Ok I've started believing in the Parallel worlds and stuff. The reason is because I think when we see, hear, or sense things it's because our world is colliding with the parallel world. because I know that when I see or hear something I do. I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks?

Also...Deja vu. I believe we have it because we've done the thing we're doing when we have deja vu in a past life.

I do not think that our world is colliding with any other world, I just think that there are portals or doors that link the spiritual world to this one.

i think that there a many coexisting side by side to each other and from time to time the bump in to each other which allows small glimpses from one to another.

That could be possible, it is a better theory that portals. I guess that after they have 'collided' that could cause remnants of that world to be left behind, and if we are speaking of the 'spirit world' then I guess that could mean lost spirits that wonder this world.

Some good theories...and they could well be things we've done in another life...but if doesnt explain the time frame or the places...in other lives it would be much earlier in time like 1805 or 1968 etc etc...instead of present day ones...but as for the parallel worlds...it sounds very interesting...but again you never know!

I theory which I truly believ in. Doors or gates to a world much like ours. circles that intertwine never to meet yet sometimes a line colides to form a gate. wether de ja vu or spirit planes. Yes i believe they do exist

That's a very interesting idea.. It puts an entirely new spin on the ghost theories too. It's something I'll have to think about considering I've never really thought much about parallel universe's, but it has a certain amount of sense to it. Very interesting :)

It strikes me that the big problem in imagining parallel worlds is the idea that it's almost exactly the same but with some minor difference because of a single change in history...like losing WWII or Lincoln not being shot...the idea would be much more easy to imagine if we acknowledge that it might make a less interesting story but a more realistic theory if these parallel dimensions were full of differences including differences that may be fundamental to life itself. Vastly different because such historical offroads could have occurred before man was even evolved or that the continued paths that change would lead us to a world completely different from our own...less like "Sliders" and more like an alien planet.

in some way there may be parallel worlds. i like to think that instead of random worlds in different parallels, that every dimension all sits on and uses the same universe, just in different time frames.we could all be occupieing the same space all at the same time, but if it's done just a little out of synce with each other we would never see the other parellels. if i occupied this space, so could you if you did it in a slight variation.lets say in universe ''A'' is where i live, you live in universe ''B''. we could both live in the same home and occupy the same space, living in the same room and using the same bathroom...but if we were slightly out of synce with the other we would never see the other person in our space. those times we see things and believe it paranormal may actually be the other person fluxing out of synce in there parallele universe momentarily.

i never got the impression they are this world with slight differences, but something completely different.. which is why if we do come in contact with one or more, it seems so otherworldly or alien to us

Thank you...in fact, it might very well explain things like the spirit world or elementals if such parallel universes were true...occupying the same space as earlier mentioned but so completely different from our own as to seem like demons or elementals or alien.

I had this interesting thought.
What if there was a super advanced species living in another dimension that perfected the art of creating Universes.
What if Thats how the big bang happened?? And what if at this moment more Big Bangs are taking place.
I mean.......I can picture it........
Some wierd thing-a-majig at the end of the universe cranking out new universes at a constant rate..........It's unbelievable....but I'm sure if we came down to what really goes on in the universe.....could we grasp any of it??

Yes there is a possibility of parallel worlds and I believe they exist . However where they could be the same in some there are differences in others .
Ex : You could be married with children in one and in another you took a different path and didn't have any . Or your Good in one and Evil in another. . There are many paths that could change your life that you took in those worlds that you didn't take in this one . I also believe that there are portals or doorways that can enter into the spirituality of our world .

what if its a time loop .... your life in different times, like past , future and present?

Back to the question~ this sounds a little too much like the movie 'Deja Vu'.

I have never seen the movie Deja Vu but I may check into it. It sounds like a real good movie.

I love paranormal activity. Or what paranormal activity would be if it was...abnormal. We live in the four standard dimensions, the fourth we are not very sensitive to. That's why some people can see ghosts and others simply can't, because they're not as intuned with the fourth dimension. As far as other worlds, I do believe in them. Blackholes don't seem to have as much significance as I think they should. Blackholes, in theory, are the portal to other universes. Some say wormholes, but I don't really see the difference. There's a whole bunch of things that could go on...like in time travel...maybe these universes are on their own time plane...and maybe they're in sync with our own.

Deju vu would be a prime example of this tear i the parallel loop. much like the show Milliniem and sliders, yet I do not believe totally on a different world but one of time either before or after. several shows even dating back to the 70's and 80's hit on this theory. The Final Countdown a good example, When the U.S went back in time before peaarl Harbor. Think of the possibilities. To right what went wrong in our life. yet some feel that if we accomplished this it would cause a ripple and effect that could end creation as we know it.

Very good thought. The fourth dimension does make very good sense.

I feel that it is more parallels of a persons mind, than of different worlds. We are creative creatures. If, even for a split seconds, you think that another choice may have worked in any situation you may see those possibilties.

Anything is possible, I just find it hard to believe that two worlds coexisting side by side and bumping into one another. But I do believe in the spirit realm.

I do believe in parallel existances. I agree with the portal idea with the spiritual world but I do agree that the parallel worlds cross over more than collide and therefore you get instances of deja vu.

I believe that if parallel worlds exist, then there must be millions of millions of millions of them.

I feel that (in my opinion) if they do exist there would have to be a string of parallel worlds for every person on the earth, and if that is indeed the case, then each person will have one parallel world for every important choice they make in their life.

