When I was a child, I encountered a demon which terrorized me until I banished it with the help of my father. It claimed to be Belial. Anyone else ever have an encounter with a demon?

Not sure...I vaguely remember feeling a malavolent presence sometimes as a child, but whatever it was went away. Strange - I can't recall much - maybe it was dealt with by members in my family? Who knows. I'm glad it's gone, though!

yes indeed my great grandfather "Haze" is a demon he came to me like he came to may grandmother and my great grandmother his wife he killed her like he's going to try to kill my mother but I wont let it happen he is attempting to rid this family of all the wemon who are able to bare children a family curse I like to think of it but something we have all believed once we've had a glimps of his horrid face. all the wemon in my family on my mothers side have bore 3 children one always being a boy but the boys in the family only bare two children one boy one girl all with the same mark on thire right leg.

I had a encounter of the Demonic kind not so long ago,what ever it was hounded me till I began to doubt my own sanity. Luckily with the help of a local Witch and the strength of my own free will we got rid of the wicked fiend.

Luckily, I've not had an encounter that I clearly remember. At least while I am awake. I have nightmares about demons on a regular basis.. which can definatly be disturbing - Belial being one of my 'regulars'. It used to really freak me out.. but now I deal with them with a kind of 'disregard'

yes demonic haunts date clear back.and alot of people never wanna admit to them being in there lives.... although they usually feed on young children or teenagers who have the most stress and negativity its not rare for them to attach themselves to adults too although its rare it can be very horrific to any family that has found themselves with one..... it dosent matter how many times you move they follow.... and if they do not believe in the religios excersim that most cathiolics perform they will stay with you for life... i know a family member who is possed by one and no matter what she has done to rid herself its still with her...... the demonic is anouther belief all on its own and many are stuck with them no matter what they do to be rid of them.......

Not that I know of....but then how would I know ?

not that i can remember but my mom's old apartment had a ghost that liked to be in the kitchen and throw stuff at us in the living room. kind of annoying.

I have never had an encounter with a demon. A friend of mine banishes demons and had an encounter do a banishing, during it the demon had taken her over and she had a hard time banishing the demon but was succesful

I thought I did several years ago....but it turned out to just be an idiot who thought they were better then they really were. Damn guy was a leach. Does that count as demonic? LMAO

There are some pretty weird videos of encounters going around the net. They're really scary.

I've had a few encounters with hostile entities, and I must say some of them were very frightening. I've had to do a few cleansings and banishments for loved ones because of them.

This is probably a dumb question but is it possible for one to follow you around? Or do they stay in one certain area?

A year ago I woke up in the middle of the night because i couldnt breath. It felt like there was a heavy weight on my chest and midsection that wouldnt get off. I do believe it was some form of spirit creature because directly infront of me i remember it being all blurry, like a cloud or something was there, but everywhere else i looked it was clear.

When my sister was a lot younger ( about 7 years old) she would do something bad and say it was the bad Laura. so maybe she was influenced or she was just being a little shit.

If you wake up feeling like something is in the room that's called sleep paralysis...if you can't move and feel like you're stuck completely and feel like you need to breathe but can't then it's paralysis. But if you can move then it's probably something else.

yes, i've encountered demons. it's just this very eery feeling sometimes, like you have someone over your shoulder who just will not let you go. it can be quite disconcerning.

I have been faced with a lot of problems with demons due to one of my special gifts...

Mostly I sense the presence of them...thy are never there to harm me though...

I try my best to rid them...but as they were sent for the reason they were there is nothing much I can do...

Your telling me that Belial himself contacted and supposedly terrorized you? Do you have a clue of which daemon Belial is? Of course I shouldn't say daemon, more like liutenant.

I've never had a demonic encounter, thank (insert your own high power name). But, someone, and forgive me for not remembering who, said that they usually target children and teenagers. Say you had a demon terrorize you as a child or teen. If they weren't dealt with, could they continue to 'contact' you throughout your lifetime?

Also, are there ways to tell if your being terrorized by a demon without it actually telling you who it is?

This may sound crazy. When I was about 11, I went to my fathers house. And I noticed that my grandmother was really upset. And my father told me she was attacked in her sleep.
I asked him by who? he said they don't know.

