ok there are animals that bite because they are sceared but ( maybe ) they are sceared...
there are animals that bite because they are vicious ( maybe )
some bite just because they do ( maybe )
_______ _______
my question is....can these be vampires in animal form..
*brings to thought the vampire pomeranian from blade 3*
Yes, vampiric spirits have been at least in theory to be able to take such forms. However I would ascribe at this point to the concept that the spirit of the vampire inhabiting a vessel of an animal(not human) would be more of a possessing demonic spirit that manifests itself in the host as a vampiric entity, As such the spirit possesses the creature, and possession has been observed an recorded in cases where they effect candles, stones, houses, people, a bottle of wine (yes there was a demonic infestation found in a case of possession in the late 1600s or early 1700s if memory serves), to animals, both domestic and livestock. So it becomes a matter of yes, its possible, is it common, I have no idea.
lol, I think that they bite when they are scared or don't know what else to do, I don't think that they are vampires in animal form.
There are several different reasons that animals nite...but from being a Vampire? Im not so sure about that.Except perhaps Vampire bats, squid and leeches and the like.
Bats although in the movie Dracula he could change into a wolf . But thats Hollywood
I am of the thought that animals that bite tend to do so out of protection for themselves. There are exceptions to the rule of course (for example, some animals may lightly nip at one another while they play), but to me, the only 'vampiric' animals are those that practice vampirism to stay alive. Leeches and mosquitoes are a good example of this. I am not 100% certain that vampire bats need to drink blood to survive.
Anyway - I don't buy for a second that animals biting for whatever reason are actually vampires in disguise. It could make a great fictional premise though... Sharks have been feared for 1000s of years by humans. Eric Everyman is the scientist that discovers their awful secret - they are actually vampires in disguise!!!
Tee hee hee. :)
Cinnamon.. answers to your reply
i am not baseing my question on fiction at all.. i mean noone sees past life vampires correct... and people talk about reincarnation and ect.. so thats why i asked to get peoples opinions.. and as for the reality part on which you said.. no body knows the truth on day one on how the first thing was created in our life... i mean anything is possible for what we dont know... so i feel all aspects on questions are free to speak.. all has different opinions which is kool but its the thought.... any liveing thing can be as is... we use our hands to pick things up and ect ect.. some use there hands to kill we hunt to kill animals to feed.. so with animals useing there claws and teeth to feed and so forth to me that is not different from us..... and far as vampires. some of you bite to drink, some use needles some cut... and as for the discise thing, yes it was to hide themselves.. so that theary is maybe they are hideing them selves now.. can be dog form ect ect..i mean how many past life vampires do we see today... you say that they would turn into a bat or crow or something.... ok why not a dog, cat, ect.
i do not think a vampire would have to turn into a animal to bite... but if they are hideing from life so noone knows of them from past history of vampire hunters and ect... they want to hide.. im sure you dont see vampires in everyday life....i dont know but to me anything is possible
Oh my lord.Reincarnating vampires into little fluffy animals.lol!Oh geeze.A vamp could use an animal form to hunt better with. Not all vamps can change though..only a few kinds can.
Animals bite cause its a warning for you to stay away. Not cause they want your blood.Unless its either..mosquito,or vampy-bat,leech,and other blood drinker animals..that must
drink blood to survive..not cause they are vampires.
animals bite for defence...cause they arent like people
they dont have thumbs..and have enough smarts to make guns and knives.lol.
in my mind no reasion is we can control who and what we bite
Vampires are a fusion of the corporeal and incorporeal... they must be compatible... otherwise Vlad Tepesh could just as easily have been a chicken!
Seems a tad far-fetched, but I suppose it could be possible.
Any and all animals, can and will bite. It's just instinct. Doesn't mean they are vampires.
There is an interesting question lurking unseen in this posting... how far does man (and ultimately vampyr) vary from the animal... is man the higher form of animal or is he a mutation or aberration from the animal?
Animals bite for the following reasons..
1.defense
2. Reprimand (either youngster or another adult)
3. To show dominance
4.To obtain dominance
5.Fear
6.Irritation
7.to kill in order to feed.
8.During breeding.
I have yet to see an animal exibit Vampire traits when biting..or at least what we feel to be Vampire traits.
It's true I've never seen a dog swanning around in a silk shirt and a cape... could it be that dog's bite because it is the only prehensile function they can utilise
I don't neccessarily believe in vampires. So my answer would be NO
My dog says I'm mental... but he's a lyin/ son of a bitch!
i ... am so confused by what you said
i had to read it over and over again
but yeah it seems like youre taking something fake and making it mixed with other things.
it may be possible but god thats so confusing.
Uzziel you crack me up.
OK, hmmmm I've seen dogs and cats both bite, but never latch on to continue sucking the blood afterwards, so I would say no.
If you seen an animl laping up blood..even though the animal is a plant eater or not knowen to eat meat or kill other
animals,is usually due to iron deficancy..and they are craveing protien...and fatty acids.most commonly animals with
young in there belly.
Well bats i think
There are Vampirebats, so there´s vampires
it may br possible but i have never seen evidence of it
i guess it could be possible i did a search and all icould comeup with was bats and squids...
i don't know but a bat was flying around my head a few days ago...... lol
yeh this was kind of a corny question... but it was just a question im not sitting here saying i believe in this or i am saying this is my belief lol its just a question and i wanted to hear others thoughts.. but there are some animals that bite and keep a good hold on you ... a hamster ... pit bull.... lol but to let you all know... this was just a forum topic question
in some cases it could be but most often it is just the animal instinct just as in humans
I guess a Leech or mosqueto could be considered a vampire as they take pleasure from drawing blood from others...
