Tell me, if you could interview a vampire (and this is the supernatural myth, y'all), what would some of your questions and wonders be?
Do they have sex and how is it for them, as in is it like it was when they were human?
Were you born that way or were you turned against your will?
What do you miss about being human?
Well ... I guess first I'd have to ask exactly how s/he came to be what s/he is [a vampire].
I'd also like to ask if, given the choice, would s/he become a normal human again.
Would blood type really matter? I guess that all depends on the author of the story...
It might not. But to a vampire in said story [possibly] different types might have different tastes.
My questions would revolve around metaphysics and the transcendental, whether immortal life had in any way affected the vampires concept of god, the universe and humanity, not necessarily in that order. In particular, I'd explore on a deeper level the vampire's view of and relationship with humans
Whether the vampire considered herself supernatural, and if so, what other supernatural creatures she'd experienced.
and finally, I'd want to know the challenges and rewards of immortality from her viewpoint. then, I'd ask to meet other vampires for a comparison sampling.
I would also like to know all of their abilities like if they could fly and read minds...
I think I'd like to know, what they missed most about the sunlight. Or about being human and how their emotions affected their eating habits.
I think I would also like to know if vampires belonged to societies like humans do? If they have white and blue color classes? Do they have to work for their money or is it given to them? How do they get certain necessities (sp) besides blood? Do they actually sleep in a coffin?
Do they suffer wounds and if so do they heal immediately.
well the only vampire i would want to interview is Marius de Romanus. And there are so many questions i would have to ask him. he has done and seen and.... "lived" through so much
I actually remember that 'do vampires poop' one lol.
I also wouldn't mind asking if [before they became a vampire] they had a choice in what they became.
Any regrets about being a vampire or things they have done as a vampire that they regret
Perhaps also ask their view of society based on their longevity, comparing our current culture to past ones.
A good question would be "Has your opinion of humans changed over the centuries, or remained the same?"
my biggest question would be:
do you still feel emotion, yes or no?
well my first question
1) Did you have a choice in becoming as you are now?
Second
2) has your views about humans changed over the centuries/ and just how old are they? LOL
Third
3) if you could become mortal and die would you take that choice?
Fourth
4) do they have to ability to heal or be immune to diseases?
Just for starters , my first chapter LOL
I'd want to know how they feel about "the meaning of life" and is it worth immortality. I'd ask what beauty they'd found in all their years and how they cope with being alone (assuming they were not part of some vampirical Swiss Family Robinson...).
That's a durn good question...I think my very first question would be why they are allowing me to interview them in the first place. I'd imagine a supernatural vampire with all the bells and whistles like superhuman strength, speed, and intelligence, could easily overpower and, ah, end me, at any time, so it wouldn't be that I'd thrown a net over them and pulled out my handy dandy notebook and started asking questions. The point being, that the vampire would have chosen to tell his/her story...and I think the reason for that would open the conversation up to many titillating details.
One other point I'd try to nail down before the interview was over would be what, if he/she knew, the origin of vampires is. Is it purely spiritual, purely physical (as an evolutionary off-shoot), or is it a little of column A and a little of column B?
LOL yeah, that is good I would think it to be alittle of both columns LOL
Yet I would also ask them was / is it worth being turned, I mean out living loved ones and all.
and also if they even believed that there is any Spiritual meaning or feeling behind the whole Vampiric change over ya know?
How do they deal with it all or do they deal with it, it has got to reek havoc on their very being and well as their minds ya know.. centuries and centuries of living... always having to be sure they have a way to make a living or whatever to even survive and HIDE for years to survive... So many question and so little time LOL ...
I would ask "Can you remember what it felt like to love and need someone?".
i would ask if it hurt to die then i'd convince them to turn me
_I think I would ask them first off, like someone earlier said, why would they let me interview them in the first place? I'm pretty sure that most vampires wouldn't allow it. And then, I would ask them what they missed the most from when they were human. If I were a vampire I'd miss being able to see the sun set and or rise. To me, that's the most beautiful time of day. So I would ask what they thought their last sunrise was like._
a true vampire would never allow his or herself to be interviewed, power lies in being unknown.why let the world know you exist?what does this do but cause fear and loathing, emotions that you can definantly feal and taste
VAMPIREBLONDE, can't they still feel?