Later on my grandmother told me what happened. She said she woke up and when she opened her eyes, a woman with black eyes, long flowing black hair and what appeared to be a black wedding dress. was floating directly above her. She said she reached down and started scratching her and trying to strangle her. My grandmother said she fought with all her might. She said she took a deep breath and she was gone.

my father said he thinks it was a bad dream, but where did the scratches and red marks on her neck come from? Two weeks later my grandmother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer =(

I myself personally had any encounter with demons but a close friend has and she said it was not only scary as all get out but she had to leave her home.

im not sure but quite often i see shadows out of the corner of my eye...i could just b insane or imagining it but when i turn to see they are gone and lately im feeling stuff brush up against me and hearing voices..

I personally have not had a demonic attack on myself. But I have had to deal with something of the supernatural nature take out things on my child . I will nto post the whole story here because it would take me forever to type it all. But if anyone would like to know what had happened I would be glad to share my story.

i have never had anything like that happen to me. I had a friend once who had to have medium come to her house and banish a demon that was bothering her brother.

My father had. When he was young he used to be very curious about witchcraft (I've discovered a few very interesting old books he had) and demons and he called one..
Apparently he didn't do something right and "he" beat him up, seriously! My grandmother saw it.

My niece has a demon or something else evil bothering her. She becomes all freaky and even talks weird. The last time it happened she was swearing at me like crazy. She really looked possessed. She's a teenager and a fairly religious person as well. Her mom thinks its a demon trying to keep her from going to church. I don't know about that, but she was really acting freaky. It was actually very scary. I've never heard her screaming and swearing like that before.

'kay. First & formost, any "Demon" giving it's name would be lying. Name hold power & that's the last thing they would ever want you to have. Second....Very, very dangerous ground. I've been lucky enough to avoid them, but demonic hauntings are known to have happened.

In my teens I was tormented by a self-proclaimed Prince of Demons, known to me only as Damien.

How true that "Prince of Demons" thing is, I don't know, but it's how he introduced himself.

Around that same time, my (at the time) girlfriend claimed she was plagued by a she-demon known to her only as "Demonica, Princess of Hell."

My mom's friend told her of a time that he went across the street to visit his neighbor friend and he looked through the windows and saw a pair of black hands on his neck choking him and when he went inside..they disappeared. I don't know if that's demon related or not.
Something I don't understand is that most people feel that when something gives you their true name, it leaves them more powerless. So why a demon would come out and tell it's name seems like it's just giving itself up or it's got a huge ego.

I have encountered a demon death demon , Every time I do a like spell It seems to make the person die or maybe its not ment to be,
But after I do that and some one dies that I did on, the demon leaves me alone for a month or so,
I stopped doing spells forawhile because of that and can not get rid of this demon for anything ,

Quite a few years ago I did have what I think was a lower level demon visit me. I was only just beginning to understand the spiritual world and I feel it was a warning from my guides.

All I can say was that it was pitch black, had red slanted eyes and was strangely in shaped man-like but its limbs looked like lightening bolts.

I called for help and saw my bed surrounded in guides and warriors who joined hands. I felt instantly relaxed and went to sleep rather quickly. I only woke up once before dawn and saw my guardians still surrounding me and the creature trying to reach through but couldn't get to me.

It was a strange experience, and I know I wasn't dreaming as I had been reading and got up to go to the bathroom when it occurred. I only fell asleep after it happened.

I count myself lucky that I had the sense to ask for help.

Can anyone tell me what do Demons actually do in their own world ?

What do they get from any kind of interaction with humans ?

IDK if it was a demon, or the source, nor do I remember if I was awake or still asleep but I do remeber seeing and looking directly into it's eyes comming face to face with it. it scared me to death I didn't know what to make of it. then for some reason a few years ago fire manefested itself right infront of me it was phenomenal I was amazed and was compelled to find out what caused it to accure.

Every once is awhile when I am in my hunting stand in the woods, I get the feeling I am being watched and I get chills like something evil wants to hurt me. It might just be sightless imagination (it is black as pitch when I get out there in the woods) and probably is, but I cannot shake the feeling everytime I go out to this one stand near the water. Weird. I even tried to see if someone dies around the area, if there was any history of 'summoniing' activity or anything unusual, there is not according to locals and the newspaper. So dunno...lol.

