I can hear quite clearly what is being said.. does anyone else hear it and believe they are spirits of the departed?

hey i did a recording at work when i came back the next morning their was sounds in the tape.

I have heard stuff on tape before...take a recorder to a cemetery and leave it over night and go back and get it....freaky stuff there....

I couldn't really hear anything. I must be deaf. Oh well. I do believe that u can catch hearings though.

oh my word... I do love EVP. It's really easy to record it yourself. Just don't ask "where are you" That's when it starts to get creepy. ^_^

I think it is a good website. I liked the recordings. I've never done any myself yet, but we have done a few video loop attempts. Haven't recorded them but you do get some interesting feed back.

I have heard a lot of evp's and some times they sound real but then their are the times that you can interpret them into any thing you want to hear, i believe that 70% of them are garbage and the other 30% could be real evp's...

It's a good site, but I'm undecided as to what it was I heard.

These things are easy to fake.

I have heard EVP myself.
I don't need any electronics.
Its all in the mind and being able to channel yourself.

I heard it and it sounds freaky to me. Not something I would want to experience up close and personal that is for sure.

They could all be real. With the audio tech we have these days, it's hard to say.

Just to post a counterpoint out there, not saying I disagree or anything but if you put a recorder in the middle of a cemetary and leave it over night, don't you think it is possibly picking up on the conversations of people who are visiting the cemetary? Just a point I wanted to put out there.

yes it is possible to pick up voices of passerbys but not all of these were done in cemetaries

I am fasinated by E.V.P. I would love to do some paranormal investigating of my own,with video and audio. There are a few places near me that are supposed to be haunted. One of them is the London Bridge. There has already been documented activity there, including E.V.P.

I have done EVPs myself, it can be scary and awesome at the same time because you never know what you're going to find on that tape when you play it back.

My friends and I do EVP's all the time and it is very interesting to play them back and hear from the other side.

my daughter hathor she is on the rave she has a ghost hunting group and they do evps all the time and i do believe you can pick up sounds of spirits especially ones that are earth bound can't crossover they just want help or to say hi lol but i do believe it is very real!!!

the computer im on is at work so i can not listen to the evp, though i will make it a point to check it out at home. I have opinions on this in general. i think that the electro magnetic whatever that is in the air can be picked up. i think if there are spirits that we will be able to tell from that. I do not think, however, that it will always be blatantly clear what is being said. sometimes when it is very clear, i tend to doubt it more. it makes me feel like whoever did the recording wants us to hear what he/she hears.

i find the best is to do like what was said above me. do ur own experiment. see what you can come up with.

i think that if a person dies in a tragic way there imprint can be left in that place. and yes they can be heard in the background noise of a tape.

I fully believe in EVPs. I receieved a call on my cell phone from a friend that had died just about two years ago. My phone was out of range and there was a lot of static, but I heard him. Every since then I don't doubt EVP in the least.

I believe in EVP's. I don't like it when I'm listening to one and someone tells me what I'm supposed to hear. That becomes the power of suggestion and I can't be sure if what I'm hearing is real or not. Now the ones that I've heard and I can hear something...those are very cool...and very rare. I don't think that EVP's happen as often as some would have us believe. I think that they are as rare an occurrence as full on apparitions.

I think they happen all the time, just not always captured.

It is very possiable to record voices from a cemetary or a house that has a hystory of hauntings, I have tape recordings myself of thing from cemetrary and houses I have lived in,.

i have quite a few evp's from over the past 4 years of doing them myself...it is to be expected that in most cases an evp may not be heard, but in about a third of the whole, there are those that can actually do come through.

I wasn't able to listen to it because I don't have realplayer on my comp yet. But I do believe in EVPs...so if I ever get to listen to it, I will.

EVP is just another outlet. before electronics it was random writings, this is just the first time that your average joe can hear it and record it....

I've done EVPs... It's easier to understand the 'voices' and the 'sounds' once you've done it a couple times.
The voices are quite accurate, but have you ever wondered....
Maybe you only hear it, because you want to hear it?
You only find something, because you are looking for it?