Anywho, also if they chose to become one ... why?
I was born vamp at birth ,
And a true vampire would not allow to be interviewed , If he was interviewed
He would spread the word of our kind.
1.How is it to be dead?
And the second one:
2. how do you manage to remain without memory problems and rational after some hundred years?
If you were once human, what is it like while being changed over?
Also, how long can you go for without blood?
How did you come to be what you are?
is sunlight really damaging, why?
Can you have children
what part of you causes you to require blood?
- Did your bowels really evacuate all over you after you were turned? Did that not bother you?
- What is your policy on finding a victim?
- How do you manage to hide all of those bodies?
- Do you have to drink a lot of blood in order for your naughty systems to work properly?
- Why do your teeth only leave itty bitty bite marks?
if they would sleep in a satin sheet bed or if they really prefer to be tight and restrain in a coffin?
i would ask do they really not get along with werewolf's or lycans
I would want to know how they cope with living for eternity.
What stops them from going mad/crazy.
I like Dragonrouge's question. I'd be interested in the whole vampire psychology. Humans' habits get worse with time. If someone is already a grumpy type, they only get grumpier with age. Unless we work very hard to change them our habits are pretty much set in stone by the time we're 30 -- and all those little psychoses and neuroses only get worse. I'd want to know if that was the case with the vampire, or if s/he healed psychological wounds like bodily wounds. I would guess so, since much of those problems are caused by deterioration of the brain, and the brain is part of the body...but I'd want to know for sure.
Also, I'd want to know if, over time, s/he began to look down on humans and see them only as food, or if s/he still had human friends who didn't know...could s/he still walk among mortals as one of them, and enjoy it, without thinking of them as meat?
And...I'd want to know any cool things they'd discovered about energy manipulation and such -- given such a long time to learn and study, I bed they'd know a lot, and I'd want to learn what they could teach me. :)
Supposing Vampires existed, I would like to ask how it feels to be alive for so long, and if they ever get bored mortality.
Not to get rated R... but I would wonder if they could actually have sexual relations.
I think I would ask about there lives, as amortal and as a vampire. has it changed how?
What do they miss enjoy. Compering the two lives I think
lol... can a male vampire understand a female vampire? Or is that just pointless? :P
Another question is how do your survive undetected as far as wealth, feeding and immortality goes.
What do you do as over time as others age around you.
SatansBride - Just because they 'might' not be 'allowed' to be interviewed doesn't mean they couldn't.
I'd actually like to ask if vampires had a modified version of a traditional human wedding, and how does it go.
lol i guess my first questioon would have to be : "Do u really turn into a bat?!"
How about, what do you see and feel when encountering a human? Do you see 'red'? Do you see right through the person to their thoughts? Is a person a conquest, or to be envied? All of the above?
I would ask how they handle knowing that they are going to live for a very very long time. What kinds of things they do to keep from dying out of complete boredom.
This might be a bit lame but ...
'If you 'drink' too fast or too much, do you get stomach aches?'.
I would ask the vampire, how does he feel, how old is he, what are all the abilities and that he has if any, what does he like most, and of course, is he happy to be a vampire.
I would ask him numerous other questions of course.
Besides that I would wonder over his unhuman speed, unhman strenght, and unhuman senses besides his very tall balanced body, dressed with extreme style.
I would ask him if he uses and modern conviences such as cars, planes, cell phones, computers, TV.
I'd ask about the origins of vampirism, if there was a first. If she said Akasha, I'd laugh at the inside joke. If she said Lilith, I'd be tempted to stake her. but not before I got an autographed picture of us together.
Wow, I have too many questions I'd like to ask.
Also ''Is it possible for you to go without breathing?'' Or 'Is it true your heart doesn't beat anymore?'
I would have to ask him if he would consider joining Vampire Rave.
well I would ask if they FELT that they have a purpose being Immortal and if so how do they feel that they can even make a difference?
