Do Psychic Vampires really exist?

i believe so. when u walk into a party or somewhere and all of a sudden you just got no energy this could be one drawing off you.

I am a sang vampire, but I do believe in the existance of psy vampires as well. Energy can be used, transfered, and manipulated...psy vampires are better at it than most because they need that energy.

Scientific phenomena has occured through out the ages and man is only beginning to scratch the surface of understanding of how our body works...
Until then, we can only speculate on the wonders of ourselves, but with recent studies of body energy transfer(with special cameras) we can actually see the energy of different people and how it changes with various individuals. Therefore, I do believe.

since we radiate energy and it was scientificly shown and since it can be expell, it is logical to assum it can also be absorb.

Psy- vamp do exsist and there are ways to keep them from feeding off you. i've dealt with them before and im sure i'll deal with more in the future. course i feel sorry for the next one that trys to feed off me....they will get some serious psychic feed back from me.....oh wait i wont feel sorry.....and to you psy vamps on here, just cause i said this dont test it, you wont like the results.

Psi, or psychic vampyres do and have existed as a distinct subculture of the genre since at least the late Victorian era. There are those who steal psychic energy from others knowingly and unknowingly. Absolutely. Some people just plain need the energy boost, thus the result of feeding off others, often without their realizing it.

If you mean vampires who can tell fortunes....then yes, they have to make a living too and anyone who has been to a palm reader knows what a vampire they are.

Otherwise, some individuals carry these psi-characteristics without meaning to do so...Such as the depressed, sick, and or elderly. Very common occurences actually.

One may profess themselves to be ps-vampire, but I tend to discard this as an excuse to be something you wish you were. As there is no set proof of the psi-vamp, other than the fact that people tire easily around you. But this I am afraid is far from proof.

Though a good point was made above regarding depressed, sick, or dying people drawing energy from others, I'd also add drama queens onto that list. It seems to me that everyone's body has a tendency to draw energy from wherever it can if it's not producing as much energy as it needs to get to a point where it feels healthy. Obviously, some people have massive physical diseases that take tons of energy to overcome, but mental health stuff can take just as much energy to heal, if not more, due to the massive energy sinks created by the resulting "black holes" in the aura.

I think some peoples' bodies get used to having such massive amounts of power coming in that they can't live without it. The body gets addicted to the energy high, and then the person begins to draw energy a little more consciously.

I would think they do, just because they are vampire or not should not matter so much.. If the ability is there it is there...

Some persons just realize they are and develop it, some don't develop and most of the people don't realize it. I think that everyone has been a psy at one or another time.

I believe there are people that can take energy from other people but I woudl not call them vampires. There are witches that can draw energy from people. Also certain spirits can draw your energy from u.

in my personal oppinion anything is possible and it is true that many things in this world exist without our knowing so.i believe that they are out there and very much real

Not to offend any one but I am not so sure if I do believe in psy-vamps, or any kind of real vampire if we are speaking of the immortal ones, I mean people may follow a vampiric life style but I find it hard to believe that the vampires of hollywood could exist, any way about psy-vamps, I am just not sure if they exist but cryingmist said that energey can be expelled so it only makes since that something is out there to absorb it...so I don't know I am confused on the subject I guess.

I've often joked about being able to drain other people's energy from them...my friends just call it being "High Maintenance"...:D

It truly is possible for one to 'steal' energy from another. If you ever see wiccans all in a group, they ussually wear a pendant or some gem to 'ground' their energy and prtoect it from others. Some of these psy-vamps cant even control their ability. It could be as simple as bumping into someone and BAM.

Yes because I am one. I don't just go and steal energy though I take from thoughts who allow me to feed from them. I don't steal or take what is not given. Although with someone that is my enemy I tend to take what I need.

or like talking on the phone with someone who just exhausts you the more you let them?

its definitely possible that these individuals are benefiting by feeding on your energy. now the question is how to protect yourself.

Of course we exist. For those of us who can't find or prefer not to have a blood donor, that is the way we feed. :)

i know that feeling, to be exasted from speaking to a certain individual...ussually redheads. No relation im sure but still, do most of these people know what they are doing. I consider myself a theif of energy, but sometimes i do it without trying to.

They do exist. They get as much energy out of you as they can and It leaves you feeling weak and drained.

They do exist,it is the ones who don't know they are one that drain the most.A good Psi. vamp gives back as they take.Even at a party or concert or city.after you take energy,you give back excess ,Just my opinion and how I do it.

I would say yes . I can fel and change the flow of energy around me . I can even draw it in when I am low .

I have definitely felt a psy vamp drawing energy from me, I don't know if they are always aware that they are doing it though.

It depends on what you term psychic vamp. If you mean everyday people who tend t draw energy from others, then yes, they do exist, I have been around several people whom drew so much energy off of me that it was like having the life drained out of me.

I am absolutely surprised at the amount of "negative" discussion about psy-vamps... especially here! This is the one place that we can all be what we are, without prejudice...Just because we have the ability to drain energy, doesn't mean we all use it. We also have the capability to "send" energy when someone around us is in need... I have done so many time, sometimes at the risk of myself, but someone I cared about NEEDED it...

I'll be honest, I am fairly new at understanding the "how" of everything.. It is just something that I have always "done" and am now trying to understand more about controlling it and doing it at will. The closest thing I can think of to describe it is... Have you ever had a friend in distress and you wrap your arms around them to comfort them? Well, imagine wrapping a protective energy around them as well, almost as if you are "encasing" them in a loving, calming state... For the majority of my friends they are oblivious of what is occuring and there really is no resistance.. Unfortunately I tend to give until I am exhausted.. I am trying to learn to control more of what goes out and comes in..

I am a psy vamp and do feed off of emotions. I try to be very careful of it and use it very carefully. It is a need and one must be aware of how much energy you are drawing from someone.
