Lov ei sa lot of different things, and I can't say that I really believe that you can love osmeone in an instant, its just trivialising the emotion. As Deity mentioned, I think lust at first site is more approprite.l.. btu we are all people, and I cannot deny the fact that I've heard many people (myself included) talk of a 'conneciton' with a stranger just by looking at them, although in my opinion, this isnt love at all.

I would agree with everyone else. It should be lust at first site. I have never known anyone to say "I love them for their personality" upon just seeing them. Usually it is a comment like they're hot or something along those lines. So in my eyes that would represent lust. hehehe

I believe in love at first sight, the first time I saw my wife I knew I loved her, I had seen her before in my dreams. We only actually met when I was 15 and she had just turned 18, we knew immediately we would be together. Now here it is almost 12 years later and we are still together and happier than ever.

Love at first sight is so cliche. Rarely does is happen (if ever). More often than not, all you feel is LUST. Love is something that developes between people over time, and with time it grows and blossoms into something beautiful *romantic sigh* As cheesy as that sounds lol

I don't believe at love at first sight. Of course, you might meet someone, think you like them, get to know who they really are, and THEN fall in love with them...but, at first sight, you're not really seeing the whole person, just their appearance. I think the whole concept of falling in love with someone you don't even know is stupid.

I mean, say you an attractive person and you just instantly think it's love at first sight...and then they come after you and plunge a knife through your throat and dispose of your corpse in the nearest dumpster after writing degrading obsceneties all over your dead body with a permanent marker. I think nowadays it's hard for people to tell the difference between love and lust. Espicially with alcohol and drugs thrown in the mix. You can the leave the bar with a one night stand thinking it's the love of your life only to wake the next moring thinking wtf!!? Don't look at me like that! When I met my husband many years ago, I just knew that we were supposed to be together. I don't know how or why I knew, I just did. I know it is hard for people to believe in love at first site, but it does happen. Also, I believe it has to do with the way your auras rub each other when you go for that hand shake. I can almost instantly tell you whether or not I am going to like someone by the way the approach me. My aura will cause my hair on the back of my neck stand if they are bad news. Some say it is a woman's intuition and others say it is a sixth sense and some say it is a gut feeling. What ever it is, it has kept me out of trouble and kept me on the right path.

No, I do not beleive in love at first sight. You cannot love someone just by the look of them. You have to get to know them. There is lust at first sight, but not love. You can lust after someone just by looks. You cannot love someone just by looks.

Love at first sight .... maybe at one point and time I thought it was but really when you think about it 99.9% of time it's truthfully LUST at first sight .. most of the time you see someone the first time something stirs in you that you find you are attracted to .. or you wouldn't strike up a conversation with that person or answer back if they attempt to address you .. how anyone can call that LOVE at first sight is beyond me .. how can you love someone that you know absolutly know nothing about ... guess that peoples ideas of what LOVE truly is are all very different ...

I would have to go with Lust at first sight, its more enjoyable. Anymore for me Love is a waste of time you find someone that you think is the speical someone only to have your heart torn out and get screwed over in the process why bother.