Why not have a purpose? With out purpose to life, even immortality, how do you retain the will to live?
I would ask what the world was like before they turned. I would want to know their history. If they came from an ancient culture, like Rome, what was it REALLY like?
A lot of the questions already posted I'd ask too. What is your take on humanity? Can they socialize with humans or do they only see us as the next meal?
I think it would be a fantastic conversation. There would be so much knowledge to gain through their life experience.
I would ask if they would want to be immortal if they had the chance or stay whom they are
would ask how do they select their victims/meal
kill the bad and turn or just sip out of the good?
Or no difference a victim is a victim
If it was any style, personally mine would be documentary.
"A night in the death of..."
I would find it far more interesting to watch, and then I'm sure the questions wouldn't stop.
lol Sinora! That's right, bring them on VR... but not before they got your referral link! :P And let them come into this forum and finally clear things up for us :)
That would actually be rather cool to see, Saharia.
I'd ask if they could remember anything from their human existence.
If you could, would you wish to be mortal again.
What do you miss most about being mortal.
Thats right Lagiappe, get the referral points so we can level up...LOL
Id ask if they could tell the difference in pples blood and if they could tell certain things.
Sahahria, the questions might stop if it was time for vampire dinner!
Why not ask if everything else we think about going bump in the night really exist? If there are spirits, what kind of experiences have they had -- can they sense/see/communicate with any other non-humans? Is it easier for them because they are dead and we're not?
I would ask the vampire to show me what it can to as a vampire if it had powers and if I could be a vampire
I would like to know how old they are, how long ago they had been turned and what their view on the history of the world during their time.
Good point, Herashes. I would think being on the dark side of the fence, they should be able to tell us what other kinds of dark beings are really out there or not.
I would ask how old their oldest relative is. :-)
Id also ask how they've managed to blend in with the different time periods by changing their clothing styles periodically.
I would ask if they remembered anything about there family and if they had any desires that they couldn't full fill since they are a vampire?
I think I would also like to know if they wear sunblock, or if that was just relevant to the older generation of vampires.
I would ask about the knowledge they have gained over the years.
First thing i would ask is what "Vampyre" Clan they belonged to? If you know the clan then you know if they are going to be hostile and bite you at any moment or not.
Second would be Which generation are you? Cause if you follow the "Lexicon Demonica" then you would know what they are capable of.
You know, outside of White Wolf... I'd never heard of clans before.
when you drink blood how do you feel afterwards is it like a sexual extasy feeling or some kind of high or is it something greater
can u fly?
whn u turn ppl, what do u choose as characteristics of the person?
I assume anyone with blood pumping would work, Viola :P Maybe some go for personality ;)
well myself i would just like to meet one and let things go as they may
too much persoanality would mean too many vamprie actors::: or do u mean charisma?
Another lame one ...
I'd ask what their favorite T.V. show was?
I'd ask if they missed the sunlight or If giving a choice..would they become human again.
MA - I think depending on which myth of the vampire you use, some vampires can be out in day-light. ;]
Well..the one I was having the interview with couldn't go out in the daylight. :)
1. How old are you?
2. When exactly were you turned and was it against your will or did you want it?
3. What powers do you have?
4. Do you miss your mortal life?
5. Do you have someone that you love?
6. Have you turned anybody else?
As lustful and "shame bad dog" as this is... in all honesty... Can I be your donor/toy/ for lack of better terms bitch?
Do you miss living?
Do you stay cold?
When was you turned?
Did you have a family?
Do you miss the taste of food ?
After reading so many different questions one would ask a vampire, I would believe mine would be....
Are you really dead?
Does garlic really affect you?
What about silver?
Do you have no reflection or is that a myth?
Have you ever thought of suicide? (too far, huh)
Do you have a heartbeat?
Can you go out into the sun or is it true the sun's light would burn you?
What is it like?
Knowing the vampire they would ask me would you like to find out? heh....
My last question, would you kill me or turn me at this given chance you have as I am interviewing you? heh...
it's terrible after awhile isn't it? Do you enjoy being who you are?
