I guess I got a couple questions: Does anyone find werewolves appealing? What's appealing about them? What's not appealing? Would you like to live the life of a werewolf?
Errrr......my husband is the closest thing I could be attracted to that's werewolf like. He's a hairy beast (thank god he shaves, lol).
I couldn't find a werewolf attractive or appealing, wouldn't having sex with them be like commiting bestiality?
But then that would be contradictive.
Is having sex with a vampire commiting necrophilia?
lol
Yeah, but I've always wondered about those two questions.
Yeah I personally wouldn't consider it necrophila if I had sex with a vampire or beastiality if I had sex with a werewolf.
I love all things Loup-Garou....
That said it would only be bestiality if they were in wolf form. :-P
Honestly, if I did find myself attracted to a werewolf. I'd have sex with them in human form, but I'd be too curious about the wolf thing. I'm against bestiality, but they're part human, and it would be consensual.
Do you think they could get you pregnant in wolf form or only human form?
They way I see it vampires are more sensual where as lycans are more raw and primal...
I believe that one could get pregnant if the person was in wolf form.
Maybe....would the child come out human-like or wolf-like or a mix of both????

TormentedOne: "I guess I got a couple questions: Does anyone find werewolves appealing? What's appealing about them? What's not appealing? Would you like to live the life of a werewolf?"
I don't think werewolves are sexually appealing. However, they are mystically appealing. Any creature that can posses a form other than human is amazing.
I think it would be interesting to be able to transform into a different form. But I wouldn't want to be a killer in the other form.
Watch The Howling 3 : The Marsupials
that would show the child birthing of a werewolf
I hate the howling movies, they're so cheesy and mushy, ick.
I think the allure is the possibility of shapeshifting. that would be the main reason for the allure.
Wolves are beautiful creatures of nature. Werewolf are creatures of the night. The only purpose for a werewolf is to destroy the human flesh. So, being attractive to werewolf, is like committing suicide.
Raw and Primal are good DedLocke. ;-)
That said, I always wondered how some stories had female werewolves being able to carry children. Technically the change/ transformation would cause misscarriage.
not unlss you stay in one form or another until you give birth
TO..I guess I got a couple questions: Does anyone find werewolves appealing? What's appealing about them? What's not appealing? Would you like to live the life of a werewolf?
I do find them beautiful creatures so yes I guess it would be appealing to an extent. I guess like DedLocke mentioned it would be the raw primal side of them. The not so appealing feature is that from what I have seen in the movies is the transformation process and the fact that they lose all of their human side when they change. I guess life as a werewolf wouldn't be all that bad..I could have as much rare meat as I wanted..LOL!
I find them appealing probably because I love Wolves. There is a power and their ferocious rage that is appealing to me as well.
But I am not sure I would like to be a werewolf... the wet dog smell would eventually annoy the heck out of me :P
Loved your post Rogue..yeah the wet dog smell is a bit much..lol
Does anyone find werewolves appealing?
I do find them appealing, they are dark, mysterious and in touch with their inner animal instincts.
What's appealing about them?
There so strong and powerful.
What's not appealing?
Their savagery and their desire to just kill for the sheer pleasure.
Would you like to live the life of a werewolf?
I would have to say no, it would be a difficult life, living in the shadows, not able to get close to anyone for too long and that change has to hurt!
I think werewolfs are awesome its not just the ability to change form but the ability to control the form once changed. the power that comes from the change as well.
as far as the smell of a werewolf, well just use Axe, it will even attract the women, according to the commercials ;)
I find them appealing. Always have. Being able to shapeshift would be awesome. The only problem is the full moon bit. It would be better if you could change at will.
I find them fascinating. But I guess that would be because I am a therian married to another Therian. I love the idea of werewolves.
i personally find werewolves appealing. they are strong and smart. they have to form deep bonds to survive in the wild. as far as the woman in the pack or the female werewolf she is a very caring loving person. she not only cares for her own children and lover but she will often taken many strays and help the rest of the pack.
i think they are very appealing. yes i guess it is the power and raw primal side but there is also alot of very interesting conversation to be had with a wolf and and lots of fun to be had as well.
and well i believe that in spirit i am a hybrid , lycnan and psi vamp.
i can't say i know much about the birth of werewolf children but yes i have heard that if a werewolf were pregnant in wolf form or human for and shifted their form the change of shape and pysiology would kill the off spring.
