well since you are all stating your fav vampire t.v. shows, I thought it would be cool to know what your fav movie was. Mine is toss up between Bramstoker's Dracula and Interview with the Vampire. I know there are a lot out there to choose from but I am sure you all will manage. So again look forward to hearing about them
i know that i'm going to be dating myself by saying this, but my favs are "the lost boys" and "the hunger"
batt those are both very good movies as well. I love Kiefer Sutherland
favourite vampire movie...hmmmm
any movie with vampires is cool...
but i really like Blade
It's really hard to decide...There have been more and more released in the past decade. Some of them are really cool while most of them kinda suck. I will have to give this topic more thought and get back to you....
underworld was very well done. I can't wait for the second one
I really liked Bram Stoker's Dracula and Interview With A Vampire. Then I would have to say The Lost Boys and Blade I&II. I have'nt seen Blade Trinity yet but I heard it was really good. The League Of Extraordinary Gentelmen was not a vampire flick but it still had a cool vampire in it, based on Dracula.
I was also wondering if anyone here has seen Near Dark & Vampire Journals they were not bad either.
Nikolius those are all very good flicks. Keep them coming people
Mine's probably Bram Stoker's Dracula. But seriously you can't get any better then the black and white movies those, are great!
that is very true. Bela Lugosi was the best Dracula in my books
yeah definitely either Bram Stokers Dracula or Underworld for me...With Interview with a Vampire coming in third.
the lost boys, bram stokers dracula, the breed, the forsaken, vampires kiss and club vampire
I'm a Lost Boys fan... and I really liked Near Dark too.
near dark was reallly good i havent seen that one in awhile.
I was all for Bram Stoker's til i saw The Dark Prince: The true story of Vlad. was amasing!
thebatt, I'm with you...the lost boys and the hunger............this one has been done before.
i would have to go with bram stoker but for me van healsing is close second and bram did give him life and even his name , awsome thread my love ~X~
thank you sweetie. and ladylovecat you have to remember that I am new here and didn't know that this one has already been done
If you are thinking about posting a new topic, it is always a good idea to try a search for it first. =)
thank you for the advice. I will have to remember to do that next time. Until then I am sorry that some of you have to repeat yourselves
No problem. It happens alot. The FAQ is a GREAT area to figure out whats what sometimes. =-)
I really like Queen of the damned and Interview with the Vampire
The Lost Boys. Still a classic, though the original b&w Dracula with Lugosi will always be one of the best.
I think I agree with freak on this. Interview with a vampire is my favorite, even though I really liked the b&w Dracula too.
and if you like anime, there is a short series named "song of a ram" which is awesome. amazing.
it's an underground very realistic & yet draging movie called ''blood thirsty''
Did anyone see it?
Nope. Never heard of it, but I really like those underground movies, though the acting is bad, I mean really bad, in most of them anyway. It feels more real then a hollywood production.
helsing is also a very good watch check out alucards guns ~X~
my favorite vampire movies are
1) *Lifeforce (1985)--space expedition brings back trouble to London
(* = Total Fave)
2) Vamp (1986)--Grace Jones vs. college students.
3) Once Bitten (1985)--Lauren Hutton comedy.
4) Fright Night (1985)--kid and Roddy McDowall vs. neighbor.
5) The Hunger (1983)--Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie, Susan Sarandon.
6) The Lost Boys (1987)-- A gang of teen vampires out for fun.
7) Innocent Blood (1992) Anne Parillaud (Wow! What eyes shes has in that movie.)
8) Sleepwalkers (1992) -- Stephen King and Egyptology.
The rest i just like... hell i like all vampire movies. these are just to name a few.
>:D
Interview with the vampire is the best ever! *seriously*
I saw Peewee's Big Adventure at a young age...that was nice Luckyone
Interview, Queen of the Damned, Blade(all3), Lost boys...
SaphyrEyes I must say you are the only other person, besides me, that I know of that has even heard of Sleepwalkers, let alone watched it. That was a very well done movie and it was creepy as hall. So far I see that Dracula, Interview with the Vampire and Lost Boys are the ones coming up a lot. I thank everybody so far for their input. I love to find out what people like to watch. Be sure to check out my new thread when you have the time
Lost boys or underworld were my 2 favs can't decide which one is better

SO in all reality sake ... let these NEW threads of OLD subject's take place Becuz there's ALWAYS gonna be NEW people join and us Admin's will always be here closing the worn out threads so GET USED TO IT :) thanks
The original Nosferatu (1922).
Oh. And the Hunger. Yummy. :)
salem's lot isn't that old.
Or maybe I saw a remake...
anyway, I didnt liked it at all
Favourite and las vampire movie I've seen , F.W. Murnau's 'Nosferatu' , 1922 ... though Bela Lugosi was a pretty good Dracula too :D Blah ! :)
I have too many-Lost Boys, Blade, Dracula: Dead and Loving It-great comedy! Fright Night, Blade, Love at First Bite, Underworld, Nosferatu----and too many others to list. I would be here all day! lol
mine is interview with the vampire and queen of the damned but name just a few
fright nite is awesome, lost boys and Bram strokers Dracula...