Possibly. See the vampire pomeranian on Blade: Trinity? ;)
Ohhh yeh that mean little pooche. I think he needs a cape.
Their are a few animals that take blood for nutrition purposes, so a animal reincarnated from a vampire could be possible, I do believe in reincarnation and i do believe that we can come back as animals or any other living thing...
I don't think they are vamps but they are just carnivorous by nature..... they don't do it for the blood they do it for the taste of meat... if they are hostel.... if they are scared that is all there is.....
No, I dont think they are vampires. Thats an interesting theory though. =D
No i truly believe vampires are not shapeshifters like hollywood would make you see them as. vampires are much like us now except for a few minor abnormalities. so they are not shapeshifters
There is no sensual aspect to these critters. Just savagery which is so non vampiric in its way.
There is nothing unusual with animals biting... It's a sign of aggression and is considered to be a natural reaction. The only species which could be thought of as a vampire is the "vampire bat" simply because it feeds on blood.
I tought it is a simple enough equation, a vampire needs to feed on blood & consequently needs to bite through the skin to suck blood through. Occam's razor, why overcomplicating it?
I believe they take form of a suductive female or male...
no, the whole thing of vampire is needing blood not just being bite happy.
I think the only form is in the bat form is the only one that is accepted by most of society. Other animals bite for protecting their young, themselfs from danger and other reasons like that. wolves are just part of another form of demon hood that has nothing to do with vampires at all.
if one is granted the gift of shapshifting it is possible yeap...but in our days is really rare...
Their are lots of animals that need blood and take blood from humans and other animals so i think that it is possible...
Depending on how much research you do and if you gather enough information you can decide...
I honestly think that they can't.....animals are animals and vampires are vampires...and humans are humans....
I have little hard to belive that. Vampires is vampires , animals are animals and human is human. Like the the post before this says
It seems funny that some people can believe that they need other peoples blood and energy to survive, but they can not believe that a animal could be a reincarnated vampire, i do not see why it could not be possible, i can not say for sure that a animal could be a reincarnated vampire i am just saying i have an open enough mind to think that certain things are possible...
Hmm, I doubt it.
It's an interesting thought but I don't believe so. I think that the only beings that can shift form are lycanthropes.
Ummmm..You yourself has stated that we have hands to pick up stuff etc etc.....and some uses it to kill.....
Therefore it is a choice......
Animals have teeth for the purpose of hunting and eating....and of course picking up prey and they bite ...well because they have to....to survive,to eat...blah blah....
As simple as that.....Biting never makes one a vampire.....
When an animal bites because it is scared it it just a protective mechanism.
No to the question....animals bite for a number of reasons some of which have been stated above. My animals bite to show affection also, my dog and cat do it all the time especially if I am not paying attention to them.....it's their way of saying hello...love me now!!!
wow i cant believe so many people thinks no.. but look at these other question out here.. but to each there own its kool and all it not all animals .... i mean reincarnation no one really knows the truth about anything you / i speak on here in the forums we dont know what goes on in a animals mind vampires mind werewolfs mind ect ect why do we have the interests we have or life style we live in was we not reincarnated as well ? vampire can be in anything i think
I dont think so either animals are another creatue and different from vampire and I doubt that this any way that they could be one in the same there.
No I don't believe that there are Vampires in animal form. Only scared animals trying to save themselves from something that frightens them.
It really all depends on the purpose of the bite. If the animal in question bites in defense of itself or another member of the pack/herd, then I would say that no, that animal is not a vampiric spirit in animal form. If the bite were simply for the purpose of drinking the blood, like the infamous "Lions of Savvo(Not sure on that spelling)" in Africa were the lions had licked the skin off of some of the victims to drink their blood and left the rest of the corpse untouched. If it was something like that, than yes of course I would say that that animal in question was a vampiric spirit in animal form.
Carpe Noctem
Only thing I heard about were bats but...I don't think so....well anything is possible ^.^
i think its from about the bats and human's teeth so i guess they created "vampire" in long time ago. so I guess its pretty cool but I wish vampire were existed so i could've become a vampire and live too long way to see the new worlds in years and enjoy to being young last forever
you are right
Infernalmage
But what kills me are those who dont believe
this seems a bit riduculus, and no i dont think vampires can shape shift.
Unless sickness is involved (rabies for instance) animals bite for two reasons, fear or hunger. Vampires bite for life and for pleasure.
some people belive in vampires beingin bat form and in some cases rat form as well.
I velive in the darren shan style vampires, ones who dnt bite unless they are in a fight and need to to protect themselvs. To get their blood they need to cut the person and drink, just so they can live, not to kill.
I guess it's possible. Mostly I would guess vampire bats (since it's in the name) and maybe some of the leeches and things that actually drink blood. Most animals bite because they are animals and they get scared, or mad. They are, after all, animals.
yes i know that animals bite for other reasons and all but reincarnation some animals may not be what they seem thank you for all your answers and opinions this is my post when i was panthra.. lol i mean i still am but i changed my name.. so come rate me :) lol
i think if any being shapeshifts it will have to be to a creature similiar in mass to what is already is, the concept that a human sized being can turn into a pat the size of a small pet is ludicris.
Biting behavior is associated with most mammals and non mammilians alike.
could there be another reason to bite besides being sceared.. what about the anomals that are not sceared that attack i know u guys are probally not vets, but this has to do with this topic
wow...
there is more to vampires then just biting.
my dog bites me...but he's not a vampire.
everything bites....doesent mean it's a vampire.
I deffinetely believe there can be vampiric spirits in animals and anything else living for that fact
