I haven't been to a psychic but I did a tarot card reading on myself using a text book to decifer exactly what the cards meant. I was doing it scientifically, so to say. IT was so accurate. It told of the destruction of my relationship, my bipolar, and the relationship that I was to have in the future. When I did a reading for a friend of mine, it told of her miscarriage. Here's the rule of thumb that I use. One people don't tell me their question. Two they shuffle it. Three, I spread it and then tell them what the cards mean but I have the book next to me so people can double check on me if they want to. There are too many fake psychics out there but there are real ones too. You just have to look hard for them.

a lot of psychics do make it up. That is why I do not allow people who ask me for readings to tell me their question. I don't even want to know if I got it right. I never know for certain. I didn't state this in my first post but I believe that everyone is psychic to some degree. Not everyone is aware of it and uses it though.

I have been to tarot card readings and some things have come true. but not to an actual psychic. i want to but for now i use my own intuition hun. i dream in color at times and they tent to usually, actually a lot of the time come true.

All posseses psychic powers to a certain degree, that is a great and true statement, but still, when seing a psychic be aware. I had my hand read once at a karnival, the lady was a fraud and I know that for a fact because she told me I would not live to see 20 but I have.

Another thing about premonisions coming true depends on how much you belive in iyt. If you are foretold bad news and you focus on it, there is a good chance they will come true because you worry to much and forget to live.

My grandmother is a professional psychic, there are a few celebrities that call her (she won't tell me who unfortunately.) She's done a reading on me and been perfectly accurate. I won't give specifics since it was rather personal.

Yes, although I have only met one that I believe has the true gift. Be careful there are alot of fakes just trying to make a buck.

Once and only after discusiing it a long time with a friend of mine and yes this person was the real deal. Like Sevenn the person asked me to think my questions then went down them in a very uncanny order and they came true and no this person never asked for payment.

I have been to a fortune teller if you will. She was a tarot card reader. It was the most enlightening encounter! She told me things which went along with things that have happened in my life, and choices I had made. She was extremely accurate. There are fakes out there, but you can usually pick up on them shortly after they begin "reading" your fortune!

I read for people all the time and most of the time its more like trying to get them to talk but there have been a couple of times i have read for some people and been right on with ever thing i say and predicted some good stuff but mostly its just playing to person off themselvies

I have a psychic friend who actually called me up out of the blue to let me know the answer to something that had been bothering me for quite some time and he was bang on and there was no way for him to know that there was anything going on with me except through his abilities

But I went with a friend and the Psychic said that something awful would happen in the next week. And my friend was in a car accident 4 days later.

I believe everyone is psychic to varying degrees and it can be exercised and strengthened like a muscle.

There are a lot of charlatans out there out to make a lot of money from people it takes time to sort the weeds from the roses. So take care in throwing your money away to someone that is just going to give you quick answers.

I am a tarot reader myself. I don't charge people mostly do it for friends and family. But I am like Sevenn's reader, I don't ask what the sitter wants to know. I always tell the sitter to keep their questions to themselves and just let me see what the cards tell me. And find that I get more accurate readings that way.

I also don't predict deaths, lottery wins or anything like that, it is more just what you need to know in the present to help you with your life, both inner and outer,etc.

I personally have never dealt with any psychics, but I o believe that there are some truely gifted ones out there....

well I don't know about any one else here but so far I've had no luck with psychics, they always tell me things I already know or don't want to know about, so no I don't think they're real.

no, but I did a terrible thing once. I calld a self proclaimed psychic offering readings and when she asked for my name and when I would likto come in I asked her, " Shouldn't you know that already?" and hung up.

I have been to one several times to each visit the things she said came true perfectly..6 yrs ago she foretold of my marriage to a man i'd had never met and described him perfectly..I have been to her several times and will continue to believe in her visions if you will..She also saw my divorce coming before I ever did...

I find most to be charlatans, though I've done some decent readings, so there MUST be those that are tons better at it.

there are real ones out there just have to weed through the fakes first.

psychics to me dont actually predict the future but give u insight on how to direct it. if they sense doom then we need to change that path. if they sense fortune, that doesnt mean that we are going to get rich but we can guide ourselves toward it. its almost like help. but not truth.

I do believe there is a truth in the power of Psychcs. Why I say this is because there is existing evidence to back this up for example, the Police Force using psychics to help them find an offender. Speaking for myself also, I had predictions for the future come true that was delivered to me by a Psychic.

I've been to a psychic before and the predictions came true. I wound up finding five dollars in the trunk of a tree on my way home.

I have never had a psychic tell me a future event. I have had 20% of my horoscopes come to pass. I have had dreams of daJaVu. I am not able to say that a real psychic has been in my midst.

