i dont think i have seen this question posted so im gonna ask

when you are angered ,dose it affect you on how you practice magic , or dose anger affect you on a feeding,

if it dose how, and if you no it is gonna affect you do you still go ahead and do it noing somthing may happen.


me yes when i practice spells and i am mad i have to stop or i will put the wrong kind of energry into,

i have never feed while angrey so i dont no on that one

i think it has an affect on both. because of this anger you're using a lot of energy, which makes spell casting and feeding stronger.

I have to agree, I think that anger could affect both. It gives more energy to the spell that you are casting but it is negative energy so would the spell go wrong? I am not to sure about the feeding one, but I am pretty sure that it could affect that as well. Maybe in the amount that they take from the donor, I am not sure because I am not a feeder my self. sorry

it is true... if you are angry, you can make wrong things... I normally stop, too. I can't go on or I can harm someone...
and If I'm angry, and I need blood, I can harm someone too... or drink more than you need...

When I am angry i affects me in a lot of ways.

Firstly my magick and feeding habits are greatly affected.

Secondly, i tend to take my anger out on others.

Lastly, i tend to feel my inner demons trying to burst out and sometimes i let them out. That's not a nice site to behold.

Every emotion you have will affect your spells and you attitude towards it, along with the way you feed and the need you have to feed, emotions are a catalysis to amplifie or neutrolize it.

Both~ the amount of energy you put in to your practice has a great effect, whether it be positive or negative.

Your emotions will affect everything you do, both while doing magic or even feeding... how well you control those will be a benefit to you.

Being new at this, I also tend to agree. With doing spells, if anything is off by just a little, be it emotion, it can go worng. And come back at you ten fold.

anger can lead to you killing someone or puting a curse on someone so horrible that it does kill them in time and then it does come back to you ten fold or worse...

Your state of mind effects everything in all your doings.

I do not perform spells or feed when I am angry. I want all my energy to be used for what task I am performing.

I don't know about feeding, but doing magic while you're angry is never a good idea. Puts the wrong kind of energy out there.

when doing anykind of magicks i try to clear my mind and emotions. Not good to try magicks if anger is involved, unless the spell calls for it.But usually is a waste of energy.

I do not think anger affects anything, as long as a person has self control...

well anger is an emotion..and can help when doing magick it doesnt necesarilly have to be magick that is negative..

I would think the emotional imbalance coused by anger or anything else would have an adverse effect on magic/feeding.

i feel that anger has and affect on every thing, feeding and spells would be laced with anger could lead to only bad things

I don't perform any rituals or spells, so I don't know about anger from that aspect.

I do know that when I'm angry I just tend not to feed. I'm an empathic feeder, for the most part, and a lot of my feeding involves negative energy here at work - in this one instance, two negatives WON'T make a positive! When I'm angry, I'm not able to defuse the negative energy I'm gathering so my donor (customer) might end up angrier! Bad all around so I just let it be...

At work today a colleague was very angry ( not with me ) but, she vented right at me.

As I stood and listend I gave out possitive and was suddenly aware that I could either change her negative to possitive or dissipate her negative completly, not sure which one happened as yet.

I have never experienced this before. It has certainly given me something to think about.

Depending on the person who you are... you can take it to the dark side or the lighter side of magic. With my self I've found love and peacefulness in the lighter side .... It's all up to you where you want to take the magic to.

I think that anger effects everything that you do in life.

i beleve that it makes you feeding more vicious. but deping on what kind of magic you use could effect it differently. e.g. (if you were casting a healing spell with good intentions, but bad thoughts in your head, the deal would go sour. however goddess forbid, if you were doing a spell that was ment to harm, the 3 fold law would be doubled because your negative emotion is higher

I'd be wary of doing anything like that while angry. Powerful or not, it could cause a lot of negatives to come back your way.

I was thinking abotu just this issue earlier today. My job has been really stressful lately (busy season) and I find that when I am angry it is a very bad idea to attempt much magic. Partially this is because rage can cloud one's judgemetn, thus making people do things they might regret later. But also because if it is hard to focus, it is more difficult to do effective magic other than just flinging hate around.

