Ok let me try thing again. Hope I did this right this time.

If you had the gift of premonition what would you do with it?

I would either stay home all day or seek help.

I would rob banks.

I I knew the future I would be very careful of many things in my life and also help prevent certain things from happening if I could, I mean if you have that gift you have it for a reason . Meaning to maybe help better things and balance them out more for everyone.

to know the future , keep it quite for things are better yet unsaid. scientist amy want to keep you under rapes for studing, no life you would have, and yet could you change it if knowing and how would that reaction start another reaction, a thought to think of

I would be scared of it because there are some things people shouldn't know and if say i could see when and how people were going to die it would be a terrible burden of whether or not to tell people.

i would use it to get money:) that is what this life is alot about, to get money and live as you want.

alixaryon, a premonition is a vision of the future, that you really have no control of. "Robbing a bank" is not something you could accomplish when you have a premonition.

If I did have it I would not tell anyone how they were gonna die unless it was something that could be prevented like a fire or some kind of accident that can be changed... otherwise I would let life take its course Imean we all have tp expire at some point and time. yet like if I could of seen 9/11 gonna happen you bet I would of said or done something to help prevent it .... shit someway, somehow.

Well if I had the gift of premonition...ummm...depends. Well if I saw something bad I might try to change it. Other then that I'd leave things be. I wouldn't mess with it too much though.

I wouldnt like it. Seeing how people die or something terrible happening to them, and not being able to do anything about it. I'd want to intervene but know that it wouldnt just change their life, but everyones life around them. Change one thing, and it alters the whole future. I'd rather not see anything. Just live in blissful ignorance.

I would use it to try to make wiser choices and help myself before i mess up anything.

I wouldn't mind so much but it might be a bit tiring to have premonitions constantly... It's not such a good thing though, you could get feelings of anxiety if you have a really bad premonition.

I agree with what another said though, if I had premonitions I would probably use it to make money or gamble... I know it's bad, but if it gives me more of a chance then anything helps... especially money as of right now.

When you see the future, you see what is going to happen at that very moment in the future, now here is the catch, the moment you take a step after seeing it, if you take a step to the left instead of the right, you have changed the future and that future is no more, but a new one has begun, one would have to be very careful, very careful indeed.

Just to mess with things, I would do everything in my power to change the outcomes that I foresee.

I wouldnt use it. If you know what is going to happen in the future it takes the risk of you preventing it to happen. If you see something you like is going to happen you probably wont work towards it so it wont happen. Also, if you knew what was going to happen and you took steps to prevent it that could be the reason it happened. You might think you are taking steps to prevent it but in reality you are taking steps towards it.

I would use it to moderate situations that lead to murder then when I have a preminition that the world could get over populated that way I would start creating accidents for people that would kill others or cause others death.I would visit people before they die untimely deaths and learn all I could from them..

i think premonitions are like reading tarot cards. it is one of many paths that can be taken. i always tell people just the fact you know what i am about to tell you can change that furture into something entirely different.

I have premonition in my dreams every now and then. When I tell my husband, he looks at me like I am crazy, and I think I am sometimes.

I would not tell a soul about this curse for the fact, no one should know whats to come.

I know, I know Gregory, but we all have our different point of views, dont we.

Besides everything else I would do or not do, I would certanly use this abillity to become a super efficient humanitarian, helping people at every step, keeping them from getting hurt from those very critical phisical and mental injuries wich mess up ones life in to a bunch of useless events, wich are not anymore under cntrl, but one wants to press the delete button out of utter desperation. I would prevent many destructive moments, and give love to people with my gift of premonition.

I believe that many people need help, and such a abillity would be considered a blessing from God, and the knowledge from premonition applied with wisdom would result in the improvement of the whole environment. Just imagine all the critical moments wich could be prevented.

I don't think any man would ever be able to voluntarily change the future, no matter what powers they have. I have always thought of premonitions as the ability to see into the future, period. So basically it's only a pain in the head... and insight to what will happen tomorrow. The only thing one may gain with the power of premonitions is more time to get ready for the future.

It would be hard, but i would try to do nothing. Know the future and changeing it are two different things. What if you saw somthingin the future and you changed it to somthing worse not meaning to.