They are interesting beings yes but I'm not sure I would like to live the life of one. I don't think I could take orders form a alfa and give up sex for the rest of my life. lol After reading a few books I don't think I would want to.
I think they are interesting. From my view, I want to get to know more. They fasinate me for some reason.
Huh wolves are appealing, yet the title and question is different for it asks of werewolves and not the animal in which inhabits the earth.
werewolves have the allure of shapeshifting and possible rejuvenation?
I think werewolves are interesting because of the unknown factor of being one.. Having such [ower and can not control it... I think people like werewolves because it is magical and not typical.
I personally love wolves in ALL forms. I prefer them over the vampires. Why? I don't know just the fact that they can change from human to animal, I guess. I have loved wolves since I was a little girl. Would I be a wolf? You bet your ass I would!
Werewolves are amazing creatures I think, the wolf clans of the of plains people still consider their family units wolf packs. One of my guardians is a wolf so I hold them in high in regards.
I hate dogs, so that kinda kills it for me, but the whole idea of being an animal thats dirty and vicious is way more gross than being a vampire. There is just something appealling about being a vamp and not a wolf.
wolves are a beautiful animal. As far as werewolves i dont beliebve a human can change into a animal. But they do make for good movies
I think that were's have a noble nature in that they are loyal to their pack and tend to have a single mate.
Would I want to be one............I don't think that is for me; but then diversity is what makes life interesting.
The wolf is a real animal,The werewolf is an imaginary creature..........If i had a chance to morph into an animal of my choice i would have to pick a Bald Eagle or Great White Shark over some flea infested werewolf.
The Bald Eagle because of its grace and beauty in flight.
The Great White Shark because of its raw power and ruthlessness.
I adore wolves.. Used to be crazy about horses, their free-spritedness, till I came across a wolf lover and I actually bothered to find their significance and what thet represent.. I have not seen nor touched a real wolf, but I believe in their sprit and nature and all that they stand for.. I feel that.
I have to say that I love wolves more then vampire's but I love vampire's too. I would have to be a type of hybrid. I have always had a facination with wolves since I was little. I love the honor, loyalty, and raw power that comes from being one. I don't think that there has been a movie, except mabey underworld that has potrayed them the way I think they should look.

I find wolves very appealing. I had a good friend who was a werewolf. She was a sweetheart, so I think werewolves are great. Vampires are much better, but I do like werewolves a lot and would definitely take on the life of a werewolf, the idea is very appealing.
Ive had wolf mates..
they are ferce and strong out of the bedroom
and they can be tender and caring in the bedroom
The thing that draws people to them is how intence they can be..Ive found that Lycans can be defencive all the time and take great pride in protecting there mates and others in there pack.
I find it odd though..why do Lycans like beef jerky and root beer?
you know,My first wish i be ANYTHING would be a
lycan.I love wolves..i used to work at a wolf farm.
the males liked me but the females hated me.:(
I find them...to be attractivly wild,strong,all-knowing,
and leaders of protection.
I was a good friend to a lycan...we were friends for 4
long years. It was hard cause they have diffrent tempers
then i am familiar with.
but,yeah...
why do they like root beer and beef jerkey?
I mean it!that is so true!
I don't mind Wolves. I wouldn't want one. I like cats.
I would like to be able to shapeshift. It it has to be a Werewolf, then so be it. It would be refreshing tobe something other than human!
What attracts me to them..sadly enough is my crazy idea that if Im being loved them..its only less monster I have to worry about trying to eat me..a kinda freak nutrality..
Besides..the adreninlin rush that washes over you when playing tag..oh gawds..makes the end of the game so much nicer..even if your the one that loses.
