well, a friend of mine has had natural sharp teeth, looking like Vampfangs. Ineresting is the fact, that she said its more than natural having sharp teeth because it´s a baseform of our humanity: The ability of biting flesh out of a hunted and self killed animals.
so why did we just change our teeth appereance? damn i hate those companies and our lifelike that made our fangs become teeth...
I call my self lucky.
i too have sharp incisors, they arent very large like that of professional vampyre fangs but i love them just as much.
good point. lol. we were once monkeys and we lost our feet which look like hands.. evolution explains alot!
Natural Fangs!!! NOW, I can't think of a better way to open a can o Beer!!
Incredible..
We do have fangs, just like other features though they are more prominent on some people than others.
I have natural fangs as well, and I use them as a defense weapon...if I get into a scuffle of any sort, I bite, HARD...and leave scars...
And yes, using them to tear meat is another point that they are useful...it makes it so simple compared to people who have flat or dull canines...
I also use them for other things, but that shouldn't be explained... :)
my 12 year old has long 'vamp' teeth, lucky bugger, wish i did
Manyly our teeth changed do to the food we ate. We now eat almost completely cooked meats and veggies so over the generations they got "phased out". Just like at one time our pancreas was alot larger when we ate more plants.
i have naturally sharp and somewhat long insisors...theyre very helpful
vV----Vv
^------^
My dad and I both have fangs so it runs in the family:)
well I have fangs too I can feel em but I dont think they are unaturally long. Must look cool if your friend sharpened hers up
Mine are .. well average teeth if I must say, but I bite hard and leave scars as well.. I bit a friend of mine a few months ago (I do it often, He jokes on how he believes he has lost the ability to feel the pain of it, getting use to it) And a large round scar is there now.. I like comparing my bite from before and after I have braces.. big difference.. I can see right on his arm =D
if someone gets a wierd mutation that allows this fine but showing off is all they would be good for
I have also had thepleasure of sharper than average fangs...but I think the way are teeth are depending on your beliefs is based on our evolution towards eating habits if we eat more fruits and vegetables etc...are teeth have become more accustomed to the need for crushing and smashing rather than ripping and tearing...I kinda would say technology has negated the need to huntand kill manually so the need for fangs has deminished also.
When i was younger i had a set of natural fangs grow out over top of my inscisors. Breaking through the gums above them and growing down over them. These fangs grew for about a year and looked like a vampire fangs, even pushed my lips outwards a bit. People who seen this second set of teeth swore i was a vampire, however this only lasted a year until the first set of inscisors were pushed out by them then they fell back into place and wore down looking normal.
well, i have heard that when you are still in your mom's stomach that if she eats a lot of meat that you can have naturaly sharp 'fangs'.
I, am also lucky. I have sharp incisors... not as glamorous looking.. but they serve the purpose
I had fangs until my braces were removed and my mom had the dentist grind them down.About an 1/8 of an inch, but they are still sharp and fang like, just not as long.
Unfortunately I don't, however I wish I did. But as several pointed out, evolution. and I like to bite as well. I really want to get some, not the fake stuff out on the market though.
unfortunately mine were lost in an acident as a kid. . . bike.
but Dnash made some replacments. check out the portfolio
I have them - though nothing glamorous, and I don't do anything with them other then what people do with teeth ;P
My sister has them, but for her it's even more weird because when the actual canines grew they grew under the ones she had as a child and sort of push them in front. When she laughs she looks just like a vamp :-)
a lot of people have fangs most of the time you wont even notice it becouse people dont walk around with thier teeth bared my canines are the longest teeth i have and used to be very sharp but somehow i managed to wear them down a lot you can still nottice them sometimes
Yes when i had my teeth done they took out my incisors i was really pissed at that they made them all neat in a row i would love to know where to buy some vampire fangs that are of good guality. If anybody knows anywhere can you let me know.
I remember as a child my sister calling me ****** and her vampire teeth. LOL
like everybody has been saying........evolution. it came to a point where we didnt need fangs anymore because we got smarter and could use reason and our big brains to find diffrent ways to hunt.
Mine are sharp but worthless, lol. I have seen people with some really impressive fangs in the length department.
I have natural fangs as well, although I will admit that in the past I considered having them "fixed". It's a good thing I gave it a second thought, because I now absolutely love my fangs! :o) :o)
what sucks for me is i don't have sharp fangs, mine are dull, u can't even tell there cainines. I wish i could be as lucky as everyone else
I have natural fangs myself... not that i go around biting people though... they are just kind of good when you have problems with food (and according to my cook i often have troubles!).
I also have natural fangs...they where longer but they got chipped...
My wife has natural human fangs. One of the things that attracted me to her.
i dont have natural fangs. it really sucks. i want to go back in time and stop us evolving so we dont lose them. lol.
my 'fangs' aren't sharp enough to cut, or that long at all, but they still are good enough to bite and leave a mark while causing some pain
My three-year old has natural fangs, it will be interesting to see what happens when they fall out. I hope her permanent teeth are just as sharp.
erm..people have been noticing that my incisors have been growing a little.they are sharp and getting a tiny bit longer,Im well well past puberty..has anyone else experienced this? They do seem a bit longer to me after I checked them out in a mirror..no problems with my gums or teeth
that would cause this to happen
well, my mother and my grandfather are from transylvania... and my pop has real fangs they look so crazy. i had inherited one of them early, but when the other came through a bit high, it looked fruity so i had the long one filed... :(
and btw my teeth arent freaky as they may sound, im just dissappointed with the fruity one.