That said, I am curious about people's thoughts on another angle of this. Mind you, I am not even technically an Underling *straightens slightly bent halo* so I am not supposed to be feeding on anything but ambient energies. *sweet smile* But What about feeding ON someone who IS angry? ANger generates alot of psychic overflow energies, no one would deny... But how does the "flavour" of the emotion effect the feeding?

Anger is an emotion , like any emotion why would there be a difference For ordinary magic? the comments im reading suggest if it was like riding a bike you cant do it too well angered lol
Personally I don’t believe it matters. As for the threefold on steroids as now im seeing it rise to 10 fold lol not even the three fold is taught by the originators of magic and wicca, it was from a student who didn’t listen to well and now used in my view to scare the "newbies" into submission.lol

As someone who hold a Third Degreee in Traditional Witchcraft (among other things) my thought on the threefold law is that if they've already earned my wrath 3 times over--It's on! *lol*

But yes, there is that bit of people trying to make sure others don't bust loose with the harmful magics by scaring the newbies into thinking eveything they do will come back to bite them. Or that they can't do magic on or for someone without that person's cancent.... Well.... That's not really true, in the capability realm anyway. Anyone can do as they please, just be prepared to be blocked or retaliated against if they catch you. *heh* (slightly sarcastic there, but true)

As for not doing magic while angry--same as not driving or operating heavy machinery...you might end up making a bad judgement call and then have to live with the consequences of your actions. But anger can sure fuel some serious ka-BOOM magically speaking.

listen i knew this girl once, she wanted this apartment really bad but, there was a widdowed man who lived there. so with *bad intentions* she asked the spirits to get him out of the room so she can have it. the spirits got him out alright...the next week he died, she didn't mean for him to die, but all she asked was that he was gone. magic doesn't fuck around. the spirit of the old mans wife was pissed that she killed him, so the law of three fold took effect. not only did she die, but in the weeks before that she was fired from her job as a doctor, her husband left her for a stripper, and she ended up bankrupt. It is extremly bad to do either with anger, Let just leave it at that.

yes anger effects me a great deal. I deal with it in different ways.. casting spells.. not gonna happen for two reasons. I do not want that kind of energy going into the spell.. and I honestally do not trust myself enough to cast when I am angry as I know its intent and not always what you say you want or mean.

Feeding.. well it tends to calm me down so yes I will feed when angry.. never on the one I am angry with of course. And I make it very very clear to the one feeding me I am angry so if they are offering blood.. they are the ones to draw it. And if its energy I warn them so they can guard against my not relizeing its effecting them badly.. that has never happened but I warn them to be safe for them.

Everything I have learned in Wicca says that you should not preform ritual or magic when angry or sick. The reason mentioned is that you neen to enter the circle in perfect love and trust . When we are compromised we can't accomplish this.

So after angered magic do you do lots of make up magic ? lol

Nothing wrong with a bit of self policing. Wicca is a great religion. I just got as far as I could and then went retro, I studied what wicca creators studied to make wicca. I then studied Alister Crowley, gardener, Dorothy you name it iv studied or been to lectures on it (secret chiefs in England). Personally I don’t have any problems with my chaos magic anger happy or sad … I just mix n splice the spells to get what works.

Anger can be a great "fuel to the fire" since spellcraft is all about building up the energy and releasing it. I do think though that using energy from an angry(negative) place is really very risky. Kind of like smoking while pumping gas. Nothing bad may happen, but when it does the results aren't pretty.

I don't know about the angry feeding part. And probably just because I've never seen it really done it just sounds really sexy.

when working with magick you should never do it out of anger for it will have a bad effect on it and will come back 3 times worse.

all emotions effect a spell or the energies used to envoke

okay, look at it like this pretend you are the spell and in order for you to work you need to drink water. but all you have is coffee. you could drink the coffee and you might still work but, because of the added stuff there will be side effects.