Greetings ....Being a psi vampire i find that i am drawn to the energy that "werewolves" as well as any other kin posses ....but then again i am drawn to strong energy fields of magikal ppl as well ..... i think most of all it is the raw intense power they posses ...be it sexual or not....wolves mate for life and they will die to protect their mate....being a shapeshifter you take on the traits of the animal that deep inside you are .not that u actually take the form of that animal.... if you consider that we all have a power animal that is part of our being our animal to "call" if you will ..we tend to be attracted to that animal in the material plane as well as the astral .....hopefully you can understand my meaning. these are very deep subjects in and of themselves ..
Werewolves are primal and free unlike vampires who appear more or less like aristocrats in some places.
Well... they are... purely intense creatures... well... the one I know personally anyways... very intense and overprotective..... and very rough... but gentle as well... gentle and sweet... and very loving... They are very loyal and will defend you to the death if the need calls for it... But again... this is just from personal experiences....
I wish more werewolves would come out of the closet. Imagine the business opportunities: grooming, boarding during "those days," werematch.com . . . the possibilities are endless.
Other than that, wolves are fascinating and I always vote on their behalf.
I don't mind living life as a werewolf. It does get kinda hard to come up with explanations as to where i am at every full moon but I manage.
Werewolves like most creatures are super powered with huge strength hence the attraction to them..
I love wolves I always have. The appeal to me because of what they are, and what they represent. They stay in packs and protect or the can roam alone, just like any human can. They are feared and loved all at one time.
Would I ever love a werewolf? I dont know itd be like any other human relationship the only difference is he can change into a creature that I love. I wouldnt consider it bestiality unless I screwed him in wolf form, otherwise its just like anyone else.
Would I ever want to be one? I dont know there are rules and laws you have to follow just as it is in the human world.
For the record many of the campire myths are wrong, they are not dead and they are not soulless so it wouldnt be necrophilia if you screwed one of them, yeah they can bite during love making but so does everyone else
If you want to read about the werewolf legends read the book written by Baring-Gould. They come in various forms. Shapeshifting isn't always attributed to what is termed a werewolf but men who went into a wolf-like frenzy. What we mostly think of are those we have seen in movies but there are numerous legends of all types and would I want to be up close and personal with one...it would depend on what legend or type to tell you the truth. If they were more like those in Blood and Chocolate, perhaps yes, if they liked humans.
For those who love wolves I would say advocate for them because man is eradicating them. In the US they almost killed out the Red Wolf but we repopulated them. Here is an excerpt from something I wrote:
"There have been many hunts for wolves around the world due to misinformation about their nature. The “wolf plague” in Scotland caused the extermination of the wolf in that region. The British wolf disappeared by 1743 and the Irish wolf by 1773. The few that have survived in Europe have migrated to isolated places. The wolf is now protected in Europe but like a lot of species that were thought of as hunter’s game, the hunters pay large amounts of money to continue to hunt them. These wolves are still seen as predatory even though it is known they are shy and extremely intelligent. The wolf has become an endangered species like many other animals that have had to live at the mercy of man. Although in the United States wolf numbers have increased and they are no longer considered as endangered.
The Italian government has tried to protect their wolves but many of them have had to abandon the pack to survive and scavenge for food. They come in closer to town to feed. Many places have open dumps where butchers put the remains of animals they have prepared. The wolves feed there along with feral dogs and in many cases they are known to mate. Their offspring are unrecognizable from the domestic dogs that run loose in the villages but they are wilder and considered ferocious and carriers of rabies. They run freely through the neighborhoods assumed to be stray dogs. The number of wolves believed to live in the mountains of Italy, are a mere 250.
Norway has forbidden hunting of wolves except for farmers protecting their livestock. The government has even tried to curb the farmers killing the wolves by compensating them for their losses. Although many protective programs have been set up around the world it does not seem to be enough unless people wake up and see they are systematically putting the wolf in the position of total extinction through their frivolous and wanton acts of killing them.
The Celts believed that the wolf was the source of lunar power. It was symbolized as the wolf hunting and devouring the sun each day at dusk to allow the moon to arise and display its own power in the night. The Turkic people believed they were actually descended from wolves and revered them."