Some people might think the ability to have premonitions would be a pain, others think it's a blessing. That's an opinion.


What's fact is you cannot change the future voluntarily, with premonitions or not.

I am of a different opinion Angelus. I strongly believe that one can, and in the future will, when the abillity has been fully mastered, see and change that what he does not see as fit to his understanding of reallity. I believe it is highly possible, it is only a matter of effort.

I don't think even God could change the future at this point. If any man were able to change the future, fictionally or not, that man can be fully considered a God.

We're not Gods Alix, we're people. We can't change the future, only await it.

Gregory, I perfectly understand that I can form what I wish to form, and that I cannot change what I wish to form, and I do understand that it is meant to be(the future) exactly what I wish to form, and that I can change it(the future) exactly after I have understood what my wishes are, and what their technical outcomes are.

I understand that the better wisdom will enable me to make better choices/forms/wishes, so regrets after negative undesirable outcomes will not be possible, an option. There will not be a need to wish for a change once I have applied the desired way of evolution of the events, from the starting point of my idea of a formed future the way I wish it to be.

I understand it is all I want it to be.

My wishes change at every starting point, with realisation of new pathways and alternate possibilities, so does the outcome of that future wich is assigned to me on my alternate pathway in a form of a wishful conduct.

I believe the future cannot be changed if one dosnot have knowledge to change it.

I believe that the future can be changed if one has the knowledge of how to change it.

Premoniton is one way, of knowing things.

Live with it as a great gift and use it wisely and to help others with generously.

Being able to really change the physical future, meaning events that are not just in your head and imagination, Alix, goes against all logic and religions known to man. It defies reason, and theory. I will be as bold to say that it defies the reasoning of God.

Sure, you can believe you can change the future.. in your head. But the physical world EVERYONE lives in can never be changed by mankind.. especially one ordinary individual.

I understand that the reasoning wich makes us right as an individual expression, is gained trough experience(we all have different level of experience and different starting points, since we experience the world from our own each personal stand point), trough eperience wisdom is gained, trough wisdom new abillities are made/gained, in ones mind, one like the premonition, and many many other wich are expecting the modern human to evolve in the near future of our evolution.

So of course Gregory, it is possible to change it. What is this "power" than the knowledge of one self and the phisical environment, like the abillity of Premonition? It is possible, thank you.

I believe that the phisical world is not a stagnated piece/place of dead matter, but just the opossite. It is very changable. How would we learn out of it if it is not changing? As imperfect beings we need this natural change the way world changes in order to learn our selves to our fullest. I believe that the gift of premonition is one proof of human beings being on the right way. It is the way we can use it once mastered, and that is to help others, as Gwendolyn mentioned. ;)

Angelus, Gregory, out of this example here you can see and understand that to change the future of events is more than possible, it is all about a precise Premonition at the right time, in order to understand the events, and influence them before they happend in a undesirable way. A successful Premonitioner is capable of understanding these crucial events/moments, and with that releasing the warning to those wich it needs to be released, wich would make certain people act in difference, now, with that new gained knowledge of what would happend events.

If you knew that something bad would happend to you, for exmpl, be hit by a car, and somebody with the strongly evolved abillity of Premoniton saw that and he warned you not to do that, that exact day, and you havent, and the events got permanatly changed to your benefit, where the accident never happend, now is this not a proof that future events can be changed? Is this not a proof for the abillity of Premontion to be something real, and not some roleplaying invention fantasy? I believe that this is a good example of a possible Premonition.

I believe that that is changing the future.

If one could change the outcomes....other things would change as well.....did anyone see the movie The Time Machine.....that explains it very well......what is meant to happen will happen no matter what you do to change it, I believe your fate is sealed the moment your conceived. So having the gift would do little in the long run.

yet are not fortune tellers and pysics people who can tell or invision the future. for if you new at this time at this day you would die in a car accident, would you not just stay home. so it would or could be a curse.

There are times I can tell what is going to happen before it does, but I think we all get that. I don't like it, especially if it's bad. It's not my hand to control the future or to change it.
I would try to find out how to get rid of it.

Well I do have them, but they do not happen often and if they do most the time they are not that important.

