I usually go for right around the full moon, but it would probably work whenever.

Not knowing much about the subject....may I ask is there any one point of reference re time for magic or does it depend on what magic is being worked ?

Depends on what you are working. What are you trying to accomplish?

Days of the week as well as times of day can influence and enhance your magickal workings. Planetary alignment factors in as well. I'll see if I can hunt up a correspondence chart for you. As always though, I believe anyway, that focus and intent are your greatest strengths for any kind of spellwork.

At 5:00 A.M. that's when I get up in the morning during the week to get ready for work. I wish I can learn how to throw fire balls. That way when the next my boss says I gotta saturday. I can throw one at him.

If you are talking about spells, then the best time to do them would be around 3:00 o'clock in the morning, everything is usually calm around then, depending on where you live i guess...

There is this very old nazi bunker, jus hundred meters off my house. It is well secluded, with the help of the overgrown greens, that fall all over its main wall. It looks like a ancient noble fortress, with those greens on, and I feel extremly well in side its rich interior.

Most of the rooms are used by junkies and satanists, but I have discover a very old secret passage, by accidently, slipping on the toillet floor, and somehow the wall opend!!

It is a very dark cell, with old chains, used to tie up the british spye commandos. There is this very big slab, and I would swear that there are still stains of old spye blood on it, but I never done a chemical analization, so I dont know.

I go there to meditate and perform my spells, cuz it is very perfect and dark.

I swear it, manytimes, I hear the voices of the gruesomely tortured victims, howling behind my back, as I meditate, and try to concentrate on my spells.

Once I saw one!! And, and, it was all white!! I scarred the shit outt of me, and I ran!!

It is a perfect place, where I can drain all the black negative energy that I need for my uberspells.

My workings depend on the results of what I am casting for. Most of the time I try to do my major spellcastings around the Full Moon. Then there are others I do during the New Moon.

I believe the best times for workings is the time that feels right in your mind as you feel your energy when prepping.

I also think finding a place that feels "right" to you and your energy amplifies a working.

depends on the spell, your power is strongest at the full moon, and is weak during the new moon.

If I am doing work outside, I prefer late afternoon/dusk. The night has never increased my abilities; it merely hinders my vision.

i think it just depends of which spell u wish to perform...
the propper moon phase is one of the keys to suceed in spell casting..
like for example - waxing moon is for doing spells that would help u to gain something, waning moon helps u to get rid of things better and full moon is well..for most things i gues...

I practice by the 13 phases and cycles of the moon. The moon defiantly affects people. The power of the moon can lend energy to it all. As for what cycle to practice it depends what type of spell I want to do.

I personally do magic alot but I find it is better on days that I know that 'ancient' civilizations used as holidays such as the day of Osiris.

it depends on what form of magic you are a follower of. Cabbalistic magic has very special rules concerning the hours and the days according to what sort of spell you wish to cast, or what ritual you wish to perform.

I would say the time of day depends on the spell you are trying to work. Some work better at night while others work better at dawn.

From what I have seen and learned over the years different people use different times. Some use the moon while others do it around the time they were born and others have the ability to do it anytme they wish. As for me I am one of those that can do it at any time.

Anytime is a good time if you know that you have the means to pull it off successfully. A truly powerful person doesn't need a specific time of day to do a spell that will work.

In classes I took I was given a chart with times, lattitude and longitudes. I was also given a simple formula to tell you when was the best time for a spell to work best. Personally I use the moon. Waxing, New, Full, or Wanning to decide which and what spell to cast.

The best time to cast spells is at 3:00 am unless you are casting a certain type of spell that requires it to be cast at a certain time, but i have never personally seen a spell like that...

Depends on the kind of spell you're doing, and what religion you're working the magic through.
Some spells actually require sunlight, a full moon, etc.

look up "Magic - an occult primer" by David Conway. it has all the best times, days, etc for different types of rituals. it's mainly cabbalistic, but it is very useful.

The best time is different for everyone. Try many times and see what works best for you.

at midnight on a full moon night is what seems works for me just cause of the glow of the moon can help in the things im trying to do but with other people it could be better to do it at other times.

Everyone has that certain time of the day or night, when they feel the most energy. It is different for most, go with that time.

I am not sure as I don't practice magic, but yeah like most people I would have said midnight but I have been thinking about it and I think that any time of day would be alright. I mean as long as you feel good and are able to do magic then I guess it would work just as well any time of day.

From what I understand from magical writings, it's not so much the clock time of the working, as it is celestial events, such as a certain moon phase, or day in a season, or placement of certain stars. Also, this can vary wildly dependent upon the belief system said magic is drawn from.

I don’t do magik but a person I know says that she likes to do it depending what magic she is using and when the full, half, new moon…I guess ect... is because that is the time when she feels the most strongest energy giving off.

Waxing moons are better for strengthening things, as it goes towards a full moon, where as waning moon are better for banishing and dispelling.

i would say it depends on what your intent and timing. I think midnight is good time for magick but also if you want something that has to do with the moon and other stuff it depends on what the moon phases are. Me myself have done magick in the daytime and night. So i guess anytime really.

While there are many factors that will make for a better spell or casting it is generally when I feel at my most powerful that I will do magick. Usually it is during a full or a new moon, and when Mars is in a trine with the moon that I am at a fire element high. With water I am the exact opposite. Waxing or waning moon and when Venus conjuncts the Sun.
I have a weird magick pattern anyhow, same with abilities though and so it may be difficult to judge from me.

Whenever you feel like it's the appropriate time is the best time to work magick. Of course if you read some of the books, they tell you to figure out the moon phase/astrological timing etc before doing anything, but I've found that I usually miss the day I have set aside for one reason or another...so I've gotten to the point where if I feel the timing is right, I just do it.

The time of the fat night, when all the normies sleep, is the best time, for perfoming all kind of evil magic spells, beacuze normies go considerably weaker during their sleep(their whole energie goes down whereever it's stream is involved), and with that, they go considerably vulnerable to the intention of a spell caster, so they dream all kind of dreams, and ideas, and with that subconciously, their daylight activity is determined by those suggestions made in the dream, by all the intention wich the spell caster streamed trough them, bad or good.


Be carefull yo, cuz all kind of weird energies are passing trough your head during your sleep.

negative spells are to be cast at 3 am with no moon.. any other spells should be cast 3am with a full moon..

No I dont think so I should limit my powers by some mental hipnosis(this time that time, thats all a mindfuck, you gotta be free with your mind, in order to achive anything), I beleive you can cast anything, anytime, even during the middle day, by screaming Hey!

I don't cast pells in the traditional sense. I do work with energy. I try to convey energy and even use positive energy to a specific end. I don't thint that there is one time that is better than another but I can not be around distractions when I am trying to focus.

Well Gaius, if that means anything to you, energy is called "spells" today, only beacuse it is missunderstood as a thing it self.

i do stuff at night cause im more powerful then. beyond that it doesnt matter. i usually end up doing it between midnight and 3 or 4 am. i prefer to work during thunder storms or when ive recently had blood.

Iwould have to assume anytime would be goodas Magic is dependent on Your Focus and mental strength and How much Desire it is YOu have on the Subject Of which the Spell is being Cast.. Nightimes are usually more peaceful and a Moonlit night provides light even more so on a Fullmoon.. But asking me i would have to say preference