Therefore if for the sake of argument, werewolves existed in some form they may be the only vestige we have of anything associated to the wolf other than photos, movies, documentaries or histories left if we keep killing them the world round as men have been doing for a very long time. Perhaps for this reason the attraction would be there because only a memory of the real wolf would be left in society as time passed.
During middle ages, especially from 15th to 17th century, Europe was under the dark shadow of ignorance and superstitions. Towns were underdeveloped and people lived near woods. The fear of wolves was like a nightmare. Their attacks were so frequent and atrocious in nature that people even feared to travel from one place to another. Every morning, countryside people would find half-eaten human limbs scattered on their fields.
The first recorded Werewolf sighting took place around the countryside of German town Colongne and Bedburg in 1591. An age-old pamphlet describes those shivering moments vividly. Few people cornered a large wolf and set their dogs upon it. They started to pierce it with sharp sticks and spears. Surprisingly the ferocious wolf did not run away or tried to protect itself, rather it stood up and turned out to be a middle-aged man he was Peter Stubbe from the same village.
Stubbe was put on a torture wheel where he confessed sixteen murders including two pregnant women and thirteen children. The history behind his downfall was rather bizarre. He had started to practice sorcery when he was only 12 and was so obsessed with it that even tried to make a pact with the Devil. Wearing a magic girdle he started to attack his enemies, real or imaginary. After several months, he would take the guise of a wolf and continued with his evil acts with more brutality. In the wolf form he used to tear up victims’ throats and suck warm blood from veins. Gradually his thirst for blood grew and he roamed around fields in search of prey.
The savagery of his crimes was beyond imagination. The trial record motioned few of them. Once two men and a woman were walking along a road that went through the forest Stubbe used to hide in. He called one of them into the forest. When the man did not return for a long time the second one followed his trail and also disappeared into the forest. When both the man didn't return for a long time the woman ran for her life. Later, two mangled male corpses were recovered from the forest, but the woman’s body never reappeared. It was believed that Stubbe had devoured it all. Young girls playing together or milking the cows in the fields were his frequent victims. He used to chase them like a hound, catch the slowest one, rape and kill her. Then he would drink hot blood and eat tender flesh from her body. However; the most gruesome sin he committed was upon his own son. He took him to a nearby forest, cracked the poor child’s skull open and ate brain from it.
No punishment could match the magnitude of Stubbe’s crime. His flesh was pulled off with red-hot pincer, his arms and legs were broken and he was finally decapitated. His carcass was burned to ashes.
The Magistrate of Bedburg built a grim monument remembering the ghastly incident. Workmen put the torture wheel atop a tall pole with Stubbe’s head above it structured with the likeliness of a wolf. Sixteen pieces of yard long wood cuts were hung from the rim of the wheel commemorating poor souls of the victims. The words of Stubbe’s trial and execution spread across the lands in no time. His brutality, atrocity and savagery were beyond human comprehension and was readily related with the behavior of a wolf. People started to believe that such individuals with the shadow of wolves were living among them. They named them Werewolves.

Werewolf legends
Awesome story, thanks for sharing desir3s.
Would make an awesome movie,...wouldn't it?
I often wonder if Bigfoot sightings are actually infact Lycan sightings?
Considering no one has even trapped or killed a bigfoot, perhaps it's because they are Werewolves and morph back to human state?
Would also explain their human like features of hands and feet??
That is quite the possibility very good observation I never thought of that.
There's a wolf hunt going on right now in Idaho.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/11/us/11wolves.html?th=&adxnnl=1&emc=th&adxnnlx=1252778677-65JJtzgZ5bfYQOlIzAyZxA
There is a French movie, "Brotherhood of the Wolf." Great film, and really addresses the power of fear especially as it relates to things not understood. It is about a fear of wolves and the lengths people will go to in order to rid themselves of those fears.
Changing into a werewolf is like starting puberty times 100.
One day you're playing baseball with your friends and the next day you're looking at porn on your dad's computer. You feel dirty, out of control, and surly. You can't stay away from the images, you don't understand your body's reaction, but it feels too good to resist. you look at your mom in new ways and disgust yourself. You notice your next door neighbor has nipples and is suddenly very protective of her chest. You want to touch her chest, make her flinch. It's nasty business. I'm surprised some people make it through. The rest of you. . . well
i find werewolves very appealing who would not be attracted to the wolf its a primal need that consumes us all i am proud to love them
I adore wolves.. but am not particularly keen on werewolves... Is that normal? haha..
