. . I was going up stairs to do renovations to the second floor with a fellow member Snake when I saw a shadow form run into the bathroom, there where 2 ways to get out but both where within our vision so no one could get out snake went to one side and I to the other but when we got in the bathroom there was no one there and no window or exit ,another was my father who would appear in my house in N.Y. .One was a spirit that wandered Mount Olivet Cemetary where we use to hang out as kids, a lady that roamed the cemetary that seemed to be looking for a certain grave. Then in the house I live in now is the lady that lived here before use that died from cancer ,I would see her watching me some times over my sholder in the mirror. All never bothered me much except for Puma ,cause I thought some one had broke into the club house but after we figured who it was we where cool with him and he didn't bother us after that.

Yes i have and still do see spirits to this day, been called a "Seer" Ive been able to help others cope and live out their grief of lost loved ones. NO i do not seek fortune from it so please dont disrespect me.

I was on a train, about 50kms away at the moment my grandfather died. For some reason I looked to my left and could have sworn I saw him. I turned to my mother and said "Look poppy is over there" we then both looked at where I saw him but there was no one there.
Later that night we recieved a call that at around 4pm that afternoon my grandfather had died.
Around 4pm I was on that train....

I believe that perhaps some people are able to see something...who knows. The mind does like playing tricks as I am very aware!

I can only go on what I have seen which is nothing which I would class as being a ghost or a spirit in over thirty years of investigating.

I do see spirits or "ghosts". I've seen since i was a small child.

I do believe i have seen quite a few things , my fathers house is haunted / visited if you like it is very large very old, I have seen an old man and a child there aswell as a cat that appears in the kitchen and dissappears through the wall near the pantry door its not something which un nerves me or scares me , i was told when i was 3 years old that i would sit in my bed and talk to my deceased grandma and my father would hear me doing this and he sensed she was there.

Also my best friends old cottage was haunted i was asleep one night when i woke up to go get a drink and saw a guy stood near the door just staring he dissapeared after 2 or 3 minutes no explanation for it to have been something else beacuse the whole house was asleep .

I have seen too many to count since i was a kid.....now they have me on mental medication to surpress it.....for the most part it works but i see humans in old time clothing alot in the little town i stay in

I have lived with a abusive ghost a few years ago. The ghost was black. He killed one of my birds and threw things. I do not live in that apt. any more. The building had a violent past, which explains why the ghost was violent.

is this a challenge to people who haven't seen anything like this to see something? Is it a sly insult to people who don't believe in spirits? Did you word it like that to make it sound more exciting because of some importance?
Judging by your last lines, i'd say it's the last on the list.
Why is it important for you to hear people's stories?
Are you trying to decide for yourself if they're real?
Do you think there's a spiritual uprising?
Since you already have a story, complete with a time frame, maybe you're trying to decide if what you saw was real based on similarities in other people's stories?
i'm not trying to be rude, but it is curious why you'd find it important, and why you'd call it a quest

yes...i saw a human hand that reached for me from the darkness when i was a kid, and my grandmother saw it as well. it was not a trick, and no one else was in the house.

i also saw a little girl in my old house...it was at night and only for a second, but i very much know what i saw.

I have seen a few in my time. The one back in '86 I recall very vividly. . My greatgrandmother was very ill and on her final times among the living. I was at the family home which was built in 1920 by my greatgrandfather who passed in '73.
growing up there I have seen a man in a large black hat ( referrence Lincoln era ) starring at myself, but on this night I was awaken by the front porch swing, swinging. I go to check who is there and low and behold both greatgranparents where sitting together as they had on many nights before my greatgrandfather had passed. I was shoked at first , but realised both where back together. Guess you could say I was the first in the family to know of her passing.

I believe I have seen a negative entity. The street I used to live on was definitely haunted by something.

One night, a friend and I were driving down my street, and I saw what looked kind of like a large black doberman - only it was floating above the street instead of running across it. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure exactly what I saw - then my friend asked, "What the hell WAS that?!?"

I know that I have felt negative entities several times - mostly on that same street. We actually had some paranormal hunter friends of mine investigate - they suggested that I not practice any magick while living there. Didn't help that both my stepfather and his father died in the house we lived in at the time (my stepgrandfather, from what I had heard, was NOT a good person).

And there were violent murders in two of the four neighboring houses as well.