~~The lost boys~~ It was the first vampire movie that i thought was amazing back in the day lol. I love the movie Dawn Of The Dead but thats Zombies :)
the Craft is a very good movie. But it is not a vampire movie. Good taste in movies though you guys
That's a tough one!
I'd have to say either The Lost Boys, Underworld, or Queen of the Damned.
i believe either, interview with a vampire, underworld, and the queen of the damned are the greatest vampire movies
queen of the damned ...interview with the vampire.....the lost boys....underworld....can't wait til underworld:evolutions comes out.......YAY!!!
loved underworld i was quite upset when vicktor was killed ~X~
Vampire 2000 / god this hott japanez movie grr cant think of the name it was on showtime.../ Queen Of The Damned/ Vampire Hunter... umm yea their is more but those are on the top of my head
I have to go with The Lost Boys, which is one of my favorite movies in general.
I have to say Interview with the Vampire becouse of it´s lovely carctors and the intresting story.....
Fav vampire tv shows..... angel ......buffy....roswell isn't vampire but it's still awesome.
Queen of the Damned is my favorite. I love the soundtrack for it too.
Wow, no one I know has even heard of The Lost Boys, except me. That's my favorite. Though my friend and I really want to see The Hunger, Blood and Thirst, and Nosferatu. I've been mostly deprived of vampire movies
i think... Interview with the vampire is the most complete vampire movie because it explains everything that a vampire is... so does queen of the damned... but interview is more... elegant... so i like it the most...
SheDevil I thank you for telling me about your fav tv shows. But I must remind you that this about your fav vampire MOVIE!
yes,definatly b.s. dracula,the breed,underworld,modern vampires, j.c's vampires,house of frankenstein(1997)
My favorite vampire movie is The Breed (2001)...
It's about vampires who try to live in the future with humanity as a new kind of species...
It's not really all gore and guts, it's very visually appealing...but I still love it...it's got some vampire humor that's "cute"...
Favorite line from the movie..."Spare us the Anne Rice routine. We are not amused"...
Don't you just feel like saying that to some of us?! :::Snickers:::
wow it seems that we all have few things in common as far as i likes go...
It is hard to pick out a movie that I like the most...
Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Los Muertos, Underworld, Dracula (old movies and 2000, others are to cheesy)...so many to choose from, but if I had to choose one. It would be Interview with a Vampire.
1)Bram Stokers Dracula
2)Underworld
3)Interview with a Vampire
I know it says favourite movie(and not movies)but i couldn't decide between the 3 of them.
I know I said Dusk Till Dawn, but I just thought of a movie.
I'm not entirely certain what it was called, it was something like ... The Vampire Journals ... or the Journal of a Vampire or something like that, it finished like there should have been a sequal. It told the story of this one fellow who was forcibly made a vampire and how he chose to deal with it, I'm not really sure on the details anymore, but it was a bloody good movie, it came out somewhere between 1999 and 2001 some where there. Good movie, if I can ever remeber the name, I'll post it lol
Don't think I've ever seen a vamp movie I disliked.. but I'd have to say bram stoker's dracula as my fav
Although I love pretty much all vamp movies, I would have to say my favorite is a toss between Bram Stoker's or Queen of the Damnd. As far as Queen of the Damnd its not the sex apeal of Lestat that makes me like the movie its his attitude of not wanting to hide wanting to be known that turns me onto that movie.
Hmmmm...
1) Underworld
2)The Breed
3)Queen of the Damned
does Anime count? Because I really want to put vampire hunter d!
either queen of the damned, interview with the vampire, or underworld..
I m afraid that I don t have only one,I love a lot of them like The Bread,The Brotherhood,Los Dias de los muertos,Queen of the damned and Underworld but ok only one...?The Bread
for funny campiness in the groovy 70's style..2
Blacula and Kolchak the night stalker
I watched From Dusk Till Dawn for the first time last night, so I will go w/ that since I don't have a favorite.
I love them all to be honest... for different reasons...
The lost boys is simply...great... queen of the damned is sexy... interview with the vampire is so deep and dark... bram stoker's dracula (the version with keanu reeves) is romantic...
That's all for me...
MY FAV VAMP MOVIE WOULD HAVE TO BE INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE,QUEEN OF THE DAMNED,VAMPIRE HUNTER D,HELLSING,THE LOST BOYS,UNDERWORLD.HELL ALL OF THEM REALLY BUT MY FAV FAV ON OF ALL TIME IS BRAM STROKER'S DRACULA.....BAD ASS MOVIE
vampires kiss bram strokers and interveiw with a vampire
i like the forsaken, queen of the damned, dracula 3000, all the blade movies, and im not sure about anything else, ill try and think of sumthin else to put
my fav would have to be "Daughters of Darkness" by Harry Kumel. hmmm i wonder why.
nasferatu.. besides the classic for current would have to be queen of the damned..
I like everyones choices so far but here are mine:
1.)vampire effect it stars two of my favorite actors ekin cheng and anthony wong. Its asian comedy slash action vampire film. Hell it even has a cameo with jackie chan
2).Mr. vampire its another asian vampire film everytime I watch I cant stop laughing.
3.) Tsui harks vampire hunters its a vampire film set back in olden times of china the action in the movie is great.
I recomend these movies to anyone.