The werewolf to me, is nothing more than a bipedal wolf that can't come into contact with silver. However, this just what Hollywood has told me, and I haven't really spent a lot of time researching lycanthropes because I prefer vampires : )
Basically a big animal when the moon is full, and just a person with a curse otherwise.
Like vampires werewolves have some of the same attributes.Power, brute stength both in mind and in body.I love the wolves.I am as close to wolves as any other animal on this earth. They have the animal magnetism to seduce any mate they might want.I greatly admire them and i idealize with them.Plus it never hurts to be an alpha werewolf. If i had to choose between being a werewolf or a vampire i would choose werewolf hands down.
what about having sex with a lycanthrop. i think it would be fun I live wolves and to be married to one would be wierd but if i were married to his human counterpart now that would be cool. then i would have my own wolf to have and to hold forever.
Probably the most misunderstood creature ever thanks to some Legends and Unholywood The desire for human flesh is overstated and the full moon thing is only partly correct.
Were's have an extremely high sex drive at ALL times but are faithful, loyal mates. Packs are rare because of the highly competetive nature of the creatures and the human form factor.
Most Were are shy animals due to persecution by othert beings.
And they do not ALL like beef Jerky and root beer!!
More info to follow later
I am fascinated by werewolves! They are a creature I've only recently developed a passion for, but it is to the point that I want to write about them in my first novel.
I think that what is appealing about them is their strength and agility and thought processes while in the wolf form; other than that, werewolves are still human 3/4 of the month. Even then, I don't see werewolves as a danger or a threat because when they do kill it is strictly for survival purposes, and not for the sake of killing.
Would I want to live my life as a werewolf? Hmm, probably not. I don't like to eat raw meat. ;-)
I love warewolves yes they facinate me and itresting what some of the people have said on this thread many things to consider
Yes they can be appealing. The idea of being able to run free and take a different shape. I wouldnt want to have sex with one while not in human form. That just sounds scary and painfull. I think things would get out of control. It does seem comforting to being in a pack however, the lone werewolf lives a lonely life. So i think that would be unappealing if you dont have a pack and being a werewolf. I totally do a vampire though, yeah go figure sleep with the dead but not with a primal beast but even sleeping with the dead could be like sleeping with a primal beast......HMMMMMM.........dunno!!!!!!!!!
Wolves are appealing to me because of their spiritual connection to lots of story.
Werewolves are appealing because they are they work of stories of horror being passed down through the ages.
Personally, I am not sexually attracted to them but it is they same as someone getting all hot and steamy at the thought of a Vampire.
Wolves and werewolves are too common, everyone I know loves them is sickening...
However they are one interesting topic to ponder...
Werewolfs n wolfs are the most free and loyal beings known to me. I always will love them. I follow my life after them. So yes i would have one as a mate and i do.
as i am reading these post i am hearing alot of negativity about my species. it seems to me that instead of getting to know a lycan and finding out first hand hwo we are that several people and creatures would rather rely on ficticous urban legend style movies to base they're beliefs about us on. i dont find that fair at all. we lycans are, for the most part very misunderstood creatures. no we do not change only at the full moon. we may change into our true form whenever we please. yes we consume flesh but all people do in one form or another. we protect our pack and the ones we love. we do not kill anyone who gets in our way. i wish people would learn to go to the source for answers to they're questions instead of basing them on garbage like hollywood stereotypes.
Mordire, I can certainly understand where you are coming from. And I have seen some rather rude and misconstrued things said on the topic. But they are simply just that I believe. Misconstrued. When we think there have been false interpritations about us, we must educate. And never lead those who are wrongly informed to feel uncomfortable about asking, for if it weren't for threads like this we may never have the opportunity to give factual information and all they will ever have is assumption. And we all know what assumption does. Remember seeing those old movies and stories with angry farmers stomping through the forest with hunting dogs, torches and pitchforks? Again I am surely not critisizing you for your disapproval of people taking these common misconceptions about us as fact. Only encouraging you to offer what info you have rather than discouraging those ignorant to the facts from asking.