When I feed, yes anger does affect me like I think that anger would affect most people.... I do not do magic so I don't know how that would affect me but I'm sure it would be have a very negative affect. When I'm angry, I tend not to feed for the protection of others...

when i practice my magic i try not to be angry the wiccan rede prohibits us from harming anyone...granted there have been times when i thought if it was humanly possible theres a few i would turn into toads lol..i get better results from stay calm...angry just messes it up and it can come back to bite you in the butt.

i personally think anger and magick would be alot safer than to have anger when feeding

Anger and illness adversely affect all spellworking. The mental state of the worker will change the outcome as it prevents proper focus on the desired occurance. Spellworking must always be preceded by calming meditation and concentraion to be effective.

I think doing anything in anger will affect adversely.

Both, Personally when I get down right visceral in my emotional state, when all I crave is violence and death, Then I have the ability to let loose some destruction. At the same time, when I feed from something and I am that pissed off, then energetically speaking, I attempt to suck in their soul and all the body energy they have from what ever spot im feeding from, be it a psychic connection, or a blood connection. They are forfeit to my hunger to the edge of their consiousness.

But I try to avoid situations these past few years that have led me to such, Emotional outbursting.

I have been angered and used magic the results were far from what I desired. Since then I refuse to do any form of magickal workings while angry. I was young and stupid with no guide leave it at that. Now I only do things when absolutly needed

Anger affects everything in a negative way. I don't practice magic, but I have never been in the mood to feed when i am angry.

i feel that any emotion when concerning magick can be an added benefit be it good or bad now thats soley up to the practicioner that uses his/hers emotions when using magick

i think it depends on the kind of anger that is invaled in the magic, doing it ok of some kind of hate is not a good idea.

I do not feed but i do know that if i perform a ritual or try to cast a spell when you are angry it can go very wrong. You are not putting your full love and trust into your spell like you should be, well unless it's a negative spell but still anger can make your spell turn out very wrong and it can even hurt others.

Since I don't partake in any feeding of any blood related kind, and since I'm not into anything magic I don't know from first hand experience. BUT. I do believe that it could as anger effects everything, Your mood, your thoughts, your heart rate, even your energy. That's a very good question and I totally wish I could have commented on it better, but giving that I don't partake in any of them, I can't do better then I already have.

I do not think being angry has an affect on magick or feeding if you have self control, (But if you do not have self control, then i think only bad things can come from it)...

I feel that anger has a direct effect on everything you do. Whether it be magic, feeding, or just normal day-to-day activities. Many people tend to let the anger take over and that in turn has negative effects on everything.

I think it is generally bad idea to mix anger with feeding/magic. Unless the Magic you are doing calls for it.
Too many things can go wrong with that emotion involved.

I found that when I fed in anger I did not reap the same benifits as I did with a passion feed.

NEVER DO THINGS IN ANGER!

Well, there is bitter and violent anger and there is Righteous Anger.
Righteous means; morally justified
therefore, if your spouse runs off with someone else, you who have performed the magical marriage vow together are allowed to feel righteous anger.

In these cases the power of that anger can be channelled into your spellworking.
But be careful, if it justified and righteous? Or are you acting out of spite and bitterness?

Whatever you use your righteous anger for remember that you cannot interfer with anothers freewill!

I can tell you what can and will happen to those who mess with such things!

I agree that it affects both. anger is projected through your energy. when someone around me is angry, i can feel it in the air. so i presume that when feeding with anger, your donor will notice. it would be more of an uneasy thing for the person you are with i would think.

i know that when im feeling very romantic or sweet, my energy is more sensual, and electric. but when im angry most people dont like to be too close to me. but sometimes that anger increases the passion. so it really depends on how u look at it. but it does have an affect that i think alters between how u are feeling.

I know when I get angry and everything I project Negitive energy. and in doing so the Magic gets distorted at times...So when I am angry I try not to practice my Magic..

Any practicing I do in my beliefs I always look upon in a sense of seriousness, trust, and maturity. Its my personal form of spirituality and would not practice if I was angry because I have been taught by my peers and Elders that anger breeds negative energy. I do believe that emotions affect the outcome of actions.

emotions affect everything we do...we are emotional creatures....so yeah i think if you "cast a spell" with anger in your heart it would reflect that in the outcome of the spell