I have never been to one but i dont need one with my abilities.....Ever since i was little i could sense when things happened or had flashes of things to come......I still have the ability to this day but like when i was a small child i have no control over it..I dont know when i will get a flash or sense what is about...It just comes at the worse possable times or just in time to steer me out of danger at times

What I was told was incredibly vague in the same way that every horiscope in the news paper can touch on ones future while still not accurately predicting anything.

I would have to agree with jenova to that was well said... i think everyone had the abillity to see what comeing if tuned in to it and how to work with it! And I also agree with the fact that it can be changed if your path your on changes... theres so many posabilitys that can come and each thing we do has a affect on the out come!

I have had the good fortune of finding a wonderful psychic. This lady I know reads Tarot cards at Psychic Fairs. She did my cards and was extremely accurate! She was really on the money, and I would recommend her to anyone. There are people out there who truly have the gift, and those who "fudge" around, trying to make it sound like they know what they are doing. I am reasonably accurate with my Tarot readings, but it takes a lot of practice, and tons of energy! It is very physically and mentally draining.

I was bored one night and called one of those phone lines.. it was a free 3 min offer lol.. well the lady told me I would marry someone with a candy name.. I had not met the man that was gonna be my hubby.

At the time I was dateing a guy names Brock.. there is a Brache candy.. I thought that was who she ment.

I later married a Lindsey... and that happens to be the name of a small local ( well was local to me at the time) candy maker lol so she was right.. other than that if i am not reading my own cards or somehting I have had little experiences with them.

I have worked for a psychic promoter doing the gate for many years on odd weakends when they are doing shows near my city. There are several aspects to doing a reading.

a.) The psychic chutzpah - Most readers will get a little something at least about you, it all depends on how tired they are and how well they connect with you. I have had many readers tell me things that are bang on, freaky accurate... seeing me move to a small island and driving a small green sports car etc.

2.) the technical - palm reading is very technical, this means this and that means that... etc.

3.) The Cold reading - these are things that apply to everyone... my personal favorite "you like to go out with your friends once in a while and really let loose; but sometimes you just need to be left alone to think." Most readers will phrase their readings ina cold way... like hedging their bet.

4.) The Entertainment - SOme people ar eborn entertainers, they have a way of knowing what someone wants to hear, being funny, and have standardzed phrases and rituals they use repeatedly.

Your reading should hav all of these elements... I know some readers who are dead freaky with their accuracy but are not entertaining... they are not fun to go to at all. The technical aspect is a form of ritual that helps springboard the talent. Every reader has varying degrees of each of the aspects and it is up to you to find a style of psychic that you like.

no i have not my friend clames that it came true but i think she made it i went in and well it never did i did not try not to tle it or evem to make it come true it i guess was not ment to happen

I called a psychic before and got 2 in a row. The first was fake as all get out saying that she wanted me to write down 10 things I wanted most in my life and put in an envelope and place it in my freezer. Meanwhile, she'll be up in the mountains lighting a candle and praying for me. lol, I hung up on her. The next one I got, she was straight up and everything that she has predicted has come true. She predicted a 3rd pregnancy. I said that was impossible because the doctors said that I had to much damage to be able to concieve another child. She predicted some problems with the child and my daughter is disabled. She told me my husband wasn't going to be around long after the child's birth, he left me 3 months before her first birthday. She also sensed that I was psychic too. She had me describe to her what I was seeing at that precise moment and when I did, she told me that I was describing her home and yard to a T. So yes, I believe there are the kooks and then there are the true psychics. My life is better now because of some of them and myself. Blessings

There are people that can tell you things, but I would not go to a popular one, that just means they were schooled in how to interpet someone, not exactly how to read someone.

I have never been to one, nor do I believe in them. BUt lately my horoscope has been quite accurate, if that is anyhting the saem as predictions.

I went to see a medium, and he told me a bit about a family member who has passed away, i didn't think i'd like it but it was kinda comforting.

Some Psychics are frauds and feed of people that actually need help. Some of them will tell people anything to make a buck.

I have been to a psychic. She did not allow me to speak when I came in and I did not speak the entire time I was there. She did an excellent job. Got about 80% correct on my past...and not just the easy stuff...she knew my nickname. The future things for the most part came true too.

I have not gone to a psychic but I have had them come up to me. And they always say that I have a lot of psychic power. I know that but it's always nice to be seen by others like myself.

one of my friends is psychic and he is always telling me about things to watch for i have been close to being in an accedent quite a few times and he has been able to get me to go another dirrection. ihave seeen things before they happen or while they happen i was able to find and stop a good friends sister from being raped if that counts

I've talked to the phychics from time to time. For them to read the past and present is easy for them. They nailed it on dot every time, I keep asking myself how do they do it? Sometimes the future they reveal to me tends to be questionable. Because when they tell me the future in the result, the predictions tome isnt all that clear. I really isnt sure what to watch out for. All they tell me is something is gonna happen in a couple months. Something did happened. My latest grandpa passes away and months later I met a girl who I learned isnt my type, my relationship with her has been voided. Now in my latest prediction, she told me that in a couple years I will meet a girl whos is beeing present to me by someone I know. The Psychic reader didn't tell me in detail what she looks like. How will I know if she will be the right one for me then? I guess I can't, all I can do now is wait.