Okay Nitewolf-your right..not ALL lycans eat beef jerky and drink rootbeer..however..the f ew Ive run across have enjoyed this s dsnack.
though as of late its been blueberry pie's and cherrios..
Anyways..
Due to my open mind-edness..I would like to pose a question to all our VR friends of the "fuzzy" persuation..
If Lycanthropy is enharited like vampirisum..How can you determin if your child is born with it or not without having to wait till puberty sets in..
Are there signs to watch for?
i swear my brother is werewolf-like minus all the primal part. he just doesn't have that in him.
anyway. i love wolves and werewolves. i not only love their strength and power but their wisdom, loyalty, and love they share, and the domination they have, their mark for territory like vampires are seem to have.
as for whether i want to be one? i'll stick to vampyrism on that one, though i love wolves and hope maybe i can get a liscence to keep one as a pet. they make great friends.
and as xxBlackHawkxx says, good movies.
I respect them. They are just surviving like the rest of us.
I completely respect them.
thats all im getting into this right now
Signs of a true Lycan Cub are rare however, there are a few to watch for,Quite often what is diagnosed as ADHD is actually Lycanthropy (not always, often) one of My cubs was born with more hair than usual (on the back) in a Ypattern. Other than those signs,I know of no others
Could say..oohh..a tendency to eat anything put in front of them count? He was born with a full head of hair..
Hmm..dont know about the body hair but yeah I dont even have to think twice about the ADHD..he's not even two and you can see it..he's restless..more so at night..
Yup night time restlesness by the way,the cub with the extra hair is female
wolves are the most sexy things. I mean come on were do you think doggie stly came from????? If you want your love to be soft and sweet with soft passion go vamp. If you want to break things, wake up with bite marks and have a hard time walking the next day but have a smile on your face all day long fuck a werewolf.
i want to apologize for last post. xeSevireD is correct. i suppose my anger flared and it shouldnt have. i want to invite anyone who has questions about Lycanthropy or wolves to feel free to send me a message and ask any questions you may have. any at all. i am not an easily embarrased person so even personal questions are welcome. again im sorry for sounding the way i did on my last post. and just for the record we can be gentle lovers as well. granted most of the time we arent but we are able to be.
I prefer to be the gentle lover myself and very occasionally being not so gentle
hehehehe...Nitewolf, whos more rough in bed among the wolves..the men, or the women..?
hehehehe..
Ive only been around males..so I have no base for comparison.
I think the idea of a shape shifter is fascinating. I don't know that I'd ever like to be one but then again, I can't know that for sure either.
I like the thought of domination/submission.
right up my alley!!!!!
who said they wouldn't want to give up sex all the time??!!!!
WTF!!!!! geez.............why not? where do I sign up???
lol.
My beloved is the werewolf....I am the vampire.... ;)
The age old battle!
Werewolves are just as fascinating as vampires. But I tend to be even more fascinated with the vampire.
wolfs n werewolf are both
we r loyal, friendly, protecters, lovers
but we can be totally animals w/ hate n blood lust
but we learn to control the animal part n let it out to
hunt w/ a pact that we belong to n to protect our pack
if the pack is harmed
dragonwolf69
i have to agree with the last comment and also the females are crazy lovers and i mean crazy. damn! but i wouldnt have it any other way
i love wolves though...
lycans are other kind of creature...
i find it appealling for them to tranform on both human and wolf form...
but in nature...
i love wolves...
♥♥♥
thank you mordire
i like to hear what else u have on the subject
It depends on your view of werewolves. I know one. In fact I'm dating one. The wolf form... Not completely true. It's odd. When they fight it's not a war for or wolf form. They just get really freakin strong and vicious. >.< She's quite appealing. Incredibly appealing actually.
i dont find anything apealing about warewolfs and nore would i wanna be one id rather live in class and be clean and not smell like a wet dog
Ok the true Were's covering is actually more like human hair than fur, so no wet dog smell sheeeesh!