In all seriousness, my life has been sorted with many different encounters. Due to my seemingly unhealthy interest in the....other worldly, I have seen and felt a lot.

The thing that disturbs me about your incident, is the simple fact that it told you who it was. In my experience, that fact is usually hidden unless it is forced to disclose it origin. Now, I am not saying that it did not happen; although, if it did, you might want to reconsider whatever it is you are dabbling in.

I did once while on a talking board i don't use them no more....the person I was useing it with had a demon inter into them or come out....not sure which one

In junior high my friends and I played with an Ouija board before a party one night. One of the spirits we contacted called themselves Aza and threated to kill anyone who tried to look up or authenticate the name. The planchette flew off the board after I asked what it was afraid of. It scared us pretty bad and several people claimed to feel ill the rest of the night. Needless to say the party did not go well or for too long after several guests claimed to see a dark figure sitting in a chair laughing at them only to disappear before they could approach it. Could have been the alcohol, but the person who lived in house had to move less than a month later due to a rat infestation. The home was only 5 years old and hasn't been lived in since.

Demonic hyappened to me when I became depressed and angry over many things. One day a Master rekki Healer was healing me. I seen the darkness blackness in my forehead, as my eyes were closed. My head just jerked. Later as i was told..being depressed and having as much anger as I had...a demon can attach to you. It can become stronger by preying on our weaknesses. I was rid of the darkness because i had been fighting light...trying to keep my enlightment. When the anger ceased, and the depression and I started to find enlightment within my life, it no longer had a stronghold and released itself.

No, I haven't heard of that Demon, but I've encountered some of my own.

im a ghost hunter on my free time so i have come face to ace with many some i will never want to face agen and some who did not bug me at all i been locked in place hit shoved and lifted with claw marks and bursh on my body there not to fun to miss with and i try to stay away from case with them in it!!

they are not the same but my job is that i gat a call some one says there house is ahunted or this place is haunted i go check it out and see if it real is haunted or not and if it is the best way to fix it

I was going to bed.. And I closed my eyes and out of nowhere came this beastly looking thing with twirled horns and he said gwar, and he was gone.. I cant explain it, but its always been with me, I can feel it at times..

one of the attacks....i have to say it was the worst....was legion....i was possesed....not something i'd want to relive but....for about six months i was plagued in this way.....a high priest had to come ...from what i remember and what i was told i almost died

A demon once held me on my bed it went dark, and i heard a strange sound as if i was going through demensiovns.. i cant explain it..i had claw marks on my leg from where it held me there..

yes...yes you are right....i think without good there would be no bad, and without bad there would be no good....kinda balances shit out...and that there are those who fight to keep it that way....those of us who are cursed.

i think im gifted in a way.. cursed in another.. its kinda creepy to have a demon following you around.. but im not afraid of it..not anymore.

in the magik i work...and in my belief we use both demons and angels, and guardians, we just have to try to stay strong enough not to get over taken....but at one point or another we do....but it only take one time to keeps us at our best

When i was young I was terrified of the Attic and I think that was because of the eyes I would see when i would try to sleep. I belive it was a demon, it only went away when me and my friend got on a wiccan kick and cast a protection spell. I haven't seen the eyes since.

I have had many run ins with what I would describe as demons, one so often I now call him Seth, not sure if the name has any meaning or not. I have often been told I am followed by six everywhere I go always observing my actions, but who really knows. I know I can usually feel Seth close by when he comes and hear him in the night walking the hall at times. Is he evil to say, yes he has a dark and chilling feel when he is close, but at the same time I can feel a sense of concern from him, as if he watches over me. I believe he is the one who once possessed a dear friend of mine, and that was a terrifying experience, what he said, the sound of his voice, it was overwhelming and those of us who witnessed it will never forget it. I had many other encounters over the years, but it would be a long post if I described them all.

I have and has scared me to death

I have a few times. The worst time was when a group of demons attacked my mom in the middle of the night. Was the first time mom saw how strong I was magically. I was able to get rid of them though it took most of the night and into the morning.

my ex was there when that one was holding me down.. he tried to grab me and pull me up and said that he couldnt even budge me.. and hes a strong guy..

a high priest, my roommates, a few from the coven....and two family members were there

mine happened while i was lying in bed in the middle of the night.. only had my ex there..