However, the most memorable "interaction" was not a seen entity. My brother, a friend, and I were at Pike Place Market one Saturday (this is a VERY busy place in Seattle, especially on a summer weekend, which this was). We were walking through the market, just browsing the shops, and all of a sudden I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and the air chilled drastically (this was a warm day, and Pike Place is open, so the weather affects the air in the halls). I turned and looked at my friend, he looked very pale and a bit scared. I then turned to my brother, who was on the other side of me, and he looked near panicked. I noticed at that time there were no open shops in the hall we were in, nor was anyone else present. This is NOT usual for Pike place on a Saturday - usually you have to fight through crowds. I looked again at my friend, and, without saying anything, the three of us got the hell out of that hallway. I have been back there several times, and have not experienced anything like that again. To this day (this was approx 12 years ago) I do not know if we were in a weird time loop/haunted area that, for some reason, was only open to us (I haven't found that particular hall way again in the several times I have been back, no where was there any halls without stores in them), or that particular area was just closed off because EVERYONE had the same experience in that hall, so they just shut it down, and since then, have actually walled it off.

I can't explain the exact feeling, I didn't sense any particular entity endangering us, just an incredibly strong feeling of "wrongness" that was shared by the people I was with at the time. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I know that Pike Place has a lot of history, but I never thought until that day that you could be entrapped in to history like that.

no i have not never seen a ghost or soul in my eyes but than again i dont know what to look for neither so if someone would kindy tell me what to look for than i will answer the question again

Honorable NamaahFelenora, Though I am not ghost hunter nor I am having paranormal qualities of identifying or identified such entities. But whatever I did experience will help you in your studies. My light blinks in toilet with sudden turn of my thoughts though I am normal person and not such extra ordinary. It may be due to low voltage bulb. One day it was blinking like breathe of person. I forced through my inner to that blink go away. Now breathing of light dies not occur but still sudden turn of my thoughts blink the bulb.

One day I was in my office and my wife went to my dad’s home 25 km away to take my kid (who was enjoying his vacation to his grandpa’s place) after shutting main switch of electricity off and gas valve and water valve off.

They would come late than I reach home at evening from my office. I saw the TV was on with cartoon network channel was on. It was surprising coz my wife does not see cartoon network at all and my kid was away from home from last 5 days. I asked my wife on phone that whether any one was watching cartoon network that day. She replied if am crazy coz she did not open TV that day due to she left in morning one hour later I left to office and cared each precaution that any valve should not remain open nor main switch.

Honorable Oceanne, my experience of bulb breathing and Yogini in white cloth was of day time. That’s why I was not frightened with the presence. And that Yogini appeared at the peak of my balance of mind exercise. This exercise I always do in thoughtless state and not with the mind force. Doing this exercise, my state is of kid which do not care and do not think at all and do blankly.

I am practical and science conscious person do not believe in nonsense which is not felt or experienced and also it is analyzed in context to mirage or illusion. Yet things forced me forcefully believing the Para-psychic things and led me to find its answer in the dark world.

Never have the opportunity to see a Ghost or a soul. But, who know abut later.

No, I don't believe we went back in time. I am just saying that I don't know what happened. Best guess along those lines is that we somehow entered the entities view ("when") of the Pike Place area, and the other shoppers did not.

I believe that there are different planes of existence, and the layers are very close together - somehow we crossed in to another one.

If anyone has a better explanation as to why a crowd would suddenly disappear, I am open to these ideas, as I haven't had a solid one myself.

A couple nights ago, a ghost made my roommate's cigarette unsmokable. Yep. Aside from ghosts doing stupid things, though, when I was a teenager I went with my then-boyfriend to go see a movie, as teenagers and their boyfriends are wont to do.

You know how some theaters have stairs on either side, leading up to the top row? This was one of those. During the movie, I spied with my little corner eye someone walking down the right side of this theater. Glancing over, I saw a young woman with short blond hair, t-shirt and jeans, walking down with her hand on the rail.

As soon as I looked over, she stopped, and her head whipped around to stare right back at me. It was kind of unsettling, not in the ghost way, but in the way that a stranger stares at you as if they know you, so I did that universal kind of body-shrug that says "Uh...I don't know you. Maybe you know someone behind me, but I don't know you," and prepared to look away.

Before I could, she disappeared from the bottom up, like someone had pulled a shutter at an angle from her feet to her head.

I just kind of gaped stupidly for a second, looked around to see if anybody else had seen what I had seen, (they hadn't), and continued watching the movie.
