I hope this forum will not be taken wrong.Ijust wanted to see if every one agrees with me.I dont kiss anyones ass.I don't seek his favor.I do however want to thank cancer for the hard work and all the blood and sweat he has put into vampires rave.i know it take much of his time and he puts up with alot of dum shit.i have met so many people like my self and i love the way every thing is set up.I think that it's pure genes the way you rate to move up the line so to speak.that insures that everyone get to know one another.I just wanted to know how many of you agree and your feelings on the matter.I have alway said it's good to give an ataboy were it's so richly deserved. thanks for your comments

I have always believed in giving credit where credit is due, and I think that cancer has far surpassed many of the "vampire" sites. Thanks for such a wonderful place to call home :) Also I wonder...does Cancer ever find time for himself?

Well, what can I say..Just that for the past 2 months, other web sites have been lacking my presence, because I really think the Vampire Rave is the best all in 1 web site I've ever been too. Information, serching, sharing, all in one place, that's commendable, to say the least. As for the Prince, he strikes me as a very intelligent man, but I bet he knows that. No average person would come up with an idea like this, and no average people could actually make it work.

I think many of you give me more credit than I deserve. I did not create Vampire Rave with any noble intention in mind...

Lillyrose was closest... I created Vampire Rave because it didn't exist. It's something I've done all my life. If I want something and it's not for sale, I create it. I'm a lot more than a programmer. I'm a welder, wood-worker, house-builder, machinist, artist, and more. Recently I've even started building my own car.

So, getting back to Vampire Rave... I started it because it didn't exist. I began planning it in 1999. I didn't actually start writing the site until 2004. I've got another half-dozen sites in the pipe that are just waiting their turn...

And I'm sure they are all worth waiting for!! Great job on Rave! Its like coming to your hometown "Cheers" bar, but online. Very homey. Love it!

I hope those new sites are just as good as this one

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This site is "goth crack." The level system is brilliant. And while there are lots of other similar sites out there which are cool, this feels like more of a community. I've only been here a short time, and I'm already starting to get to know some of the regulars. So thank you, Cancer. You rock.

On a somewhat related subject.....ass kissing was mentioned above, and cancer mentioned in another post how he hated when people agreed with him just for the sake of doing so. I can understand that, and it would piss me off too. So, for the record, these are my genuine opinons, and if one ever sees me agreeing with cancer in a post, it's because our opinons are similar, and not that I fear displeasing him, or want to kiss his ass. I'll be just as quick to debate if I see things differently. But the man does deserve some respect, so give it up for cancer.

alrighty..i just have ot say...(like everyone else) this site rocks and all hails it's creator(s).....that being said...i spent nearly five months with my account here, but unused...i was actually grounded from it (close-minded people suck)...anyway, in my absence, i did look for another site even close to this one...it doesnt exist. if i had money i would go premium because this site rocks and is very fulfilling.. it is so awesome to read stuff from everyone else and actually AGREE with them. this site is home to some of the nicest people. there is a definite sense of community here.

Wow of all the coments I have seen in here without been rude or harsh towards anyone but, you people make such fuss about someones work like he was greater than the most important soul in live and death. He is with out any doubt very talented and has been patineced one thing almost no human has, to wait so much and keep focus on what he wants and so making such place he wanted to actually be on but never found it, so havin some luck, talent and knowlegde he came up with the idea maybe with some help he created this fabulos place, but to treat a person as such level to make him greater than what you would think and believe is great is not human or inmortal. Plainly is not right. As said before he has done very well and he should hear from everyone that hes work actually came as he had hoped for.