I have them, but sometimes I'm in a situation where I can't do anything to change the outcome, so I think that if someone is able to change the future, then the future could be changed; if not, then it just has to be that way.

I would be fearful of cause if I knew that something dreadful was about to happen.. But then I would do everything in my power to change the outcome for the better.

Even if can chose to change a future event. should you? science says every action has an equal and opposite reaction. maybe the gods(esses) give you the gift to help prepare you for the worse. to give you a hope of survival. like i said before just 'coz' you know a path can exist doesnt mean it will exist. so in the end does it really matter if you have the gift or not.

I would use it to help people, my fellow vampires, family, play the lottery or go to vegas or maybe a gameshow.....

Can we see the future and alter it? If it is altered, then what we saw was not the future.

I've dreamed things and they came true, but nothing extravegantly over the top like plane crashes or whatever. If I had that happen and it might affect someone I know...... I would tell them, but otherwise, it's like trying to call the Gov't and tell them you have a UFO in your backyard.

it all depends what the premonition is about. If it was a disaster I would try to stop it

If it meant saving a life I may perhaps act on it, but playing with future incidents can be dangerous.

I'm honestly not sure what I would do if I was blessed/cursed with this gift. It would go both ways - it could help or it could hinder things. I guess if I did have premonitions, I wouldn't do anything to change the events that are played out in them. That would be playing around with Fate, which I believe is something that humans should not try to alter or change.

If I knew the future I would tread lightly as to try and not change the balance! Take the warnings seriously also!

I would regard it as a blessing and curse.
I would still live my life and make the decisions that I normally would even though I would have the knowledge of the future.
I want to live how I want to.
But yes, I would be careful about who I'd reveal them to and whatnot.
Also, having the premonition is one thing.

If I discovered I had the ability, I would try and apply it to my everyday life, if it means helping people, then i would. However if you see something that has yet to happen. Wouldn’t that mean its going to weather you interfere or not?

As I see both of your posts are questiones, the first is; is it worth taking a chance that the intervention will help?

Is it worth to take a chance?? Of course it is worth to take a chance to prevent somebody of getting criticaly injured, or to prevent a situation where one or many persons would lose their life. And why is that of such a worth?

Simply beacuse it is the nature of things, to do the right thing, to prevent bad undesirable things, to prevent pain, to make the future to make the lives of the people better, not mention the immense apricietion of others being, wich is naturally in all of our beings.

Sorry, but this is ruffly getting translated in that I shouldnt change their grisly fate beacuse I know of it, just beacuse there is this question of "what the damn would happen if I do?", it is the same type of question like; "ow god if I just did the things the other way but I didnt!" and where is the sense in that question? hmmm? No where thats where. Why waste time in iddle time calculating mental ideas wich do not have a positive derrivation. But you know what it would happend, you would help preventing bad things from happening, so good would happen.

It seems to me the way you are expressing your self, it is like you are against the gift of Premonition wich can save lives? and prevent many other bad things, as we know there are fates worse than death.

I find even more astonishing that you are associating arrogance with the right motive of helping others, of preventing very bad bad things. You understand that as arrogance, and you are ready to associate all the good of the human soul with some useless assumptions of what would happend if I have done it, or did not done it?(it is a iddle waste of time). To make it easier, would you prevent it if you knew, thanks to the gift of premonition, that a member of your familly is about to die in a accident two days later? Would you peacefuly tie your hands and sit down like it is all matter of fate, like the tyrannous stars are right, but at the same time you are a product of those exactly and have a mental choice to make, the right one? Or do you feel like there is nothing bad in the right motive, wich is not damagging for the environment in any way, but it is actually regenerative, as every life it self is? I am sure I would, for everybody, beacuse what is most fullfiling than to do the right thing, considering that the gift of premonition gave you the right way of choice, the right way of thinking, by providing you with knowledge.

I am sure it is always right to help, to do the right thing, not to ask some tyrannous stars what is the right fate/choice of two offered, since my integral proccess of my being, of my heart, knows that already.

I do not deny the gift of Premonition, and believe that it is a great blessing for good, for the right thing/choice, for a healthy fate of others and my self, and our quality of our lifes.