I believe there is parallel realms to us. deja Vu to me is past lives, dreams and even premonitions that are warnings and making us more aware of things. I do not think that the worlds are bumping into one another, yet that they would be more likely to just be different to our own norm as it were, of course anything is very possible. just my opinion. It's a good possibility that they could coolide because what if what keeps the worlds apart loosens or get's slack in it? I mean then it's possible to bump into one another every now and then.

I believe totally in parallell worlds. We have mutiple dimensions so why not alternate realitties?

For every action there is 100's of other actions we could of taken and have just not in this reality world.

I do believe in parallel worlds, though I don't really think they collide. If they could it seems it would cause chaos.

the thing about the parallel world theory is not that there is one other parallel world - or even three or four - but an almost infinite number. so yes, there will be worlds where life never developed, or wolds where life stayed in the sea, or where the world is populated by three legged insects etc - but also worlds that are almost identical except for minor differences. every decision we make creates a new timeline. there is an alternative timeline which will be identical to this, with the only difference being that today you wore a green jumper instead of red, or something like that.

I have an open mind to almost anything, I would hate to miss something*grins* I don't have much knowledge on the parallel universe idea.I don't think there is a like or same universe that exists.But am a believer in the"string theory" concept.I believe it has been renamed and rethought.But bascially I believe there are other dimentions, just beyond our grasp.And perhaps meditation, prayer or whatever one uses ,breaks thru this shroud or barrier and lets us peak in, once in awhile.

one thing that puzzles me about string theory is that superstrings are supposed to exist on a level where energy and matter no longer have any meaning. so how can they vibrate?

I certainly agree about Deja vu being something repeated from a past life, or from a dream or premonition. A parallel universe is feasible also. It certainly is difficult to explain, but I do like some of the theories mentioned. It also possibly explains weird things that happen, and we can't explain them.

think of the world as a straight line. when ever someone makes a decision, like should i turn left or right. the world splits, one going left and the other right.

now think of this happening with everyone on the planet. the number of worlds are infinite and a knew one is created every second of the day.

now think of this happening on a universal level.

parallel worlds....that is a possibility although i can't really see it occuring but only in a way of being a slight opening such as a veil where spiritual contact is made possible.

If parallel worlds/universes exist, what if they are populated by beings other than human ?

What if Vampire/Dragons etc peopled other worlds before becoming human and coming here ?

That is a possibility. Which leads to the beginning of the vampire in this world. What if a vampire crossed from it's own world into our world..the human world...and that's how everything originate?

I know of parallel worlds, some are parallel to the exzact some are a few decades behind us some are ahead of us but they are still parallel because it's what's going to happen. so ya....I've been to them...though astral projection. The only thing is that sometimes they look different.

I also think maybe thats why when we hear our own thoughts inside our head accept more into detail that maybe the parallel world is the same as ours just experiencing things much quicker then our own world. Parallel worlds probably do exist...but I think once we gain more knowledge maybe we will get to know of them more. There is so much we don't know....humans like to act as if they know everything but in reality they know so little. Even though we know so much already we don't know all the answers. I always like to say with these things, why not? Why can't there be a parallel world? We can't prove it scientifically but science cannot prove everything.

I don't think something can always stay in a straight light. Sometime or another they have to turn and maybe one goes to turn but the other one doesn't know it and continues it's journey and that's how they bump or collide.

They do collide...they have to because my mom when she was younger had a job as a secretary and she went to sleep one night and had a very vivid dream of going into work and finding out that her boss had died. The next morning she woke up and went to work normally and everything was said and done exactly like in the dream. How do you explain that one?

People would say premonitions and visions. But I believe she actually went into the future and forsaw it before it happened.

any theory is a good theory, as long as we have an open mind and not just follow a idea thrown up to us because we were told to. as far as parallel worlds i do believe this theory has been thrown in before. I think it is a very strong and viable theory it could explain a lot of things like deja vie etc. I dont agree with the collide theory as just being close to another parrallel could make things happen which seems strange to us. but it is still a great theory

hisdarkestdream and i have sit on the phone and discussed this from dusk til dawn on many occasions. what if our dreams are actually a glimpse into the future or part of a past life? a little bit off the subject but reading a post about someones mother having a dream her boss died and it actually happened made me think a little bit. honestly it all gives me a headach but its just so interesting to think about. because i have actually had dreams about whats going to happen the next day.. for example... i had a dream that a relationship with someone i dearly loved would end tragically... and about 6 months later they way it ended blew me away because it was EXACTLY how i dreamed it... the weather the emotions i felt everything in the dream was the exact same. what if we are reliving a past life but in more modern times? its very interesting to think about...

That is pretty kool. I've done the same. Mind u it was minor. I dreamed that my brothers game was cancelled and the very next day my mom told me that it was. I was like...Wow. ok. That was weird. Other times I dream someone is gonna start talking to me and they do. So I think we do take steps into the future no matter how far or how close. And we open up to the parallel worlds. We see ourselves living the lives in those dreams.

i have deja vue, but it isn't things from a past life i don't think because i have dreams of exactly what is going on when it happens.

Also about the mirror thing. How do we know it's "our" reflection. What if it's us in a parallel world doing the exact same thing?

maybe there are paralel universes. if there are i would think the world of spirits and ghosts would be a such paralel world and maybe then there are just some sort of portals or something which this world hasn't fully discovered yet to interact with the other worlds