Who's to say these sites aren't tampering with the tapes for publicity? It's really hard for me to believe in EVP's because of the fact that any electronic device can pick up waves and sounds from other channels or electronics.

I hear them and there is a possibility that it can be the voices of the spirits.. I'll try what mystikalmoon15 said then if it happens I'll fully believe in Evp's

A lot of the evps from the website you gave out were good but i do not know what they did to thoes recordings if anything, im the type of person that need to do it themself, to be 100% possitve on them being real recordings...

i didn't hear alot on most of the evps from the site you listed originally, i did hear something on one, I have been to tons of other sites, and have heard many things, and if the source is reputable i do believe in them

i dont believe what i hear on a website but i have done a few recordings and have gotten some good results

I believe it BUT I don't play with those, It's not meant to deal with it. or unless you want to get possessed by a spirit when doing it alone..

I can hear them.... I can't fully make it out but I hear them.... I think EVP is just another way spirits have found to communicate to us....

evp's creep me out for some reason, i just think its crazy, but i definitly belive, i just dont like messing with something i dont know to much about, ya know, wicked hugs, blessed be, darla...

awesome..i have never been able to really catch any on tape..but yes i do believe you can catch them.I have heard others that other people have caught on tape..and yes you can definately it wasn't the wind or any of the other nonsense that people claim it is.

I did see on the maury show how these were made and very beleivable.. some of the stories that were mentioned were too real to be a coincidence

I am an investigator and I have caught many evps

ive been doing hunts and investigations for a very long time now. have done many many e.v.p. recordings... and will share them witht he whole of vr as soon as i find the right program to put them on here with :)

I made my own EVP test and man oh man scared shit less for 2 hours straight!! Did it in a supposed hauted theatr in Cottonwood AZ creeped me out never again!!

theatres are one of the best places to do an e.v.p. in. they hold some great stories as well as some very uneventfull things that have caused people to persih... when i first started doing them yes it scared me a little. but after doing them for so long it still gives me chills from time to time but am quite used to them now lol

i did listen to that and i think that its true, although i would like to be there and do one myself i think that would make it more real to me.

evp's i do believe it to be true, alot of work has been put into things to find out about spirts.

I'm at work but I definately want to hear it when I get home...I think that most of these EVP's are hoaxes but some aren't and I do believe you can pick something up doing it on your own. Probably the best way to hear things for yourself.

They've had programs on EVP's on the Coast to Coast radio program. It is very intriguing - I don't see why it isn't possible.

A paranormal group that I belong to goes and records through the entire investigation and also 2 of the leaders of the single groups wear a recorder. They can compare the time between all of the recorders, and eliminate anything where they overlap.

They have gotten about 10 evps in about 5 years. Maybe they are overly cautious, but once eliminated the evps left are just amazing to hear.

i do belong to two societys in my region and they have alot of evp reordings. but i will not put them on here due to copywrights, but once i get mine settled i will be putting mine on here, or at least a few of them. :)

i have heard sounds even people talking on tapes.its possiable to catch unknown sounds just as it is to catch a spirit on video

yes it is very possible to catch one on a video camera. i know quite a few people that have caught some good footage too.. straight from the player to either the tv or vcr.. so i do know those are genuine cause they were fresh :)

If you are in a area that has a lot of spirit's it is rather easy to record them on either cassette or video. There is a cemetary in my town where there have been documented EVP's recorded and I am going to try and gain the cities permission to tyr and get some EVP's, pics, and possibly video from there and, with the Prince's permission, post them on VR for all to enjoy. I have heard EVP's before, and bene to that site too!!! I do think it is the spriti talking. As adults we can't pick up what they are saying, maybe becuase their souls are on a different plain.
Kid's are more intune to their surroundings...even the metaphysical and supernatural ones. In most EVP's i listen to, the ghosts have been reported talking to children.