My mother and brother both have long sharp vamp teeth, my sister and I missed it. Hopefully my children will be blessed with them.
As it's been said before, evolution changed it to some degree but there are lucky ones out there who still have the sharp canines. I have one that is sort of sharp, the other one, sadly got left out.
I think it's not comapnies it's evolution, this has been lots of years.
Anyway am not surprised of this I got 6 cannings instead of four.
My sister has major "fang-age" its how she calls it.
I also know a couple of ppl who file their fangs down to conform to "normalicy"
a friend of mine as natural sharp teeth that do really look like vapire teeth, i would love to have teeth like that :)
I dont think i have 'vamp' teeth, but i can bite hard enuf to do sugnifficant damage
i would love to have longer real fangs but i call my k9s baby fangs and i hate it sooooo much. :_(
natural fangs would be cool to have but i was not blessed with slighly longer teeth
i to like others here have natural fangs at one point i did want to have dentist grind them down but i felt that i should keep them the way there are :)
Why did we lose them?
Lack of use I guess..... he modern human does not need to use them in our everyday life like our ancestors did.
I have natural fangs top and bottom. they are fairley sharp too. my youngest daughter has them too and they are very sharp
I have natural fangs also. They're very sharp and if you want proof, go ask my ex-boyfriend on how sharp they are. He'll show you the scars.
I treasure my fangs and I plan on having them sharpened one day.
I myself have sharp canines..they are small..could be longer but are sharp just enough...lets just say their longer than the rest of my teeth.
Mine are still sharp but not as long, due to dental stuff
Evolution has caused us to have flat teeth. WE no longer have to tear through raw flesh. Our teeth naturally evolved to grind instead of rip.
I feel lucky as well. I have naturally elongated canines. My bottom canines, which were also long were pulled out when I got braces, but i still have my upper ones. :)
i had natural fangs until my mom had the dentist grind them down when my permanent teeth came in when i was little.
grrr, i wish i had natural fangs, but no, i had to get the normal, boring teeth, meh its easiy fixed, oh the joys of the fakies :)
my canines are pointy, but alas the same length as the teeth beside them. someday if i can ever afford to have my teeth veneered, i'll consider getting the dentist to make em longer! tee hee hee...
Hence the term canine, like a dogs teeth, meant for gnashing and tearing at meat and flesh.
i have long incisors but i ont know if i woul call them fangs
your incisors are your front two teeth, that is called an overbite
I have a set of relativly sharp teeth above my other teeth, one on each side and...ive been called a vamp..if u wanna see...look in my pro for my messenger links..
I had fangs as a chid, well it was my adult teeth..my parents had them filed down.....they are just a little bit longer than my front teeth now.
Ive had many fights where people like to bite..my answer to that,is to knock the teeth out...you would only bite me once!
The only problem with natural human fangs, is when you bite yourself on the tounge or the cheeck....but then again a little blood usually flows.
I have normal teeth...i think....*Runs off to find a mirror*
lol i still bite my tongue and cheeks now...dam it hurts....
i have fake only becous i wiz ruff wene i wuz little and chiped my reall ones
All humans are blessed with canine teeth. However some have more prominent canines than others. Mine are longer than my other teeth and sharper but hardly noticeable.
i'm confused, what companies made us lose our sharp teeth?
humans are meant to eat both meat and veggies. the backteeth are meant for chewing at grassy foods... like a giraffies teath.
our front two teeth are longer and sharper. some more than others depending on the chemicals in your genes.
these teeth are there natuarally to cut meat and to rip it apart.
I had fangs as a kid, but they fell out and normal ones grew in, that sucks
See, if you wanna get really technical, it's our teeth that caused us to evolve the way we have. If not for our teeth then we'd still be tree ridden monkeys with teeth made for eating nothing but fruits from trees and the ocasional dead animal scavanged from somewere. See, when we got our teeth we have now, we adapted to eating meat and there for had to hunt. This brought about us walking on two legs up-right, for both hunting and evading predators. So really, our teeth have made us what we are thus far.
My friend is lucky enough to have natural fangs. He is rather proud of them. I wonder what percentage of people actually have natural fangs.
me and my twin sister have natural fangs. but it runs in the family. but eventually no one will have em
I have sharp canines which are longer than my other teeth but the longest natural fangs I have ever seen were my ex-girlfriend's ones. They are very long and extra sharp...
I also believe evolution has had a part in how our teeth are now. Look at wisdom teeth, most poeple don't have room for those and have to get them pulled or surgically removed. I think wisdom teeth are going to be one of hte next things to go in the evolutionary chain.
Here is some thing that no one else has brought up yet! If you talk to your dentist, they are able to put a natural looking cap over the canine teeth and then once it dries, grind the "fake" enamel to produce natural looking vampire fangs. Ask them, they can fix it for you. Also, the whole evolution thing is funny because if we came from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys? Any who if you take a pig and put it in the wild, its ofspring will be reverted to a boar type swine instead of a domestic swine(yes there is a difference) Do you think humans could get their offspring to get their teeth back?
Not with out help from a detist, but hey, that's just me.
i know that my canines are sharp as well four of them at least
I have them to but they can be a pain when you bit ur tongue
Mine were sharp and long, till my orthodontist shaved them down.