I would use it more for assistance and helping of others.... death isnt something that is suppose to be stopped so my limit would be there.... i would never tell a person HOW they were to die... but maybe assist them in living their last years/moments and actually living.... i would use it to help incourage or discourage people... and maybe even stop those who seek to harm others..... but as i said before.... death is something that has to happen the way it was planned to otherwise the balance is shifted and many more lives are altered than just the one life "saved"....

A person would have to be very careful with this gift! Some events are meant to happen!

from one who believes in reincarnation. i have researched and found out some of my deaths havent occured at great times. i think we reap what we sow. helping people is great. whooo good karma. but trying to change an outcome you cant be sure even exist could just send the person under a falling piano. even if you save your family from a horrific accident, what about all the rest of the people who might die instead. instead of changing events, in reality you need to change behaviors. example instead of stopping your wife from getting on a train that is going to crash and kill everyone. why not try to change the way the train company operates its safety standards.

I wouldn't do anything specific with it but I do think it would help me make better choices in my life.

I have had premonitions quite often they help to guide my choices in life .If they are of bad things to come about someone else I will tell them and then they may use the info as they will

necrocop, I am sure that the gift of Premonition would help us change what we need to change in a right way.

I am sure it is right to save everybody but to think on saving a single person, if there are circumstances for saving everybody.

I am sure that by making positive changes made out of positive and good motives would not cause anything negative in return, especialy if helping people as a positive change, therefore I would not be concerned by these ripples of change, since they are destined to be only good positive change, being brought out by positive motives and good intentions comming from my heart.

I am very pleased when only one positive change/intention/act causes/brings many many other good positive changes as a result, as they ripple around in right light.

My ultimate opinion is that the positive decisions/acts brought out thanks to the gift of Premonition would surely generate only positivity, and more positivity, in the environment, and peoples lifes. Beacuse that is the nature of things, do good, good comes back to you, and to everybody else as a whole of wich we are part, and living in.

I would not worry about making positive interventions.

I would apply gift of premoniton in a extremly wise haste, efficiently, I would bring a boom of light, positivity, and proper conduct, out of wich everybody would learn.

For that reason I find the topic/subject of Premoniton fascinating. It is such a blessing for those who possess it. It is a tool of good, of positive.

It is a tool of creation, where one prevents all that is about to be destroyed in a negative incorrect way.

I would keep it a secret and live my life just as normal... As if I didn't have it but secretly I would be enjoying every second of it. :)

hey, telling rail companies what they should have done AFTER a crash doesnt make them sit up and take notice. what makes you think they would listen to someone who has had a premonition?

you dont have to tell people hey i had a vision and you're all going to die if you dont fix this. people would think you crazy and put you away. you start with letters to say newpapers stating from confidential sources the safey regulations arent being followed. or something to the like.

If I was having a premonition that would result in many deaths I would be questioning why I was having the premonition. I think I would be full of indecision and then immense guilt if I didn't warn others.

All you can do is warn others about things that may bring about serious injury or death. It is always up to them if they believe you or if they listen and take on board your advice.

I would do what ever possible to stop the action that is to occur.

premonition is a gift of the gods. Learn to use it as the gods do and do not meddle in affairs that might wreck the future.

I would use it to help people, of they deserved it. I think it'd be a sin to not be able to help people or save lives if you could.

act on what ever I saw happening in the near future good or bad. and if something bad was going to happen I'd try to stop it.

If it was me, family or friends I was having a preminition of I would try to stop or change the bad, or follow exactly what I did to get the good. If it was something bad for someone else I would try to find that person and try to stop or change it, or at least give them a call. I might be called crazy though...lol

i DO have the power of premontition. its not very strong. when i tell people what i see, nothing happens so they dont believe me. but when i dont say anything, it does happen, i tell people, and they still dont believe me. sooo, that sucks.

I've had dreams and thoughts of things happening, when it's about a loved one I simply tell that person about it...
However, most times, they are false...lol...
If I had this ability I think I'd use it for the good as much as possible...if possible...

I guess an open reply would be that if a moral person had the gift and foresaw something they could stop, change or warn others about they would.

hmmm...at first I would be freaking out and wondering what was with the visions. Then I would try to learn as much as I could about the premonitions and use my gift for good - to help people I can help.