I pride my self on being scientific... so what I say here, I have a hard time backing up. I am more an empath than a psychic... Though I have been known to predict the true future. I do use tarot cards, and am quite fond of them.
The thing is, if you know the future you can change it. (A fate paradox.) You should always be careful of those who can see the future, because, atleast in my experiance, the vision lies

Everyone is psychic here and there but the extent and professional "sight" behind it is of the utmost questioning.

I could look at someone and throw out what will happen to them within 10 minutes of line of sight, but will it happen nobody truly knows it is sometimes just luck

A phychics are only allowed to tell the things that you can change if you like... As in love life, carrer, and childbirth. If you notice she never tell of how you die cuz you can not change that

oh yes!....at first i wasnt sure if the one i went to see was real or just pulling one over on me but after a while she started telling me things about myself that not only could no one else know....but that i had forgotton a long time ago.....she had to warm up i guess but then she told me very specific things that she also asked me not to tell anyone anything in detail but...times dates and events that so far each have come true.....spooky!...lol

I think everybody can be crazy. Nothing wrong with that. The real question is, is that person insane. Whats the difference? Well being crazy is something like doing something stupid. Now being insane is needing treatment from the Asylum. I will admit that I can be crazy but never insane.

Once when i was 16 when we went to Salem, Mass. The psychic told me that I would enter a relationship that would not be healthy for me in 3 years.

Well it came true.. He went to jail for unlawful imprisonment, assault and battery and harrassment in the 2nd degree and the attorney i had also added endangering the welfare of an unborn child...
I had not thought about what she said until my cousin who had gone with me had mentioned it to me when we were still going through the court battles.


THe second time was when i was 20, before my daughter was born, she had told me that I would be having a girl and she had mentioned that i would be having many diffculties with carrying but that things would be fine and she would be healthy.But to watch out for a man who wishes to cause me harm that i have known from before.

I have not been to a psychic - I believe most of them are fakes and not worth the money. People will do a lot of things out of desperation, and there are a lot of other people ready to take advantage of that.

I do readings, I also ask not to know the question, but I remind everyone that the cards do not decide the future, but give options...we all make our choices, and pick our paths.

I have some gifts that have been bang-on during life...from predicting death within a week, to death that same very night and being vivited by the newly dead one to say goodbye, to getting occasional messages from dead family members for myself or other family members...to (and I'm not proud of this one) wishing something bad on an ex-friend who then got in a near death car accident that week, or thinking of a friend and callin to be told they were just bout to call me, and so forth.

Yeah we all have it, but some lose or ignore it...I say that as kids we are all about as talented but growing up, conditioning lessens it. Unless you work on it, or are aware your whole life, it goes away a bit.

Well I have met both the genuine Psychics and the wanna be's. The wanna be just rambled on about the usual things people want to hear, love, finances, losing weight etc. As yet none of it has come to pass.

However the Genuine I met by coincidence and she had a message for me from my guides, to just start believing in my dreams and what I see during my meditations. That I was on the right track, to believe in who I am and stop telling myself that I just have an over active imagination.

So in my books the ones that go around charging high fees and telling you what you want to hear are the wanna be's that probably have a bit of psychic ability and think they can screw the public over and get rich.

I have been to a few and generaly they are accurate. Of course I never paid in cash, oterwise they would have been frauds. Anyway I think that everyone is to a degree.

well i consider myself to be intune with my intuition...i also like to interpret dreams and i am an avid dreamer...i can also read tarot cards and i used to use the book but the more i did it the more i memorized what the cards mean...but i will still use the book as a reference or for the other person to look at it and see if i am right....i also do not believe in charging for one's services..that is like breaking the law in my book.

Also, it should be mentioned that anyone who generally does readings over the counter for cash is in training. Spiritually speaking, these people are not fulfilled; otherwise they would have moved away from so crass a business.
People who have moved beyond the basic training phase of awareness find their psychic career banal and move to other things...

I know people who went with a very sceptical mind and came back a changed person. The psychic did tell them things that made a lot of sense. I've never gone to one. Perhaps one day I'll stop by at one.

My mom friend did. the phsycic told her her best friend's dad was going to die and when she asked which one she said my moms name. A couple days later my mom's dad ended up dying. I dont need to go to one, cuz I've had enough experiences of my own.

probably because they trigger the bad/negative vibes first, like ppl can tell when something is bugging you.
