Is it ethical to rate your own profile? Will anyone find out?

the way i see it if you can't rate yourself how can you have others do it, its like respect, you first half to have respect for yurself before others can

i rate my own profile, i put myself on my friend list, on my favorite journal lislt, i stalk myself...

I don't see the problem with rating yourself as long as you don't look at it as rating yourself. Judge it as you would others.

I don't.. I let every one else in here rate it for me... It is a matter of respect. If a person thinks something could be added to your profile they would tell you in the comment box.. Isn't that what its for?

Yeah I do.. I think mine was the 1st profile I rated.. then I worked up to the others.. and now and then I go back to mine.. and rate it according to what Ive included or exculded

Now that I'm aware you can... I'm tempted to go do it. Should I?...Maybe I shouldn't. If I did I'd probably just give myself a 10 for greed purposes. I probably wouldn't be very fair. I'll pretend like I still don't know it's possible. ^_^

well, you judge yourself and your own character everyday(maybe less). so it would only make sense that you would rate your own profile. in person, you judge others. online you judge their profiles. It works the same when its yourself.

I gave myself a 7 cuz i didn't like my profile so much. and don't worry your darkness I gaves you tens all over :) so yeah... I say you can rate yourself its not un ethical we all have chosen to rate ourself as soon as we wake up and look at the mirror. :)

I rated myself. I think its alright to rate youself... I only did it once tho.. I am not a repeat rate myself offender.. In order to rate others you should cratique (sp) yourself.

Its down to personal choice if u rate yourself. I aint done it myself and dnt think i will.

Well, when I have work to do which I dont want to do, I often go on the internet to put it off a bit, so i leave myself big ratings saying "TIDY YOUR ROOM ITS A MESS" on my profile, to try and keep my scatttered mind on task.

I rated myself, but the comment I left was a thank you for all those who view my profile, some poeple like to read the comments others left for the person, so even if it is bumped it doesn't matter. A person can see that you have rated yourself but not what you rated yourself.

I think if you rate yourself it's show that your conceded, it's cocky. I myself didn't rate myself. What is the point. To show that you respect yourself, you can do that by keeping your virginity. As I have done, and am doing.

Well in my own I am the best to me, so of coarse i am going to rate myself at the highest level. I like to give myself an ego once in a while.
